Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the influence and explain the contribution of the labor force participation rate and the number of jobs to the unemployment rate. The location taken in this research is Indonesia, with cross-section data from 36 provinces in 2023. Data analysis in this research uses classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing with SPSS. Based on the calculation results, the level of labor force participation through education has a negative and significant influence on the unemployment rate in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the number of jobs created through education has no effect and is not significant on the unemployment rate. In addition, the labor force participation rate and number of jobs contribute to the unemployment rate of 65.9%. This confirms that the labor force participation rate and the number of jobs have a very significant influence on determining the unemployment rate. The labor force participation rate reflects how much of the population is actively looking for work, while the number of jobs indicates the availability of job opportunities in the economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of GDP factors according to Business Fields that affect the economic growth rate of Bojonegoro and Blora Regencies. This study uses secondary and primary data. This study uses secondary data, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) by Business Field on the basis of Constant Prices for the 2013-2023 Base Year, GDP, Secondary data sourced from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Bojonegoro and Blora Regencies. Data was obtained by documentation method. The data was processed using the Pearson Correlation Analysis technique using SPSS 20 to determine the strong or weak relationship between the 17 variables of the business sector (X) and the GDP variable (Y) of Bojonegoro and Blora Regencies.  Overall, Blora Regency shows a better growth rate, citing stronger economic diversification and sectoral stability than Bojonegoro Regency. This puts Blora in a better position to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth in the long term. In 2022, Blora Regency's GDP (based on constant prices in 2010) grew by 2.68% overall. If the fluctuating contribution of the oil and gas sector is excluded, Blora's economic growth will reach 5.95%, which indicates healthier economic diversification. On the other hand, although Bojonegoro Regency's GDP was recorded to be larger in nominal terms, namely IDR 97.52 trillion in 2023, its economic growth only reached 2.47% overall, with the growth of the non-oil and gas sector at 5.17%.

Abstract

Researchers believe that a leadership style that involves subordinates/employees in deciding things, is interactive with subordinates, has good closeness, and gives trust to employees can increase employee job satisfaction. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of Participative Leadership Style on employee job satisfaction. Different from previous research, this research adds the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable as a moderating variable which researchers believe can strengthen the influence of the Participative Leadership Style variable on Job Satisfaction. This research is quantitative research with an explanatory approach. The data used in this research is classified as primary data because the data collection method uses a questionnaire method which is distributed online to 300 Bank Permata employees spread throughout Indonesia. These data are used using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that Participative Leadership Style variable has a positive relationship and a significant influence on Job Satisfaction because the P-Values results are positive and are below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.006. Apart from that, the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable can moderate the influence of the Participative Leadership Style variable on job satisfaction because the positive p-values are below 0.05, namely 0.000. Even smaller than direct testing, 0.006. Thus, the first and second hypotheses in this research can be accepted and proven.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of education quality, labor absorption, and poverty level on the unemployment rate. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, utilizing secondary data in the form of a cross-section from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA) website. The population in this study was 34 provinces in Indonesia. The sampling technique applied was saturated sampling, where the entire population of 34 provinces was sampled. The data analysis used multiple linear regression for data testing. The study's findings indicate that individual testing shows a more diverse picture; education quality and poverty level do not affect the unemployment rate, and labor absorption positively affects the unemployment rate. This study has implications for the complexity of the unemployment issue and the importance of a holistic approach in formulating policies to address these problems. These results can be a reference for related parties to develop more effective policies and programs in dealing with unemployment problems.

The use of the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis method with the help of Eviews 12 was carried out to review the influence analysis on economic growth in Indonesia during the research period in the short and long term. Time series data used for this research from 1992-2022 were obtained from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The economic growth indicator is used as the dependent variable, while the poverty level, labor force level, unemployment rate and APBN are independent variables. The results of empirical tests using Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis determine that short-term and long-term poverty levels have a significant positive influence on economic growth in Indonesia. At the labor force level it has no significant effect either in the short or long term. However, the unemployment rate variable has a significant positive effect in the long term but no significant effect in the short term. and Realization of state revenues in the APBN does not have a significant long-term or short-term effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

This research methodology employs a qualitative approach with a focus on community engagement, combined with a literature review. Descriptive analysis is used to analyze data obtained from 27 selected articles taken from Google Scholar within the range of 2008-2024. The study findings indicate that in an era of globalization fraught with challenges, the development of managerial skills becomes paramount for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) practitioners. Despite their vital role in a country's economy, MSMEs often encounter difficulties in effectively managing their businesses due to insufficient knowledge and managerial skills. In this context, strategies for enhancing managerial skills through community-based education programs offer relevant and affordable solutions.

Abstract

One of the indicators used to see the success of development in an area is the level of economic growth. Economic growth is not only influenced by economic factors, but growth can be influenced by non-economic factors, one of which is demographic factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of demographic factors on economic growth in Indonesia in 2007-2022. The data in this study are secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics, using the multiple linear regression research method with the help of Eviews 12. The results show that partially the variable population growth has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, the labor force participation rate variable has a negative effect and not significant to economic growth and the dependency ratio variable has a negative and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia in 2007-2022. Simultaneously the variables of population growth, labor force participation rate and dependency ratio have a significant impact on the growth of the economy in Indonesia in 2007-2022.
