Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of women's leadership in fostering the culture of morning dhikr and its implications for character development and student learning motivation at SMK Yasiska Ciputat. Through a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, this study found that inclusive and inspirational women's leadership is able to initiate significant changes in school culture. Morning dhikr activities are routinely proven to create a calmer learning atmosphere, increase discipline, and strengthen students' spiritual values. Dhikr also contributes to students' intrinsic motivation, fosters the spirit of learning, and encourages the desire to achieve. Female principals play a role model in shaping a religious climate that supports positive character and academic achievement. This research confirms that a combination of transformative leadership and strengthening spiritual culture can be an effective strategy in developing students' character and motivation in the school environment.

Abstract

Research on intellectual ëgures in the archipelago has not been recorded properly. One of them is the study of Sultan Muhammad ‘Aydrus, a reformer in Buton, the author of Hadiyat al-Baṣīr fī Ma‘rifat al-Qadīr. This article describes the roles of the theological works of Muhammad ‘Aydrus within Islamic tradition in Buton. The primary source of this article is the manuscript of Hadiyat al-Baṣīr fī Ma‘rifat al-Qadīr. The article concludes that the text Hadiyat al-Baṣīr has a role in the puriëcation of Islamic theology in the Sultanate of Buton, especially trust ‘legacy’ of the reincarnated spirits of the dead. However, the concept of the puriëcation is very different when compared with the puritanical Padri movement in Minangkabau. Muhammad ‘Aydrus’ purification concepts is more polite because he makes the educational process as a method. This text is one of the text used as teaching material in the educational process. === Penelitian terhadap sosok tokoh-tokoh intelektual di Nusantara belum direkam secara baik. Salah satu diantara adalah penelitian tentang Sultan Muhammad ‘Aydrus, seorang pembaharu di Buton, penulis kitab Hadiyat al-Baṣīr fī Ma‘rifat al-Qadīr. Artikel ini menjelaskan peran-peran dari karya-karya teologis Muhammad ‘Aydrus dalam tradisi keislaman di Buton. Sumber primer artikel ini adalah naskah Hadiyat al-Baṣīr fī Ma‘rifat al-Qadīr. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa teks Hadiyat al-Baṣīr ini berperan mempurifikasi teologi Islam di Kesultanan Buton, terutama kepercayaan ‘warisan’ mengenai reinkarnasi roh orang mati. Namun, purifikasi yang dilakukan sangat berbeda dengan gerakan Paderi di Minangkabau yang terkesan puritan. Purifikasi yang ditempuh Muhammad ‘Aydrus lebih bersifat santun karena ia menjadikan proses edukasi yang terbilang elegan sebagai sarana. Teks ini merupakan salah satu teks yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam proses edukasi tersebut.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui pemberian bimbingan, pendampingan, dan pembinaan profesional secara berkelanjutan. Supervisi akademik membantu guru dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran sehingga mampu membimbing peserta didik secara lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, mengkaji upaya peningkatan kinerja guru, serta menganalisis efektivitas supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di TK IT Global Insani Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data tunggal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui penyusunan program kerja berupa program tahunan dan program semester, serta pelaksanaan supervisi terhadap guru mulai dari metode pengajaran hingga aktivitas pembelajaran. Peningkatan kinerja guru dilakukan melalui program pelatihan di dalam sekolah, seperti bedah kurikulum dan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, serta pelatihan di luar sekolah, seperti workshop dan pengembangan kompetensi profesional. Efektivitas supervisi akademik terlihat dari pelaksanaan evaluasi yang meliputi penilaian, pembinaan, pemantauan, serta analisis hasil supervisi dalam satu semester, yang ditindaklanjuti melalui pembinaan langsung dan tidak langsung.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) is one of the major challenges in the Indonesian education system, which combines religious and general curriculum. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) evaluation, and 4) obstacles to the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education at MA Da'il Khairaat West Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is primary data, namely the Principal, while the secondary data of this study are the Deputy Head of Academic Affairs, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Deputy Head of Religious Affairs, Teachers, Committee, Students, and Parents. Data collection methods are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data uses triangulation techniques, sources and extension of observations. While data analysis with an interactive model begins with data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study of the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education are 1) Strategic planning begins with an analysis of the internal and external environment, 2) Implementation of the principal's strategy, namely the division of job descriptions; 3) Evaluation of the principal's strategy, namely direct supervision of the program's implementation, 4) obstacles and solutions to the principal's strategy in improving quality, namely the first obstacle is human error, the principal's solution is to provide coaching, the second is the lack of facilities and infrastructure, the solution is to add facilities and infrastructure by working together with parents.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers as effective followers in supporting principals in the digital era. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Data was obtained from various literature such as books, journal articles, and reports from educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a strategic role in supporting principal policies, especially in integrating technology into learning. Effective teachers contribute to improving the quality of learning through the use of technology, supporting the principal's vision and mission, and adapting to the transformation of digital education. The success of the teacher's role is influenced by several supporting factors, such as access to technology, ongoing training, and commitment to digital learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, resistance to change, and high workloads are still obstacles that need to be overcome. As an integral part of digital education, teachers are expected to be able to optimize technology training, strengthen collaboration with principals, and utilize digital media as an effective means of communication. This effort requires synergy between teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of education in the digital era.
