Abstract

This study aims to identify how digital communication using Twitter affects people's perceptions of early marriage in Tangerang Regency. For this quantitative research, purposive sampling method was used to select a sample from a population of active Twitter users. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and questionnaires, which were then analyzed using various statistical analysis techniques. The research shows that digital communication significantly influences people's opinions about early marriage; information shared on Twitter has the ability to change people's opinions. This research is expected to help relevant parties create better communication strategies to address the issue of early marriage.

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the cities in Indonesia with the highest population density is Jakarta. Congestion is considered a big problem that can be solved through an integrated transport system. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the implementation of Jak Lingko on the willingness of DKI Jakarta residents to use public transportation. The random sample used in this research methodology was quantitative and descriptive. Jak Lingko users in 2022 constitute the sample of this study, which includes a total of 295 respondents. The results showed a good and substantial relationship between convenience, benefits, and interest in using Jak Lingko transit in DKI Jakarta. The findings of this study can be a guide for the government in advancing the mobility of public transportation facilities and infrastructure in DKI Jakarta. ABSTRAK Salah satu kota di Indonesia dengan kepadatan penduduk tertinggi adalah Jakarta. Kemacetan dianggap sebagai masalah utama, yang dapat diselesaikan melalui sistem transportasi terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan Jak Lingko terhadap kesediaan warga DKI Jakarta menggunakan angkutan umum. Sampel acak digunakan dalam metodologi penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Pengguna Jak Lingko pada tahun 2022 merupakan sampel penelitian ini, yang mencakup total 295 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang baik dan substansial antara kemudahan, manfaat, dan minat penggunaan Jak Lingko transit di DKI Jakarta. Temuan-temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi pemerintah dalam memajukan mobilitas sarana dan prasarana transportasi publik di DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

Naturalisasi pemain sepak bola oleh PSSI telah menimbulkan beragam opini publik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap kebijakan tersebut serta dampaknya terhadap prestasi Tim Nasional Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring kepada 300 responden memiliki minat pada sepak bola nasional. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan data sekunder yang relevan untuk memperkuat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mendukung kebijakan naturalisasi, terutama karena dianggap mampu meningkatkan pengalaman dan daya saing internasional Timnas. Namun, terdapat kritik terkait potensi pengurangan kesempatan bagi pemain lokal. Meskipun demikian, opini publik cenderung terpolarisasi antara kebutuhan jangka pendek dan pembangunan jangka panjang dalam sepak bola nasional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan strategis bagi PSSI dalam mengevaluasi kebijakan naturalisasi agar lebih sejalan dengan harapan masyarakat, sembari tetap memperhatikan pengembangan pemain lokal untuk keberlanjutan prestasi Timnas Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh komunikasi persuasif di Instagram @umt.indonesia terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan calon mahasiswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Tangerang. Akun Instagram @umt.indonesia, milik Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT), menjadi salah satu sarana utama untuk mempromosikan citra institusi, program studi, serta keunggulan kampus kepada calon mahasiswa di Kota Tangerang. Melalui konten yang informatif, persuasif, dan terstruktur, akun ini diharapkan dapat membangun daya tarik dan keyakinan calon mahasiswa untuk memilih UMT sebagai tempat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis data dari 350 responden. Penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konten persuasif di Instagram dengan keputusan calon mahasiswa untuk mendaftar di Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). Faktor-faktor seperti pengaruh teman sebaya, reputasi universitas, dan kualitas program juga ditemukan mempengaruhi pilihan siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif, terutama melalui platform media sosial seperti Instagram, memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk persepsi siswa dan pada akhirnya keputusan pendaftaran mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse Anies Baswedan's political leadership during his tenure as Governor of Jakarta Province through Instagram in 2021-2022. The focus of this research is the Theory of Political Leadership proposed by Andrew Heywood (2015): leadership as (1) Behaviour patterns, (2) Personal qualities, and (3) Political values. This article uses qualitative research methods and descriptive analysis approaches conducted using NVivo 12 Plus software. The results of this study revealed that Anies Baswedan's political leadership through Instagram is highly focused on showing performance that describes personal qualities in carrying out duties as Governor of Jakarta Province. Anies Baswedan's political leadership has also been characterised by numerous initiatives in the social and infrastructure sector that Anies Baswedan has fulfilled over the past year (2021-2022). Anies Baswedan was also very active in using social media platforms such as Instagram during his time as Governor to convey some of his political leadership activities such as informing work programs, political branding, political communication, success in leading the capital, togetherness with family, citizens, and political leaders of Indonesia and even the world.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of social media usage intensity on consumerism levels among adolescents in Tangerang. With approximately 99% of teenagers aged 13-18 actively engaging on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, the research highlights both positive and negative consequences. Social media enhances connectivity and provides easy access to information, yet it also exposes youth to risks such as cyberbullying, unrealistic beauty standards, and addiction. The findings indicate a significant correlation between high social media usage and increased consumer behavior, driven by targeted advertising and influencer culture. This underscores the necessity for financial literacy and responsible social media practices among adolescents to mitigate adverse effects while maximizing benefits. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a correlational design to analyze data collected from 400 respondents through questionnaires. Results demonstrate a strong positive correlation between social media usage and consumerism, suggesting that increased exposure to marketing content influences adolescents' purchasing decisions. By addressing the psychological implications of social media on youth, this research contributes to understanding the broader societal impacts of digital engagement on consumer behavior. Ultimately, the study advocates for guidance from parents and educators to foster healthier online habits among adolescents, ensuring that social media serves as a tool for positive development rather than a catalyst for detrimental consumerist tendencies.

