Abstract

Pertanian perkotaan atau urban agriculture adalah aktifitas budidaya, pengolahan, pemasaran dan pendistribusian bahan pangan, produk kehutanan dan hortikultura yang terjadi di dalam dan sekitar perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah pendapatan rata-rata perbulan produksi hasil pertanian perkotaan komoditas tanaman hidroponik. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei – Agustus 2020 dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dan wawancara berdasarkan hasil kuisioner. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel yatu dengan Accidental Sampling digunakan untuk menentukan responden petani secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pendapatan bulanan hidroponik berkisar diantara Rp.200.000,00 – Rp. 4.000.000,00. Hal ini dikarenakan rata-rata responden masih melakukan trial and error dan kurangnya bantuan dari pemerintah

Abstract

Harga daging ayam broiler dan day old chick (DOC) adalah dua hal yang menentukan tingkat keuntungan peternak ayam broiler. Harga daging ayam broiler dan day old chick (DOC) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam lima tahun terakhir cenderung berfluktuasi. Prakriaan merupakan salah satu cara yang penting dalam mengatasi permasalah fluktuasi harga daging ayam broiler dan DOC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprakirakan harga ayam broiler dan DOC di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Hasil prakiraan tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai pengambilan keputusan oleh pihak-pihak terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jaringan saraf tiruan (JST) backpropagation. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah harga daging ayam broiler dan DOC di Kabupaten Banyuwangi pada periode 2014-2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pelatihan jaringan terbaik adalah 12 node input, 5 node hidden, 1 node output untuk prakiraan harga daging ayam broiler dan harga DOC. Nilai mean absolute error (MAPE) yang diperoleh adalah 4,6% untuk harga perkiraan ayam broiler dan 18,99% untuk harga perkiraan DOC. Harga ayam broiler pada tahun 2019 diperkirakan meningkat pada bulan Januari, April dan Desember, sedangkan harga terendah pada bulan Juni. Prakiraan untuk harga DOC ayam pada tahun 2019 cenderung menurun dari awal tahun dan stagnan dari pertengahan bulan hingga akhir bulan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bedadung River is used as sources of raw water by The Drinking Water Company (PERUMDAM) and also for agricultural irrigation. The urban segment of Bedadung River flows through Patrang, Sumbersari and Kaliwates Districts.  The burden of pollution in the Bedadung River is increasing along with community activities. Apart from anthropogenic activities originating from domestic waste, sources of pollution in the Bedadung River are also come from agricultural activities (fertilizer and pesticides), industrial activities, population growth, organic and inorganic waste, urban development and weak management systems. The research objectives were to identify the behavior and perception of the urban segment communities on water pollution at Bedadung River. This study used primary data from survey using 400 respondents and secondary data from some institutions. Survey showed that majority of the respondents through away garbage to channel and river, however for feces disposal, 75% of the communities already had toilets. Based on community perceptions the current status of the Bedadung River is 58% polluted, 7% unknown, and 36% is good. This perception is based on Bedadung River water conditions such as the presence of garbage, water clarity and water odor. In order to maintain the environmental quality of the Bedadung River, the community and related stakeholders have carried out river cleaning activities on a sustainable basis. This preliminary study is expected to provide preliminary information on managing community-based river water quality in a sustainable manner.Keyword: Bedadung Watershed; society; environmental quality ABSTRAKSungai Bedadung segmen perkotaan digunakan sebagai air baku Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum (PERUMDAM) dan juga berfungsi untuk irigasi pertanian. Sungai Bedadung di bagian segmen perkotaan melalui Kecamatan Patrang, Sumbersari dan Kaliwates. Beban pencemaran di Sungai Bedadung semakin meningkat seiring dengan banyaknya kegiatan masyarakat. Selain dari limbah domestik, sumber pencemaran di Sungai Bedadung juga berasal dari kegiatan pertanian (pupuk dan pestisida), kegiatan industri, pertumbuhan penduduk, limbah organik, dan anorganik. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu melakukan identifikasi perilaku dan persepsi masyarakat wilayah perkotaan terhadap pencemaran air Sungai Bedadung. Studi ini didasarkan kepada data primer yang dilakukan melalui survey dan wawancara terhadap 400 responden dan data sekunder dari beberapa institusi. Survei menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden membuang sampah ke saluran-saluran air dan langsung ke sungai. 75% responden sudah mempunyai WC dengan peresapan untuk pembuangan tinja. Berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat, 58% menilai keadaan Sungai Bedadung saat ini adalah tercemar, hanya 36% yang menyatakan kondisi baik, sedangkan 7% tidak tahu. Persepsi tersebut berdasarkan kondisi air Sungai Bedadung seperti keberadaan sampah, kejernihan air serta bau air. Selain pengelolaan sampah dan sanitasi yang kurang baik, keberadaan industri kecil di sekitar Sungai Bedadung juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap kondisi lingkungan sungai. Guna menjaga kualitas lingkungan Sungai Bedadung, masyarakat dan stakeholder terkait telah melakukan kegiatan pembersihan sungai dari sampah secara kontinyu. Kajian awal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi informasi awal dalam pengelolaan kualitas air sungai berbasis masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: DAS Bedadung; masyarakat; kualitas lingkungan

