Abstract

Pendaftaran Mahasiswa Baru pada susatu institusi pendidikan seperti STMIK STIKOM Bali adalah sebuah kegiatan yang rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahun ajaran baru. Dimana pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru tersebut selalu meningkat dari tahun ketahun namun calon mahasiswa yang melakukan pendaftaran tidak semua yang melanjutkan kelangkah registrasi dari sejumlah calon mahasiswa yang sudah dinyatakan lulus. Hal ini akan menjadi sangat terlambat untuk mengambil tindakan apabila ternyata mahasiswa baru yang registrasi sangat sedikit jumlahnya. Dengan tidak diketahuinya mehasiswa yang registrasi, maka pihak – pihak perguruan tinggi tidak dapat mengetahui dengan pasti kapanjumlah target penerimaan mahasswa baru tercapai Dalam permasalahan ini penggunaan teknik data mining diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan – pengetahuan yang sebelumnya tersembunyi di dalam gudang data, sehingga menjadi informasi yang berharga bagi organisasi. Pada penelitian ini model klasifikasi dan frequen pattern di buat untuk mengidentifikasi pola data dan kemunculannya untuk kelas status “lanjut” atau “mundur pendaftaran”. Beberapa task mining digunakan untuk memprediksi calon mahasiswa yaitu dengan teknik klasifikasi dan teknik Frequent Pattern yang mengektrak model dan menggambarkan kelas data penting. Algoritma yang digunakan adalah Decision Tree dan Apriori. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk implementasi adalah WEKA. Kata Kunci— Data Mining, Klasifikasi, Decision Tree, Frequent Pattern.

Abstract

Abstract— In this study, the short circuit simulation conducted of 3-phase, phase to phase and single line to ground fault in several alternate site points which are selected based on the interruption that might occur in the feeders and from the GI base point thought end point in Kedonganan feeders. The value of short circuit current are used to set the time setting of over current relay to make the protection equipment run according to safety requirements. Based on the analysis result, it shows that the current interruptions are influenced by the distant of interruption, the more distant the point then the smaller short circuit current would happened, and vice versa. The increasing short circuit current can caused a grading time in relay in each alternate location with average grading time about 0,4 second. Rearrangement of protection system in short circuit is recommended especially in protection system based on outcome which can improve the sensitivity and selectivity for better protection system.

Abstract

One of the most frequent natural disasters in every rainy season is the flood. The City of Denpasar experienced a fairly rapid development with various functions such as education, trade and tourism city, due to changes in land use and rapid population development could have a negative impact that is the reduction of soil absorption and the increase of flood prone areas which in the end causing grievances from people in the area. Through four parameters namely flood event, rainfall intensity, area height and density of settlement can determine the potential area of flood disaster in Denpasar City area by using Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The calculation weights of the flood parameters can be generated map of potential areas prone to flooding in the City Denpasar. Provided high potential flood areas of 9%, medium level of 28% and a low level of 63% of 43 villages in the City of Denpasar. This result can be an input for all stakeholders as policy makers can make decisions in flood disaster management.

Abstract

Abstract— Most of the power plants use fossil energy sources, while fossil energy has several undesirable effects. To overcome this, it is necessary to develop in electricity that is by using renewable energy as a source of electrical energy. Some examples of electrical renewable energy sources used are solar energy and wind energy. Renewable energy as electricity generation can be developed using a microgrid concept, generation with more than one power plant. The combination of different types of power plants is often called a hybrid power plant. One example is a hybrid power plant with a smart microgrid network system at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, which has been operating since 2017, which is a collaboration between Udayana University and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). This smart microgrid requires a study of the energy supply system of the power generation in order to know its performance to serve the DH building load. The study will analyze the data in October 2018. Research results show that smart microgrids cannot fully meet the electricity load in October 2018. The electrical energy load of 4330 kWh DH building is supplied by PLTS 333,383 kWh, PLTB 121.07 kWh, and supply of 803.57 batteries. kWh The shortage of electrical energy from the microgrid system is supplied by PLN by 1591.7 kWh and when overproduction, PLN can get energy from the 541 kWh microgrid. Battery charging energy is 1894.38 kWh. The use of renewable energy in the DH building reached 63.24%. Keywords— Microgrid, PLTS, PLTB, Battery

Abstract

Since 1980, the village department of Mekar Sari, Panji Village has had a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). The PLTMH, which has a 10kW generation capacity, is experiencing various problems resulting in unsuitable operation. One of the proposed improvements is the design of the penstock (fast pipe) in accordance with the MHP Banjar Dinas Mekar Sari. The new penstock design produced penstock with a length of 54 meters, a penstock diameter of 0.8272 meters and a penstock thickness of 0.002 meters. The flow velocity at the penstock after the new design is 2.7088 m / s, and the net head is 16 meters. This improvement is intended to take full advantage of the height of the river flow, so that the maximum flow rate can be generated and then used to rotate the turbine.

