Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes dan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasy exsperiment dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berjumlah 10 soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda beralasan yang telah diuji validitasnya. Hasil data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji N-gain dan uji statistik. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,60 dalam kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,22 dalam kategori rendah. Sehingga data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil perhitungan uji t dua sampel tidak berkorelasi didapatkan nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 6,797 > 2,045, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak pada taraf signifikansi a = 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a digital pocket book based on ethnoscience in science subject of heat matter and its transfer which is feasible and interesting to use by students in Singkawang City. The method in this research is development research with the ADDIE model research procedure. The sample at the implementation stage consisted of 31 PGSD STKIP Singkawang students and 141 grade V students at three singkawang city public elementary schools. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of interviews, validation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique was in the form of a descriptive analysis of scores obtained from the validation results of experts, practitioners and response questionnaires. The results of the research for each stage obtained that the implentation stage was carried out by small-scale trials on the linguistic aspect reached 3.31, large-scale trials reached 3.46. For the material and graphic aspects of the small-scale trial, each had a value of 3.23 and 3.22 in the attractive criteria. Whereas in the large-scale trial each had a value of 3.33 and 3.39 in the very attractive category. It means that ethnosaians-based digital pocketbooks are in general easy to understand and interesting to use because they have a new appearance concept that is coherently integrated with local culture and design according to development.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemandirian belajar siswa di kelas VI-B SDN 12 Singkawang. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang siswa kelas VI-B SDN 12 Singkawang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VI SDN 12 Singkawang. Instrumen pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini berupa angket dan wawancara sesuai dengan indikator kemandirian belajar yang telah diujikan dengan validitas isi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat mandiri pada saat belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan rata-rata 72,5. Adapun siswa percaya diri pada saat belajar mata pelajaran IPS mempunyai rata-rata 79 dengan kategori sangat mandiri, tanggung jawab pada saat belajar mata pelajaran IPS mempunyai rata-rata 81 dengan kategori sangat mandiri, displin pada saat belajar mata pelajaran IPS mempunyai rata-rata 85 dengan kategori sangat mandiri dan inisiatif pada saat belajar mata pelajaran IPS mempunyai rata-rata 64 dengan kategori mandiri.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental, jumlah sampel masing- masing kelompok sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah intrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 5 soal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 09 Danau Peradah. Uji persyaratan analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas uji homogenitas dan effect size, sehingga analisa perbandingan dapat dilanjutkan dengan statistik parametrik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa nilai tℎitung = 2,031 dan nilai ttabel = 2,021 untuk α = 5% dan dk = 38, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif antara siswa yang diterapkan media pembelajaran poster dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaan langsung. Hasil uji effect size menunjukan bahwa es = 1,195, yang berarti pengguanan model pembelajaran think talk write berbantuan media poster berpengaruh tinggi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

The partners of this service activity are teachers throughout West Kalimantan with partner problems, namely a decrease in the quality of learning in Merdeka Learning. Quality learning cannot be separated from the ability of teachers as planners, implementers, facilitators, and evaluators. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of learning is to carry out lesson study. The purpose of this Community Service activity is the formation of a learning community that consistently makes self-improvement in the learning process to reduce the decline in learning outcomes in Merdeka Learning. The method of implementing this  activity is mentoring lesson study to teachers throughout West Kalimantan. The implementation follows the method of implementing lesson study, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Regarding the usefulness of the activity to the 300 participants, data obtained from 300 people felt that this activity was very useful or equivalent to 100% of the number of participants. This shows that the activity of "Lesson Study as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Learning in Independent Learning" has provided positive benefits for participants and its benefits have been felt. The supporting factor for this activity is the enthusiasm of teachers who take part in the service program activities carried out. The inhibiting factor of service activities is the limited time for carrying out activities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of fractional wheel props on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on equivalent fraction material. This research was conducted at SDN 13 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with the Quasi Experimental Design method with the research design used in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design.: Singkawang. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN 13 Singkawang. The research sample was taken by total sampling technique. After taking the sample, the experimental class was selected as the IVA class, namely the Experiment class using the fractional wheel props and the control class IVB with conventional learning. The results of this study conclude that: 1) There are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between students who take part in learning using the Fractional Wheel props and students who follow conventional learning. 2) The effectiveness of the use of the Fractional Wheel props on the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Singkawang was obtained at 0.99 in the high category. 3) Student learning activities using the Wheel of Fractions props in class IV SDN 13 Singkawang obtained an active percentage of 72% and classified as active

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to describe students' visual learning styles in terms of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of students in science class V students; 2) to describe the factors that influence the visual learning style of fifth grade students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 6 grade V students at SDN 14 Singkawang, consisting of 2 students in the high category, 2 students in the medium category and 2 students in the low category. Data collection techniques in this study are measurement techniques, indirect communication techniques and direct communication techniques. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that students with high cognitive learning outcomes consist of 2 students who have high and low visual learning styles. Students with medium cognitive learning outcomes consist of 2 students who have moderate and high visual learning styles. In addition, students with low cognitive learning outcomes consisted of 2 students who had low and moderate visual learning styles. Factors that influence students' visual learning styles consist of 4; 1) genetic factors, 2) intelligence factors, 3) sensory factors and environmental factors.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Pada penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian asosiatif yaitu hubungan antara variabel bebas dan terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV A, IV B, dan IV C SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV A. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa: (1) Efikasi diri siswa tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 61,17; (2) Hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 65,47; (3) Terdapat hubungan efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 88 Singkawang dengan koefisien determinan sebesar 34,81%, t_hitung sebesar 3,58 dan nilai koefisien korelasi (r_s) 0,59. Kata kunci: efikasi diri; hasil belajar ranah kognitif ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the relationship between self-efficacy and learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with associative research design, namely the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The population in this study were all grade IV A students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study concluded that: (1) There was a positive relationship between self-efficacy and learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang, based on the results of self-efficacy calculations, it was classified as moderate with an overall average of 61.17; (2) There are learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang; (3) There is a relationship between self-efficacy and cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang with a determinant coefficient of 34.81%, t_count of 3.58 and the value of the correlation coefficient (r_s) of 0.59. Keywords: self-efficacy; cognitive domain learning outcomes

Abstract

This article discusses research on the effect of the SFE learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills related to heat material. the researcher used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was class XI IPA 3 with 28 students as the control class and class XI IPA 4 with 28 students as the experimental class. in one Singkawang State High School with a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling technique. After analysis, it is known that the data obtained is homogeneous and normally distributed. So the researchers used a parametric statistical test, namely the t-test. From the calculation results, the data obtained is greater than 6.25 > 1.69, then Ha is accepted at the 5% significance threshold and H0 is rejected, which means that the SFE learning model has an impact on students' critical thinking on heat material

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the mind mapping learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the science subject of sound material. The results of this study indicate that; (1) There is an effect of student cognitive learning outcomes between the class that is given the mind mapping learning model and the class that is given direct learning on sound science subjects, the results of the hypothesis test show that the value of t_(count = ) 3.8330 t_(table = ) 1.6786 for = 5% and dk = 46. (2) Mind mapping learning model has a high influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes on sound material, the result of calculating the effect size in this study is E_s=1.00 0.8 are high criteria. (3) There is a positive response to the mind mapping learning model, the results of the calculation of the percentage of student responses show an average of 84% in the very good category. Thus it can be concluded that the mind mapping learning model can affect students' cognitive learning outcomes and make it easier for students to understand the material.
