Abstract

Based on the survey in the field, it is shown that the job satisfaction of teachers at SMKN Bintan, Riau Islands is still low. This is suspected of having something to do with interpersonal communication and teacher work motivation. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to test its validity. This study aims to reveal thecontribution of interpersonal communication and work motivation to teacher job satisfactionn at SMKN Bintan Regency, Riau Islands. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: (1) interpersonal communication contributes to teacher job satisfaction, (2) work motivation contributes to teacher job satisfaction, (3) interpersonal communication and work motivation jointly contribute to teacher job satisfaction. The population in this study were all teachers of SMKN Bintan, Riau Islands, amounting to 135 people. The research sample amounted to 65 people who were taken by using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used is a rating scale and a Likert Scale model questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed by correlation and regression techniques. The results of data analysis show that: (1) Interpersonal communication contributes to teacher job satisfaction by 28.4%, (2) Work motivation contributes to teacher job satisfaction by 58.1%, (3) Interpersonal communication and work motivation together contribute to teacher job satisfaction by 70.3%. The achievement level of the teacher's job satisfaction score of 86.18% is in the satisfied category, and for interpersonal communication 82.47% is in the good category while for teacher work motivation 86.35 the ideal score is in the high category.

Abstract

This exploration was completed at the State Junior High School, Padang Utara District, for getting a data about educator's exhibitions. Abstract

Guru yang profesional akan selalu terus belajar untuk memperbaiki dirinya menjadi lebih baik lagi khususnya dalam meningkatkan cara kerjanya di sekolah. Guru yang profesional akan membuat kualitas peserta didik menjadi lebih bermutu lagi Dari penelitian ini awal ditemukan bahwa kemampuan profesional guru di SD Negeri 07 Sigiran Kabupaten Agam berjalan semestinya. Kondisi ini diduga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas Hubungan Supervisi dengan Profesionalisme Guru. Penelitian ini adalah bersifat korelasional, menyatakan bahwa penelitian korelasional yaitu suatu penelitian yang dirancang untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel-variabel yang berbeda dalam suatu populasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa erat atau kuat hubungan antara variabel tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel, yaitu hubungan supervisi sebagai variabel bebas dan Profesionalisme Guru sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SD Negeri 07 Kabupaten Agam yang berjumlah sebanyak 11 orang . dari hasil analisis data Profesionalisme Guru dapat di kategori cukup baik (78,22%) dari skor ideal dan hasil analisis data Supervisi Kepala Sekolah pada kategori baik, dengan persentase (80,80%) dari skor ideal.

Abstract

Profesionalisme merupakan sikap mental yang harus dimiliki oleh masing-masing pegawai dalam melakukan pekerjaannya. Dalam bekerja, seorang pegawai diharapkan bertindak sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip kode etik yang mengatur setiap tindakannya dalam bekerja agar setiap tindakan yang dilakukannya dalam bekerja sesuai dengan kode etik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data tentang bagaimana profesionalisme kerja pegawai di Dinas Sosial Kota Padang yang dinilai dari segi komitmen, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin. Teknik pengambilan sampel Total Sampling adalah teknik yang digunakan penulis dalam pengambilan sampel penelitian, dimana sampel mengambil jumlah seluruh populasi yang ada yaitu 36 orang. Model Skala Likert adalah instrumen penelitian yang penulis gunakan dengan lima pilihan jawaban yang disediakan. Dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang telah penulis lakukan, maka didapati profesionalisme kerja pegawai di Dinas Sosial Kota Padang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4, 105. Diharapakan nantinya profesionalisme kerja pegawai di Kantor Dinas Sosial Kota Padang bisa terus bertahan pada tingkat yang tinggi dan bisa naik pada ke level yang lebih tinggi lagi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengidentifikasi prosedur pengelolaan arsip di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bukittinggi, 2) Mengidentifikasikan masalah pengelolaan Arsip di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bukittinggi, 3) Mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab masalah pengelolaan Arsip di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bukittinggi, 4) Merumuskan alternatif penyelesaian masalah pengelolaan Arsip di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bukittinggi, 5) Menganalisa dan menyajikan solusi yang paling efektif untuk penyelesaian masalah pengelolaan Arsip di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian kualitatif desain penelitian studi kasus. Informan penelitian ialah para pegawai di instansi terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancaraidanacatatan lapangan. Data dianallsis melalui langkah reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelayanan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kecamatan Nanggalo. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini memiliki populasi 155 guru dan sampel 67 guru. Rumus Slovin dan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling digunakan untuk penarikan sampel. Uji coba dilakukan kepada 15 guru di luar sampel penelitian. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan program IBM SPSS 24.0 for windows. Item yang yang dinyatakan valid berjumlah 36 item dari 37 item. Uji validitas penelitian ini menggunakan product moment dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,514) dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model skala likert. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan rumus skor rata-rata. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan pelayanan di bidang kepegawaian skor rata- ratanya ialah 4,23 (84,59%). Untuk pelayanan di bidang kurikulum skor rata- ratanya ialah 4,21 (84,04%). Untuk pelayanan di bidang sarana dan prasarana skor rata- ratanya ialah 4,35 (86,95%). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kecamatan Nanggalo sudah baik dengan skor rata- rata 4,26 (85,19%).