Abstract

Investasi mempunyai peranan penting dalam menumbuhkembangkan agroindustri perikanan. Model penunjang keputusan investasi diperlukan dalam rangka membantu pemerintah daerah mengambil keputusan investasi agroindustri perikanan secara cepat dan tepat. Kajian ini bertujuan merancangbangun Sistem Manajemen Ahli untuk menunjang keputusan investasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan wilayah bagi pengembangan agroindustri perikanan dan kelembagaannya.  Sistem terdiri dari 6 model, yaitu (1)  fuzzy expert system untuk menentukan wilayah pengembangan, (2)  model untuk menentukan komoditas perikanan unggulan, (3) model  untuk menentukan produk unggulan, (4) model untuk menentukan potensi bahan baku, (5) model   analisis kelayakan finansial proyek agroindustri, dan (6) model untuk menentukan bentuk kelembagaan bagi pengembangan usaha kecil perikanan. Verifikasi model dilakukan di Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur. Contoh hasil verifikasi menunjukkan bahwa wilayah pengembangan yang terpilih adalah Kecamatan Palang dengan komoditas utamanya ikan teri dan produk unggulannya ikan teri asin. Potensi bahan baku ikan teri pada tahun 2010 yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh proyek agroindustri di wilayah ini adalah 1067 ton. Kajian lebih lanjut yang disarankan adalah penggunaan model dinamis untuk menduga produksi ikan teri dan pengembangan interface model penunjang keputusan yang lebih fleksibel dan user friendly.

Abstract

Corporate performance can be measured financially and non-financially. Non-financial measurements cannot be separated from the financial measurements. The aims of this study was to describe of how performance measurement systems that has been conducted at tea agroindustry on Kebun Bantaran PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII to achieve success areas of tea agroindustry. The system was built to adopt from Integrated Dynamic Performance Measurement Systems (IDPMS) model. Interviews, observations, and company’s documents were conducted to gather empirical information regarding the needs of developing new appraisal system. Four integrated functional area of the models are corporate management, factory management, production line, and lab QC. Each functional areas were linked through the specification, reporting, and dynamic updating of the defined areas of success, performance measure, and performance standard. Understanding interrelatioships of performance measurements provides the foundation for more focused improvement effort.

Abstract

Koperasi Rejo Tani merupakan agroindustri kopi arabika yang terletak di Kecamatan Sumberwringin, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Kopi arabika memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan karena bahan baku agroindustri. Potensi besar agroindustri kopi arabika mulai disadari oleh berbagai pihak sehingga persaingan akan semakin meningkat. Koperasi Rejo Tani harus memiliki strategi dalam mempertahankan daya saingnya. Penilaian Daya Saing menggunakan pendekatan Diamond Porter Model dan metode scoring. Hasil penilaian daya saing agroindustri adalah nilai indeks kondisi faktor (3.842) dengan predikat tinggi, nilai indeks dimensi faktor permintaan (4.129) dengan predikat tinggi, indeks nilai dimensi industri terkait dan penunjang (2,365) dengan predikat rendah, indeks nilai indeks dimensi strategis, struktur, dan persaingan (3.337) dengan predikat sedang, dimensi nilai indeks peluang (3.476) dengan predikat tinggi, dan nilai indeks dimensi peran pemerintah (3.503). Sedangkan hasil penilaian daya saing secara komprehensif dengan nilai indeks komposit (3,686) dengan predikat tinggi. Kemudian merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Network Process (ANP). Alternatif strategi diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan para ahli berdasarkan hasil penilaian daya saing. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode ANP alternatif prioritas dengan bobot paling tinggi yaitu mengembangkan klaster agroindustri kopi arabika dengan bobot 0.50034.

