Abstract

Etika merupakan salah satu pembahasan penting dalam kajian filsafat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis konten pada sejumlah artikel yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal filsafat di seluruh Indonesia sejak tahun 1995 hingga Oktober 2023, dengan etika sebagai fokus utama penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam enam tahun terakhir, jumlah publikasi yang berfokus pada etika telah meningkat. Di antara publikasi tersebut, penelitian yang paling dominan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Selain itu filsafat agama dan filsafat Yunani, interdispiliner antropologi, ekologi dan politik menjadi kajian yang sering dibahas. Etika lingkungan, etika agama dan etika budaya yang paling banyak dipilih sebagai objek kajian. Pemikiran filsuf Aristoteles dan Immanuel Kant yang sering menjadi rujukan dalam penelitian etika di Indonesia. Berdasarkan temuan studi ini, beberapa rekomendasi yang dapat diajukan untuk penelitian mendatang yang mendasarkan penelitiannya dalam isu-isu etika, di antaranya meningkatkan keragaman jenis penelitian dan memilih teknis analisis data yang lebih tepat

Abstract

Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial strategy for enhancing market competitiveness in Indonesia, particularly in the face of globalization, which requires adaptation and innovation. Through the Thematic Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata-KKN) of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative of Ahmad Dahlan University, students play an active role in supporting MSMEs in Yogyakarta by providing training and mentoring. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by MSMEs and provide solutions through a technology and innovation-based approach. The results of this program show an increase in MSME actors' understanding of digital marketing and the importance of halal certification, which contributes to increasing the competitiveness of their products.Abstrak: Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan strategi penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing pasar di Indonesia, terutama dalam menghadapi globalisasi yang menuntut adanya adaptasi dan inovasi. Melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, mahasiswa berperan aktif dalam mendukung UMKM di Yogyakarta dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi UMKM dan memberikan solusi melalui pendekatan berbasis teknologi dan inovasi. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap pemasaran digital dan pentingnya sertifikasi halal yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan daya saing produknya.

Abstract

Many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face challenges due to incomplete and inaccurate information. The issue is difficulties in planning and providing targeted assistance to RW 2 Rejowinangun. Most MSME owners are not familiar with digital technology and have difficulties in making financial reports. It is necessary to introduce digital marketing and financial reports to reach a wider market and optimize business performance based on accurate financial data. Digital marketing is a marketing strategy that uses digital media and the internet. Meanwhile, financial statements are documents that record and summarize all financial transactions that occur in MSMEs. The method used is in the form of a survey by collecting data on the MSME database and socialization which is carried out by involving the PKK and MSMEs in RW 2 Rejowinangun. Suggestions from the results of the activities that have been carried out are to conduct regular training related to financial literacy and the use of easily accessible financial recording technology as well as training on the use of social media and the creation of marketing content. In addition, the development of an organized MSME database must be continuously updated to make it easier for the government and stakeholders to provide support. Abstrak. Banyak Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) yang menghadapi tantangan akibat informasi yang tidak lengkap dan tidak akurat. Permasalahan tersebut adalah kesulitan dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pemberian bantuan yang tepat sasaran kepada RW 2 Rejowinangun. Sebagian besar pelaku UMKM belum mengenal teknologi digital dan kesulitan dalam membuat laporan keuangan. Perlu adanya pemasaran digital dan laporan keuangan untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas serta mengoptimalkan kinerja usaha yang berbasis pada data keuangan yang akurat. Pemasaran digital merupakan strategi pemasaran yang memanfaatkan media digital dan internet. Sedangkan laporan keuangan merupakan dokumen yang mencatat dan merangkum seluruh transaksi keuangan yang terjadi pada UMKM. Metode yang digunakan berupa survei dengan melakukan pendataan pada database UMKM dan sosialisasi yang dilakukan dengan melibatkan PKK dan UMKM di RW 2 Rejowinangun. Saran dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan adalah melakukan pelatihan secara berkala terkait literasi keuangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi pencatatan keuangan yang mudah diakses serta pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial dan pembuatan konten pemasaran. Selain itu, pengembangan basis data UMKM yang terorganisasi harus terus dimutakhirkan agar memudahkan pemerintah dan pemangku kepentingan dalam memberikan dukungan.

