Abstract

This research was a development research that aim to produce teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets based un Contextual Teaching and Learning on Mirror material.  This study used ADDIE development model, with stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study used instruments in the form of worksheets validation sheets, worksheets material validation sheets, and posttest sheets. The result of the study showed that the worksheets developed had met the aspects of validity, and effectiveness. The validity aspect was shown by the results of the worksheets validation of 3,71 and the results of the worksheets material validation of 3,92 with very valid categories. The mastery of student learning outcomes amounted to be 77,8 (Effective), and mastery of learning objective was 78,8 including the effective category. So that it can be concluded that the worksheets developed were qualified and worthy of being used as a learning resource.

Abstract

The general purpose of this study was to describe the application of the jigsaw learning model on Light and Optical Devices material. The specific purposes were (1) describing the implication of the jigsaw learning model, (2) describing completeness of learning after applying the jigsaw learning model and (3) describing student responses after learning by applying the jigsaw learning model. This was a quantitative and qualitative descriptive research because the data obtained was the form of the nominal described. Data collection techniques in the study were observation, test and questionnaires methods. The data gained were analysed used qualitative and quantitative fly The results showed that The implementation of learning based on teacher activities at the first and second meetings goes an average of 82,35% with very good criteria. The value of completeness of students achieved 86 with complete criteria. Students’ positive response to model jigsaw learning reached 90,95% with very good criteria.

Abstract

The science learning includes on learning process and product. Improving the quality of science learning that emphasizes the learning process can be done by giving the scientific work experience to students.Thinking skills of learners to be one of life skills that are needed to address the increasingly complex problems of life in the information age. Teachers are expected to plan and implement accommodate learning thinking skills.Formal thinking skills is the ability of learners to receive intellectual stimulations in the process of science learning concepts microscopic properties. Formal thinking skills give a small role in the ability inkuri someone. The suitable approach to improve the ability of intellectual inquiry is inquiry approach. Using a inquiry approach in laboratory-based, students have many opportunities to obtain data directly, interpret data, create hypotheses, test these hypotheses and discuss them to draw a conclusion. In guided inquiry learning approach,students are also more stimulated to find their own concepts in science.The students who have already begun to enter the formal level of thinking has been able to develop their own skills to find something that can be used to solve the problems faced.

Abstract

In the natural science education study program of Universitas Hasyim Asy'ari Jombang UNHASY, textbooks based on biodiversity have never been developed and applied to biotechnology courses. This study aims to reveal the appropriateness of biodiverse entrepreneurship-based textbook based on validity and effectivity. This development model is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study instruments include validation sheets, learning outcomes assessment sheets, and entrepreneurship enthusiasm questionnaire. The validity percentage average by the material experts is 77, 08% with valid criteria. The validity percentage average by the media experts is 73, 6% with valid criteria. The result of the validity test by user, showed the average is 83, 4% with valid criteria. Next, the effectivity test showed that the classical completeness score is 73, 7% with good criteria and the percentage average of the entrepreneurship enthusiasm is 83, 95% with high criteria. It is concluded that the biodiverse entrepreneurship-based textbook is effective for developing students’ entrepreneurship enthusiasm.

Abstract

E-learning merupakan salah satu cara untuk membantu mewujudkan mutu pendidikan belajar yang baik. Metode penyampaian informasi melalui jasa internet ini dirasa sangat mudah dan lebih efisien dan tidak memakan waktu yang lama. Karena informasi yang baik adalah informasi yang akurat, mudah diakses atau cepat dan terbaru (up to date). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam empat tahap, yaitu (1) Perencanaan, (2) Persiapan, (3) Pelaksanaan, dan (4) Evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan melakukan workshop tentang pembelajaran e-learning kepada para Bapak/Ibu Dosen di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari  serta pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah yang pertama rata-rata pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai pembelajaran e-learning mengalami peningkatan. Adapun nilai rata-rata pre test sebelum adanya workshop adalah 51,5 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah dilakukan workshop adalah 85. Kedua, selama pendampingan para peserta memberikan respon positif dengan persentase 89 %.