Abstract

XYZ is a poultry feed producer in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. The problem in developing poultry feed at PT XYZ was the fluctuating price of poultry feed. Meat bone meal (MBM) or what is called meat flour is one of the raw materials for poultry feed that affects the final price of poultry feed products. The price of MBM was greatly influenced by the exchange rate of the rupiah against the dollar. Forecasting is one way that needs to be done in dealing with MBM price fluctuations. The aim of this study was to estimate the price of MBM using backpropagation neural networks (BNN). The data used in this study was the price of MBM in the period January 2016-October 2018. Based on the results of the study, the best BNN architecture for the estimated MBM price was12-10-1 (12 input nodes, 10 hidden nodes, and 1 output node). This architecture has reached the training target of 0.002 with a MAPE test value of 13.93%. Based on forecasts with the BNN the highest MBM price in May 2019 and the lowest MBM price in January 2019.

Abstract

The food processing industry currently produces various kinds of products with local food brands. In Lumajang Regency, the availability of banana var. Mas Kirana (Musa acuminate 'lady Finger') is very abundant so that it provides significant business opportunities. This study determined the quality attributes of ripe banana chips from SMEs in Lumajang Regency. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents. The results of the questionnaire were processed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results showed that the quality attributes of ripe banana chips based on the IPA method were ease of breaking, taste stability, packaging information, packaging safety, and shelf life. The key attributes of the "Freezing" brand were the ease of breaking attribute (3.90), taste stability attribute (3.86) and packaging safety attribute (3.97). The key attributes of the burno sari brand were the taste attributes (3.94), and packaging information attributes (3.83). The key attribute of the "Kurnia" brand was the taste attribute. It means that (3.94). This means that all brands sampled on ripe banana chips products have good quality (satisfying consumers) with certain attribute that stand out in each brand.

Abstract

Determination of the number of workers is one step to increase efficiency and productivity. Packaging has an important role to increase productivity. The purpose of the work measurement is to determine the standard time with the work sampling method so that it can be seen the number of workers needed. Observation of 2 trained workers for 10 days with 30 observations per day. The results showed that the average productive percentage in shift 1 of labor 1 was 96% and labor 2 was 93%. While in the second shift 2 workers have a productive percentage of 92%. The standard time in shift 1 is 1,2946 minutes/unit with a load of 233.28% and 1,3009 minutes/unit for a workforce with a load of 263.55%, while in shift 2, the workforce 1 is 1.3038. minutes/unit with a load of 320.16% and a workforce of 1.3401 minutes/unit with a load of 346.84%. Based on the calculation of the efficiency of shift 1 workers with efficient achievements of 95.00% and 86.67%. Likewise, with the efficiency of shift 2 workers with efficient achievements of 88.33% and 86.00%. So the number of workers needed is 5 people/machine.

Abstract

The frozen food industry continues to grow and needs attention to maintain productivity and quality of the product. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is an appropriate method to evaluate and increase productivity in lean manufacturing. PT. MDT is a company engaged in the business focusing on processing okra vegetables. This company has never assessed the okra production process. Minimizing the lead time of the process and cycling time of daily activities are problems related to productivity in this company. This study aims to reduce processing time to develop recommendations to improve the okra production process. VSM and comparative analysis of the current and future state maps were implemented in this study to establish proposed recommendations. Process Activity Mapping (PAM) resulted from the current state; total value-added was 186.31 minutes, necessary non-value-added was 26.99 minutes, and non-value added was 543.41 minutes. The highest non-value added value was found in the queue of raw materials at the material staging area (MSA) and weighing. Proposed recommendations for improvement solutions at MSA were to set up the engine warm earlier and reduce set-up time, good production planning, and implement the kanban system. At the same time, the queue of raw materials at weighing was to supervise and add operators. Solutions were implemented into a future state map. The total lead time was 371.35 minutes, and the value-added was 213.30 minutes. The comparison of the current state map and future state map showed decreasing of 48.37% in the MSA lead time, 66.69% in weighing, and 31.66% in the total lead time. Based on the lead time of the current condition map, one shift of production could produce 112 boxes. Meanwhile, with a lead time map of future conditions, this could produce 202 boxes
