Pemikiran liberalisasi Islam sudah ditanamkan sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda. Namun secara sistematis dari dalam tubuh organisasi Islam, gerakan liberalisasi Islam di Indonesia bisa dimulai pada awal 1970-an. Pada 3 Januari 1970, ketua umum Pengurus Besar Himpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia (PBHMI), Nurcholish Madjid, secara resmi menggulirkan perlunya dilakukan sekularisasi Islam. Selanjutnya, kelompok Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL) didirikan oleh para aktivis Utan kayu, di Jakarta pada 8 April 2001.Kelompok ini turut mewarnai maraknya liberalism dan mempromosikan gagasan Islam liberal (JIL).Secara historis, kemunculan JIL merupakan respon atau gerakan tandingan terhadap gerakan-gerakan fundamentalis-radikal di Indonesia yang mengemuka tidak lama setelah lengsernya Suharto pada tahun 1998.Dalam posisinya sebagai kelompok yang memperjuangkan ruang publik di Indonesia, JIL berperan sebagai counter discourse bagi kelompok-kelompok radikal-konservatif Muslim yang selalu menyerukan penerapan syariat dan pembentukan negara Islam Indonesia. Bagi JIL, Indonesia adalah bangsa majemuk/plural yang membutuhkan ruang publik.Apapun yang menyangkut urusan bersama harus dimusyawarahkan secara bebas dan demokratis.Selama keberadaannya, JIL terus mendukung sistem demokrasi, kebebasan, dan kesetaraan sosial.Sedangkan secara ideologis, terbentuknya JIL dapat dilihat sebagai kristalisasi dan kelanjutan dari pemikiran dan gerakan Islam sebelumnya, baik dalam lingkup Indonesia secara khusus maupun di dunia secara umum.

Foster children's interest in learning according to Islamic education that is suitable for children who have extraordinary interests. This paper will also describe the interests and learning, and the factors that influence the emergence of interests and interests in the view of Islamic education. Likewise, the factors that are seen in fostering children's interest in learning will be raised, and the characteristics of interested children and obstacles in fostering children's interest in learning. This paper is analyzed using the literature method. This paper try to find out more about how to foster learning interests of children who have extraordinary interests will be explained about the need to pay attention to the interests of children who have potential who expect help from those who are entitled to help, and more importantly in growing children's interest is encouragement in more appropriate learning that, and more importantly the child to realize and actualize the interests that exist in each child

The focus of the problem statement of this article is whether the educational environment can develop English vocabulary? This study aims to find out that the education environment can develop students’ vocabulary. The significance of this study is expected to give useful information on English teaching and learning process, especially in learning English vocabulary based on the education environment. In this case, the researcher used experimental as a research method, and She used random sampling technique in choosing the sample. Vocabulary test as a research instrument, it consists of 20 items, then pretest and posttest were used to collected data, statistic analysis as a technique of data analysis. Based on the result of the data analysis and the discussion of the result in the previous chapter, the writer would like to put forward conclusion that the school environment is a good medium in the teaching-learning process especially to develop students’ vocabulary

This article aims to unravel the concept of moderation education in the Qur'an. The method used is a qualitative analysis method by reviewing the literature on the concept of moderation education in the Qur'an, as well as other references from several articles that are considered relevant and representative. The results of the study and discussion show that moderation education is a concept that educates not to be extreme, radical, and tolerant of religion. That is the characteristic of Islam. Islam always takes the middle way in its guidance. The peaceful, moderate, and tolerant face of Islam will have an impact on peace for mankind.

The aim of this research was to know the Students learning startegy and motivation in developing the students’ speakin gability at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare).The researcher was applying at six thse mester of English department (IAIN Parepare) through had escriptive qualitati veresearch. This research were using three kinds of instruments. The first instrument wastest, where the purpose of this instrument was to know the student tabilityin speaking. The second was interview, the aim of this instrument was to know what strategy that the student use to develop their speaking. The last was question naire, where this instrument was to know the motivation of the student in order to develop their speaking. After analyzing the data from the question naire the research erfound that students in the high andlow category have the same strong motivation in developing their speaking. However, interms of using strategy, the students in high category use more variated strategies than thelow category. The students in high category mostly apply cognitive and metacognitive strategy while the students in low cataegory mostly used social strategy.

