Abstract

The changing of consumer behavior is one of the attractive topic in consumer research. The dynamic of consumer behavior could be part that is caused the shorter life cycle product. Then, proper mapping of consumer’s socio-economic class is important thing to enable manufacturers in providing the best product according to customer expectation. The research aims to obtain an explanation about the effect of marketing mix (product, price, place and promotion) towards purchase decision of Growing Up Milk (GUM) products on three socio-economic classes (lower, middle and upper class) and to discover the differences among those three classes. The study was conducted in Malang using questionnaire and data processed by using Partial Least Squares as an alternative to the Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that one of the marketing mix whis is product significantly affect purchase decision of GUM across the three classes. Price had significant effect to the purchase decision only at lower and upper class. Furthermore, place and promotion do not significantly affect the purchase decision across all classes. Variation change in endogenous variable (purchase decision) could be explained by exogenous variables (marketing mix), for 64.8% (upper), 48.3% (middle) and 49.9% (lower), respectively. Multi Group Analysis (MGA) showed that there are no significant differences between middle and lower class. A significant differences between upper class and middle class and also between upper class and lower class place on product and price. Upper class tends to purchase GUM due to its quality instead of product design and packaging. Price discount and lower price are not the main factors considered for the upper class.

Abstract

Star fruit cultivation business has become one of the economic supports for people from Karangsari, Blitar. Number of star fruit production continuing to increase by years in which it becomes the background of people from Karangsari in making innovative products from star fruit star fruit. This study aims to determine the feasibility of star fruit juice business. The research was conducted at “Cemara Sari”, Self-Finance Agricultural Training Center and Rural (P4S), in Karangsari, Blitar. The location selection used purposive sampling technique by considering that Blitar is the center of fruit star fruit development in East Java. The allocation time for the study start from August to September, 2014. Star fruit extract business is considered financially feasible. It can be seen from the value of NPV by Rp 45.728.311, -; Net B / C = 4.09; gross B / C = 1.3; profitability = 7.3; and IRR by 89.13% Keywords: star fruit, star fruit extract, business feasibility.

Abstract

Batu City is an agricultural area that implements an organic farming system. the emergence of organic farming system as part of a sustainable agriculture system which is one of the answers to the degradation of the agricultural environment, the dependence of farmers on the components of the green revolution and the fading of local wisdom in farmers is very important to get serious attention. The purpose of this research is to describe the perceptions and analyze the factors of adoption of innovations in organic vegetable farming in Batu City. The method of taking the population and the sample of this study were determined by the census method. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of farmers, the nature of technology and the competency of instructors have a positive and significant effect on the adoption of innovations. The factor that has the most influence on the adoption of organic vegetable farming innovations in Batu City is the competency of extension workers. Recommendations that can be given are frequent counseling about organic agriculture and there must also be an understanding of the mindset of the extension participants so that counseling runs optimally.

Abstract

Organic vegetable cultivation system is a system for growing vegetables that is safe for consumption. The aims of this study were to conduct external and internal analysis of Mulyo Santoso Farmers Group Association using SWOT analysis, to find out effective strategies in empowering farmers through vegetable development, and to compile strategies for empowering farmers through organic vegetable development by Mulyo Santoso Farmers Group Association. This study is a descriptive study using quantitative descriptive approach. The data used were primary data obtained through interviews using questionnaires. This research used SWOT analysis method. The sampling technique used was census, using all members of the population as samples. Internal factor analysis results show the acquisition of a strength indicator score of 1.53 and a weak indicator score of 1.04. The results of the analysis on external factors acquisition show the opportunity indicator score of 1.32 and the threat indicator score of 1.20. The resulting value of SWOT diagram analysis on the X axis for internal factors is 0.49 and Y axis on external factors is 0.12. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it is known that the strategy used by Mulyo Santoso Farmers Group Association is an aggressive or progressive strategy, by using the power to take advantage of opportunities by creating, producing and developing businesses of processed agricultural products, such as processed chips and catering services of healthy foods, as well as adding more varieties of cultivated vegetables and sell organic fertilizer to supplement the income

