Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of organizational culture, organizational climate, and motivation on employee performance through the literature review method. The results show that a strong organizational culture (results-oriented, collaboration, innovation) and a conducive organizational climate (open communication, management support, reward system) have a significant effect on improving performance. Work motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic) also proved to be a key factor, both as a direct influence and as an intervening variable. The findings reveal that organizational culture and climate not only have a direct impact on performance, but also indirectly through motivation. The practical implication is that organizations need to build a clear culture, strengthen the positive work climate, and design holistic motivation programs. The role of leaders as role models and HR policies that focus on employee development are also supporting factors.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah dan menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Wilss Indo Stevedore. Yang dimana pada seluruh karyawan berjumlah sebanyak 37 orang yang dijadikan sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini. Karena jumlah populasi tergolong kecil dan dapat dijangkau secara keseluruhan, maka digunakan teknik sampling sensus atau sampel jenuh. Adapun dari penelitian ini yang diterapkan penggunaan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif., dengan alat analisis berupa analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi dengan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengisyaratkan bahwa implementasi budaya organisasi yang efektif mencakup nilai-nilai inti perusahaan, norma kerja, serta kebiasaan yang menunjang produktivitas dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Dengan adanya budaya organisasi yang kuat terbukti mampu mendukung terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang positif, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan motivasi, loyalitas, serta rasa tanggung jawab karyawan terhadap tugas-tugas yang diemban dan sasaran perusahaan yang ingin dicapai. Lebih jauh, budaya kerja yang mendukung inovasi serta pengembangan kompetensi individu juga memberikan kontribusi dalam membangun kepercayaan diri, keberanian dalam mengambil inisiatif, serta kreativitas dalam menghadapi dinamika pekerjaan. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peran manajemen sangat krusial dalam membentuk dan mempertahankan budaya organisasi yang positif. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui kepemimpinan yang inspiratif, program pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, komunikasi yang transparan, serta sistem penghargaan yang adil dan memotivasi. Upaya-upaya tersebut diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kinerja individu dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan knowledge sharing sebagai variabel mediasi pada PT Foliper Agro Chemical. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap knowledge sharing, serta knowledge sharing berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, knowledge sharing terbukti memediasi secara signifikan hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya menciptakan budaya organisasi yang kuat dan gaya kepemimpinan yang inspiratif untuk mendorong praktik berbagi pengetahuan dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja individu di lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                                                                                                            Kehadiran teknologi bagi UMKM bagai 2 sisi mata uang, satu sisi memberikan peluang, satu sisi mendatangkan tantangan. Salah satu tantangannya adalah maraknya terjadi penipuan, peretasan dan malware secara online dengan sasaran UMKM. Lemahnya pengetahuan akan hadirnya kejahatan siber dan kurangnya alokasi anggaran untuk mengatasi terjadinya kejahatan siber menjadi penyebab banyaknya korban kejahatan dari kalangan UMKM. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dipandang perlu untuk mengadakan edukasi pada para pelaku usaha berkala UMKM agar mereka dapat lebih fokus dan meningkatkan kewaspadaan dalam menjalankan bisnis. Edukasi dikemas  dalam bentuk Talkshow  secara hybrid dengan mitra yang disasar adalah 65 UMKM di Kota Surabaya dan mahasiswa yang sedang menjalankan usaha. Tim pengabdian masyarakat terdiri dari 10 orang dosen Departemen Manajemen dan 24 orang mahasiswa Magister Manajemen FEB Universitas Airlangga.  Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakt ini terlaksana sesuai dengan tahapan yang direncanakan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi serta tindak lanjut. Metode yang dilakukan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab dan agar materi ini dapat didengarkan kembali oleh peserta dan disebarluaskan pada UMKM lain, maka keseluruhan materi dikemas dalam 10 video yang diunggah pada kanal Youtube.  Hasil yang dicapai adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang karakteristik, bentuk, cara mengenali, berikut mitigasi penanganan cyber crime yang diketahui dengan peningkatan prosentasi jawaban benar dari soal pre-test dan post-test . Peserta juga  antusias mengikuti kegiatan hingga akhir, aktif berpartisipasi dalam mengajukan pertanyaan. Kata kunci: kejahatan; siber; talkshow; UMKM; waspada ABSTRACTThe presence of technology for MSMEs is like 2 sides of a coin, one side provides opportunities, one side brings challenges. One of the challenges is the rise of online fraud, hacking and malware targeting MSMEs. The lack of knowledge of the presence of cybercrime and the lack of budget allocation to overcome the occurrence of cybercrime are the causes of the many victims of crime from MSMEs. Based on this, it is deemed important to educate MSMEs periodically so that they can focus and increase vigilance in running their business. Education is packaged in the form of a hybrid Talkshow with the targeted partners being 65 MSMEs in Surabaya City. The community service team consisted of 10 lecturers from the Department of Management and 24 Magister of Management students from FEB Universitas Airlangga. The methods used were lectures, questions and answers and so that this material could be listened to again by participants and disseminated to other MSMEs, the entire material was packaged in 10 videos uploaded on the Youtube channel. The results achieved were an increase in participants' knowledge about the characteristics, forms, how to recognize, and mitigation of cyber crime handling, which was known by the increase in the percentage of correct answers from the pre-test and post-test questions. Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to examine the influence of job involvement, job satisfaction, and affective commitment on job-hopping behavior, as well as the moderating effect of alternative employment opportunities on millennial employees. Design/Methods/Approach: With a quantitative approach, this paper involved 175 millennial employees in Indonesia who were determined using purposive sampling techniques and analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM) technique. Findings: The results reveal that job involvement and affective commitment have a positive effect on employee job-hopping behavior so that millennial employees who are fully involved in work and emotionally committed are still doing job hop. Nevertheless, work satisfaction has a detrimental effect on job-hopping activity. The moderating effect of perceived alternative employment opportunities shows insignificant results between affective commitment and job-hopping behavior, meaning that employees' perceptions of getting another job are not affecting their decision to do job-hopping. Originality/Value: This study contributes to existing literature on job hopping behavior by examining the correlation of job involvement, job satisfaction, and affective commitment, using the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Unlike many other studies, this research specifically focuses on millennials, providing a fresh perspective on this well-explored demographic's working behavior. This becomes critical as millennials have become major players in job markets, globally. Practical/Policy implication: Given the results, it is recommended that the organization design practical training and development programs and provide benefits to improve employee welfare. Emotional support from supervisors as well as co-workers is also considered effective in retaining millennial employees in the workplace.

