Abstract

Pembelajaran daring selama pandemic covid-19 kurang efektif, motivasi belajar siswa menurun karena keterbatasan guru dan peserta didik dalam menguasai media pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan non-kognitif essential siswa SMP yang berupa motivasi intrinsic dan self-efficacy pada pembelajaran daring berbantukan media virtual laboratorium berbasis android. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan instrument angket pernyataan skala likert pada 5 skala jawaban. Pernyataan berjumlah 10 pernyataan untuk motivasi intrinsic dan 15 pernyataan untuk self-efficacy. Kuesioner diberikan kepada siswa setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem peredaran darah menggunakan media virtual laboratorium. Subject penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kadudampit yang diambil 30 siswa sebagai sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase skor siswa untuk motivasi intrinsic dalam pembelajaran IPA adalah 74,80 % dengan kriteria baik, serta persentase skor self-efficaccy dalam pembelajaran IPA adalah 75,18 % dengan kriteria baik. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan keterampilan non-kognitif essential siswa dalam pembelajaran daring IPA pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia menggunakan media virtual laboratorium termasuk dalam kriteria baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir logis siswa berbasis gender Di SMPN VIII. penelitian  dilakukan Pada kelas VII. Penelitian ini pada bulan maret. Tes untuk mengukurnya menggunakan Tes berpikir logis (TOLT). Sample populasi dilakukan dengan random sampling. Berdasarkan gender dapat dikelompokan antar kemampuan dari hasil yang diperoleh tes oleh siswa-siswi bahwa presentasi berpikir logis dengan indikator yaitu Proportional reasoning siswa laki-laki 18% > 13% siswa Perempuan , Controlling variabel siswa laki-laki 20% > 13% siswa perempuan, Probabilistic reasoning siswa laki-laki 8% > 5% siswa perempuan, Correlational reasoning siswa laki-laki 2% = 2%  siswa perempuan, Kombinatorial reasoning siswa laki-laki 83% > 43% siswa perempuan dengan presentasi laki-laki maka lebih dominan berpikir logis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the Frequent Practical Work learning method on the level of Self Efficacy and cognitive learning outcomes of high school students. Frequent Practical Work or repetitive work practices are carried out in various ways. In this study, practical work refers to the teaching and learning activities of biology. This research was conducted in one of the senior high schools in the city of Sukabumi with a research sample of 24 students in the control class and 26 students in the experimental class. In the control, class learning is done using conventional methods while in the experimental class learning is done using the Frequent Practical Work learning method. The results show that the level of effectiveness of the Frequent Practical Work learning method in the experimental class is quite effective for learning. In the experimental class, the level of Self Efficacy is in the high category, while in the control class the level of Self Efficacy is in the medium category. In the experimental class, the students' cognitive learning outcomes have a higher class average than in the control class.Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar Kognitif, Frequent Practical Work, Self Efficacy,

Abstract

This class action research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing scientific activities and visualization of subject matter. Research subjects in this study were high school students of Muhammadiyah High School in Sukabumi City (n = 20). The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice test to measure student learning outcomes, student observation sheet activities and interviews. The research method is classroom action research. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of scientific activities and visualization. scientific activities and visualization of subject matter can learners construct knowledge so that student learning outcomes have increase.