Abstract

The Batu Bara Malay community has expressed concerns about the halalness of animal slaughter practices, particularly involving chickens and ducks, in the local animal market. In response, the Indonesian Ulema Council of Tanjung Tiram Sub-district (MUI TANBARSU) organized training to ensure compliance with Islamic standards. This study aims to analyze the philosophical and ethical values embedded in the training program. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the training incorporated educational elements emphasizing Islamic teachings, ethical standards, and technical aspects of halal slaughtering. The practical sessions further reinforced participants’ understanding of these values. The research concludes that the training program not only addresses community doubts about halal slaughter but also promotes a deeper integration of religious philosophy, ethics, and technical standards into slaughtering practices, contributing to consumer trust and the preservation of Islamic principles in the Batu Bara Malay community.

Abstract

This study aims to accurately describe how school management and library development are implemented at SMAN 1 Kualuh Selatan, with a focus on the library's role as part of the educational process. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Information was gathered from various informants, including the principal, library managers, teachers, and students, to provide a deeper understanding of school and library management. For data analysis, this study follows the steps outlined by Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that management at SMAN 1 Kualuh Selatan focuses on human resource management, budgeting and financing, as well as facilities and infrastructure, including the library. It was found that the school’s human resources are well-managed, though there are challenges in library development that still require improvements, particularly in collection and staffing. Supporting factors for library development include stakeholder collaboration, literacy activities, and government policies, while the primary constraint is the limited number of professional staff. This study concludes that while significant efforts have been made in library development at SMAN 1 Kualuh Selatan, there is still a need for improvements in resource qualification and collection management to ensure the library can optimally support the school’s educational goals.

Abstract

Abstrak Bubur pedas termasuk dalam makanan tradisional yang ada di Medan Labuhan. Makanan tradisional memiliki peran yang penting dalam bagian kehidupan masyarakat, baik dari segi gizi yang terkandung di dalam makanan tersebut maupun perannya dalam budaya masyarakat yang harus dilestarikan dan dijaga cita rasanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang termasuk ke dalam penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif eksploratif yang berisikan penggambaran serta pengamatan data dalam kurun waktu tertentu, sehingga penelitian ini akan menggambarkan dinamika bubur pedas sebagai warisan kuliner masyarakat Melayu Medan. Masjid Raya Al Osmani adalah masjid dari peninggalan Kesultanan Deli. Masjid ini berada di Kelurahan Pekan Labuhan Kecamatan Medan Labuhan Kota Medan merupakan daerah yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah Melayu. Bubur pedas dibuat dengan berbagai jenis bahan, diantarnya jenis rempah, dedaunan, kacang-kacangan, dan ikan. Bubur pedas juga bergizi dan menyehatkan tubuh, serta memiliki nilai-nilai dan makna yang tinggi yang terkandung di dalamnya. Bubur Pedas menjadi menu yang wajib ada pada bulan Puasa. Pada sumber-sumber lain terdahulu banyak membahas mengenai bubur pedas sebagai objek penelitian namun peneliti disini ingin lebih mendalami dan mengkaji lebih dalam terhadap makna dan nilai-nilai bubur pedas terhadap masyarakat terutama di Masjid Raya Al Osmani Medan Labuhan. Kata Kunci: Adat, Bubur Pedas, Warga Melayu Abstract Spicy porridge is a traditional dish from Medan Labuhan. Traditional foods play an important role in the lives of the community, both in terms of the nutritional content and their cultural significance, which must be preserved and maintained in terms of taste. This research uses a historical research method, which falls under qualitative research. The study is descriptive-exploratory, containing descriptions and observations of data over a certain period. This study will illustrate the dynamics of spicy porridge as a culinary heritage of the Malay community in Medan. The Al Osmani Grand Mosque is a relic of the Deli Sultanate. Located in the Pekan Labuhan subdistrict of Medan Labuhan, Medan City, this area is predominantly inhabited by Malays. Spicy porridge is made with a variety of ingredients, including spices, leaves, legumes, and fish. Spicy porridge is nutritious, healthy, and contains high cultural values and meanings. It is a must-have dish during the fasting month of Ramadan. Previous sources have discussed spicy porridge as a research object; however, this study aims to explore and examine in greater depth the meaning and values of spicy porridge for the community, especially at the Al Osmani Grand Mosque in Medan Labuhan. Abstract

