Abstract

AbstrakKondisi lingkungan kerja diantaranya kenyamanan, keamanan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan komponen yang dapat memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Salah satu tahap yang termasuk ke dalam proses sortasi di PTPN XII Banjarsari Jember yaitu tahap pemotongan lembaran karet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagian tubuh karyawan yang mengalami rasa nyeri, melakukan redesain terhadap meja pemotong lembaran karet, serta mengetahui perbedaan setelah dilakukan redesain meja pemotong lembaran karet baik dari keluhan nyeri yang dialami karyawan maupun dari segi produktivitas karyawan tahap sortasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner untuk mengetahui data keluhan yang dialami, pengukuran data antropometri karyawan, kemudian membandingkan produktivitas sebelum dan sesudah redesain meja pemotong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keluhan pekerja berkurang setelah dilakukan redesain meja pemotong lembaran karet yang lebih ergonomis. Keluhan pekerja yang paling banyak berkurang adalah keluhan pada bagian tangan dan kaki. Perbaikan desain tinggi meja berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tumpukan karet, jangkauan bahan baku dengan mesin pemotong serta jangkauan dengan tempat produk jadi. Alat potong lembaran karet yang semula menggunakan gunting digantikan menggunakan piringan logam yang bergerak menggunakan mesin juga berperan menurunkan keluhan pekerja terutama bagian tangan. Produktivitas dari bagian sortasi juga meningkat dari 2,250 ton/hari menjadi 3,222 ton/hari.Kata kunci: antropometri, ergonomi, lembaran karet, meja pemotong AbstractWorker environment conditions including comfort, safety and health are components that can affect employee performance. One of the stages included in the sorting process at PTPN XII Banjarsari Jember is the stage of cutting rubber sheets. This study aims to redesign the rubber sheet cutting table to make it more ergonomic so that it can minimize employee complaints and find out productivity improvements from the sorting process. The method used is a questionnaire to find out the complaints data experienced, measurement of employee anthropometric data, then compare productivity before and after the cutting table redesign. The result showed that after the redesigned, more ergonomic rubber sheet cutting table reduced workers complaints. The most reduced employee complaints are complaints on the hands and feet. Improved design of table height affects the height of the rubber pile, the range of raw materials with cutting machines and the range with the place of the finished product. The rubber sheet cutting tool that used to use scissors was replaced by using a metal plate that moves using the machine and also contributes to reducing workers' complaints, especially the hand parts. The productivity of the sorting section also increased from 2.250 tons/day to 3.222 tons/day.Keywords: anthropometry, ergonomics, production table, rubber sheet

Abstract

The research objective  is evaluating the convenience of the sorting condition in terms of aspects concerning the use of anthropometry include the comfort of a chair, to evaluate the working environment (temperature and humidity of the room work as well as noise) and provide an alternative design of chairs and tables by the method of anthropometry. This research used 30 respondents who had been sampled. The research was limited to observations of temperature, humidity, noise and anthropometric include seat height, height shoulders, wide hips, knee height, popliteal height, buttock - popliteal, shoulder width, height and arm reach. The results showed that the temperature and humidity of the room was still not optimal noise intensity as well as some parts of the production of more than Limit Value. Subjective complaints occurred in almost all parts of the body of workers. Complaints caused by the design of chairs and tables that are less ergonomic and environmental conditions are less than optimal. The size of the table after redesigning the table height 80 cm, width 70 cm and length of the table table 195 cm while the size of a chair after redesigning the high chair (without backrest) 46 cm, 100 cm wide backrest and cushion length and 120 cm high backrest by 54 cm. Alternative solution given is to redesign the tables and chairs based on data antropomerti workers so as to create a means by which ergonomic and improvement of environmental conditions.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X Kebun Kertosari, Kabupaten Jember merupakan perusahaan agroindustri yang dikenal sebagai perusahaan yang mengolah dan menghasilkan daun tembakau kualitas baik. Setiap pekerjaan yang ada di PT Perkebunan Nusantara X Kebun Kertosari dengan usia pekerja 20 th - 40 th memiliki jenis pekerjaan yang berbeda seperti sortasi, pengangkutan dan distribusi bahan dengan posisi kerja berdiri dan duduk sehingga dapat menimbulkan beban kerja. Permasalahan yang timbul akibat beban kerja berdampak pada konsentrasi, kinerja, kualitas produk, dan kesehatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban kerja fisiologis dan psikologis pada pekerja bagian sortasi tembakau usia 20 th – 40 th dengan posisi berdiri dan duduk serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengurangi beban kerja pada bagian sortasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran beban kerja fisik menggunakan denyut nadi secara manual yang dilakukan 3 waktu yaitu sebelum bekerja (DNI), bekerja (DNK), dan saat istirahat (pemulihan) kemudian dihitung dengan % CVL. Hasil penelitian diperoleh % CVL pekerja usia 20 th – 40 th dengan posisi kerja berdiri lebih dominan mengalami beban kerja fisik dengan nilai 30 %. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan untuk pengukuran beban kerja mental adalah NASA-TLX dengan dua tahap yaitu tahap pembobotan dan tahap pemberian rating. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai WWL pekerja usia 20 th-40 th adalah 80 sehingga memiliki beban kerja mental dengan kategori sedang hingga berat.