Abstract

Plastic waste in school environments is not just a matter of cleanliness, but also a reflection of how we educate children to care for and take responsibility for the environment from an early age. In one of Indonesia's major urban areas, schools play an important role as learning spaces and places for instilling sustainable living values. Through the Adiwiyata program and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, children are encouraged to learn while taking action to manage waste, maintain cleanliness, and understand the impact of their choices on the environment. This study is important to assess how far these efforts have progressed, what has been successful, and what challenges still need to be addressed collectively. This research aims to examine how cross-sector collaboration between the government, schools, communities, businesses, and the media plays a role in plastic waste management at one of Indonesia's senior high schools. Using a qualitative approach and case studies, data was collected through interviews with the Tangerang Selatan Environmental Agency (2 individuals), the Community (2 individuals), students (20 individuals), and teachers (3 individuals). The results of the study show that the active involvement of all parties not only fosters an environmental culture in schools but also provides students with opportunities to act as agents of change. They learn to sort, process, and creatively address environmental issues. However, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, uneven distribution of roles among institutions, and weak integration of programs into the curriculum still need to be addressed. The implications of these findings suggest that consistent active involvement and commitment from all parties can lead to improved plastic waste management in schools, supported by adequate policies and teacher training in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the readiness of digital infrastructure and cybersecurity in supporting the digital transformation of public services in Tangerang City, especially the Tangerang LIVE application. The application is designed to integrate various public services in one digital platform, but data shows a decline in the use of features by the public. This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital public services. The results of the study show that cybersecurity has a greater influence in building public trust in digital public service applications compared to digital infrastructure. While digital infrastructure is important to support accessibility and efficiency, security factors including awareness, system readiness, and threat resilience play a greater role in ensuring sustainability and user trust. Therefore, the simultaneous strengthening of these two factors is critical to ensuring the successful digital transformation of safe, efficient, and reliable public services

Abstract

Technological developments in the era of digitalization have brought major changes to the needs of the community, especially in Tangerang City, including electronic-based community services (E-Service), which continue to increase. Therefore, the Tangerang City government created an application called Tangerang Live to help the government respond to suggestions and input from the public. In this research, the author applies quantitative research methods by randomly collecting samples from the total population of Tangerang Live application users of 546,111 users in 2021, then carrying out calculations using the Slovin formula to get the number of samples used in this research to be 400 users. Data collection in this research uses the relationship between the E-Service and community satisfaction variables. This research aims to prove the influence that occurs between these two variables. The 28 questionnaire statements were declared valid and reliable because the calculated r value and reliability value were greater than the table r value. The hypothesis in this research is proven that there is a positive and significant relationship between E-Service and community satisfaction. The conclusion of this research states that the better the quality of E-Service in the Tangerang Live application, the more substantial jurisdiction it will have on the level of satisfaction of the people who use the Tangerang Live application.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam tata kelola pemerintahan mendorong kota-kota untuk mengadopsi model Smart City guna mempercepat layanan publik yang efektif, efisien, dan transparan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Pemerintah Kota Tangerang dalam penerapan Aplikasi Tangerang LIVE sebagai strategi pengembangan Smart City. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pemangku kebijakan di Diskominfo Kota Tangerang dan pengguna aplikasi, dilengkapi studi dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan Aplikasi Tangerang LIVE berkontribusi pada percepatan layanan publik dan praktik e-Government, namun masih dihadapkan pada kendala komunikasi kebijakan, keterbatasan infrastruktur dan anggaran, kesenjangan literasi digital, serta kebutuhan penguatan koordinasi antar-OPD dan konsistensi prosedur birokratis. Implikasi penelitian menegaskan pentingnya orkestrasi kebijakan yang terintegrasi, penguatan kapasitas SDM, perluasan sosialisasi berbasis inklusi digital, serta kolaborasi lintas pemangku kepentingan untuk memaksimalkan manfaat Smart City bagi warga.
