Abstract

The main problem faced by Indonesian education is the low quality of education at every level and unit of education. Many factors cause the low quality of education in Indonesia. One of them is the curriculum that has always been centralized, ignoring diversity and only oriented towards mastery of subject matter. Most students have a pattern of learning diligently and painstakingly, but the results obtained are less than optimal and there are types of students who study only approaching exams with unscheduled study time, but get less than optimal results. The solution that can be done is to use the expository learning model, in expository learning the teacher tends to hold the control of the active learning process, while students are relatively passive in accepting and following what is presented by the teacher. Expository learning is a teacher-centered learning, in which the teacher becomes the main source and provider of information with the intention that students can master the learning material optimally. The research method used is quantitative research. The result of the T test Research is 1.684 (> sg 0.05) which states that count> t table means accepting Ho, therefore there is a difference in the effect of the expositosi learning model on learning outcomes in biology subjects that follow out-of-school tutoring for 3rd grade high school students.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is an education reform designed to address inequalities in the quality of education in Indonesia. It emphasizes flexible, contextual and student-centered learning, with a focus on character development, 21st century skills and technology integration. Teachers act as facilitators who assist students to be active and independent. Although it provides room for innovation, its implementation still faces challenges, especially in 3T areas. The success of Merdeka Curriculum depends heavily on the synergy between the government, schools, teachers, parents, and communities as well as continuous evaluation and training, and to improve our interests and talents using P5 subjects. The research method used is qualitative. The research objective is to find out the implementation of the independent curriculum to increase students' interests and talents with the P5 program. The results of the research on the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Muncar show positive progress in creating active, independent, and contextualized learning. Through the collaboration of teachers, students, and school management, as well as the support of the P5 program, this curriculum encourages the development of students' character and creativity. Despite facing challenges such as limited facilities and adaptation of learning culture, strategic efforts such as training, regular reflection, and participatory leadership are the keys to success in implementing this curriculum in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Improvements in student learning outcomes are highly dependent on the learning strategies used by teachers in the classroom. Conventional, teacher-centered learning methods often result in students being less active and having difficulty understanding the material, especially in biology, which contains many abstract concepts. One solution to overcome this is to combine mind mapping and the Snowball Throwing learning model. Mind mapping helps students summarize and organize information visually, thereby facilitating concept understanding. Meanwhile, Snowball Throwing encourages students to actively participate through question and answer sessions and enjoyable group discussions. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mind mapping with the Snowball Throwing learning model on biology learning outcomes in the movement system material at Taruna Bhayangkara 2 Public High School. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping with the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive and significant effect on students' biology learning outcomes in the movement system material.