Abstract

Pengrajin keripik tempe memerlukan srategi pemasaran yang baik dalam pengelolaan usahanya. Produksi dan teknik pemasaran produk antar pengrajin keripik tempe kurang lebih sama, namun harga dan kualitas yang ditawarkan berbeda-beda. Subjek Penelitian merupakan pengrajin keripik tempe yang menjadi sumber informasi untuk mendapatkan data. Objek penelitian adalah strategi untuk meningkatkan produksi pendapatan pengrajin keripik tempe. Lokasi dan waktu penelitian Mei 2021 di Sanan kota Malang. Penentuan lokasi ini dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Analiiss yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni Analytical Hierarhy Process (AHP) dan Analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penenlitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketiga variabel yaitu biaya, harga dan pendapatan yang paling efektif adalah pemasaran pengrajin keripik tempe adalah dengan metode kios, karena hasil penjualannya lebih tinggi. Sedangkan berdasakan analisis structural equation modeling variabel yang paling berpengaruh yakni kios. Strategi pemasaran keripik tempe dipengaruhi oleh harga, biaya dan pendapatan. Dari kedua analisis tersebut telah diuji dan hasil dari kedua analisis tersebut menghasilkan pemilihan kios.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan dan memahami pelaksanaan pitungan Jawa dalam aktivitas permulaan waktu tanam pada petani di Kelurahan Temas, Kecamatan Batu, Kota Batu. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Peneliti tinggal di lokasi penelitian selama pelaksanaan penelitian dengan mengamati, melihat, ikut serta, dan berdiskusi dengan warga lokasi penelitian, khususnya para informan. Informan dalam penelitian berjumlah 7 orang terdiri dari penduduk setempat yang memiliki primbon Jawa, mengetahui dan memahami serta mengaplikasikan pitungan Jawa, bersedia berdiskusi secara terbuka dengan peneliti. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan pengumpulan, penyajian, reduksi atau kondensasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pitungan Jawa dalam upaya menentukan awal bercocok tanam bervariasi. Menurut petani, pitungan Jawa adalah kearifan lokal yang perlu dilestarikan. Mereka percaya pada nasihat orang tua mengenai hal-hal buruk yang telah terbukti di masa lalu apabila tidak mengikuti perkiraan dalam primbon. Petani beranggapan bahwa penerapan pitungan Jawa adalah salah satu bentuk ikhtiar kepada Allah SWT. Meskipun demikian petani tetap menganut ajaran agama dan menghindari tindakan yang bertentangan dengan syariat Islam. Bentuk implementasi pitungan Jawa di Kelurahan Temas tidak persis sama dengan ketentuan yang tertulis dalam primbon, seperti halnya tidak lagi menyediakan sesajen yang ditempatkan dalam takir. Syarat utama petani yang akan melakukan pitungan Jawa yakni haruslah mengingat hari meninggal orang tua dan tanggal 1 Suro. Apabila hasil pitungan Jawa jatuh pada hari tersebut, petani dilarang memulai penanaman. Harapannya adalah untuk menghindari rintangan buruk. Acuan yang digunakan oleh petani adalah oyot, wit, godhong, uwoh yang disesuaikan dengan jenis tanaman yang akan ditanam.        This study aims to describe and understand the implementation of Javanese calculations in the activity of starting planting time for farmers in Temas Village, Batu District, Batu City. Researchers used a qualitative research approach that was classified as an ethnographic research method. Researchers stay at the research location during the implementation of the research by observing, seeing, participating in, and discussing with residents of the research location, especially informants. There are 7 informants in the study consisting of local residents who have Javanese Primbon, know and understand and apply Javanese calculations, willing to have open discussions with researchers. Data analysis was carried out by collecting, presenting, reducing/condensing, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the perception of the Javanese count in the effort to determine the start of planting varied. According to farmers, Javanese pitung is local wisdom that needs to be preserved. They trust their parents' advice about bad things that have been proven in the past if they don't follow the predictions in the Primbon. Farmers think that the application of Javanese calculations is a form of endeavor to Allah SWT. Even so, farmers still adhere to religious teachings and avoid actions that are contrary to Islamic law. The form of implementation of the Javanese calculation in Kelurahan Temas is not exactly the same as the provisions written in the Primbon, such as no longer providing offerings that are placed in takir. The main requirement for farmers to do Javanese calculations is to remember the day their parents died and the 1st of Suro. If the results of the Javanese calculations fall on those days, the farmer is prohibited from starting planting. The hope is to avoid bad obstacles. The references used by farmers are oyot, wit, godhong, uwoh which are adjusted to the type of plant to be planted.

