Abstract

The Women are often used as political objects throughout the country to gain advantage in getting voice support to advance as representatives of the people or other political officials. This research is to analyze the culture of women as political object and want to know the factors that cause the influence of women is bigger when compared to men in West Aceh and Nagan Raya district. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive type. The analysis is done by relying on the findings of data that have been collected and relevant information from the bibliography (secondary data). This study uses the theory of Gabriel A. Almond and Malinowsky theory. The results of the study found that in Aceh Barat District and Nagan Raya District, the perpetrators were always used as political objects in seeking support to gain power based on the parameters of Political Socialization, Political Recruitment, Political Communication and Political Culture. Factors that cause women as a political object are: Money Politic and Poverty, Lack of Political Education, Women as the Majority as well as the Conditions of a Patriarchal Society. Keywords: Aceh Barat dan Nagan Raya, Budaya, Perempuan, Politik.

Abstract

Abstract

The emergence of Law No. 16 of 2011 on legal aid is expected to realize the right society in obtaining justice. Empirically, it is known that the law is enjoyed by many people who has the ability to pay a lawyer or advocate only. While the poor or who are not able to tend to resign with the circumstances, so that the term appears that we often hear, the blunt law upward, sharp down. In Rokan Hulu district of Riau Province the district government together with the DPRD welcomed The law immediately drew up local regulations on legal aid for the poor. It is stated in the rules of the Regional Regulation Rokan Hulu No. 6 on legal aid for the poor, but which became constraint is that in the area still minimal LBH (Legal Aid Institutions) are eligible to give advocacy for the poor in accordance with the requirements requested by the government, the Legal Aid Institute who has been accredited by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and accredited by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights many conditions must be met so that when there is a credible Legal Aid Institution in the area want provide legal assistance to the poor, but cannot be done because of being knocked by requirements required by the government. The hope is that the aspirations of our country in realizing the rights of society in obtaining this justice can be achieved, it needs further arrangements that lead to it the implementation of legal aid programs for these poor communities by taking into account the quantity of legal institutions there are and many conflicts that need to be given advocacy assistance for these incapable people.

Abstract

The Natuna Gas Field has a potential gas reserve of 222 TCF, but this gas field has a very high CO, content of up to 71%. The high composition of CO, content and its location, which is too far from the market, causes the best option to use the Natuna's gas by converting it to liquid. Dimethyl Ether (DME) is a choice of liquid products that have a good potential as alternative energy for household LPG. A more in-depth study of the options for using the Natuna's gas into DME product via direct process was carried out in this study. The methodology used is initiated by determining the type of facilities needed and then conducting a process simulation to determine the mass balance, energy balance, and design of the equipment used. Process simulation and economic simulation show that the Natuna Gas Field is technically feasible to be developed into a DME product with a capacity of 1,800 MMSCFD, resulting in 21,245 MT/day DME. Upstream and downstream integration economic scheme produces a better economic result (ROI: 6.34%) compared to an upstream economic scheme (ROI: 0.63%). Apart from that, tax incentives on the downstream scheme can increase the project economy, and the scenario of tax holiday is the most beneficial for developers and the government.

Abstract

A rapid gas chromatography method using a HP Plot/Al2O3 column for the determination of thirteen compounds of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) standard (ethane, propane, propylene, iso-butane, n-butane, trans-2-butene, 1-butene, isobutylene, neo-pentane, cis-2-butene, iso-pentane, n-pentane, 1,3 butadiene) was developed. The LPG components were separated in about 8 min by gradient elution program and helium was used as a carrier gas at a flow rate of 5 mL min-1, The relative standard deviation (RSD) for the LPG standard concentration were found to range between 0.27-1.91 % . The method had been applied to the determination of the 10 LPG samples. The composition of analyzed samples have comply with the Indonesian LPG specification for each parameter (C2<0.8 % mol, C3+C4>97 % mol and C5+.<2.0 % mol).

Abstract

The inhibitory effect of two Indonesian green tea extracts (containing various catechins) were investigated on the corrosion of mild steel (MS) in 1M HCl medium. The anticorrosion effect was evaluated by conventional weight loss method, potentiodynamic polarisation, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) studies and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique. The results evidenced that both the tea extracts act as a good corrosion inhibitor and the inhibition effi ciencies (% IE) were in good agreement for all the studies. Adsorption of green tea extract constituent was found to follow Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the calculated Gibb’s free energy values indicated the physisorption of inhibitor over the mild steel surface. SEM – EDX studies show the adsorption of catechin monomers which forms a protective layer over the mils steel surface. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis was carried out to quantify the catechin fractions in the tea extract and it was found that eight catechin monomers were present in both tea extracts. From all of monomers, it was found that four monomers were identifi ed as components responsible for controlling the dissolution of mild steel in 1 M HCl medium.

Abstract

The inhibition infl uence of Gambir extract in 1M Hidrocloric Medium on corrosion of mild steel in acidic solution was studied by weight loss measurements, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM method. It is believed that the phenolic compounds that contained in the Gambir extract in 1 M Hidrocloric medium to be responsible for the inhibition. The corrosion studies shows that Gambir extract gives an anodic type of inhibition and best at the concentration of 150 ppm. The inhibition effi ciency for weight loss measurement, potentiodynamic polarization measurement, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were 76.52, 88.28 and 66.27% respectively. SEM analysis shows that the morphology of inhibited mild steel was improved compared with uninhibited mild steel.
