Abstract

Keterampilan membaca seringkali menjadi kendala di dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga pemahaman terhadap bahan bacaan menjadi sangat rendah. Penulis melakukan penelitian ini dikarenakan pemahaman siswa terhadap kegiatan membaca sangatlah rendah. Siswa menjawab pertanyaan dengan ragu-ragu dan tidak jelas padahal didalam teks bacaan telah dikemukakan dengan jelas. Hasil observasi peneliti yaitu hasil belajar siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks hanya 65% siswa yang mampu menjawab dengan nilai rata-rata secara klasikal 68,65. Untuk itu penulis meneliti tentang keterampilan membaca intensif di kelas III untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan dengan baik. Jenis penelitian yang penulis pilih yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dikarenakan penulis mengampu kelas III. Penelitian ini penulis laksanakan dalam 2 siklus dimana pada siklus 1 peserta didik ketika ditanyakan tentang proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung tadi mereka merasa senang karena kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan di luar kelas. dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks mencapai 65,38% dan siklus 2 88% siswa. Selanjutnya siswa yang mampu menjawab dengan nilai rata-rata secara klasikal 72,65 dan siklus 2 mencapai 85,13. Berdasarkan hasil yang penulis kemukakan maka penelitian ini dapat diakhiri dan penulis merasa bahwa group investigasi berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif siswa yang di pertegas oleh hasil belajar yang meningkat.

Abstract

Early in 2020, Pandemic Covid-19 spread in almost all regions of Indonesia which resulted in changing in the teaching process. Teaching was carried out by using various digital applications, one of which was WhatsApp application. The purpose of this study was to describe the teaching through WhatsApp application as a learning resource and tool, and to find out the effect of WhatsApp on the students’ reading ability at grade 1. The method in this study was a quantitative experimental research with a questionnaire, interviews, and observations as the instruments. The subjects of this study were grade I students who were registered in elementary schools and participating in teaching with WhatsApp. The results of the study illustrated that WhatsApp application used by the teacher was ineffective as a medium and learning tool for grade 1 elementary school students. The data revealed that 70% of parents stated that their children were not yet able to read, 12% of parents stated that their children were not able to recognize and pronounce words correctly. In conclusion, WhatsApp had no effect on students' initial reading abilitys during the Covid-19 pandemic as the result of the hypothesis testing indicated that the probability value (significance) was 0.000; thus, Ho was rejected. Using WhatsApp application as a medium for early reading was not recommended.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenguatan dan penanaman motivasi belajar ada di tangan guru, karena unsur terpenting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa  melalui metode Fun Reward. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Sedangkan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN 13 Lolong Kota Padang, dengan jumlah siswa  20 orang yang terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar anak melalui penerapan metode Fun Reward dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dan dinyatakan berhasil dengan skor pencapaian kelas 95% pada siklus II, meningkat dari 72% pada siklus I dan 69% pada siklus I. prasiklus, dan 35% pada prasiklus. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Fun Rewards dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa karena pelajaran yang disajikan guru menyenangkan.Kata Kunci: Penerapan, fun rewards, motivasi, siswa ABSTRACTStrengthening and instilling learning motivation is in the hands of the teacher, because the most important element in learning activities is the teacher. This study aims to increase student motivation through the Fun Reward method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Meanwhile, the subjects of this study were class II students at SDN 13 Lolong Kota Padang, with a total of 20 students consisting of 10 male students and 10 female students. The results showed that there was an increase in children's learning motivation through the application of the Fun Reward method with very good qualifications and was declared successful with a grade achievement score of 95% in cycle II, an increase from 72% in cycle I and 69% in cycle I pre-cycle, and 35% in cycle I. pracycle. Based on these data it can be concluded that the application of Fun Rewards can increase student motivation because the lessons presented by the teacher are fun.Keywords: Application, fun rewards, motivation, students

Abstract

This article discusses a case study of bullying behavior in elementary schools. Bullying can have a negative impact on victims, and this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe this phenomenon. Research methods include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research results show that bullying can occur in various forms, including verbal, physical and nonverbal. Many students in elementary school experience or witness incidents of bullying, which can cause serious psychological impacts. Factors such as students' socio-economic background also influence the high number of bullying cases in schools. Bullying behavior can have a negative impact on the social aspects of students in elementary schools. Efforts to prevent and handle bullying in elementary schools need to involve collaboration between schools and parents. Most of the references used in research are primary literature and are up to date.   r.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the early reading skills of second grade students of Tegalrejo III Elementary School through the application of the phonetic method. The problem underlying this study is the weak early reading skills of students in lower grades, which is evident from the inability to recognize letters of the alphabet, arrange syllables correctly, and read words without stuttering. The phonetic method was chosen because it emphasizes the introduction of letter sounds systematically and gradually, with the help of visual media such as pictures to associate letter symbols with concrete meanings. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which includes four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. Each stage is carried out sequentially and continuously to improve the learning process. This study involved 27 students in class 2A. The instruments used were observations to record learning activities and tests to measure students' early reading skills. The phonetic method directly helps lower grade students master the basics of reading, such as letter recognition and syllable arrangement, so that their reading results improve significantly. In cycle I, the average achievement of student abilities reached 78% with the category "Developing According to Expectations". Then the researcher designed cycle II where the aspects that experienced the highest increase were the ability to recognize letters (98%) and pronunciation (87%). Students showed active involvement, courage to read in front of the class, and a better understanding of word structure. The classroom atmosphere was also interactive and fun. It can be concluded that the phonetic method is effective as a strategy for learning to read early in elementary school classes, because it is able to foster technical reading skills as well as student learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh model pembelajaran ProjectBased Learning (PjBL) terhadap prestasi belajar. 2) Peningkatan Prestasi belajarmenggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalampembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila materi Keragaman budaya Indonesiaku kelasV SD Negeri Sembungan Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatifeksperimen dengan desain one group pre test – post test. Sampel dalam penelitianini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sembungan yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Metodepengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yangdigunakan menggunakan uji t-test (Paired sample t-test) Hasil dari penelitian iniadalah 1) Model pembelajaran PjBL berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadapprestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila materi Keragaman Budaya Indonesiaku padapeserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Sembungan, hal ini dilihat dari nilai t-test sebesar -12.183 dengan sig (2-tailed) 0,000 (< 0,05) yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaranPjBL berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasilamateri Keragaman Budaya Indonesiaku pada peserta didik kelas V SD NegeriSembungan. 2) Terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar dengan menggunakan modelpembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran PendidikanPancasila, hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata, pada pre test nilai rata-rata70,11 setelah diberikan perlakuan terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,06.Kata Kunci: Model Project Based Learning, Prestasi Belajar, Pendidikan Pancasila

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penggunaan punishment (hukuman) dan reinforcement (penguatan) dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SD Negeri Winongo. Kedisiplinan siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar yang tertib dan efektif. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan dapat diketahui bagaimana strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dan pihak sekolah dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung di kelas, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi terkait kegiatan yang mendukung kedisiplinan. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan dari hasil temuan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa punishment yang diberikan guru bersifat mendidik, seperti teguran, tugas tambahan, atau sanksi ringan, yang diterapkan secara adil dan konsisten. Sementara itu, reinforcement diberikan dalam bentuk pujian, hadiah, maupun penghargaan simbolik saat siswa menunjukkan perilaku disiplin. Berdasarkan triangulasi data dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kombinasi antara punishment dan reinforcement yang diterapkan secara tepat dan berimbang mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa secara signifikan.
