Abstract

The demand to improve students' mathematical communication skills in solving problems is important in mathematics learning. With good mathematical communication skills, then a problem can be represented well and facilitated in its completion. The purpose of this researchs to describe the mathematical communication of high school students in solving logarithmic problems based on mathematical ability. The subjects of this research were 3 students of class X IPA 6 SMAN 1 Puri with details of 1 student with the highest mathematics ability, 1 students with medium mathematics ability, and 1 students with the lowest math ability. The selection of the subject of this research based on mathematics test, and the results of consultation with the mathematics teacher. Subjects were given the first mathematical communication test, then conducted interviews to dig deeper mathematical communication. After 2 weeks, they given the second mathematical communication  then interviewed.

Abstract

kewenangan dan bertujuan menjaga kerahasiaan informasi. Banyak perusahaan yang berupaya membentengi sistem keamanan datanya, tetapi ada juga perusahaan yang membentengi sistem keamanannya apa adanya. Salah satunya CV. AJI JAYA MANDIRI yang sistem keamanannya kurang sehingga rentan dimasuki oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab.Dari permasalahan tersebut muncul gagasan untuk melakukan pengamanan data dengan cara menyembunyikan informasi tersebut pada media digital lain agar tidak terlihat keberadaannya dan teknik ini disebut Steganography. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), sistem dirancang dengan dua buah proses utama yaitu tahap Embedding dan Extracting dan diimplemetasikan pada perangkat lunak Borland Delphi 7.0.        Aplikasi Steganografi ini bisa dijadikan salah satu alternatif pengamanan informasi rahasia tanpa perlu membuat pihak lain merasa curiga, karena tidak merubah ukuran file dan tidak menurunkan kualitas gambar sehingga tidak terdeteksi.Kata Kunci: Sistem keamanan data, Steganografi, Least Significant Bi

(Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang  4-5 September 2019. pp. 201-210.  Palembang: Unsri Press. Setaria grass is one of the superior types of grass for Ruminants which has not been widely cultivated due to limited planting land. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and first  production of Setaria grass planted on ultisol soil with the addition of Goat Manure Fertilizer (GMF). The study design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment is S0 = Ultisol Land, S1 = S0 + GMF 100 g/Polybag, S2 = S0 + GMF 150 g/Polybag, S3 = S0 + GMF 200 g/Polybag, S4 = S0 + GMF 250 g/Polybag, and S5 = S0 + GMF 300 g/Polybag. The variables observed were Plant Height, Number of Tiller, Fresh Weight, and Dry Weight. The data obtained were analyzed for variance (ANOVA) and further tests were carried out using the DMRT Advanced Test. The results showed that the treatment of GMF addition on Ultisol soil had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on Setaria grass height, Number of tillers, Fresh weight production, and Production of dry weight. Advanced Test Results DMRT shows the highest Setaria grass shown by S5 treatment (85.58 cm), the highest number of tillers indicated by treatment S5 (20.42 tillers), the heaviest fresh weight of Setaria grass shown by S5 (225.33 g), and weight the heaviest dryness is also indicated by S5 (46.50 g). The conclusion of this study is that the growth and production of Setaria grass planted on Ultisol soil significantly increased with the increasing dose of goat manure fertilizer.Keywords: growth, production, goat manure fertilizer, setaria grass, ultisol land

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil PISA 2018, kemampuan siswa Indonesia memperoleh skor di bawah rata-rata skor rata-rata OECD dalam membaca, matematika dan sains. Bisa disimpulkan kemampuan membaca dan matematika siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Sehingga diperlukan strategi penguatan literasi dan numerasi. Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar merupakan tindakan nyata dalam menguatkan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pentingnya strategi penguatan literasi dan numerasi bagi peserta didik pada kurikulum merdeka belajar yang melibatkan pihak-pihak yang berperan dan terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research) Pengkajian sumber-sumber pustaka untuk memperoleh data penelitian yaitu arikel penelitian dan buku-buku yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisi isi (content analys). Hasil penelitian ini adalah strategi peningkatan literasi dan numerasi melalui kerjasama antara pemerintah, sekolah, guru, kepala sekolah, siswa dan orangtua. Pemerintah melalui program-program yang berkualitas seperti gerakan literasi numerasi sekolah, asesmen kompetensi minimum, dan lain sebagainya. Sekolah melalui program yang komprehensif, dan menyediakan sarana prasarana yang mendukung pengembangan ketrampilan literasi numerasi matematis, kerjasama dengan guru terkait implementasi pembelajaran yang menekankan peningkatan literasi dan numerasi. Sedangkan orangtua dapat mendampingi dan memfasilitasi guru dan peserta didik serta melakukan pengawasan dan pengarahan dalam penggunaan media yang digunakan oleh siswa.Kata Kunci: Literasi, numerasi, merdeka, belajar