Abstract

The coronavirus outbreak from 2019 had a significant impact on all sectors in Indonesia, especially the education sector, which requires learning from home. It provides a change in students' learning style to make educators change online-based learning using various platforms, one of which is the Physics Virtual Lab (PVL). This application is in a simulation designed explicitly physics practicum, accessed using a mobile phone. This study aims to determine how effective the use of PVL in fulfilling practicum activities is in terms of perceptions and competencies of students' attitudes. The research method is descriptive research to obtain an overview of PVL applications in physics practicum using domestic used materials. The subjects in this study were students of the first-semester science education study program who took the Basic Physics course—collecting data using perception questionnaires and attitude assessment sheets. The average student perception score is 4.22. Then, the students' attitude competence results obtained an average score of 80.88 integrity; independence 74.89; confidence 75.17 and responsibility 84.89. It shows that the implementation of PVL builds students' integrity and responsibility.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, an educator must be creative and can use engaging learning media. Learning media is expected to be able to help educators to deliver the subject matter well. Therefore, an educator (teacher) must have the minimum skills, proficiency, and expertise that meet specific standards and competencies. One of the gifts is content knowledge. Content Knowledge (CK) is the initial ability of an educator that should be mastered in mastering learning material (understanding of material concepts). To master the ability of good content knowledge in science teacher candidates, one can see from the students' ability to create and compile learning media. This study aims to: determine (1) the ability of content knowledge of science teacher candidates in making learning media based on indicators, and (2) the significance of content knowledge of science teacher candidates in making learning media. The research method used is a quantitative description. The research subjects were 15 students of the Science Education Study Program in the academic year 2018. The research instrument used was the content knowledge assessment sheet. The results showed that: (a) the ease of media used 75.73% (good category), the suitability of the media with the characteristics of students 77.53% (good), the accuracy of the media with the material and learning objectives 73% (good), and the attractiveness of the media 80.67 % (well). It also showed that (b) there is a significant difference in students' content knowledge in making learning media with significant value (2-tailed) 0,05, which is 0,000.

Abstract

Abstrak   Mata kuliah (KMA504) disajikan dalam semester genap bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Malang. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, Program Pascasarjana angkatan 2013 kerjasama dengan pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur yang mengikuti perkuliahan Kimia Organik (KMA504) sejumlah 23 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa peserta Kimia Organik (KMA504) dengan pemberian tugas presentasi kelompok dan penulisan jurnal metakognitif. PTK ini dirancang dalam 2 (dua) siklus, yang setiap siklusnya meliputi 4 (empat) tahap yaitu, siklus I terdiri: (1) Perencanaan yaitu penyusunan kelompok berdasarkan nilai pretes, pendistribusian sub materi pokok yang akan dipresentasikan oleh tiap kelompok, penyampaian daftar rujukan dan menyiapkan alat penilaian; (2) Pelaksanaan yaitu PBM (presentasi oleh tiap-tiap kelompok belajar); (3) Observasi yaitu penilaian unjuk kerja presentasi semua kelompok, dan melakukan penilaian hasil belajar; (4) Analisis dan Refleksi, menarik kesimpulan bahwa siklus I belum memuaskan karena rerata skor tes adalah 65,12. Kesimpulan ini mengakibatkan bahwa siklus II harus dilaksanakan. Tahap-tahap Siklus II pada hakekatnya langkah-langkahnya hampir sama dengan Siklus I, kecuali pada Siklus II ditekankan pada penulisan jurnal metakognitif. Hasil Siklus Siklus II memuaskan karena rerata skor tes adalah 81,81. Terjadi kenaikan rerata sebesar 16,69. Tugas presentasi kelompok dan penulisan jurnal metakognitif menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih baik, selain itu penulisan jurnal metakognitif juga telah mampu memacu antusiasme dalam belajar. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tugas presentasi kelompok dan penulisan jurnal metakognitif dapat memberdayakan mahasiswa peserta Kimia Organik (KMA504).

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities during the current pandemic require the learning process to be carried out using a remote method with an online system. Evacuation of learning must also be done online during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the online methods in evaluating learning is the google form.The objectives to be achieved from this research are to describe the process of developing a google form-based question instrument for global warming class VII SMP/MTS and describe the results of products that have passed the validation process. This research is a type of development research, using the ADDIE model.The results of the study showed (1) the google form-based question instrument was included in the valid category of 92%. (2) 10 multiple-choice questions that were developed obtained 1 valid item; reliability 0.80 discriminatory power with good category there are 9 questions, namely number 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and questions with poor discriminating power are in question number 2; 10 items that have been tested are classified in the difficult category consisting of 7 items and the moderate category there are 3 items; 10 items containing distractors really work

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model project based learning (PjBL) dalam perkuliahan metodologi penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan rancangan one grup pretest postest. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan non-probability sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired t test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan ada perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan model project based learning (PjBL) berdasarkan rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari nilai pretest hingga posttest dan nilai t hitung lebih besar nilai t tabel. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran PjBL dapat direkomendasikan untuk dapat diimplementasikan pada perkuliahan lainnya karena pembelajaran ini dapat mendidik dan memotivasi terhadap tugas akademik untuk bisa care, self-efficacy, dan responsibility.
