Abstract

The Lematang Enim Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) is a company whose job is to serve customers. The public service in Lematang Enim Regency is reporting disturbances from customers at PDAM by telephone or by going directly to the PDAM service department and will be served by customer service officers by providing a disturbance report form. Then the officer submits a complaint handling warrant to the technical picket officer concerned to be followed up at the intended location. This study aims to design a mobile-based complaint information system and mapping. Making the application using the RAD (rapid application development) method with the stages of analyzing the stages of the required needs, designing the design model to be made, implementing a mobile-based fault reporting information system and mapping to make it easier for customers and technical parties. This research produces a system that can send customer service disruption report data to a server via a mobile-based device. This system can be used by customers and technical staff to the location of the damage and carry out repairs to completion. With this system, it is hoped that it will be able to fulfill the basic needs of PDAM Lematang Enim to improve service to customers and make it easier for customers to submit service interruption reports.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of information system at RSUD Palembang BARI with the aim of enhancing information system security. In this context, a security audit is conducted using the COBIT 2019 framework. The COBIT 2019 domains and processes utilizing include EDM03, APO12, APO13, APO14, and DSS05. The research involves the identification and evaluation of information security risks, determination of necessary security controls, and ensuring compliance with the information security standards established by COBIT 2019. The findings indicate that the level of information system security at RSUD Palembang BARI is at level 3 (Defined), with a gap analysis difference of 1 level below the expected target. Based on the above results, efforts to improve and enhance the information system security at RSUD Palembang BARI are still needed. The use of information system security techniques such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, WAF, IDS and IPS, and data encryption, as well as improving security in terms of server physical aspects such as installing CCTV and restricting user access with access cards or fingerprints, can be implemented to ensure compliance with relevant information security standards. Consideration for obtaining security certifications, like ISO 27001, should also be taken. Additionally, the quality of human resources in terms of policy-making and the ability of employees to address threats and attacks on information system security should be improved through training and strengthening coordination among employees.

Abstract

Indonesia is the world’s largest rubber producer after Thailand with an average income of 3.107.544 tons/year, with these data many Indonesian people become rubber farmers to make ends meet. The price of rubber has a large impact on the lives of the Indonesian people so that when the price of tubber decreases or increases, many people speculate and have opinions about the price of rubber, therefore this study aims to classify public opinion regarding the price of rubber. People’s opinions and expressions regarding the price of rubber are often expressed by them on the social networking site Twitter, Twitter is the most common public means of expressing the emotions of people all over the world today. In this study, the classification of public opinion regarding rubber prices was carried out based on public opinion on the social networking site Twitter. The purpose of this study is to find out the sentiments circulating on Twitter regarding the price of rubber using Naïve Bayes algorithm. Based on the result of the research that has been done, negative sentiment is obtained by 92% and positive sentiment is obtained by 62%, while the accuracy value is obtained by 84%. The conclusion of this study is that the community has more negative than positive opinions about the price of rubber.

Abstract

Ulu script is one of the letterforms or writing systems used and developed bt the communities of South Sumatra, specifically the Serawai, Lembak, Rejang, and Pasemah ethnic groups. Typically, Ulu script is used for daily activities such as storytelling, writing poetry, and recording customary laws. Ulu script needs to be preserved because its usage has been declining due to the introduction of the Latin script, which has become the international standard. To preserve Ulu script, a tool is needed to assist in transliterating Latin text into Ulu script. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based application for transliterating Latin text to Ulu script using mapping techniques and the sequential search algorithm. The resulting application can assist and facilitate users in transliterating text from Latin to Ulu script.

Abstract

Abstract-This research integrates the capabilities of two primary algorithms for vehicle type detection on highways, namely Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and You Only Look Once (YOLO). The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of these two algorithms in recognizing various types of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, and buses, within a road context. The research methodology involves the collection of datasets containing vehicle images, model training using CNN and YOLO architectures, and performance evaluation based on precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results demonstrate that the combined utilization of CNN and YOLO approaches yields a high level of accuracy in identifying vehicle types on highways. These findings hold promising applications in the development of intelligent traffic monitoring systems, traffic measurement, and the enhancement of road safety. This research makes a valuable contribution to the advancement of image processing technology and object detection in the realm of transportationAbstrak-Penelitian ini mengkombinasikan kinerja dua algoritma utama dalam deteksi jenis kendaraan pada jalan raya, yaitu Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dan You Only Look Once (YOLO). Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh kedua algoritma tersebut dalam mengenali berbagai kendaraan misalnya motor, mobil, truck dan bus dalam konteks jalan raya. Metode penelitian mencakup pengumpulan dataset berisi gambar-gambar kendaraan, pelatihan model menggunakan arsitektur CNN dan YOLO, serta evaluasi kinerjanya berdasarkan parameter presisi, recall dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan gabungan CNN dan YOLO menghasilkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dalam mendeteksi jenis kendaraan pada jalan raya. Hasil ini memiliki potensi aplikasi dalam pengembangan sistem pemantauan lalu lintas cerdas, pengukuran lalu lintas, dan peningkatan keselamatan di jalan raya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memajukan teknologi pemrosesan citra dan deteksi objek dalam konteks transportasi.

