Abstract

AbstractThis article discusses the application of Heideggerian perspectives on existentialism in civic education programs in Indonesia and their critique on the construction of knowledge and the implementation of citizenship values in the education system. The research findings indicate that the concepts of authenticity and ontological education in civic education complement each other in developing individuals as citizens who have a deep understanding of themselves, social responsibility, and the meaning of existence. This approach also prepares them to face the challenges of globalization and world changes, considering the social and historical contexts that influence individuals, thus fostering a caring, responsible, and knowledgeable society. However, the development of civic education programs at the tertiary level in Indonesia needs to consider the critique from Heideggerian perspectives to balance empowering individuals to seek personal life meaning and developing citizenship values inherent in individuals as citizens. Higher education civic education is expected to produce citizens with intellectual competence and strengthen their sense of social responsibility through civic engagement as young citizens in building an inclusive, just, and harmonious public sphere.--------------AbstrakArtikel ini membahas penerapan perspektif Heideggerian tentang eksistensialisme dalam program pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia serta kritiknya terhadap konstruksi pengetahuan dan implementasi nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dalam sistem pendidikan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa konsep autentisitas dan pendidikan ontologis dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan saling melengkapi untuk mengembangkan individu sebagai warga negara yang memiliki pemahaman mendalam tentang diri sendiri, tanggung jawab sosial, dan makna keberadaan. Pendekatan ini juga mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perubahan dunia dengan memperhatikan konteks sosial dan sejarah yang mempengaruhi individu, sehingga membentuk masyarakat yang peduli, bertanggung jawab, dan berpengetahuan luas. Namun, pengembangan program pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia perlu mempertimbangkan kritik perspektif Heideggerian untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara pemberdayaan individu dalam mencari makna kehidupan pribadi dan pengembangan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan yang melekat pada individu sebagai warga negara. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi diharapkan mampu menghasilkan warga negara yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual dan memperkuat rasa tanggung jawab sosial melalui keterlibatan kewarganegaraan sebagai warga negara muda dalam membangun ruang publik yang inklusif, adil, dan harmonis.

Abstract

Civics learning innovation in meeting the profile of future teacher candidates in the cyber pedagogy space with Honey and Mumford's theoretical approach with 4 student learning styles, namely theoretical, reflector, pragmatic, and activist. This study aims to describe civics learning in the 4.0 education era through a self-organized learning environment on student learning styles in the PPKn Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Medan. This study uses a qualitative method, the informants are lecturers of Civics Innovation courses at the PPKn Department of FIS Unimed; 2018 students, 2019 and 2020 as well as PPKn learning content. Obtaining data by observation, documentation study, and focus group discussion were then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that student learning styles tend to show reflector characteristics because they are influenced by the student learning environment with existing policies and rules, starting from the pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic environments the birth of the MBKM program policy. Students with three learning climate anomalies, namely pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic, have an impact on the learning styles of students who feel that face-to-face learning in the classroom has a significant difference compared to online learning. Citizenship learning in the 4.0 era requires readiness and establishment as users (lecturers and students) on internet-based digital platforms. Civics content has experienced significant development due to the influence of the era of fast-paced change, access to information and communication goes hand in hand and is renewable in sharing citizenship issues both on ethnicity, national and global scale

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana penghubung yang mempunyai peranan penting bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi, sosial budaya, dan menunjang pembangunan nasional. Membangun suatu konstruksi Jalan berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik tanah, hal ini disebabkan karena tanah merupakan salah satu material yang sangat berperan penting dalam mendukung suatu konstruksi Jalan. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini untuk mengindentifikasi kerusakan badan jalan dan mengetahui karakteristik tanah dengan uji California Bearing Ratio (CBR). sampel tanah diambil dari ruas jalan daerah Campang Raya, Kec. Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung. Pelaksanaan pengujian CBR dengan alat tekan pemadat standar dengan menggunakan tiga sampel tanah pada masing-masing yaitu 10 lapis, 25 lapis, dan 55 lapis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai CBR standard metode tumbukan di laboratorium 2% CBR rendaman dan 2,7% CBR tanpa rendaman, dimana Penetrasi CBR ini tanah dijalan Campang Raya termasuk definisi tanah jelek. Kata kunci : Kerusakan Jalan, Daya Dukung Tanah, Karakteristik Tanah, CBR.

Abstract

This study reviews research trends on teacher discourse in postdigital education by examining 26 Scopus-indexed publications from 2019 to 2024 retrieved using the keywords “postdigital education” and “teacher.” Findings reveal limited scholarly attention, with the Postdigital Science and Education journal leading in publication volume. A cluster analysis uncovered ten thematic groupings higher education, digital citizenship, professional digital competence, critical pedagogy, teacher education, COVID-19 responses, and datafication, among others. Seminal contributions include Rapanta et al. (2020) on teacher presence in online instruction; Hrastinski et al. (2019) on educators’ critical imaginaries amid AI and robotics; Green et al. (2020) on transition design for remote learning; Fawns et al. (2021) on ecological datafication frameworks; and Örtegren (2022) on digital competence for citizenship. By synthesizing these insights, the study reconceptualizes teachers as relational, ethical, dialogical, critical, and transformative “subjects-in-becoming” who actively shape learning environments, counteract algorithmic reduction, and foster democratic empowerment. It argues that future teacher-governance models must embrace socio-technical complexity through enhanced digital competence, locally grounded postdigital identities, critical pedagogy and curriculum co-creation, ecological data practices, and flexible, dialogical pedagogies aligned with digital-citizenship ethics. These insights inform future research and policy directions in education.
