Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) What are the stages of implementing the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system at SMK Negeri 4 Banjarmasin and 2) What is the impact of implementing the system on the work system and work culture in schools. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The process of collecting data was carried out by observing, then interviewing the Deputy Principal for Quality Management and equipped with some documentation. The data analysis that the researcher uses with the Miles and Huberman Model is condensation, data presentation and conclusions/verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) several stages carried out by SMK Negeri 4 Banjarmasin in implementing the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system are a ) attend training with the guidance of a consultant, b) prepare quality documents and implement a quality management system according to documents prepared by the school, c) internal audit coordinated by the Quality Management Deputy, d) external audit conducted by PT. URS Service Indonesia, and e) granting of ISO 9001:2015 certificate/ Institutional certification. The impact of the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 is the creation of a better work system, organized according to procedures and can create a team work culture that upholds solidarity and work professionalism.

Abstract

Religious culture in the village of Temboro, which made it is known as "Kampung Madinah", certainly did not happen suddenly, but there was a process of formation and role of Kiai and Pesantren Al-Fatah. This study aims to analyze the Kiai’s cultural strategy in developing a religious culture using a phenomenological approach and collects data through in-depth interviews, active participant observation, and documentation. The study results show that, firstly, ideological culture is the strategy of the Kiai in shaping the religious culture of the Temboro community. Secondly, the ideological culture of the Tablighi Jamaat has an impact on changing the five religious cultures of the Temboro community, namely: (1) ideological faith, (2) normative Islam, (3) Sufistic religious experience, (4) moderate-textual religious knowledge, (5) Maqami-intiqali practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine international accreditation management to assess quality standards at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that UIN Sunan Kalijaga has implemented an international standard quality assurance system and has received FIBAA international accreditation and AUN-QA certification. In 4ICU Unirank 2022 UIN Sunan Kalijaga obtained the top 16 rankings of the best Islamic universities in the world and the best Islamic universities nationwide.

Abstract

This article explains the implementation of digital school management through the Smart Classroom (SCR) program. This qualitative research approach uses descriptive analysis—data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The study results show that a digital school is an educational institution with a learning process using digital equipment, books, and applications. Digital school management is establishing and implementing IT-based programs through the Smart Classroom program using software and hardware products. Second, Smart Classroom Learning at Al-Azhar 37 Islamic Middle School Pekanbaru uses an iPad. Educators create web-based, Google, and application-based learning materials. They were giving assignments/homework through tests and quizzes. Assessment of exam results through the Google form, students make important notes equipped with photo and video features that can be shared using the notes application as a collaboration with friends. This implementation has received support from the school by facilitating internet access via Wi-Fi hotspots within 24 hours. Third, the urgency of Smart Classrooms in educational institutions will make learning more effective, innovative, fun, comprehensive, and time efficient. The implications of this research are very beneficial for all elements of the school because it can facilitate the current student-centered learning process.

Abstract

Islam sets the roles and relationship between husband and wife in the family in a balanced manner to create sakinah, mawadah, and rahmah (peaceful, loving, and compassionate) family. A lot of people often underestimate the role of a wife in a family. This paper examined the Masturah (rather than putting Arabic words, it would be better to write the meaning of the Masturah) as the education program for wife in the family of Tablighi Jamaat in Temboro village, Magetan, East Java, Indonesia. This research used a qualitative approach where the data were collected, applying interviews with various family members of the Tablighi Jamaat. The research results show that the Masturah is a closed and private education strategy for a wife (the Masturah) in the families of Tablighi Jamaat, which is performed in the house with religious training and practice. Second, the purpose of the Masturah is to prepare the role of wife as mu’allimah and muta’alimah, daiyah, and a’bidah (teacher and student, preacher, and worshiper). Third, the Masturah helps to increase Iman (the belief in Allah (the practice in worship, appreciation in practicing Islamic religion, improving the knowledge in Islamic teaching, and the increase of motivation in religion and preaching. This research has implications for the importance of religious education for wives to support their husbands' da'wah activities and children's education at home.

Abstract

Supervision and evaluation of Islamic Religious Education teachers are still experiencing obstacles so that supervision is less effective. One of them is caused by the low level of cooperativeness of teachers in the supervision process due to teachers feeling more senior and less communicative. So it needs the right approach so that the monitoring process runs effectively. This study aims to analyze the humanistic approach in the supervision and evaluation of PAI teachers at SMP Pangandaran Regency. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. For data collection using interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis using miles and hubarman model. As well as the validity test using the credibility test with the triangulation method. The results showed that the supervision and evaluation by supervisors of PAI teachers in Pangandaran district junior high schools was carried out by: 1) Observing performance through academic supervision 2) Intensive guidance 3) Personal and group coaching 4) Development, direction to improve performance and career development 5 ) The assessment is submitted in the form of an academic supervision report. Supervision with a humanistic approach is carried out by adhering to three principles: 1) Opportunity, providing opportunities for improvement, 2) self evaluation, identifying deficiencies and exploring self-potential so as to improve teacher performance. 3) Upgrading, directing and facilitating teachers to improve competence and understand the development of information and technology.

Abstract

This study was carried out at a public elementary school in Krapyak Wetan with the aim of investigating the implementation of the Adiwiyata pilot school in enhancing the educational quality in relation to the Adiwiyata school programme policies. The study also examined the execution of the Adiwiyata school programme, as well as the factors that support or hinder its implementation.   The employed methodology is a qualitative approach with a descriptive orientation.   Data collection methods encompassing observation, in-depth interviews, and documenting.   The data sources include of the school principal, school treasurer, Adiwiyata team members, and teachers.   The process of data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and data verification.   The research yielded recognition for the Adiwiyata school at the district level in Bantul. Additionally, it led to the implementation of various programmes such as daily plastic-free cleaning activities, the establishment of healthy and food-safe canteens, the implementation of a simple school wastewater treatment system (IPAL), compost processing programmes, the installation of composters, the establishment of hydroponics systems, the construction of greenhouses, the creation of biopores for planting, the utilisation of ablution water waste, and the implementation of the 3R recycling principle (reuse, reduce, and recycle) among others.   The programme is executed by including many components, such as the adoption of eco-friendly policies, implementation of an eco-friendly curriculum, engagement in participatory environmental activities, and efficient management of eco-friendly supporting infrastructure.   Hydroponics, greenhouses, biopore planting, ablution water waste, 3R recycling (reuse, reduce and recycle), and other related methods and practises.   The programme is executed by incorporating components such as eco-friendly policies, implementation of an eco-friendly curriculum, participatory environmental activities, and management of eco-friendly supporting facilities.   Hydroponics, greenhouses, biopore planting, ablution water waste, 3R recycling (reuse, reduce, and recycle), and other related practises.   The programme is executed by incorporating components such as eco-friendly policies, implementation of an eco-friendly curriculum, participatory environmental activities, and management of eco-friendly supporting facilities.
