Abstract

This study examines the influence of Akang Arfan Abdullah Syafi'i's interpretation of Sufism within the Judatul Uqba Pesantren in Sukabumi, West Java. The research focuses on how Syafi'i's Sufism has resonated with and attracted a significant following among the local community, encouraging them to engage deeply with Sufi practices in their daily lives. This phenomenon is evidenced by the extensive participation in Sufi recitations and the growth of the Yā Wakῑl congregation across Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the study gathers data through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. Central to Syafi'i's teaching is the concept of 'wushūl'—a spiritual connection to Allah SWT, facilitated through 'dzikr' (remembrance of Allah) and acts of charity. These practices are seen as dual pathways: 'dzikr' connects an individual to Allah (habl min Allah), while charity fosters interpersonal bonds (habl min an-Nās). The balance between these spiritual and social dimensions is posited as crucial for the cultivation of Islamic virtues and the attainment of the 'insān kāmil' or the perfect human being.

Abstract

This article examines the development of the science of hadith as a crucial pillar in Islamic scholarly tradition and the emergence of the Qur'anists (commonly referred to as Ingkar Sunnah), who reject the authority of hadith as a source of Islamic law and teachings. The study explores the historical evolution of hadith science from the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the contemporary era, including the establishment of methodologies for sanad (chain of transmission) and matan (content) criticism, as well as the role of scholars in preserving the authenticity of hadith. On the other hand, the article analyzes the thoughts and arguments of Qur'anists, focusing on their historical background, factors contributing to their spread, and the ideological and practical implications of their rejection of hadith. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, the article finds that the development of hadith science has significantly contributed to safeguarding the authenticity of Islamic tradition, while the Qur'anist movement often arises as a response to specific social, political, and intellectual dynamics. This study highlights the importance of scholarly dialogue and comprehensive education in addressing the challenges posed by this group, while reinforcing the appreciation of hadith science as an integral part of Islamic intellectual heritage.

Abstract

From several theories that are widely expressed by experts about the beginning of the creation of the universe, as well as information about the universe both from the scientific or scientific side. This makes us as writers, want to retrace the understanding of how the concept of the beginning of the creation of the universe from the Qur'an or science, and understand all the contents of the universe that have been created in accordance with the Qur'an Hadith. This study aims to determine the conceptualization of the beginning of the creation of the universe in terms of the Qur'an or science. And to know the content of the universe that was created through the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This research uses historical research methods assisted by using the Big Bang theory, and scientific interpretation theory. This research will help readers know the beginning of the creation of the universe according to the Qur'an and science and know the content of the universe according to the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Representasi merupakan sebuah gambaran yang mewakili kejadian atau fakta yang nyata. Sementara moral adalah suatu sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh individu, tidak hanya yang baik namun juga yang buruk, yang kemudian diyakini dan diterima oleh orang lain. Dalam hal ini, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa budaya dan kehidupan sosial dari suatu masyarakat dapat direpresentasikan melalui berbagai hal, salah satunya melalui karya sastra, contohnya dialog dari sebuah film. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi nilai moral tokoh dalam film "مسامير الفيلم" dengan menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif berbasis data kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah dialog-dialog dari para tokoh pada film "مسامير الفيلم" yang berkaitan dengan representasi nilai moral menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah film "مسامير الفيلم" yang berdurasi 1 jam 50 menit. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam film ini terdapat berbagai nilai moral yaitu nilai moral cinta damai,  bertanggung jawab, kreatif, menghargai prestasi para pahlawan, toleransi, dan religius.
