Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh teknik self instruction terhadap kejenuhan belajar siswa di SMPIT Al-Ghozali Jember. Pendekatan ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis true-experimental design dengan tipe pretest-posttest control groub design. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPIT Al-Ghozali Jember berjumlah 49 siswa. Metodologi memperoleh data melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan observasi. Sebelum disebarkan angket diuji validasi dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh teknik self instruction terhadap kejenuhan belajar siswa di SMPIT Al-Ghozali Jember. Hal ini dibuktikan hasil pretest dan posttest bahwa setelah pemberian treatment dengan teknik self instruction, siswa mengalami penurunan kejenuhan belajar. Hasil pretest kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata skor 188,7 sedangkan hasil skor posttest menunjukkan rata-rata skor 144,8 dengan selisih 42,4. Perubahan tersebut menunjukkan kejenuhan belajar yang awalnya tinggi menjadi sedang setelah diberikannya treatment dengan teknik self instruction. Adapun besaran Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) ialah 0,018 < 0,025. Artinya terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan pada tingkat kejenuhan belajar diantara pretest dan posttest, sehingga hipotesis diterima, Kesimpulannya bahwa penggunaan teknik self instruction ada pengaruh terhadap kejenuhan belajar di SMPIT Al-Ghozali Jember.

Abstract

Knowledge and views of certain tribes, community groups, or individuals without going through formal education. Mathematics with cultural nuances (ethnomathematics) will make a huge contribution to mathematics learning. The aim of this research is to describe the mathematical concepts contained in JFC costume designs. In this research, researchers used qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The instrument in this research is a human instrument; the researcher is directly related to the research and acts as a data collector through library data collection, interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that ethnomathematics in Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) fashion design can be in the form of the concept of symmetry and flat shapes such as triangles, squares, rhombuses, and circles. This can be seen in several costumes worn at JFC. The ethnomathematics in JFC costumes can certainly provide inspiration for educators to develop interesting learning by applying ethnomathematics. Educators can use JFC costume design patterns as material for teaching students mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that can convey and channel messages from sources in a planned manner so as to create a conducive learning environment where recipients can carry out the learning process efficiently and effectively. This research is aimed at finding out the effect of implementing algebra cartoon books on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember in the 2023–2024 academic year. The method used is the quasi-experiment research method with a posttest-only control design research design. The population of this study was all in class VII of SMP Plus Dasrus Sholah Jember, for a total of 76. Meanwhile, the sample used was class VIIA, with a sample of 15 people from the experimental class and 15 people from class VIIB as the control class. The sample data collection technique was carried out by random sampling. This research process shows that the implementation of algebra cartoon book media on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember was carried out by dividing class VII into two groups, namely the experimental class, which used algebra cartoon book media, and the control class, which used conventional learning methods. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test. The results of the research show that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. In simple terms, it can be stated that there is a positive influence from the use of the Algebra Cartoon Book on the learning outcomes of class VII students in the mathematics subject algebra material at SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember.

Abstract

Disabilitas netra adalah seorang individu yang mengalami hambatan penglihatan, hambatan itu bisa mengganggu aktivitas individu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk pada proses kegiatan belajar yang dialami oleh mahasiswa dengan hambatan penglihatan. Salah satunya yaitu hambatan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari statistik. Pengembangan model pembelajaran statistika melalui pendekatan problem based learning berbasis advokatif (adaptif, variatif, kolaboratif, inovatif) menjadi salah satu alternatif pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengaplikasian mata kuliah statistik bagi mahasiswa disabilitas netra. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) adalah penelitian yang menghasilkan produk dan menguji keefektifan produk tertentu. Abstract

Indonesia is a one of developing country. After 79 years of independence, Indonesia is not yet free from debt. In 2023, Indonesia's total national debt will reach Rp. 8,144.69 trillion. The debt can cause economic problems in many debtor countries. Regression analysis is a statistical analysis that explains the relationship between the dependent variable (Y) and the independent variable (X). The author is interested in analyzing what factors influence the amount of the annual increase in Indonesia's debt. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that the variables that influence the amount of the increase in Indonesia's national is a variable debt are the GDP growth (X1), variable the GDP value 1 year ago (X2), and variable the debt to GDP ratio 1 year ago (X3). The coefficient of determination (R2) value is 0.89, which means that 89% of the increase in Indonesia's national debt is influenced by variables variable debt are the GDP growth, variable the GDP value 1 year ago, and variable the debt to GDP ratio 1 year ago. The regression model formed is: Y = -60.489 (X1) + 0.046 (X2) + 592.738 (X3) + e. Keywords: Weighted Moving Average, WMA, Inflation. Abstrak. Negara Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara berkembang. setelah 79 tahun merdeka, Indonesia belum lepas dari hutang. Tahun 2023, total utang negara Indonesia mencapai Rp. 8.144,69 triliun. Utang dapat menimbulkan permasalahan ekonomi pada banyak negara debitur. Analisis regresi adalah suatu analisa statistika yang menjelaskan hubungan antara variabel terikat (Y) dan variabel bebas (X). penulis tertarik untuk menganlisis faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi besaran nilai penambahan hutang tahunan negara Indonesia. Menggunakan analsisi regresi linier berganda, diperoleh hasil bahwa Variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap besar penambahan hutang Negara Indonesia adalah variabel pertumbuhan PDB (X1), variabel nilai PDB 1 tahun yang lalu (X2), dan variabel rasio utang terhadap PDB 1 tahun yang lalu (X3). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.89 yang berarti bahwa sebesar 89% besar penambahan hutang Negara Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh variabel X1, X2, dan X3. Model regresi yang terbentuk adalah: Y = -60.489 (X1) + 0.046 (X2) + 592.738 (X3) + e . Kata kunci: Analisis Regresi, Berganda, Utang Indonesia.

