Abstract

This study aims to reveal the importance of learning and plunging into the values of the Qur'an in this case is the Arabic language. The Qur'an came down to this face in order to decide all cases that were deviant due to human activities at that time which were far from the values of failure since the beginning of the dissolution of the prophetic period of Prophet Ibrahim which was fairly long at that time, as a result the descent of Kalamullah created a significant influence. and we can feel the benefits until now. As a way of life, the Qur'an is the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad. Reading it is worship, learning and teaching it makes us the best human beings. The results showed that researchers by mental health experts stated that studying the Qur'an and the values contained in it can increase intelligence. For this reason, Arabic also plays an important role in the process of encouraging as an effort to maximize the value of worship in the Qur'an itself. As mentioned in the editorial of the Qur'an that "Learn Arabic so that you understand". In the verse it is not stated that only those who read and memorize will understand but the meaning of the word understand is broad in scope. And learning Arabic is one indicator of that understanding.

Abstract

Methylene blue dye is widely used in various industries, but improper disposal can severely harm aquatic ecosystems. Zinc oxide (ZnO), a well-known semiconductor, is frequently employed to degrade dye pollutants in aqueous media. This study synthesized ZnO nanoparticles via a precipitation method incorporating a green synthesis approach, utilizing Persea sp (Persea sp.) leaf extract as an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic chemical reagents. Persea sp leaves contain diverse secondary metabolites, including saponins, alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, and phenolics, which act as capping agents during water-based synthesis. Characterization was conducted using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The photocatalytic activity of the ZnO nanoparticles toward methylene blue degradation was evaluated under UV irradiation at time intervals of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 minutes. UV-DRS results indicated a maximum absorption wavelength of 364 nm with a band gap energy of 3.26 eV. XRD analysis confirmed a hexagonal wurtzite structure (JCPDS no. 36-1451) with an average crystallite size of 21.24 nm. SEM imaging revealed a nanospherical morphology with an average particle size of 79.28 nm. The synthesized ZnO nanoparticles achieved 61.77% degradation efficiency for 5 ppm methylene blue. These findings demonstrate that green-synthesized ZnO nanoparticles from Persea sp. leaf have promising potential as sustainable photocatalysts for dye removal, contributing to the development of environmentally friendly wastewater treatment technologies

Abstract

Coffee is an important agricultural commodity with increasing global demand, so optimizing the growth of coffee seedlings, especially during the seedling phase, is crucial to increase productivity. The use of natural plant growth regulators offers an environmentally friendly and economical solution. This study aims to evaluate the effect of natural plant growth regulators from onion extract and bean sprout extract on the growth of robusta coffee seedlings (Coffea canephora L.) during the seedling phase. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three treatments, namely control, onion extract, and bean sprout extract. The parameters measured included plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves for six weeks. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and BNT test at the 5% level. The results showed that both natural plant growth regulators significantly increased the growth of coffee seedlings compared to the control. Bean sprout extract gave the best results for plant height (16.75 cm), while onion extract was superior in increasing stem diameter (4.65 mm) and number of leaves (12.20). Statistical analysis confirmed significant differences between treatments and controls for all parameters. Thus, the use of onion and bean sprout extracts as natural growth regulators has proven effective in increasing the growth of coffee seedlings in the seedling phase, offering an environmentally friendly and economical alternative for optimizing the growth of coffee seedlings.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly influenced social life, including among elementary school students. One of the most prominent phenomena is the increasing use of social media among children. This study aims to examine the influence of social media usage on the manners and ethics of elementary school students, both positively and negatively. The research method used is a literature review, conducted by analyzing relevant studies, articles, and books. The findings reveal that social media can serve as a learning tool, broaden knowledge, and enhance students’ creativity when accompanied by proper guidance from parents and teachers. However, excessive and uncontrolled use may lead to negative impacts, such as reduced empathy, the use of inappropriate language, and weakened face-to-face interactions. Therefore, the active roles of families, schools, and communities are essential in providing supervision and digital literacy education from an early age, so that social media can be utilized positively in shaping well-mannered and ethical behavior in students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the murabahah contract in the financing of Home Ownership Credit (KPR) iB under the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) at PT. Bank Sumut Syariah KCP HM Joni. Often establishes transaction processes that still resemble conventional patterns. There is a lack of costumer understanding regarding the strucrure of the murabahah contract, as well as administrative and technical obstacles that cause the implementation to not fully comply with sharia principles this indicates that, although the contract is labeled as sharia based it’ s implementation still tends to prioritize minimizing risks on the part off Bank Sumut Syariah KCP HM joni. The results indicate that the implementation of the murabahah contract in KPR iB FLPP generally complies with the provisions of the DSN-MUI Fatwa and sharia banking regulations. The process begins with the submission of an application, verification of eligibility, purchase of the house by the bank from the developer, determination of the selling price that includes the bank's profit margin, and signing of the contract between the bank and the customer. However, challenges were identified, including payment delays, limited customer understanding of the murabahah concept, and relatively lengthy administrative procedures. To address these issues, the bank is advised to enhance customer education, expedite administrative processes, and strengthen payment monitoring systems. The findings of this study are expected to provide input for Islamic banking in improving the effectiveness of KPR iB FLPP financing based on the murabahah contract. Abstract

Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in Indonesia. Late detection and delayed treatment contribute significantly to this high mortality rate, as many patients seek medical care only after reaching advanced stages. Early detection through Breast Self Examination (BSE) and timely intervention can improve survival rates and quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the survival duration and influencing factors for breast cancer patients using clinical and genomic data from the METABRIC dataset, encompassing 1.980 primary breast cancer cases. The study employs survival analysis using Kaplan-Meier curves, Log-rank tests, and Cox proportional hazards regression to analyze the data. Results indicate significant differences in survival rates based on type of surgery and chemotherapy, while age at diagnosis shows no significant effect. The Cox proportional hazards model reveals that patients undergoing mastectomy have a 0.725 lower risk of death compared to those not undergoing the procedure, and patients receiving chemotherapy have a 1.869 higher risk of death. The findings underscore the importance of early and appropriate treatment in improving survival outcomes. This study contributes to the understanding of factors influencing breast cancer survival, aiding in better clinical decision-making and patient management strategies.