Abstract

Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) is knowledge of the material and how to teach it. The teacher uses the textbook as a reference when implementing the learning process. Therefore, the teacher's book must conform to the PCK component. The purpose of this study was to study the percentage of PCK components in the teacher's book. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with the subject of research by selecting chapters that enter the organ system, namely the human digestive system, human blood circulation system, human respiratory system and human excretion system. Based on the results of research that has been analyzed shows the emergence of PCK components in the teacher's book related to the 24.8% Natural Science meeting, the knowledge of the Natural Sciences curriculum 46.3%, the knowledge of 53.6% student understanding and the knowledge of the 54% Natural Science learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of online assessment in assessing the concept and self-efficacy of high school biology material. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research. The study population was high school students in Sukabumi Regency. The samples used were 76 students of class X and XI in Sukabumi Regency and 2 Biology teachers. Data collection instruments in the form of interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the student's questionnaire had a percentage of 68.11 (fair enough category), meaning that the implementation of the assessment for mastering the concepts and self-efficacy of students was quite good. The results of teacher interviews stated that the Assessments carried out were not varied due to challenges in daring learning. The bloom taxonomy used by Biology teachers at SMAN 1 Jampang Tengah in measuring concept mastery was C1, C2, C3, and C4 and not used C5, and C6.  In addition, the teacher assessed peer-to-peer that made students understand the material being taught and affect student self-efficacy.  It appears that the implementation of online assessment at the Sukabumi Regency Senior High School is already in the good category. It might need innovation and improvement in the future to control students' concepts and self-efficacy.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendalaman materi matematika pada materi peluang binomial dihadirkan sebagai sarana seorang guru untuk belajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peningkatan penguasan materi seorang guru, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Peserta pada kegiatan pendalaman ini adalah dosen, guru dan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dengan ruang lingkup nasional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanan secara daring melalui media teleconference Zoom. Kegiatan pendalaman materi peluang binomial ini terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan yaitu  dengan pemberian pre-test, pemaparan materi, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta kegiatan penutup yaitu refleksi dan pemberian post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemahaman peserta mengenai materi peluang binomial mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 33 dan nilai postest adalah 56. Kata kunci: pendalaman materi; peluang binomial. ABSTRACTThe deepening of mathematical material on binomial probability material is presented as a means for a teacher to learn. This activity aims to increase the mastery of a teacher's material to improve the quality of mathematics learning. Participants in this deepening activity are lecturers, teachers, and mathematics education students with a national scope. This activity was carried out online through the Zoom teleconference media. The activity of deepening the material on binomial probability consists of preliminary activities by giving a pre-test, presentation of material, discussion, question and answer, and closing activities by reflection and giving post-test. This activity shows that participants' understanding of the binomial probability material has increased, which is indicated by the increase in the average pretest score of 33 and the posttest score of 56. Keywords: the deepening of material; binomial probability.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an inquiry-based online module with the content of Sukabumi local wisdom. This type of research is the development of the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, evaluation). The research subjects were biology teachers, 99 students of class X MIPA and social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Sukaraja and validators. The instruments used in this study were material expert validation sheets and media experts to obtain the results of the online module validity test and student response questionnaires with the teacher to obtain the online module practicality test results. The results of the study show that (1) Expert validation states that the online module is a very valid category in terms of material, learning and display aspects. (2) Teachers and students gave a very good response to the online module and included in the very practical category. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that the development of online modules using the ADDIE model with a validation and evaluation process at each stage can produce valid products and produce modules that have a high practical value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Argument Driven Inquiry learning model on higher-order thinking skills based on the learning style of VIII grade junior high school students on the excretory system material. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design, with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples of this study were students of class VIII F as the experimental class, and class VIII D as the control class at SMP Negeri 6 Sukabumi City. The instrument used is in the form of high-level thinking ability test questions or questionnaires in the form of multiple choice questions as many as 27 questions. The second instrument is using a student response questionnaire to learning using the Argument Driven Inquiry model which consists of 10 questions, and the third instrument is a student learning style questionnaire consisting of 33 statements. Based on the results of the average post-test scores in the experimental class and control class obtained 82.29 and 67.48. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test of the Argument Driven Inquiry learning model, the value of Sig. 0.000, then there is a significant effect of the Argument Driven Inquiry learning model on the students' higher-order thinking skills in junior high school.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning methods requires students to be in front of a screen for a longer time. This light exposure is thought to be related to emerging problems such as academic stress. Therefore, researchers want to know the profile of student stress levels during the distance learning period during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used observational research methods with a cross-sectional research design. The research subjects were students of the Biology Education UMMI with 58 respondents. Stress level data was obtained through the DASS-42 questionnaire. The results showed that 39.65% of students were active in front of gadget screens for learning activities for 8 to 10 hours per day, and 48.28% of students used gadgets before going to bed. In addition, based on the DASS-42 questionnaire, it shows that students in general are at a moderate level of stress (41.38%), a very severe level of anxiety (36.21%), and a normal level of depression (56.90%).Penerapan metode pembelajaran daring mengharuskan mahasiswa berada di depan layar dalam waktu yang lebih lama. Paparan cahaya ini diduga terkait dengan masalah-masalah yang muncul seperti stres akademik. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin mengetahui profil tingkat stres mahasiswa selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian observasional, dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi, UMMI sebanyak 58 responden.  Data tingkat stres diperoleh melalui kuesioner DASS-42. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 39,65% mahasiswa beraktivitas di depan layar gadget untuk kegiatan belajar selama 8 sampai 10 jam per harinya dan 48,28% mahasiswa menggunakan gadget sebelum tidur. Selain itu, berdasarkan kuisioner DASS-42 menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa secara umum berada pada tingkat stress kategori sedang (41,38%), tingkat kecemasan kategori sangat parah (36,21%), tingkat depresi normal (56,90%).Kata kunci: stres akademik, pembelajaran daring, screen timeDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v10.i3.26477
