Abstract

Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of the horticultural crops that is widely cultivated by farmers because of its great demand by the community, not only in the household but also for industrial purposes and for export abroad. Cayenne pepper contains quite a lot of nutrients and quite a lot of benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on papaya leaves (C. papaya) on the growth of cayenne pepper (C. frutescens). The study used a completely randomized design with three treatments namely liquid organic fertilizer (POC), positive control (K+) and negative control (K-). Each treatment was carried out in quadruples. The results of the ANOVA test with cayenne pepper showed: 1) the average value of plant height was 0.045; 2) the significance value of the number of leaves is 0.038; 3) The significance value is 0.273 for the number of branches. It can be concluded that the application of papaya leaves (POC) has a significant effect on cayenne pepper (C. frutescens) which has a very good value compared to the use of chemical fertilizers (NPK), so it is continued in the Duncan test experiment. The results of the Duncan test for cayenne pepper plant height showed that the POC treatment had a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves compared to the negative control (k-) and positive control (k+). This is due to the addition of organic matter from fermented cow urine and papaya leaves as well as nutrients in the soil, which can be beneficial both for the soil and for plants.

Abstract

Media dalam dunia pendidikan digunakan sebagai alat dan bahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk memberikan informasi dari guru  ke siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, diperoleh data hasil belajar siswa masih rendah yaitu sekitar 40 % masih di bawah KKM. Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes objektif dan dokumentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Media Peta Jelajah Taman Botani. Dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 29 orang. Berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh hasil rata-rata nilai kognitif siswa 87,6 meningkat menjadi 95,9 pada siklus II. Sedangkan hasil nilai ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 96,5% meningkat menjadi 100%  pada siklus II. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran melalui penerapan media Peta Jelajah Taman Botani sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Peta Jelajah, Taman Botani.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Biopesticides are natural pesticides that come from nature such as leaves, roots, stems, and fruit. This research is about the efectiviness of papaya (Carica papaya) biopesticide with cow urine fermentation in sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata), which was conducted in Glagahwero Kalisat, Jl. Mayangan, Desa Glagahwero, Kec. Kalisat, Kab. Jember this study aims to determine the effectiviness of biopesticides on sweet corn (Zea mays L.saccharata). This type of research is experimental. The procedure used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Based on the results of research, the effectiviness of biopesticides using papaya leaf fermentation is not effective due to several factors, namely the season is not right, the planting area is not right, the plant layout is not good, grasshopper pests are difficult to control. Abstract

Sukorambi Botanical Garden is a natural tourist spot for flora and fauna with a land area of ​​about 12 hectares. In this location, there are about 500 types of plants ranging from lower-grade plants to higher-grade plants. The existence of seed plants (Spermatophyta) of habitus tree in the Botanical Garden has been identified, but there are some plants whose species are not yet known. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is a survey method. The research data were analyzed descriptively and identified to the genus level. The results showed that there were 66 genera of seed plants (Spermatophyta) belonging to 30 families. These families are Achariaceae, Anarcadiacea, Annonaceae, Apocynaceae, Araucariaceae, Arecaceae, Bignoniaceae, Burseraceae, Clusiaceae, Ebenaceae, Fabaceae, Gnetaceae, Lamiaceae, Lauraceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Meliaceae, Mimosaceae, Moraceae, Moringaceae, Myristicaceae, Oxalidaceae, Rutaceae, Sapindaceae, Sapotaceae, and Thymelaeaceae. The results of identification can be used as a learning resource to support the Plant Taxonomy course.

Abstract

The world of education in Indonesia always follows the era of development, whereas currently, education follows the digital era where every school requires teachers as educators to develop the learning media used. Learning media is a tool used to improve school learning quality. Supportive learning media allows students to receive material well. This audio-visual learning media research uses the research and development method (Research of Development), the research model used is the Plomp 2013 development model, which includes 3 steps, namely the Analysis stage (Analysis), the Prototype Design and Development stage, and the Evaluation stage, the evaluation stage includes validation of material experts, validation of media experts, and practicality sheets, namely questionnaires given to teachers and students. The results of the research on the development of audio-visual learning media obtained an average score of 84% with the category (very valid) in the validation of material experts, and an average score of 83% with the category (very valid) in the validation of media experts, obtained an average score of 89.3% in the practicality test for teachers with the category very practical, and obtained an average score of 84% in the readability test by students with the category (very practical).