Abstract

Abstract : Organizational culture at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), plays a strategic role in shaping the academic character of its students. This culture encompasses values such as integrity, professionalism, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, which are implemented through various academic and non-academic activities. However, the internalization of this culture faces challenges due to the influence of globalization, digitalization, and educational pragmatism. This research aims to explore the meaning of organizational culture in shaping the academic character of students, using a qualitative phenomenological approach. The results indicate that FEB UNAIR's organizational culture helps build a strong academic identity and prepares students to face the world of work with ethics and social responsibility. These findings underscore the importance of character-building strategies based on a contextual and sustainable institutional culture to create a generation of academics who are intellectually superior, have integrity, and are adaptive to global challenges.Abstrak : Budaya organisasi di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter akademik mahasiswa. Budaya ini mencakup nilai-nilai seperti integritas, profesionalisme, kolaborasi, dan orientasi pada keunggulan, yang diterapkan melalui berbagai aktivitas akademik dan non-akademik. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam proses internalisasi budaya tersebut akibat pengaruh globalisasi, digitalisasi, dan pragmatisme pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna budaya organisasi bagi pembentukan karakter akademik mahasiswa dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi FEB UNAIR membantu membangun identitas akademik yang kokoh serta mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja dengan etika dan tanggung jawab sosial. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi pembinaan karakter berbasis budaya institusional yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan generasi akademisi yang unggul secara intelektual, berintegritas, dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global.

