Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pemahaman pembelajaran; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (3) penilaian hasil dan tindak lanjut; (4) kendala-kendala dalam pembelajaran; (5) cara mengatasi kendala dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan pendekatan saintifik di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan desain model evaluasi countenance stake serta menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods secara sequential exploratory. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pemahaman guru PPKn tentang pendekatan saintifik sangat baik berdasarkan persentase 66,66% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta sangat baik berdasarkan persentase 74,92% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (3) pelaksanaan penilaian hasil dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta dikategorikan sangat baik; berdasarkan persentase 66,66% pada kategori sangat tinggi; (4) kendala pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik tidak banyak ditemukan dalam pelaksanaannya; (5) upaya-upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik sudah baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk infiltrasi budaya global dalam pesta  Baratan serta pengaruhnya terhadap perubahan perilaku sosial masyarakat Jepara. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan budaya global yang masuk melalui pesta Baratan berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan perilaku sosial yang sedang berkembang dalam masyarakat Jepara. AbstractThis study aims to determine the form of global cultural infiltration in the Baratan festival and its influence on social behavior changes in Jepara society. The study conducted with qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis and were analyzed using the interactive analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the global culture that entered through the Baratan festival influenced the formation of social behavior that was developing in Jepara society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges of citizenship issues in preparing Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. This research is content analysis research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and tracing documents and archives. The results show great challenges of Indonesian as a state in terms of maintaining the foundational philosophical theory of Pancasila. This determines the importance of a study of civic education as the spearhead in preparing the generation that will inherit the nation and state of Indonesia. In 2045, Indonesia expects to have a golden generation. This of course requires Indonesian as a state to prepare its human resources, namely the younger generation, to face this momentum well. The golden generation of Indonesia is expected to be a generation that is tough, thinks forward, and always upholds the values of Pancasila. The golden generation of Indonesia in 2045 is the hope for the future of the nation. Civics as a subject in school has a paramount role in preparing Indonesia’s golden generation in 2045. Civics must be able to solve challenges such as intolerance, the ideology of other nations, and globalization. The prospect of civic education is being promoted as a panacea for solving problems that exist in Indonesia as a nation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan (1) proses, (2) strategi, (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembiasaan karakter kewarganegaraan di SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ketua yayasan, kepala sekolah, guru mata pelajaran, pembina asrama, dan pembina ekstrakurikuler di SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan teknik trianggulasi sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data induktif dari Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) proses pembiasaan karakter kewarganegaraan di SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta dilakukan secara menyeluruh (holistic), melalui proses kegiatan pembelajaran, kultur sekolah, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan bermasyarakat; (2) strategi pembiasaan karakter kewarganegaraan di SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta dilaksanakan melalui pemberian nasihat, pembiasaan akhlak yang baik, adanya penghargaan dan sanksi, serta keteladanan guru (ustaz/ustazah); dan (3) faktor pendukung pembiasaan karakter kewarganegaran  terdiri atas faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal berupa tata tertib dan kultur sekolah, dukungan dan kerja sama yang baik antarseluruh warga sekolah, dan dukungan orang tua, serta faktor eksternal berupa dukungan dan kerja sama antar pihak sekolah dan masyarakat. Faktor penghambat terdiri atas minimnya sarana dan prasarana, jumlah proporsi yang tidak seimbang antara jumlah pembina dan peserta didik, pembiayaan, dan karakter peserta didik dengan latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya pelestarian tradisi Nyadran di Desa Gabus, Kecamatan Ngrampal, Kabupaten Sragen, Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai penguatan identitas nasional di Indonesia terutama pada masyarakat Jawa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif sebagai pendekatan dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan narasumber, dan dokumentasi. Narasumber terdiri atas ketua RT, masyarakat Desa Gabus, dan tokoh agama. Dokumen berupa goto-foto kegiatan Nyadran. Analisis data secara kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya tradisin Nyadran dengan cara:1) memperkenalkan tradisi Nyadran pada generasi muda yang dilibatkan dalam kepengurusan pelaksanaan dari awal sampai akhir acara. 2) keluarga membiasakan anak sejak kecil dalam segala hal yang baik. Begitu pula dengan mengajarkan mengenai tradisi Nyadran yang pada awalnya anak hanya meniru setelah dewasa dengan bimbingan orang tua memberikan pemahaman tentang tradisi Nyadran. 3) lembaga adat dan pemerintah bekerja sama memberikan pemahaman dan pelestarian terkait dengan tradisi Nyadran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan hidup kasus kebakaran hutan di Indonesia merupakan permasalahan yang cukup serius. Maka dari itu perlu adanya upaya penegakan hukum yang memiliki sebuah peran yang penting. Penegakan hukum dapat dijadikan sebagai aturan untuk mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan hidup dengan berpedoman pada Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 Tentang Pengelolaan dan Perlindungan Lingkungan Hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hukum lingkungan hidup, bentuk penegakan hukum terhadap permasalahan lingkungan hidup kasus kebakaran hutan, dan pentingnya penegakan hukum untuk mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif. Hasil dari penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa saat ini hukum lingkungan hidup masih dirasa lemah dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi khususnya kebakaran hutan di Indonesia. Penyebab tidak optimalnya hukum lingkungan karena kurangnya bentuk penegakan hukum yang tegas dan nyata. Untuk itulah pentingnya penegakan hukum harus terus ditegakkan demi mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Adanya penegakan hukum yang kuat dapat memberikan efek jera terhadap pelaku pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan hidup sebagai upaya untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat demi terciptanya pembangunan berkelanjutan untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: kebakaran hutan; lingkungan hidup; pembangunan berkelanjutan; penegakan hukum. ABSTRACT Pollution and environmental damage in forest fires in Indonesia is a serious problem. Therefore there is a need for law enforcement efforts that have an important role. Law enforcement can be used as a rule to overcome environmental problems based on Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Management and Protection. This study aims to analyze environmental law, the form of law enforcement on environmental problems in the case of forest fires, and the importance of law enforcement to achieve sustainable development. The method used in writing this article is the normative juridical approach. The results of the study can be said that currently the environmental law is still felt weak in overcoming various environmental problems that occur especially forest fires in Indonesia. The cause of environmental law is not optimal due to lack of strict and real forms of law enforcement. For this reason the importance of law enforcement must continue to be upheld in order to realize sustainable development. The existence of strong law enforcement can provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators of pollution and environmental damage as an effort to prosper the community for the creation of sustainable development for a better life. Abstract

Voter participation in general elections is one of the challenges for general election organizers. Various attempts were made to increase voter participation in every general election. This study aims to identify the role of community-based democracy volunteers in increasing the voter participation, analyzing the increase in voter participation, and analyzing the obstacles that affect the implementation of communitybased democracy volunteer activities in 2019 in Pekalongan City. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach case study toward The General Elections Commission of Pekalongan City. The results suggested that the role of community-based democracy volunteers in increasing voter participation was manifested through the socialization of elections to the community, considering the large number of communities in Pekalongan and the members who were also voters in the 2019 election. The socialization carried out by community-based democracy volunteers in Pekalongan greatly influenced the increase in voter turnout in the 2019 elections which reached 84%. The obstacles occurred during socialization by community-based democracy volunteers could be properly resolved. Community-based democracy volunteers have a very important role in increasing voter participation in elections through socialization activities carried out.

Abstract

The future of Indonesian diversity is influenced partly by educational design and policy. In that sense, this study aims to analyze the actual and potential impacts of Kampus Merdeka's educational policy in strengthening multicultural encounters. Based on a specific context of Yogyakarta State University or Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Indonesia, this study used the qualitative method to reveal the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)/Freedom of Learning Kampus Merdeka program in providing both actual and potential multicultural encounters, particularly in the Faculty of Social Sciences. The determination of research subjects was combining purposive and snowball sampling. The data analysis technique utilized an inductive approach for qualitative data analysis. The stages of data analysis consisted of data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification, while validity checking employed triangulation. The study concludes that the MBKM program provides an experience and a cross-ethnic encountering spaces for students to share each other's diversity of identities. The encounters are through the three-semester learning rights program outside the study program. Cross-identity encounter in the MBKM program also allows students to combine aspects of concern for structural and cultural issues through a derivative program of three-semester learning rights outside the study program. The actual impacts of the MBKM program include providing spaces of strengthening multiculturalism, through students-exchanges, Center of Excellence (CoE) facilitation, and equal education for all. In addition, the needed regulations have been issued to provide the potential impacts to optimize for multicultural encounters through student exchanges, especially intercultural understanding or multicultural collaboration programs.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the causes of the implementation of online learning, which requires students to be more active in cyberspace by relying on digital platforms with features that support the smooth online learning process. In addition to the implementation of online learning, students also collect assignments and submit them online and upload them on each student's social media. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the learning method by giving assignments through social media. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. The informants in this study were students in the Pancasila Course. The results showed that three social media were agreed to be a place to upload assignments given by lecturers such as social media Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Giving assignments that will be uploaded on social media provides its own creativity for students. With the independent task of finding information in the surrounding environment, students are active and enthusiastic in learning directly from the natural surroundings and more creative in using social media for learning purposes.

Abstract

Human rights education (HRE) has been shown to be an effective tool in combating bullying in schools. This study aims to explore the integration of HRE into school curricula across cultures and its impact on bullying behavior. Through case studies in several countries, including Indonesia, the United States, and Finland, the study found that a human rights-based approach not only increases students’ awareness of their rights and those of others, but also creates a safer and more inclusive school environment. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in formulating effective strategies to reduce bullying in schools.
