Koperasi Serba Usaha Baringin Siduampan (KSU-BS) caused, a change in the economy of the community in Jorong Siduampan which was the majority of the community's livelihood as rice farmers and after the existence of cooperatives most of the people planted oil palm and also caused the community's economy to improve. This research is a type of historical research that is composed of four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and writing. The results of this study indicate that: Koperasi Serba Usaha Baringin Siduampan s a cooperative unit formed in collaboration with PT. Bintaran Tani Nusantara (PT. BTN) which functions as an Engineering Advisor and avails. The first business unit was a plasma plantation and in 2007 it was the beginning of the plasma plantation harvest. In 2008 the cooperative established a cocoa drying business. In 2010, the business units that had been run were the plasma plantation business unit, the transportation unit, the cocoa drying business unit and savings and loan business unit. In 2012, the all-running cooperative business unit was a plasma plantation and transportation business unit. In 2015, the plasma plantation business unit and the transportation business unit and there were 3 units of old units sold and replaced with 2 new units

This thesis is a study of economic history that discusses the development of the "Anak Abak”skin cracker industry on the Durian Tarung street in Pasar Ambacang sub-district, Kuranji Padang sub-district. Exposure on the struggle of the micro-scale industry or home industry that departed from loan capital with the diligence of the business carried out by Jamasri, the skin cracker entrepreneur, has now paid off and is able to contribute to the surrounding community by recruiting 7 permanent employees, giving the community the opportunity to participate in marketing the results of crackers and opportunities as a supplier of routine needs for the production of "Anak Abak” skin crackers.This research method is qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation openly with four types of respondents namely; Businessmen, Employees, Communities Around Industrial Locations and Traders who sell “Anak Abak” skin crackers around industrial sites. Using in-depth interview techniques with interview guidelines.From the results of the research, information about the historical development of the tides of the struggle of the home industry has been obtained, and in the form of a review of business management that describes the production process, capital management, raw materials, and marketing of the results of the production of skin crackers. Besides that, it was also explained the role of the “Anak Abak” skin cracker industry on improving the economy, explained in terms of job creation, as well as its impact on the economic level of the surrounding community and on its own business actors.

Kehidupan masyarakat Kelurahan Purus Kecamatan Padang Barat Kota Padang tergolong miskin. Pertanyaannya bagaimanakah mendorong perubahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan merek serta merimplikasi bagi peningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sejarah sosial ekonomi pesisir. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa pengembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan merupakan satu langkah yang bisa ditempuh untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga pesisir. Hal ini karena sebahagian besar masyarakat yang berpendapatan rendah juga berpendidikan rendah. Banyak pelatihan yang memungkinkan untuk dilaksanakan. Dari dua jenis pelatihan telah menunjukkan berupa pelatihan menjahit dan pelatihan penulisan dampak positif secara pengetahuan dan keterampilan mulai terjadi. Meskipun masih ada tantangan dalam peningkatan ekonomi secara sigifikan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah dan perkembangan Industri Kacang Atom GDR di Nagari Panyalaian Kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar, dalam fokus kajian pada perkembangan industri sejak tahun 1992 sampai tahun 2020 serta manajemen dan strategi yang digunakan untuk dapat bertahan. Penelitian ini penting karena Industri Kacang Atom GDR telah ada sejak tahun 1992 sampai sekarang dan mengalami perkembangan dari berbagai bidang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan perkembangan Industri Kacang Atom GDR mulai dari proses berdiri, perkembangan dan manajemen dari segi permodalan, tenaga kerja, produksi dan bahan baku, pemasaran serta strategi yang digunakan untuk dapat bertahan menghadapi berbagai hambatan. Juga dipaparkan dampak yang dirasakan oleh pemilik usaha, karyawan dan masyarakat dalam bidang perekonomian.

This research was motivated by the establishment of a PIR BUN OPHIR Pioneering KPS cooperative in charge of managing oil palm plantations in jorong Jambak, West Pasaman district. Almost all of the Jorong Jambak people are farmers of Oil Palm Plasma Plantations. This plantation experienced ups and downs but in 2003 the Oil Palm Plasma Plantation reached its peak. This is evidenced by the development of the Jorong Jambak community's economy until now. This study aims to look at the Economy of the Community of Palm Oil Plasma Plantation in Jorong Jambak Nagari Koto Baru, Luhak Nan Duo District, West Pasaman Regency (2003-2019). The method used in this study is a historical research method which is divided into 4 stages. First, the heuristic step is to find and collect data. The second stage of source criticism, is divided into two namely external criticism and internal criticism to find the validity of the source under study. Thirdly, the interpretation or analysis of data by summarizing all data in order to obtain a picture based on the formulation of the problem in this study. The four stages of historigrafi, namely the writing of research reports into scientific writing, namely thesis. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Oil Palm Plasma Plantation has grown rapidly since 2003. Besides that, public facilities such as health, education and sports facilities were also built. People's livelihoods began to vary due to the existence of these plantations such as traders, employees, and so forth.