Abstract

Creating Shared Value (CSV) offers a transformative approach to aligning business performance with societal progress. This study examines a CSV initiative by Universitas Airlangga that integrates circular economy principles to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in maggot and oyster mushroom cultivation in Surabaya, Indonesia. Conducted from February to May 2025, the program combined waste-to-resource innovation with community capacity building, directly targeting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on poverty reduction, responsible production, and partnerships. Employing a mixed-method case study and the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework, data were obtained through interviews, field observations, and financial analysis. The program achieved an exceptional SROI ratio of 32.02:1, indicating over thirty-two times the investment’s value returned as social benefits. Key outcomes include income growth, improved waste management, skill enhancement, and stronger community cohesion. This research advances the empirical understanding of CSV–circular economy integration and underscores the pivotal role of higher education institutions in catalyzing local-level social innovation.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya budaya dalam praktik keberlanjutan di berbagai organisasi dan masyarakat. Praktik keberlanjutan yang mencakup pengelolaan sumber daya alam secara bijaksana, pengurangan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, serta penciptaan kesejahteraan sosial dan ekonomi untuk generasi mendatang, semakin penting dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan iklim dan krisis sumber daya alam. Meskipun banyak penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa faktor budaya berperan besar dalam penerimaan praktik keberlanjutan, gap dalam literatur terkait hubungan budaya dan keberlanjutan masih besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai budaya mempengaruhi adopsi dan implementasi praktik keberlanjutan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), dengan memfilter 201 artikel yang relevan, yang kemudian diseleksi menjadi 14 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan fokus penelitian. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa budaya yang mendukung keberlanjutan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan penerapan kebijakan keberlanjutan yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa pengaruh budaya terhadap keberlanjutan dapat mempercepat atau menghambat upaya tersebut tergantung pada nilai-nilai yang dianut, seperti orientasi jangka panjang dan penghargaan terhadap ekologi.

Abstract

The audit profession has been changed by AI, which automates tasks and improves data analysis. The success of AI in auditing depends on auditors' innovation and its impact on performance efficiency. This study investigates the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption on Auditor Performance Efficiency, with Innovation as a mediating variable. While prior research has established the direct impact of AI on efficiency, the mediating mechanism through Innovation remains empirically untested within an integrated framework. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected via an online survey from 185 auditors working in Public Accounting Firms (KAP) in East Java, Indonesia. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that AI Adoption significantly and positively influences both Auditor Performance Efficiency and Innovation. Furthermore, Innovation is also proven to significantly impact Auditor Performance Efficiency. Mediation analysis indicates that Innovation significantly mediates the relationship between AI Adoption and Auditor Performance Efficiency. These results suggest that the effect of AI Adoption on efficiency is not only direct but also substantially occurs through the enhancement of auditors' innovative capabilities. This research underscores the importance of integrating technological investments with the cultivation of an innovation culture within audit firms (KAP). The study contributes recommendations for Public Accounting Firms to optimize AI benefits through sustainable and inclusive innovation across generations.

Abstract

Purpose – The study examines the relationship between green transformational leadership, green training and development, green performance management, green organizational culture, and green social capital in influencing pro-environmental behavior. It explores how perceived government pressure moderates the relationship between green organizational culture and pro-environmental behavior, while also investigating the mediating role of green organizational culture and green social capital in these relationships. Design/methodology/approach – Data were gathered from 210 employees in Indonesia banking industry through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3 was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. Findings – The results show that green transformational leadership, green performance management, and green social capital have a positive and significant impact on proenvironmental behavior. However, green training and development and green organizational culture do not have a significant direct effect. Perceived government pressure is found to positively and significantly moderate the relationship between green organizational culture and pro-environmental behavior. Practical Implications – This study offers practical guidance for organizations seeking to foster a pro-environmental behavior among employees. By strengthening green leadership approaches, practicing green human resource management, and responding to external influences, companies can effectively integrate sustainability into their daily operations and behavior, Fostering sustainable environmental responsibility and active participation from their employees. Social Implications – The study shows that green practices in muman resource management and green transformational leadership are essential in shaping pro-environmental behavior through organizational culture and social capital.