Abstract

This research was conducted in a case study of a rubber processing factory involving several parts, namely gardens, processing plants, and final processing. In the last 2 years, the company has started with the implementation of green supply chain management program included the waste treatment system and recycle of solid and liquid waste. Therefore it was necessary to evaluate and measure the performance of the green supply chain to find out how well the performance of the company's supply chain. The purpose of this study was to measure the performance of the green supply chain in the processing of Ribbed Smoke Sheet (RSS) by using the application of Green Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method. This study employed the model Green Supply Chain Operations Reference (Green SCOR) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data collection was reached through interview and questionnaire techniques to the experts. The Green SCOR model was implemented to design business processes and measure performance using the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). The AHP method was required to reach weight and rank to each indicators used in this study. This study employed 24 KPIs to measure the performance of the company's supply chain. Performance value of green supply chain in the company has a value of 72.03% which was classified into good level. Another low score indicators was used as a basic to develop proposed recommendations for company’s green supply chain improvement program

Abstract

In milk processing, supply chain activities were started fromthe procurement of raw materials, milking cows, milkprocessing, marketing of dairy products, and wastemanagement. The purposes of this study were to analyzeeconomical aspect, and to study environmental aspect onGSCM implementation in CV. MUER. Direct survey anddisccussion, environmetal indicators and economicalanalysis were implemented in this study. The results of studyfound that the use of water for cage cleansing was 3600liters, number of feeding was 2265.57kg, milking productionwas 550 liters, the water usage for washing tools was 250liters. The assessment of environmental indicators using 13indicators found that this unit has score of 30 means thatCV. MUER has implemented most of the GSCM conceptsalong the supply chain of milk production. Other resultshowed that the amount of contamination (COD and BODvalue) in the milk processing was higher than govermentregulation standard. In term of economical analysis shownthat NPV value was Rp.2.723.162.185, IRR 36.99%, and B /C ratio was 1.48. This means that the value of NPV wasgreater than zero, IRR was greater than the bank interestrate (equal to 10%), and B/C ratio was greater than 1, thisindicated that based on environmental and economicalaspect, GSCM has a high feasibility to be implemented inCV. Abstract

PTPN XII Silosanen is one of the large state-owned coffee plantations (PBN) in East Java Province. PTPN XII Silosanen in running its business encountered several problems. One of them is the raw material produced is low. This has the potential to cause the production target not to be achieved, so the company is unable to meet consumer demand. These problems will cause losses for the company, so efforts must be made to prevent the occurrence of risks. This study aims to identify risk events and sources of risk, as well as develop treatment strategies to minimize the occurrence of risks. The method used is the House of Risk (HOR) method. The HOR method consists of two phases. HOR phase 1 is used to identify risk events and sources of risk, while HOR phase 2 is used to develop risk management strategies. The results of this study indicate that there are 26 risk events and 28 sources of risk, and 15 strategies for handling risk sources are obtained. Furthermore, 7 priority treatment strategies are obtained to mitigate risk events.