Abstract

Abstract, this research aims to reveal students' cognitive abilities and collaboration skills by studying marine macroinvertebrates at Bama Beach, Baluran National Park, using the RCCDE learning model. The type of research is quasi-experimental, one group design. The independent variable of this research is the RCCDE learning model, and the dependent variables are cognitive ability and collaboration skills. Cognitive ability is measured with a test after the learning activities, using 25 multiple-choice questions, each scoring 4 points for a correct answer and 0 points for an incorrect answer. Collaboration skills are measured using observation, employing an observation sheet adapted from Greenstein, 2012. The data from this research were analyzed using MANOVA with the help of SPSS v25. The results of the simultaneous influence analysis between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills obtained a significance value of 0.000 (>0.05), which means there is a simultaneous influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills. The results of the partial influence analysis between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills obtained a significance value of 0.000 (>0.05). Thus, there is a simultaneous influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills and a partial influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities. There is a partial influence between the RCCDE model on collaborative skills. This research informs that there is a significant influence on the learning of marine macroinvertebrates at Bama Beach, Indonesia, using the RCCDE model on students' cognitive abilities and collaboration skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan hasil belajar dari kelas kontrol dan eksperimen dengan melihat dampak dari penggunaan media jigsaw puzzle berbasis STEM pada materi Sistem Ekskresi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi  eksperimental design. Soal pilihan ganda digunakan sebagai teknik tes, dan sampel terdiri dari 21 siswa dari kelas VIII-A (kelas eksperimen) dan 21 siswa dari kelas VIII-B (kelas kontrol). Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t test yang menunjukkan hasil sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,001 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen melalui media pembelajaran jigsaw puzzle berbasis STEM pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran jigsaw puzzle berbasis STEM dapat menjadi media yang bermanfaat untuk pembelajaran IPA, khususnya pada materi sistem ekskresi yang diajarkan di MTs.

Abstract

Media audio visual merupakan media cetak berbasis visual yang berfungsi menyajikan materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk audio dan gambar dengan ukuran cukup besar yang digantung pada suatu penyangga dengan konten didalamnya dapat berupa audio, gambar, dan teks sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dan kesamaan dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, sehingga dapat menghasilkan kekurangan dan kelebihan dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya.  Penelitian merupakan penelitian Research and Develoment (R&D), menggunakan metode PLOMP yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: 1) Analisis; 2) Desain dan pengembangan prototipe; dan 3) Evaluasi. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan data kuantitatif yang berasal dari lembar validasi dan angket kepraktisan serta data kualitatif yang berupa komentar atau saran. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu validator ahli materi dan ahli media, guru dan 6 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil uji kevalidan dengan presentase rata-rata hasil validasi materi sebesar 80% dengan kategori valid dan presentase rata-rata validasi media 82,5% kategori valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan kepada respon guru dengan presentase rata-rata 90,22% kategori sangat praktis dan presentase rata-rata respon siswa 94,44% kategori sangat praktis dan valid.rdasarkan hasil validasi diatas bahwa audio visual sangat praktis dan dapat digunakan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa audio visual yang dikembangkan sangat praktis dan dapat diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran IPA di jenjang MTs.

Abstract

Tanaman kacang tanah merupakan tanaman yang telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia yang beriklim tropis dan subtropis. Kacang tanah kaya dengan lemak, mengandung protein yang tinggi, zat besi, vitamin E dan kalsium, vitamin B kompleks dan fosforus, vitamin A dan K, lesitin, kolin, dan kalsium. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat penduduk diantaranya rendahnya produksi kacang tanah dikarenakan sistem pertumbuhan kurang baik disebabkan pemupukan yang kurang optimal. Hal itu disebabkan karena mahalnya harga pupuk kimia dan sulit diperoleh. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen (True experiment research) yang bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pupuk bokashi fermentasi feses ayam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 3 kelompok dengan 5 perlakuan, I. Kelompok perlakuan menggunakan pupuk bokashi yang terdiri atas konsentrasi 25%, 50%, dan 75%. II. Kelompok kontrol positif menggunakan pupuk anorganik (NPK). III. Kelompok kontrol negatif tanpa perlakuan. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun yang diamati saat tanaman berumur 7 hst hingga 45 hst. Analisis data penelitian ini diawali dengan uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas. Apabila data homogen dan normal maka data akan diuji dengan statistik parametrik,dan apabila data tidak homogen dan tidak normal maka data harus statistik non parametrik. Hasil uji one way ANOVA pada tanaman kacang tanah (A. hypogaea L.) diperoleh: 1) nilai F hitung sebesar 1,133 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,347 pada tinggi tanaman; 2) nilai F hitung sebesar 0,476 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,753 pada jumlah daun. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk bokashi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah (A. hypogaea L.) sehingga tidak dilanjutkan ke uji Duncan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima, maka dalam hal ini tidak perlu dilanjutkan ke Uji Duncan.

Abstract

Peanuts are rich in fat, contain high protein, iron, vitamin E and calcium, vitamin B complex and phosphorus, vitamins A and K, lecithin, choline and calcium. Problems faced by local communities include low peanut production due to poor growth systems due to less than optimal fertilization. This is because the price of chemical fertilizers is high and difficult to obtain. This type of research is experimental research (true experiment research). This research aims to determine the effect of providing bokashi type organic fertilizer on the productivity of peanut plants. One way ANOVA test results obtained: 1) calculated F value of 4.915 with a significant value of 0.019 for the number of fruits, 2) calculated F value of 4.936 with a significant value of 0.019 for gross weight, 3) calculated F value of 6.149 with a significant value of 0.009 for net weight. Based on these data, it is known that the significant value for the number of fruit is 0.019, the gross weight is 0.019, and the net weight is 0.009, which is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the application of bokashi fertilizer has a real effect on the productivity of peanut plants (A hypogaea L.), this shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, then in this case it is necessary to proceed to the Duncan test.