Abstract

Twitter users use social media to express emotions about something, whether it is criticism or praise. Analyzing the opinions or sentiments in the tweets that Twitter users send can identify their emotions for a particular topic. This study aims to determine the impact of vectorization methods on public sentiment analysis regarding the readiness for offline learning in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. The authors labeled sentiment using two different approaches: manually and automatically using the NLP TextBlob library. We compared the vectorization method used by employing count vectorization, TF-IDF, and a combination of both. The feature vectors were then classified using three classification methods: naïve Bayes, logistic regression, and k-nearest neighbor, for both manual and automatic labeling. To assess the performance of sentiment analysis models, we used accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score for performance metrics. The best results showed that the Logistic regression classifier with the feature extraction technique that combines count vectorization and TF-IDF provided the best performance for both data with manual and automatic labeling.

kerja praktek mahasiswa dituntut untuk melakukan kegiatan bersifat realita. Kerja praktek juga memberikan gambaran nyata tentang kondisi dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya, selain itu mahasiswa juga dapat lebih professional dan berani sehingga terbentuknya karakteristik diri lewat pengalamannya ketika melakukan kegiatan kerja praktek. Dalam rangka melaksanakan kerja praktek kami memilih PT Pusri Palembang, pada bagian Departemen Mitra Bisnis dan Layanan Teknoloi Informasi. Dimana pada Departemen Mitra Bisnis dan Layanan TI berada dibawah Divisi Teknik dan Pengembangan, dipimpin oleh seorang Manager dan membawahi unit kerja Bagian Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Kantor Pusat dan Pusat Produksi, Bagian Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pemasaran dan Unit Penunjang Bagian Pengoperasian Sistem Komputer dan Bagian Pemeliharaan Komputer dan Menganalisis Data. Pada Departemen Mitra Bisnis dan Layanan TI PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, Kami memperoleh seorang pembimbing lapangan yang bertugas memberikan pengarahan tentang proyek yang akan dikerjakan. Setelah berdiskusi lebih jauh, kami memperoleh proyek penghitungan survei kepuasan terhadap layanan TI dengan menggunakan Skala Likert dan SPSS. Survei yang dilakukan menggunakan google form untuk mempermudah mengelola form survei dan mengumpulkan hasil survei sehingga bisa lebih mudah dihitung dengan SPSS, Hasil perhitungan survei ini berupa dapat membantu PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. Kata Kunci : Survei kepuasan layanan TI, skala likert, SPSS.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to create a web-based information platform for placing food orders at the establishment named Twilight Coffee. The approach adopted for constructing this platform follows the stages of extreme programming in software development, encompassing Design, Coding, and Testing. The system's design phase employs a standardized modeling language (UML), incorporating use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. Implementing a food ordering system streamlines the food selection procedure. By introducing a web-based menu ordering system accessible via Android mobile devices, this initiative represents an enhancement to the current facilities and infrastructure. This enhancement is aimed at elevating employee efficiency in catering to customer needs

Abstract

Diabetes is a serious challenge in the world of health, with broad impacts. In an effort to overcome this problem, it is important to analyze the classification of diabetes data to provide valuable insights. This study focuses on the comparison of the two main classification methods, namely Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM), in analyzing diabetes data. We use the Python 3 programming language for implementation. The initial study involved the characterization of the dataset, including parameters such as blood pressure and blood glucose levels, which were important factors in the analysis. The preprocessing process is carried out to ensure data quality by overcoming missing or invalid values. After that, the dataset is divided into training and testing subsets. The Naive Bayes and SVM methods are implemented using the scikit-learn library in Python 3. Both models are trained using a training subset and tested on a test subset. The test results show that both methods have good performance in classifying diabetes data, but SVM stands out with higher accuracy. SVM has the ability to handle complex data and find optimal decision boundaries. The Naive Bayes model achieves the highest accuracy of 78.13% on 70% training data and 30% testing data, while the SVM model achieves 79.63% on 90% training data and 10% testing data. Overall, this study provides an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of both methods in the context of classifying data on diabetics.

Abstract

Current village development cannot be separated from the support of information technology, in order to improve services to the community. One example is the existence of an internet program entering the village, the internet is currently not only enjoyed by urban communities but has reached rural communities. The difficulty of accessing existing information makes researchers interested in developing a website-based village information system with the aim of improving services to rural communities and access to information can be obtained easily. This website can improve services to the public so that information to the public can be accessed easily and accurately.