Abstract

Abstract - This paper introduces a redesign of Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHPP) in Banjar Dinas Mekar Sari, Panji Village, District of Sukasada, Buleleng Regency, Bali. The MHPP has been operated since 1980 by utilizing waterflow of Tukad Pasut River. Early investigation indicated that there is a reduced production capacity of the MHPP due to lack of maintenance. In addition, the initial design of the MHPP has not adopted the advanced power control systems, resulting in inefficient power production. The introduced design of the new MHPP utilizes a crossflow turbine to accommodate a waterflow rate of 1,32 m3/s and with an effective head of 16 m. The turbine mechanical energy is coupled to a generator by means of a belt coupling system, with a belt length of 3099 mm. The pulley diameter is 750 mm for the turbine side, and it is 149 mm for the generator side. The generator capacity is 185 kVA, 50 Hz, 230/400 V, 1500 rpm, and with an efficiency of 94%. The Electronic Load Controller has a capacity of 180 kW, with 6 ballast loads of 30 kW. The connection from the generator to the transformer uses the NYFGbY underground cable of 4 × 95 mm2, with a length of 69 m. The transformer is a step-up and step-down type with a capacity of 250 kVA.

Abstract

Menjangan feeder is a medium-voltage network system which distributes electricity throughout Gilimanuk and some areas in Buleleng. It has 69 distribution substations, which one of them, substation GR088, contributes to the highest value of the total harmonic distortion (THDi). In this research, the effect of harmonic distortions on losses at low voltage system of substation GR088 will be evaluated. The method used in this study is direct measurement of harmonic distortions at each low-voltage costumer whose electricity is generated by substation GR088 at Menjangan Feeder. Software is also used to perform harmonic load flow analysis and simulations. The total value of losses on transformer and low voltage system of substation GR088 Menjangan feeder, in a no-harmonic condition is 1481,689 Watt. On under-harmonic condition, the total value of losses is 1552,5 Watt. Therefore there is a 70,811 Watt difference between the two conditions. At this case, beside the heat created by the harmonic distortion that can affect the performance of transformers, it also cause a quite great value of losses, which is 1,699 kWh per day, or approximately 620 kWh per year. It means the harmonic distortion in substation GR088 can cause PT PLN (Persero) lose Rp.910.018,79 per year.

Abstract

Salah satu teknik untuk memperbaiki jatuh tegangan adalah dengan pemasangan (DG) Distributed Generation. Salah satu teknologi Distributed Generation yang ada di Bali adalah PLTS Kubu Karangasem merupakan jenis pembangkit listrik dengan skala kecil yang memanfaatkan energy terbarukan untuk menghasilkan energi listrik dengan daya yang dihasilkan 1 MW. Dari hasil analasis menggunakan Load Flow Analysis Voltage Profile diperoleh hasil drop tegangan maksimum saat tidak terhubung DG sebesar 13,23 % dan saat terhubung DG diperoleh drop tegangan sebesar 10,85%. Dengan adanya interkoneksi DG pada Penyulang Abang maka terjadi penurunan rugi-rugi daya sebesar 10,23 % dari total rugi-rugi daya yang terjadi sebelum terhubung dengan DG pada Penyulang Abang

Abstract

Management of PLTS 15 kW stand alone at Yeh mampeh village, bangli regency implemented for PLTS can be utilized optimally and sustainable. Sistem management referring to the results of PLTS component with life time of that and results of the questionnaire. Questionnaire were taken by using Kano Method with 50respondent. Kano categoryused in this study are one dimensional, attractive, must be, indiferent, reverse. This method produces the desired management system of PLTS customers are workers will work twince in one week to four hours every day working with two workers, each employee is given a saary of Rp.300.000, PLTS depreciation is Rp. 3.896.000, with the expected quantity of PLTS customer 150th , so the contribution of each customer every mount is Rp. 28.000. If this sistem can be running by society of Yeh Mampeh Village, then PLTS will be utilized optimally and sustainable.

Abstract

The addition of the power source to the main network is one way to improve the quality of electric power system, network reliability and to reduce power losses. The addition of the energy source is a smart microgrid system. The smart microgrid technology is a technology that uses renewable energy as a main supply. Smart microgrid system consists of a 24 kWp solar power, Wind Turbine 5 kWp system 240 kVAh battery and genset 20 kVA. The smart microgrid system to be implemented at the Engineering Faculty of Udayana University. The results showed the power loss (losses) on the electrical grid at FT Bukit Jimbaran before the advent of smart microgrid system to the network, acquired losses of 6.4 kW or 3.68% of the total load when the network is supplied from PLN and after the inclusion of smart microgrid system and generator sets to the grid obtained by losses of 1.2 kW or decreased losses of 0.69% of the total expenses of 173.54163 kW. Reliability indices obtained at the Technical University of Udayana network after the entry smart microgrid system when interconnected with PLN namely SAIFI: 0.1029, SAIDI: 1.9229 hours / customer, and CAIDI: 18.686 hours / interruption.