This article will discussion about the social economy of Veteran of Padang City between year 1983 until year 2018. Because the independence of Indonesia on Ougust, 17, 1945 is struggle of heroes that concist of soldier and Indonesia’s veteran. The research is history research that using historical method. The heurictic proces was collect document, observation and interview. The conclusion of this research is the Indonesia’s veteran had struggle but part of them after independence of Indonesia is not prosperous. There is something wrong. Begin of the year 2012 was good news that the Indonesia’s veteran was gived allowance by goverment. The UU No 15 Tahun 2012 had manage of the action.

Bungus is one of six the samudera fishery harbour in Indonesia. To operation the Samudera harbour should be follow the mission, aim and target. This article wants to proving the concistantion of program. Especially the coming of the fishey ship and fsh production in Samudera Bungus fishery harboar between the year 2001 until the year 2017. The reseacrh was using history method that consist of 4 process; heuristic, critic, interpretation and historiography. Many data had collect to this research likes each year of report of Bungus Samudera office and interview recording. The critic proces had only comparing data. The thirth method proces is analysis of fact and historiograhy depend of sistematic of the writing likes chapters. The result of the research is Fishery Harbour Samudera Bungus had low grate coming of the ship and fish production comparing of other fishery harbour in Indonesia.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang perkembangan ekonomi masyarakat pengelola ikan kering di Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo. Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo termasuk penghasil ikan terbesar di Kota Padang, sehingga mayoritas masyarakat yang bermukim di Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo mengandalkan kehidupan ekonomi dari hasil laut. Namun masih banyak masyarakat Pasie Nan Tigo yang hidup dalam ekonomi yang rendah. Untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga, banyak masyarakatyang berusaha mencari lapangan usaha baru. Salah satunya yaitu dengan mengelola ikan kering.Penelitian ini menggunakapan metode sejarah dengan beberapa langkah yaitu heuristik (mengumpulkan data), Kritik Sumber (melakukan kritik terhadap sumber data), Interpretasi (melakukan penafsiran yang berhubungan dengan fakta sejarah), historiografi (penulisan sejarah). Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa berkembangnya usaha pengelolaan ikan kering ini mampu meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat pengelola ikan kering diPasie Nan Tigo. Sejak tahun 2001 usaha pengolahan ikan kering ini semakin berkembang dan memberikan pengaruh besar tehadap kehidupan ekonomi masyarakat pengelola ikan kering, sehingga pemerintah menjadikan Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo sebagai sentral pengolahan ikan yang ada di Kota Padang.

Penelitian ini membahasa tentang Belanja Online: Studi Online Shopping Mahasiwa UNP Tahun 2014-2019. Permasalahan yang peneliti angkat yaitu bagaimana latar belakang munculnya aplikasi belanja online yang membuat mahasiwa Universitas Negeri Padang lebih mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan teknologi dalam segi berbelanja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar balakang munculnya aplikasi berbasis belanja online dan mengetahui perkembangan online shopping di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah, diantaranya Heuristik, Kritik Sumber, Analisis, Sintesis dan Inerpretasi serta Historiografi atau penulisan sejarah. Pertama, penulis mendapatkan data dari objek penelitian, yang terbagi dua yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan narasumber dan pihak terkait lainnya, data sekunder diperoleh dari studi pustaka. Kedua, dilakukan kritik sumber terhadap data yang telah diperoleh. Ketiga, menganalisis, sintesis dan interpretasi data. Keempat, penulis menjelaskan hasil dari penelitian dalam sebuah karya ilmiah berupa skripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Padang berbelanja secara online dan ada beberapa yang tidak berbelanja secara online dengan alasan belanja tradisional lebih menjamin dari pada belanja secara online, dan alasan mahasiswa yang berbelanja secara karena lebih mudah, irit, efeisien di waktu dan sebagainya serta barang langsung diantar kerumah. Kata kunci: Belanja Online dan konsumerisme

Towards National Identity: Analysis of Children of Purus and Anticipation to Mentawai Future Azmi Fitrisia; Wannofri Samry

This article aims to know some problems of children of Purus, a coastal area in Padang city, especially related to factors leading to literary poor imagination of ‘Kelompok Purus Menulis’ members. The experience in manage of children Purus could became guidelines to develop the future of Mentawai's children. They have attended training and mentoring programs in three years organized by Universitas Negeri Padang. But their quality product likes poem is still poor. They tend to imitate others’ works. Few are confident and stand out of box. Why? Data for this article are based on district document, and interview during the training and mentoring activities. After collecting the data, the analysis and written report for the result of research will follow. The analysis will show the poor imagination of Purus children. There are three reasons for that. First, the writer will have an extensive knowledge from reading, observing, and discussing with others. But Purus children rarely read and write. Second, family supporting. Some children of the community come from poor family background and lower level of education that hinder them from growing any better. Third, social environment. The children live in market and tourist area. It makes the children less focus on study.