Abstract

The phenomenon found shows that the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Lubuk Basung sub-district is relatively low. It is suspected that the cause is moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture. This study aims to reveal whether the two factors of moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture contribute to the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Lubuk Basung sub-district. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: 1) Moralistic leadership contributes to teacher performance, 2) Adhocracy organizational culture contributes to teacher performance and 3) Moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture together contribute to teacher performance. The study population was 300 public elementary school teachers in Palembayan District. The sample was drawn using a stratified proportional random sampling technique. The selected sample was 90 people. To test the hypothesis, correlation, and regression analysis techniques were used. Data collection using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that: 1) Moralist leadership contributes 22.1% to teacher performance, 2) Adhocracy organizational culture contributes 19.7% to teacher performance and 3) Moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture together contribute 31.9% to teacher performance. The level of score achievement for these three variables (teacher performance, moralist leadership, and adhocracy organizational culture) is in a good category. The results of this study indicate that moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture are two factors that need to be applied by principals to improve the performance of public elementary school teachers in Lubuk Basung District.

Abstract

This study aims to see the implementation process and the supporting factors and obstacles to implementing the Principal's Academic and Managerial Supervision at SMK Negeri 1 Kandis. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation (combined). The data analysis techniques that researchers used were Data Reduction, Data Display, and Verification. The informants in this study were school principals, teachers, the Deputy Head of Curriculum, the Deputy Head of Student Affairs, the Deputy Head of Sarpras, the Deputy Head of Public Relations, and Hubin, Administrative Personnel. In drawing conclusions, the researcher made a comparison between the results of interviews with existing documents, then compared the results of interviews between one informant and another, whether there were differences or if there was information that was in agreement. The results of this study are: 1) the process of implementing Academic and Managerial Supervision by the Principal at SMKN 1 Kandis is going well but not optimal; 2) Supporting factors for the implementation of Academic and Managerial Supervision by the Principal at SMKN 1 Kandis are: High teacher enthusiasm for making changes, very good teacher cooperation, and most of the teachers are still young, so they are still very energetic; 3) The inhibiting factor for the implementation of Academic and Managerial Supervision by the Principal at SMKN 1 Kandis is a matter of time and the Principal's sudden assignment. With a total of 45 teachers, they must be supervised by one school principal, resulting in a long time in the supervision process.

Abstract

This research is based on the author's observation regarding the influence of principal's transformational leadership and work motivation on teacher innovation at state elementary schools in Bukittinggi city which shows that the principal's transformational leadership is still not good, work motivation and teacher innovation are still low. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about (1) The influence of the principal's transformational leadership on teacher innovation at state elementary school in Bukittinggi City, (2) The influence of work motivation on teacher innovation at state elementary school in Bukittinggi City, and (3) The influence of the principal's transformational leadership and work motivation on teacher innovation at state elementary school in Bukittinggi City. This research is a correlational quantitative research with associative type. The population consisted of PNS teachers at state elementary school in Bukittinggi City, amounting to 433 people. The research sample amounted to 148 people who were taken with the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique, taking into account the level of education, the strata of the service period and rank/class. The research instrument used is a rating scale and a Liket Scale questionnaire which has 5 alternative answers. Before the questionnaire was used, trials were carried out to determine validity and reliability. Furthermore, the research data was analyzed with the average score (Mean) for data description, test requirements such as normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The results of data analysis show that: (1) principal's transformational leadership influences teacher innovation by 17.9%, (2) work motivation influences teacher innovation by 33.9%, and (3) principal's transformational leadership and work motivation together influence to teacher innovation by 36.1%. The level of achievement of teacher innovation 82.15% of the ideal score is in the high category, for principal's transformational leadership 91.12% of the ideal score is in the very good category and teacher work motivation 91.51% of the ideal score is in the very high category. The results of this research above imply that the principal's transformational leadership and work motivation are two factors that can improve teacher innovation in addition to other factors.

Abstract

Pembelajaran literasi numerasi menjadi salah satu bagian pokok dari kurikulum merdeka dan sebagai bekal keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa SD. Namun, dilapangan ditemukan data rendahnya literasi numerasi siswa berdasarkan AKM. Maka melalui pendekatan user requirement perlu dilaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan kemampuan literasi numerasi kepada guru SD untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi guru yang dilaksanakan dengan berbasis digital. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru tentang literasi numerasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bagi seluruh guru SD Negeri di Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban, dengan jumlah peserta 35 orang yang merupakan perwakilan dari masing-masing sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terselenggara dengan baik. Peserta antusias dalam setiap aktivitas. Peserta pun menyatakan bahwa mereka mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan dan wawasan baru dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat respon positif peserta terhadap pelatihan dimana persentase capaian tentang efektivitas pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah 90,63%. Dari aspek kemampuan peserta pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta dari 80,58% menjadi 89.09%.