In studying English, the first component that has to learn is vocabulary. Someone who wants to master 4 language skills, he has to master a few words even everything. When learning listening, needs vocabulary, reading needs vocabulary, especially when learning to write, all needs vocabulary. That is the reason why the students have to master the vocabulary in learning English. This research was aimed to see the improvement of vocabulary mastery of students before and after learning process through blindfold game. The results of the research are useful for the teacher and students. The teacher should aware that it is important to supplied before teaching make the students more active in learning process. The researcher was conducted at MTs DDI Lil Banat Parepare, the sample of this research were the students of VIII.C class which is consisted 19 students. This research was used pre-test and post-test data. The result of this research showed that there was improving of students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on the analysis, the researcher found that Blindfold game is able to improve the vocabulary mastery. The students’ vocabulary mastery was improved significantly by mean score of the pre-test was 46.05 and the mean score of posttests was 78.57, they showed that the mean score in post-test was better that the mean score in pre-test. Thus, alternative hypothesis ( ) stating that Blindfold game could improve the students’ vocabulary mastery and could make the classroom be active.

This study aims to see the improvement of vocabulary mastery students by using word clap game at the fourth grade of SDN 173 Tiroang Kabupaten Pinrang. The object is IV class which is consisted 25 students. The sample is taken by using classroom random sampling. The design is pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design and questionnaire to know the students’ respond. The students did the pre-test, got the treatment, did the post-test and questionnaire in the last meeting. Then the criterion of vocabulary mastery of students about noun that consist of three points are memorize, pronounce and writing. It aimed to know whether using word clap game is able to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. The result indicates that there is improvement of the students’ vocabulary mastery. It is indicated by the students’ mean score of post-test (79,52) is greater than pre-test (43,83). Even, for the level significant (p) 5% and (df) = N-1=25-1= 24, and the value of the T- table is 1.710, while the value of t-test is 4.592. It means that, the t-test value is greater than t-table (4.592 ≥ 1.710). Thus, it can be concluded that the vocabulary mastery students is significant better after getting the treatment. The students’ response through the questionnaire by using scale likert also had concluded on the finding, the result showed all the students’ answered positive and most of them got 81-100; the students are very interest in learning English by using word clap game.

The purpose of this research is to present a historical review and critique of the actions of radicalism on the basis of fundamentalism in Indonesia. This research is motivated by the development of discourse related to fundamentalism and radicalism which is often identified to Islam group with negative connotation in Indonesia. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with a historical-critical study method. Data were collected through literature studies and related literature of several Islamic organizations consisting of; Darul Islam Or Islamic State of Indonesia (NII); Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia (MMI); Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI); and the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). The results show that fundamentalism and radicalism is a verbic word whose roots are not contained in the language of Muslims in various Arabic speaking countries. Fundamentalism by term is the assertion of certain religious activists who define religion absolutely and literally. Fundamentalism as a reaction to modernism emerged in the nineteenth century. At that time, modernism appeared very fiery in the United States. In the era of the 1990s, there was a change of format and fundamental strategy in radical Islamic movement in Indonesia. If in previous years this movement runs latently and always confronted by the State so as to generate political fear for Muslims then in the era of the 1990s radical Islamic movement appears openly, as seen in the movement Laskar Jihad, Jamaah Islamiah Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah, Ikhwanul Muslimin, Mujahidin Jamaah, Nurul Fikr, Islamic Defenders Front and Hizb ut-Tahrir Based on the results of research, author concluded that Fundamentalism and radicalism is not a term derived from Islam but the term of Christianity which is today used for Islam. Both fundamentalism and radicalism potentially exist to any group, whether religious, social, or political. It occurs in any religion. Fundamentalism can be a virtue if it is not performed by the action of radicalism. Therefore, the solution to the value of tolerance in fundamentalism is a deep understanding of belief or religion.

Tuntutan dan desakan umat manusia agar dapat mandiri dan tidak tergantung kepada lembaga-lembaga yang dapat merekrut nantinya setelah terjun ke dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, dalam menjawab persoalan ini lembaga pendidikanlah yang berkompeten dalam membina manusia memiliki sumber daya akseptabel dan marketabel. Pendidikan merupakan suatu usaha membina manusia agar memiliki inteligensi yang tinggi, bermoral dan berskill. This study seeks to explain the Islamic education development strategy based on the output (output) in Pesantren Sunan Drajat, East Java. This study is very important, considering the main issue of Islamic education today is its output where to go in the development of industry and technology. Many people judge if output Islamic educational institutions are not able to compete with other educational institutions. So in this study, I will expose the antithesis of all the criticism that comes. The method used in researching is a descriptive qualitative analytic approach. It is taken directly from your data source field as the primary data by purposive sampling. This research concludes several things, including: first, the design of Pesantren Sunan Drajat is oriented towards two things; potential development of students as scientists and economists and prepare competent graduates of the schools to be healthy and competent at the development of the industrial era. Second, schools apply four methods of seed; 1) The flipped classroom method. 2) methods cooperative system. 3) corporate methods of rule. 4) The simulation method of practice. Third, to prepare a well-established and competitive output, then boarding apply two strategies; placing its graduates as the successor to struggle in the company and take advantage of the boarding business partner network to use the services of graduates as a capable force.