Abstract

Berdasarkan Observasi dan wawancara di SMP PGRI Mumbulsari khususnya di kelas VIIB masih terdapat beberapa masalah terkait minat belajar. Diantaranya konsentrasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran tidak sepenuhnya maksimal, seperti halnya berbicara dengan teman sebangkunya, dan sering izin ketika pembelajaran mau di mulai hal itu membuat siswa kurang memperhatikan guru ketika mata pelajaran berlangsung di dalam kelas bahkan masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang terlambat masuk kelas sehingga tidak sepenuhnya menerima materi yang di sampaikan guru. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh dua data , yaitu data minat belajar dan prestasi akademik dengan populasi penelitian yang berjumlah 15 siswa SMP PGRI Mumbul Sari Jember. Dari analisis spss maka penelitian menghasilkan hubungan positif yang signifikan diantara minat belajar dengan prestasi akademik, hal tersebut dapat di buktikan dari hasil analisis korelasi product monent sebesar 0,491 dibandingkan dengan r tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% N=50 sebesar 0,433. Jadi r hitung lebis besar dari r tabel. Menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi minat belajar siswa, maka semakin tinggi prestasi akademik siswa. Karena dua variabel tersebut memiliki korelasi yang cukup kuat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of ethnomathematics-based learning on the game Gobak Sodor to improve students' mathematical understanding. Gobak Sodor is a traditional game that is a cultural heritage from our ancestors and needs to be preserved. Gobak Sodor is a very popular traditional Indonesian game that requires good strategy, dexterity, and cooperation in a rectangular arena lined with chalk lines. This game combines elements of dexterity, strategy, and teamwork. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. Class VII-A is an experimental class that uses an ethnomathematics-based learning model with the gobak sodor game, and class VII-B is a control class that uses a direct learning model. Research data was obtained through a test in the form of five questions describing mathematical understanding. Based on the results of research using an independent sample test, a significance value of 0.001 was obtained, which is smaller than 0.05. Based on this decision, H0 was rejected, which shows that there is a difference in students' mathematical understanding between the experimental class, which applies ethnomathematics-based learning with the gobak sodor game, and the control class, which uses conventional learning. These results indicate that there is a positive influence of ethnomathematics-based learning with the gobak sodor game on improving students' mathematical understanding. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical communication skills in solving problems involving integer operations. Mathematical communication is the effective delivery of ideas, understanding, and mathematical concepts between individuals, covering various aspects, including the use of symbols, language, and graphics to explain mathematical concepts and solutions. This research method uses a qualitative method. The results of the study showed that two highly capable subjects were able to complete well according to what was instructed according to the mathematical communication indicators, namely written text, drawing, and mathematical expression. Based on interviews, both subjects were able to explain according to what was done (each student's answer). While low-ability subjects completed well according to what was instructed according to the mathematical communication indicators, namely written text and mathematical expression, both subjects were unable to meet the drawing indicator. Based on interviews, both subjects were able to explain according to what was done (each student's answer) on two mathematical communication indicators, namely written text and mathematical expression, but were unable to explain on the drawing indicator. Abstract

This research aims to determine students' literacy skills in solving trigonometry story questions at Sunan Giri Vocational School class X in terms of gender. Literacy is not only about the technical ability to read and write but also about understanding and using information effectively to achieve goals. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Qualitative research aims to explain a phenomenon in depth and is carried out by collecting data in as much depth as possible, which is used to describe clearly and in detail literacy skills in solving trigonometry problems in terms of gender. Data collection techniques use test and interview techniques. Based on the results of research on mathematical literacy abilities in solving trigonometry problems in terms of gender, it was found that male students were able to fulfill mathematical literacy abilities in the indicators of formulating, applying, interpreting, and evaluating, while female students fulfilled mathematical literacy abilities in the indicators of formulating and applying. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of the problem-based learning model affects the learning outcomes of class X students regarding the material on systems of linear inequalities in three variables. This research is a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, with class X research subjects at Al-Hidayah Islamic High School. The instrument used is a validated system of linear inequalities in a three-variable material understanding test. The analyses used in this study are descriptive and inferential. The study found a big improvement in learning results after using the problem-based learning (PBL) method for the System of Linear Inequalities in Three Variables material, with an average score of 46.0833 before the test and 75.6667 after. The significant value of the hypothesis test is below 0.05, which means 0.00 < 0.05; thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This study shows a significant difference in student learning outcomes when using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model.