Abstract

Menurunnya tingkat minat pemuda terhadap pekerjaan di bidang pertanian menjadi ancaman yang tidak bisa dihindari. Fakta menyatakan jumlah petani terus mengalami penurunan selama sepuluh tahun terakhir, presentasenya rata-rata penurunan mencapai 1 persen. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Pagelaran Kecamatan Ciomas Kabuaten Bogor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis seberapa besar minat pemuda Desa Pagelaran terhadap pekerjaan di bidang pertanian, mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berkorelasi dengan pilihan pekerjaan pemuda di bidang pertanian, dan mengetahui jumlah dan presentase pilihan pekerjaan yang paling diminati oleh pemuda di Desa Pagelaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif, metode pengambilan sambel menggunakan Propotionate Startified Random Sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Minat pemuda Desa Pagelaran terhadap bekerja di bidang pertanian masih tergolong rendah  (2) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan pada variabel internal (jenis kelamin, pengalaman bekerja tingkat kosmopolitan) pada variabel eksternal (sosialisasi pekerjaan) terhadap minat pemuda Desa Pagelaran untuk bekerja di bidang pertanian. (3) Sebagian besar Pemuda Desa Pagelaran lebih memilih bekerja di luar sektor pertanian.

Abstract

The problem of forage limitations experienced by farmers as well as dairy farmers in Medowo Village, Kandangan District, Kediri when the dry season arrives. Farmers take other forage alternatives that can grow in all seasons and have more nutritional content than other forages. namely odot grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv.Mott). The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze the production costs of odot grass farming, revenue and income of odot grass farming, and 2) analyze the R / C Ratio of odot grass farming. This research was conducted in Village  of Medowo, Sub-District of Kandangan, District of Kediri and the sampling method used was simple random sampling technique with a number of respondents as many as 50 farmers. Data analysis technique used is the calculation of farming and production costs, with quantitative descriptive data analysis methods. The results of this study found an average total fixed cost that is equal to IDR 6,039,302 / ha, the total average variable cost is IDR.11,055,632.8 / ha, the average total production cost is IDR.17,095,270, 1 / ha, the total average revenue is IDR 31,479,403.81 / ha, while the average income received is IDR 2,720,370 / ha. The efficiency results (R / C Ratio) of 1.8 or worth the effort.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial agroindustri tahu "RDS" dan menganalisis sensitivitas usaha agroindustri untuk mengetahui "RDS" terhadap perubahan harga kedelai, harga bahan bakar (listrik), serta penurunan produksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Klampok Singosari Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan termasuk data primer dan sekunder, data primer meliputi observasi dan wawancara, dan data sekunder termasuk jurnal penelitian. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan untuk menganalisis aspek keuangan, arus kas, NPV, IRR, Payback Period, Gross B / C Ratio, Net B / C Ratio, BEP, ROI dan Analisis Sensitivitas. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan finansial dinyatakan layak dengan NPV Rp5 .273.927.844, IRR sama dengan 153%, periode pengembalian modal yakni pada tahun ke 2, rasio B / C kotor sebesar 1,29, Net B / C ratio 19,156, nilai produksi BEP 12 862, dari tahu organik 5928, 2,693 dari nilai tahu organik dan BEP tahu organik sebesar Rp25.739.296, dan untuk tahu semi organik Rp20.753.019, tahu organik Rp16.157.37. dan nilai ROI 32%.

Abstract

A market is a meeting place for sellers and buyers who are conducting transactions, both goods, and services. One of the main items for buying and selling activities is agricultural commodities as the main source of food. One of the most found and popular markets is the traditional market. The purpose of this research is to analyze together the influence of product factors, income, quantity, quality of place, service on the decision to buy agricultural commodities in the traditional Kepanjen market, and which factors are the most dominant. The sampling technique used accidental sampling, with the number of respondents 88 and multiple linear regression. The results of the research are the characteristics of the respondents are dominated by the female gender, ranging in age from 36-55, having a family of 3-4 people, junior high school education, and with an income ranging from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000. The results of the F test analysis obtained a significance value of 0.119, which means that there is a joint influence on the variables of income, quantity, quality of place, service on the decision to buy agricultural commodities in the traditional Kepanjen market. While the t-test obtained two variables that have a value less than 0.15, namely the quantity variable 0.140 and the service variable 0.016 which means that it is partially influential and the most dominant is the service variable which influences the decision to buy agricultural commodities in the traditional market of Kepanjen Malang.