Abstract

Sidomulyo village, Silo region is one of main small holder coffee producer at Jember district. Unpredictable world production and price can cause unsustainability of small holder coffee production. The research objective was to evaluate sustainability of small holder coffee plantation in Sidomulyo, Jember district. Based on purposive and random sampling survey, questionnaire and discussion with key persons were implemented in this research in collecting data. Dimension of ecology, social institutional, economic and technology were analyzed using Rap-Coffee program modified from Rapfi sh software. The result reveals that from four dimensions implemented in this research, the sustainability index was 59,5 % means that activity of small holder coffee plantation at Sidomulyo still have sustainability as a coffee production unit. This index could be increased through factors improvement of each dimension. The improvement of high sensitivity attributes in each dimension is strongly needed to develop better regulation to support the continuity of small holder plantation of coffee production unit at Sidomulyo.ABSTRAKDesa Sidomulyo, Kecamatan Silo merupakan salah satu sentra produksi kopi rakyat utama di Kabupaten Jember. Perkembangan produksi dan harga kopi dunia yang tidak pasti dapat berimplikasi terhadap keberlanjutan usaha pertanian kopi rakyat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi keberlanjutan usaha kopi rakyat di Desa Sidomulyo, Kabupaten Jember. Berdasarkan purposive and random sampling survey, penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan diskusi dengan pihak terkait dalam pengambilan data. Dimensi ekologi, sosial kelembagaan, ekonomi dan teknologi dianalisis dengan menggunakan program Rap-Coffee hasil modifi kasi dari program Rapfi sh. Berdasarkan simulasi program Rap-Coffee untuk keempat dimensi keberlanjutan, maka Indeks Keberlanjutan KUPK Desa Sidomulyo adalah 59,5 % yang berarti berlanjut. Indeks keberlanjutan ini dapat ditingkatkan melalui perbaikan terhadap faktor pengungkit (indikator sensitif). Oleh karena itu di dalam perencanaan kebijakan untuk pengembangan KUPK Desa Sidomulyo sebaiknya memprioritaskan pada peningkatan indikator yang memiliki sensitivitas tinggi di masing-masing dimensi.

Abstract

Rubber is an export commodity which gave the country’s contribution in increasing Indonesia's foreign exchange effort. PTPN XII Banjarsari isone of the industries which process the latex material. From the whole processing stages, the sorting-part workers were the workers who complained the most about work discomfort. A sorting table with no cavities for the feet would caused workers complain about knee and calf pain. This study aimed to redesign the sorting chair and table based on the anthropometry principle. This research was expected to create table and chair sortation design that can reduce workers’ complaints in order to increase productivity and reduce human error. The data collecting method was done by 3 steps, they were interview, questioner, and direct measurement. Then, the obtained anthropometric data was made into the most appropriate sorting design of chair and the table based on the worker's posture and it was tested on the employee’s complaints, productivity and human error. The results showed that the redesign of the tables and chairs on RSS sortation caused the complaint of sorting workers in PTPN XII Banjarsari decreased. Productivity increased to 8.6%. Human error had decreased, before the redesign it was 8.1% and decreased to 1.9%. The lighting source before redesigned did not fulfill the lighting standard, therefore the redesigned lighting source used an 8 watt LED flourecent with average intensity of 685 lux. It was compatible with the lighting standard to do work that requires average intensity between 500 to 100 lux (Kuswono, 2014). Keywords: anthropometric, ergonomic, RSS

Abstract

Temperature, noise and lighting are the most problems faced by industries, especially at the Coco fiber production company. The objectives of this research were to evaluate the working environment factors such as temperature, noise, and lighting. This research was conducted at the Coco fiber production company namely CV Tiga Sehati at Ledokombo, Jember. Questionnaire was addressed to the workers in the processing area of company to get comments related to the working area. Discussion with key person was also implemented in this research to reach data. Direct measurement of working area environment was conducted using several tools such as thermometer, luxmeter and sound level meter. The average of temperature, humidity, noise and lighting were achieved at the level of 29.5oC, 62.9%, 88.9 dB and310.26 lux, respectively. Almost all of these results were higher than standard level. Some of working area improvement were strongly needed to keep safe, health and convenient of the workers.Keywords: ergonomic, work environment, coco fiber

Abstract

Post-harvest is an activity processed from harvesting to becoming a product. Post-harvest handling aims to maintain the quality and minimize the loss of the agricultural product. Post-harvest loss of okra is the reduction of the okra harvest amount from picking up to transporting process. Many factors can cause the post-harvest loss of okra. This study aimed to determine the causal sources of the okra loss. This study used FMEA and fishbone diagram. Fishbone diagram was used to identify the causes of the okra loss in a fishbone skeleton. FMEA was used to give the value on the causes of the okra loss by assessing the severity, occurrence and detection to get the RPN value. The RPN value was used to rank the potential causes of the loss. From the result of the study, it was found that there were 4 main factors causing the okra loss which had the RPN value above the RPN critical value. It were lack of picker accuracy and training or counseling, handling pets and diseases, and age factor of picker. Keywords: fishbone diagram, FMEA, okra, post-harvest loss
