Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory for geometric transformation material on the topic of rotation using the context of batik motifs and the Ferris wheel game. The research method used is design research. The learning approach used is Realistic Mathematics Education Indonesia (RME). Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) was developed from learning activities using the context of batik motifs and the Ferris wheel game. The research subjects were three students of class IX SMPN 7 Bukittinggi. Theoretical development was carried out through designing learning activities with HLT design at the preliminary stage, carrying out one to one activities in teaching experiments and retrospective analysis. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. After the observations were made, the results of the LKPD work were collected which were given to students, interviewed students. The results obtained from the interview process, students can use the HLT design that was developed because it has a systematic guide sequence to teach the topic of geometric transformation about rotation in the one to one implementation. what is predicted and what is anticipated. So the results of the HLT design for geometric transformation materials on the topic of rotation using the context of batik motifs and the Ferris wheel game are obtained.Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan Hypothetical Learning Trajectory materi transformasi geometri pada topik rotasi menggunakan konteks motif batik dan permainan bianglala. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design research Pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Realisticcs Mathematics Education Indonesia (RME). Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) dikembangkan dari aktivitas pembelajaran menggunakan konteks motif batik dan permainan bianglala. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga peserta didik kelas IX SMPN 7 Bukittinggi, Pengembangan secara teoritis dilaksanakan melalui perancangan aktivitas pembelajaran dengan desain HLT pada tahap preliminary, melaksanakan kegiatan one to one pada teaching experiment dan restrospective analysis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah observasi dilakukan maka dikumpulkan hasil pengerjaan LKPD yang diberikan pada peserta didik, mewawancarai peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh proses wawancara, peserta didik dapat menggunakan desain HLT yang dikembangkan karena memiliki urutan panduan yang sistematis untuk mengajarkan topik transformasi geometri tentang Rotasi pada  pelaksanaan one to one menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konteks motif batik dan permainan bianglala pada desain HLT transformasi geometri tentang Rotasi sesuai antara apa yang diprediksi dan antipasi yang dilakukan. Jadi  diperoleh hasil rancangan HLT materi transformasi geometri pada topik rotasi menggunakan konteks motif batik dan permainan bianglala.

Abstract

Abstract – Stable matching is one of the topics in graph theory, as an application of weighted bipartite graph.On completion of the process of stable matching is used an algorithm is called Gale-Shapley algorithm. To find the stable matching in research, to analyzed stable matching in any weighted bipartite graph  with  and , any weighted complete bipartite graph  with  and , as well as also example of the application of stable matching using Gale-Shapley algorithm. Research purposes to determine stable matching in weighted bipartite graph using Gale-Shapley algoritm. The results of this research is using step by step Gale-Shapley algoritm untill get stable matching. Stable matching is only obtained on arbitrary any weighted bipartite graph  with  and any weighted complete bipartite graph  with . In any weighted bipartite graph  with  and any weighted complete bipartite graph  with , obtained maximum matching. Abstract

Abstract – Image segmentation is the process of separating the object from the background or of other objects that are not a concern, so the object can be processed for the other purposes. Along with the development of technology in digital image processing application, the segmentation process becomes increasingly necessary. The results of the segmentation must be accurate so that any error does not happen in the interpretation of information from an image. This article discussed the application of the minimum spanning tree on a graph in a segment of an image. This method is able to separate an object from the background so that it produces binary image, which is in this case, the object that being the focus is set in white, while the background is black or otherwise. Abstract

Abstract – Finding maximal clique is a problem to get a clique with the maximum number of points on a graph, where the selected points are the points that are connected to each other. Finding maximal clique in a graph would be easier if using an algorithm. One of algorithms that can be used to determine the maximal clique is clique algorithm. However, the clique algorithm still has a weakness that the process is a relatively long process because it has two procedures. Therefore, in this study a modification to this algorithm. An algorithm not only must be correct, but also must be efficient. The efficiency of an algorithm is measured from the execution time of the algorithm and the space of memory that is required to run it. After modification is done to clique algoritma, the time of complexity asymptotic algorithm gained is .

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is sweeping the entire world, including Indonesia, which has resulted in changes to the education system. Face-to-face learning system turns into online learning. Teachers are asked to be creative in using online learning media to achieve learning objectives, one of which is YouTube. This study aimed to analyze the use of YouTube as a medium for learning mathematics during the Covid-19 period. This research is a descriptive study through observation and interviews with teachers and students. The research instrument used student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, and interview guides. The study results were obtained through descriptive analysis and show that YouTube has significant benefits as a medium for learning mathematics and as the best information seeker during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