This research is entitled "Patterns of Interpersonal Communication of Overseas Children and Parents in Maintaining Silaturahmi (Case Study of FIS UIN North Sumatra Students)" with the aim of knowing how the patterns of interpersonal communication of overseas children and parents of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State Islamic University of North Sumatra in maintaining friendship. Communication carried out by overseas children and parents of FIS UIN North Sumatra students experience long-distance relationships with differences, communication between overseas children and parents uses media as a communication unit when they live far apart. Then the research method used for this research is field research. The nature of this research is qualitative descriptive with the aim of analyzing the problem based on interpersonal communication patterns of overseas children and parents in maintaining friendship at FIS UIN North Sumatra. The technique of collecting data in this study used by the author is interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are obtained if the communication patterns used by students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State Islamic University of North Sumatra and their parents are Media Communication Patterns, Consensual Communication Patterns, and Laissez Faire Communication Patterns. It is evident from interviews with 12 people in this study using the pattern. Media Communications because they establish long-distance relationships so that they use the media to establish communication, among the 12 informants in this study there were 8 people using the Consensual Communication Pattern, namely making a harmonious relationship and having openness with fellow individuals in communicating because of frequent communication between overseas children and parents almost every day.

Abstract

This research wants to see and examine the meaning (moral message) shown through a film, through the signs in each scene (story scene). The sign in question can be in the form of scenarios, images, text, scenes and so on. These signs are studied using semiotic analysis to find out the hidden meaning of a sign. The film that is of concern to the writer is the film Little Mom. The film Little Mom is based on a 2018 health organization (WHO) journal about the lives of teenage girls who become pregnant out of wedlock. This film tells the story of teenage children by showing the twists and turns of teenage problems between love, dreams and also the future. This study aims to determine the form of the moral message in the film Little Mom and to understand the meaning of the moral message contained in the film Little Mom. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, where this research will analyze, record, describe and interpret the meanings, symbols contained in the film Little Mom related to the meaning of moral messages using the theory of semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of couples who marry at different ages with the aim of knowing how the communication behavior of husband and wife in the Mandailing culture in marriages with a large age difference in the Mandailing culture. There are many differences in marriage with a large age difference between husband and wife which tends to make it difficult for couples to unite thoughts, ideas and opinions. This will be a challenge for the household so that it can make a household that is sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. Source of data obtained from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were used through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation with three husband and wife couples with a much older age difference than their husbands with a distance of five years, seven years and ten years. The results of research conducted in Sopoonggang Baru Hamlet show that different age marriages are much older for wives than husbands, but there are problems that often occur in domestic life, including: difficult to control emotions, relationships decreased sexual relations between husband and wife, jealousy, differences in perspectives and economic problems. To solve problems that occur in marriages of different ages, the following methods are used by informants to solve problems in the household, namely: discussing and ignoring each other. There are several things that couples with different ages do in building household harmony including being honest, being open to each other, trusting each other and staying closer to Allah SWT.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Marketing Communication Strategy in Increasing Advertising Revenue (Case Study of Radio RAU 105 FM Padang Sidimpuan). The purpose of this study is how the marketing communication strategy is applied to Radio RAU 105 FM Padang Sidimpuan to get increased advertising. The theory used is Communication Theory, Communication Mix Theory and Communication Strategy Theory. This study uses a qualitative research model, namely a descriptive approach. Retrieval of data used is observation, interviews and documentation. This research has seven informants including the person in charge of radio, main director, head of administration and finance, radio broadcaster, advertiser and the public. Based on the research that has been carried out, Radio RAU 105 FM Padang Sidimpuan uses a marketing strategy to increase revenue, especially in advertising. The promotion model used is to carry out social activities to the community, give confidence to business actors by broadcasting featured programs and working with potential advertisers at affordable prices and more flexible confirmation of cooperation. The frequency range of Radio RAU 105 FM Padang Sidimpuan is still limited so that it can influence potential advertisers to work with the radio. Another factor that affects the increase in revenue through advertising is the income of business actors and the economic improvement obtained by business actors.
