Abstract

This study is grounded in the challenges related to the suboptimal utilization of facilities and infrastructure in supporting students’ Qur’anic reading skills at MI Al-Islam Giwangan, Yogyakarta. Limitations such as inadequate Qur’anic mushafs, insufficient learning media, and the underuse of educational technology hinder the effectiveness of Tahfiz and tartil learning activities. These issues reduce students’ learning enthusiasm, restrict innovation, and prevent the creation of a conducive Qur’anic learning environment. Therefore, this study aims to: (1) analyze the actual condition and optimization of facilities and infrastructure used to support Qur’anic learning; and (2) examine the impact of their utilization on improving students’ Qur’anic reading and memorization abilities. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with primary data obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data include books, journals, and institutional documents. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that MI Al-Islam Giwangan has utilized facilities such as the school mosque, improved classrooms under the MLB BAZNAS program, internet access, electricity, mushafs, whiteboards, and audiovisual media to support Qur’anic learning. Effective use of these facilities combined with teachers’ guidance has resulted in positive impacts, including increased reading fluency, improved tajweed accuracy, enhanced motivation, and the development of a Qur’anic literacy culture within the school environment. However, the research also identifies several obstacles, including limited classroom capacity, varying students’ initial abilities, and restricted funding for infrastructure development. Overall, the study concludes that facilities and infrastructure significantly contribute to the effectiveness of the Tahfiz Al-Qur’an program at MI Al-Islam Giwangan.

Abstract

This study aims to directly observe the implementation of education financing management in SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo. The main focus is to provide an overview of the process of planning education financing (budgeting), implementing education financing (actuating), and monitoring education financing (controlling). The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach—information collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and triangulation. The validity of the data is tested by considering trustworthiness, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Data analysis includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo. It produced findings that education financing planning produces budget efficiency and meets student needs, while the implementation of education financing requires careful organization by utilizing available resources.

Abstract

The quality of education in schools is influenced by many factors, including the contribution of the principal as a leader that determines whether or not the educational goals achieved at the institution he leads, and the performance of teachers who determine the success of the educational process at school. This study aims to determine whether the improvement of school quality is dominated by the principal managerial contributions and teacher performance, or there are other factors that more strongly influence the improvement of the quality of education in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected by a questionnaire involving 43 respondents and then analyzed by multiple regression statistical analysis. The quantitative method as an approach in data analysis is to use SPSS version 17.0 tools. The results of the study and data analysis showed that the managerial variable of principals partially had an effect of 0.944 which meant that there was a strong influence of the managerial variables of principals on improving quality, which was 94.4%. Furthermore, teacher performance variables have an effect of 0.937, which means that 93.7% of teacher performance contributes or significantly influences the quality of education at SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. Simultaneously, the contribution of influence given by the managerial variables of school principals and teacher performance to quality improvement was 96.8%, while another 3.2% was influenced by other variables in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. This means that, managerial principals and teacher performance contribute greatly to improving the quality of education in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of optimizing educational facilities and infrastructure in shaping students' self-efficacy through a comprehensive literature review, map the formation mechanisms of self-efficacy through four main sources within the context of educational facilities, and formulate evidence-based optimization strategies with a focus on the Indonesian context. The method employed is library research using a descriptive qualitative approach through systematic collection and analysis of articles, books, and previous research published between 2019-2025. Data were analyzed using thematic synthesis and content analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and mechanisms connecting facility types with self-efficacy dimensions. The findings reveal that complete, well-functioning, and professionally managed facilities significantly enhance students' self-efficacy through four interacting pathways: mastery experiences through reduction of technical barriers, vicarious experiences through peer observation in collaborative spaces, verbal persuasion facilitated by quality audio-visual systems, and positive physiological and emotional states created by ergonomic design and comfortable environments. However, optimization in Indonesia remains hindered by funding constraints with dependency on School Operational Assistance Funds, gaps in managerial competence among school administrators particularly in remote areas, and rigid regulations that frequently change abruptly. Recommended strategies include diversifying funding sources through public-private partnerships, implementing competency-based training programs for school principals, developing adaptive regulatory frameworks, optimizing facility utilization through collaborative approaches, and integrating psychological perspectives in facility planning to create learning environments that sustainably support the development of students' confidence and academic achievement.. Keywords: Educational Facilities, Educational Management, Infrastructure Optimization, Self-Efficacy, Student Development Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran optimalisasi sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam membentuk self-efficacy peserta didik, memetakan mekanisme pembentukan self-efficacy melalui empat sumber utama dalam konteks fasilitas pendidikan, mengidentifikasi faktor moderator dan mediator yang mempengaruhi efektivitas fasilitas, menganalisis tantangan implementasi dengan fokus pada konteks Indonesia, serta merumuskan rekomendasi strategi optimalisasi berbasis bukti. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui pengumpulan dan analisis sistematis terhadap artikel, buku, dan penelitian terdahulu tentang pengoptimalan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam membentuk self-efficacy peserta didik. Teknik analisis data melibatkan analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi frekuensi tema utama serta analisis tematik untuk menemukan pola hubungan antara jenis sarana prasarana dan dimensi self-efficacy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap, berfungsi optimal, dan dikelola secara profesional mampu memperkuat self-efficacy siswa melalui empat sumber utama yaitu pengalaman keberhasilan dari penyelesaian tugas berulang menggunakan peralatan memadai, pengalaman tidak langsung melalui pengamatan teman sebaya di ruang kolaboratif, persuasi verbal yang difasilitasi oleh guru yang lebih percaya diri dengan dukungan fasilitas berkualitas, serta kondisi fisiologis dan emosional positif yang tercipta dari desain ergonomis dan lingkungan pembelajaran yang nyaman. Namun, proses optimalisasi masih terhambat oleh keterbatasan pendanaan dengan ketergantungan pada Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah, kompetensi manajerial pengelola yang rendah, dan regulasi yang kurang fleksibel. Solusi yang direkomendasikan meliputi diversifikasi pendanaan, implementasi program pelatihan berbasis kompetensi, pengembangan kerangka regulasi adaptif, serta kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung perkembangan rasa percaya diri dan prestasi siswa.