It is necessary to provide ebooks as textbooks for the Introduction to Accounting course which is a learning medium to accommodate the diverse characteristics of students and is equipped with cases according to students' real lives in order to optimize their Critical Thinking. So that research was carried out in 2021, which produced an ebook with Flipbook Maker Based on E_Newspaper Literacy in Optimizing Critical Thinking for students in Higher Education which is valid and practical in the Introduction to Accounting course. To continue the 2021 research phase, it is necessary to carry out research in 2022 as a follow-up stage, namely the Assessment Phase, which is the stage of implementation and evaluation of the Ebook with Flipbook Maker that has been produced. Research activities in 2022 are assessing the success of using ebooks with E_Newspaper Literacy-based Flipbook Maker in improving students' critical thinking through action research. This classroom action research aims to implement an Ebook using a Flipbook Maker Based on E_Newspaper Literacy through the Case Method in an Introduction to Accounting class with 25 students. The successful use of Ebooks can be seen from the achievement of students' critical thinking skills which have exceeded the set target of ≥ 60%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision and work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of West Sumatra Province. This type of research is an associative descriptive study. The sampling technique used in this study was a saturated sample technique with a sample of 89 employees. The data analysis technique used in this research is path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that work discipline as an intervening variable does not succeed in mediating the supervisory relationship as an exogenous variable on employee performance as an endogenous variable. In more detail, it can be concluded that: (1) the supervision of the leadership affects the work discipline of the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of West Sumatra Province. This means that the better the supervision carried out by the leadership, the higher the work discipline of employees will be, and vice versa, (2) the supervision of the leadership affects the performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of West Sumatra Province. This means that the better the supervision carried out by the leadership, the higher the performance produced by the employees, and vice versa. (3) Work discipline affects the performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of West Sumatra Province. This means that the better the employee's work discipline, the higher the employee's performance will be, and vice versa..Keywords: supervision, work discipline, employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning design for flat-sided geometry based on Rejang Lebong ethnomathematics to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills that are valid, practical, and effective. It is motivated by the low ability to solve students’ mathematical problems. Mathematics learning carried out in schools should involve students actively. The research procedure is guided by the Plomp development design. The development model studied by Plomp is the initial investigation, development, prototyping, and research phases. In the initial investigation phase, the implementation of needs, curriculum, concept, and student analyses was implemented. In the prototype development phase, formative evaluation consists of self-evaluation, one-on-one evaluation, one-on-one evaluation, small group evaluation, and testing. Meanwhile, at the time of its application, it was tested on students of class VIII SMP to see the learning outcomes of the learning problem-solving abilities. Based on the development that has been carried out, it is obtained that the learning design of flat-sided geometry based on the Rejang Lebong ethnomathematics in the form of HLT, teacher's books, and books for class VIII SMP students are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to examine the impact of the problem-based learning (PBL) approach on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the subject of Social Science. The study employed a quasi-experimental design and targeted all seventh-grade students at SMPN 03 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman. Purposive sampling was utilized to select two classes, utilizing class VII.4 as the experimental group and class VII.5 as the control group, each containing 32 students. The PBL model was employed in the experimental group through instructional videos, while direct observation assignments were used in the control group. The findings demonstrated that the PBL model significantly enhanced the learning outcomes of students in the experimental group, thereby validating the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Abstract : Implementation of Problem Based Learning Model in Crafts and Creative Products Subject. The world of education currently requires innovative learning models, one of which is the Problem Based Learning model. This research is action research which aims to: 1) Find out whether the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes. 2) Knowing whether the implementation of the PBL model can increase student learning participation. 3) Knowing of the implementation of the PBL model can improve the ability to convey ideas. The research subjects were XI grade students in the subject of Crafts and Creative Products at SMK 1 Padang Panjang. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation/ evaluation, and reflection by implementing the Problem Based Learning model. This research resulted in the implementation of Problem Based Learning  which has an effect on increasing learning outcomes, student participation, and the ability to giving ideas. The implementation of the PBL  model is effectively applied by teachers in learning that aims to improve student learning experiences. Suggestions for the future so that teachers can use a more varied learning model.Keyword : Problem Based Learning, Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Action Research. Abstrak : Penerapan Model Pembalajaran Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran Parakarya dan Produk Kreatif. Dunia pendidikan saat ini memerlukan model pembelajaran yang inovatif salah satunya model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk : 1) Mengidentifikasi  implementasi model pembelajaran PBL apakah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, partisipasi belajar, dan kemampuan menyampaikan ide/ gagasan siswa, . Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Prakarya dan Produk Kreatif di SMK 1 Padang Panjang.  Penerapan PBL ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/ evaluasi, dan refleksi dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran PBL. Penelitian ini menghasilkan penerapan pembelajaran PBL berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, partisipasi siswa, dan kemampuan menyampaikan ide/ gagasan. Sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran PBL efektif diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran yang betujuan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa. Saran untuk kedepannya agar guru dapat menemukan, mengembangkan dan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang lebih variatif.Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Kewirausahaan, Kreatifitas, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas
