Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges of citizenship issues in preparing Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. This research is content analysis research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and tracing documents and archives. The results show great challenges of Indonesian as a state in terms of maintaining the foundational philosophical theory of Pancasila. This determines the importance of a study of civic education as the spearhead in preparing the generation that will inherit the nation and state of Indonesia. In 2045, Indonesia expects to have a golden generation. This of course requires Indonesian as a state to prepare its human resources, namely the younger generation, to face this momentum well. The golden generation of Indonesia is expected to be a generation that is tough, thinks forward, and always upholds the values of Pancasila. The golden generation of Indonesia in 2045 is the hope for the future of the nation. Civics as a subject in school has a paramount role in preparing Indonesia’s golden generation in 2045. Civics must be able to solve challenges such as intolerance, the ideology of other nations, and globalization. The prospect of civic education is being promoted as a panacea for solving problems that exist in Indonesia as a nation.

Abstract

This article aims to study how the existance and function of political education in Indonesian mass media since Reformation Era.The method used in this article is an inductive approach with library research data collection techniques.This study found that mass media played an important role in political education in Indonesia. The mass media in democracy stateare not only as an information provider, but also as medium of political change of society. The mass media tied to the political system itself. But this study also found the root of the problem of political education in Indonesia was the existence of inequality in the structure of media control in Indonesia so that the media tended to experience deviations and political alignments in reporting. Here we need a reflective moment of political education in the mass media. However, Reformation wave in 1998 was not very encouraging in the development of political education in the mass media. The presence of online media and extensive internet networks was expected to be an alternative to political education but collided with the low level of public literacy. This media alignment cannot be eliminated but can only be minimized by strengthening political education in other sectors such as family, school and society. Even so, mass media still has a significant role in political education but requires a high level of literacy prerequisites.

Abstract

The lower economic community is a strategic target for political actors to launch political actions and promises that signal interest. To anticipate this, efforts needed to increase an awareness of community politics which is not only limited to political actions and activities, but also includes knowledge about politics that can be started by understanding the nature of political rights correctly and comprehensively. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to describe the conceptualization of citizens' political rights traced based on the history of the use of the concept of democracy from various periods of time. The method used to compile this article is library research and data analyzed by inductive analysis models. The results obtained from the writing of this article are the conceptualization of the use of political rights based on the history of the use of democracy which began from the time of Ancient Greece (6th to 3rd century BC) until the 20th century.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to revealed the role of the teacher in improving the character of discipline in order to realized students' personal resilience through learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education at SMA 1 Wonreli. student personal resilience. This research was a case study with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in SMA 1 Wonreli Maluku Barat Daya (MBD). Data collection techniques in this study used three methods, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were 1) The role of teachers in enhancing the character of discipline to created student personal resilience was the right way to instilled character values in the younger generation in order to created a generation with character and integrity. 2) Teachers always emphasized students to be disciplined and had good personalities in facing challenges and obstacles that weakened personal resilience, arriving at school on time, not cheating, wearing uniforms according to prescribed rules, obeying in words and actions. 3) In improving the character of discipline to created student personal resilience or fostering student character was the main alternative in producing students who were in accordance with the values of Pancasila.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan peran guru dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin demi untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pribadi siswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMA 1 Wonreli, Kendala apa saja yang di hadapi dalam menigkatkan karakter disiplin siswa, upaya yang digunakan dalam menigkatkan disiplin siswa untuk mewujudkn ketahanan pribadi siswa.Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMA 1 Wonreli Maluku Barat Daya (MBD). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengunakan tiga cara yaitu, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Peran guru dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pribadi siswa merupakan cara yang tepat untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada generasi muda demi untuk menciptakan generasi yang berkarakter dan berintegritas. 2) Guru selalu menekankan kepada siswa untuk berdisiplin dan berkepribadian baik dalam menghadapi tantangan dan hambatan yang melemahkan ketahanan pribadi, datang di sekolah tepat waktu., tidak mencontek, memakai seragam sesuai aturan yang ditentukan, taat dalam perkataan dan tindakan. 3) Dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin untuk mewujudkan ketahanan pribadi siswa atau membina karakter siswa merupakan alternatif utama dalam menghasilkan peserta didik yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

The plurality of Indonesian, besides becoming a property, also becoming a boomerang for the unity of a nation. The conflict that arises will not resolve if they are left casually. The disputes can be overcome and avoided if the society can build positive social interaction among fellow. Therefore, in facing conflicts, it is necessary to realize that an ethnic group is not a social group that must be considered by, however, a local knowledge that is store in a culture of ethnic groups. This research aims to determine the social interaction of South Sulawesi’s communities, namely the ethnic of Bugis, Makassar, Mandar, and Toraja. Those four ethnics have had cultural characteristics that have been being a customs and philosophies of their lives because they have normative elements values that can bind their members. This research is compiled through a literature study in which the data obtained from various books and journals. The result reveals that the ethnics of South Sulawesi have been building social interaction based on the culture of Siri’ Na Pacce and Sipakatau, which are the main foundation in building positive communication among fellow. Those cultures must be well implemented and maintained in building social interaction.

Abstract

Surakarta has a multiethnic and multicultural society. There have been long conflicts that led to forms of discrimination and violence against ethnic Chinese in Surakarta. This conflict resulted in deep trauma for the Surakarta society. Conflict reconciliation is needed so that there is no gap between the society. One of the efforts made is to carry out social interactions. The purpose of this study was to create a scheme of forms of social interaction spread across several fields. This article was prepared using a library study method where the data obtained came from various books, journals, and theses. The results show that the interaction of Chinese and Javanese in Surakarta can be made into a scheme grouped in 8 fields, such as language, education, economics, religion, community activities, arts, marriage, and culture

Abstract

Bima people are known to be very religious, one of them being the Bima women who always cover their genitals. One of the well-known covers of genitalia in Bima is to use a Sarong, called the Rimpu. The purpose of this study wants to know the Rimpu culture as the existence of Islamic women in the land of Bima. This article compiled using the library research method. The results provided are Rimpu is genital cover clothes made of Sarong. The Rimpu has been in Bima since the first time Islam entered and applied to the sultanate in the land of Bima. The Rimpu divided into two types, namely regular Rimpu and Mpida Rimpu. The usual Rimpu split into two, namely Rimpu Colo and Rimpu Cili. The Rimpu Mpida divided into three kinds of Rimpu, namely, Rimpu Mpida, Rimpu Gala And Rimpu Cili. The Rimpu has multiple functions in addressing the times, as a religious identity, distinctive characteristics of Bima culture, and protector of women in interacting with the opposite sex. Nowadays, the government is trying to preserve it by holding a cultural parade every year.

Abstract

Discourse about civil society is almost being a main topic at any conversations beside topics of httman rights, democracy, reforms and globalization. Civil society is a kind of society which are open, plttralzstic, decentralized with a massive partiapation on politic activities, honest,fair, selfhelp, harmony, gttarantee the freedom of faith, speaking, making or involving in a union, expressing themselves, of the property rights and respect btanan rights. The realization needs process and time and commitment from all citizen to riform themselves totaly and always consistent and wise to react on deniable conflict.

Abstract

The Constitution (UUD 1945) actually gave an opportunity for implementation of decentralist governmental system. But the New Order's Regime was not given enough manual for institutionalized decentralist government system. The idea to implement decentralist government system keep roll on until the issue of the Bill on Local Government No.32 Tabun 2004 as a completion of its previous. The wide authority to implement local governmental autonomy given by that bill implied politically as the discretion, scope and volume of local politic being wider and by managerial also make the tasks and responsibility of local government being wider and heavier.