Abstract

Students are still not able to solve contextual questions that require the ability to reason well. Project Based Learning is a learning model that requires teachers and/or students to develop guiding questions (a guiding question). This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with lecturers and first-semester students as subjects of mathematics education study programs at Majapahit Islamic University Academic Year 2022/2023. Data collection techniques were in the form of direct observation of learning activities, interviews with lecturers and students, tests of students' mathematical reasoning abilities, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include 1) analysis of observational data, namely the activities of teachers and students during the process of learning mathematics; 2) data analysis of students' mathematical reasoning abilities test by paying attention to the mathematical reasoning scoring rubric. While the results of this study are that the application of the project-based learning (Pjbl) learning model has succeeded in increasing students' mathematical reasoning abilities, this is due to an increase in the average results of observations of the implementation of learning by lecturers and students as well as mathematical reasoning abilities in set material with project-based learning models from cycle I to cycle II

Abstract

The beneficial impacts of both extensive reading and digital project have been proved by some scholars to improve the students’ competencies. Besides, the environmental crisis in today’s era also needs to be executed. This research explains how ecopedagogy extensive reading and digital storytelling project stimulates students’ creativity and enhances reading encouragement as well as environmental awareness during the learning process. Thirty-six senior high school students were involved in this study. The data were obtained from students’ writing artifacts, classroom observations, and interviews. Employing qualitative case study, the results reveal that ecopedagogy extensive reading help senior high school students discover, express, and compose idea as well as cultivate their creativity in writing narratives. Specifically, the ecopedagogy approach used help students be aware of environmental problem and express the solution in their writing. This study recommends that using both extensive reading activities and digital writing projects is influential in enhancing students reading motivation, writing ability, and creativity.

Abstract

Research on transformational and transactional leadership to improve team performance has been done by many previous researchers, but it is still rare to conduct research with loci in the field of hotels. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain effective leadership strategies to improve team performance. The research method used was quantitative descriptive, while as a sample, all Sukasantai Farmstay Sukabumi hotel employees totaled 50 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire through Google Forms distributed to respondents. The results of the study stated that transformational and transactional leadership had a positive and significant influence on team performance, with an influence of 76.1% while other variables influenced 23.9%.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Akang Arfan Abdullah Syafi'i's interpretation of Sufism within the Judatul Uqba Pesantren in Sukabumi, West Java. The research focuses on how Syafi'i's Sufism has resonated with and attracted a significant following among the local community, encouraging them to engage deeply with Sufi practices in their daily lives. This phenomenon is evidenced by the extensive participation in Sufi recitations and the growth of the Yā Wakῑl congregation across Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the study gathers data through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. Central to Syafi'i's teaching is the concept of 'wushūl'—a spiritual connection to Allah SWT, facilitated through 'dzikr' (remembrance of Allah) and acts of charity. These practices are seen as dual pathways: 'dzikr' connects an individual to Allah (habl min Allah), while charity fosters interpersonal bonds (habl min an-Nās). The balance between these spiritual and social dimensions is posited as crucial for the cultivation of Islamic virtues and the attainment of the 'insān kāmil' or the perfect human being.

Abstract

Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) merupakan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki visi berperan aktif dalam pembangunan nasional untuk menunjang kebutuhan dunia industri. Konten website profil ITK tersebut masih berupa teks, gambar dan video. Konten seperti itu telah cukup dalam memperkenalkan ITK secara umum, namun hal tersebut kurang mendukung dalam melakukan pengenalan lingkungan kampus ITK khususnya lab terpadu secara spesifik dan interaksi antara pengguna hanya sebatas melihat konten. Dari hasil diskusi yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut menghasilkan solusi dengan melakukan rancang bangun metaverse berbasis website. Dengan diimplementasikanya sistem metaverse pada website profil ITK bertujuan untuk memberikan gagasan baru terkait pengenalan lingkungan Lab Terpadu ITK. Selain itu dibangunya metaverse ini kedepannya dapat menunjang aspek akademik lainya di ITK. Implementasi metaverse ini dibangun dengan metode multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) dan menggunakan tech stack seperti blender, threejs, react, nextjs dan pendistribusian menggunakan vercel. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan sebuah simulasi virtual berbasis website yang menampilkan lingkungan lab terpadu ITK dengan aset berupa bangunan gedung, ruangan lab, barang-barang di dalam lab, fasilitas dalam lab, dan karakter sebagai avatar pengguna. Sistem ini memiliki fitur interaksi dengan aset 3d dengan dua mode yaitu first person perspective dan immersive VR. Dengan sistem ini pengguna dapat lebih merasakan pengalaman interaktif melalui simulasi virtual pada lab terpadu ITK dan menjadi media alternatif yang digunakan ITK dalam memperkenalkan lingkungan kampus.

Abstract

This research aims to examine online learning in pandemic era using the Youtube channel with an inquiry approach. Student are axpected to be able to use Youtube for study to solve mathemathics learning problem online in the pandemic era in daily life. Online learning with an inquiry approach studied based pretest and post-test instruments. The reseach method used qualitative research with a descriptive research approach and implemented by online in this pandemic era. The sample included two students of ten grade in Samarinda and Mojokerto from odd semester year 2020/2021. This research instruments used essay questions to examine student’s problem-solving skills. The result of this research show that lack of student’s accuracy in solving problem, resulting in low post-test score obtained by student. Online learning in the pandemic used Youtube channel with inquiry approach has not been able effective to do.
