Abstract

This research analyzes the development of the profile of Pait Village in Kasembon District, Malang Regency, as a sustainable village to improve welfare through local potential. Pait Village has great opportunities in the agriculture and tourism sectors, but limited promotion, and digital literacy are the main obstacles. This research used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies and virtual ethnography, involving village officials, communities, tourism managers, tourists, and digital marketing experts. Village profile development was carried out by making promotional videos, from pre-production to distribution through social media. The results show that village profile videos attract tourists and increase sales of local products. However, challenges remain, such as poor infrastructure and lack of community participation due to low digital literacy. The conclusions emphasize the importance of sustainable promotion strategies, infrastructure improvements, and active community participation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) content based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) in the Algorithm Analysis and Design course using the ADDIE development model. The focus of the research is to test the content validity, construct validity, and students' perceptions of project-based learning applied in MOOC. The results of validation by three experts showed that the developed content has an average Content Validity Index (CVI) above 0.85, which indicates that the content is in line with the learning objectives and consistent with the principles of PjBL. The implementation of PjBL-based MOOC was also proven to increase student engagement, where 82% of students reported higher active participation compared to traditional methods. In addition, 85% of students reported an increase in their understanding of the algorithm concepts, supported by the PjBL-based project that helped them apply the theory in a real context. Interactive learning media such as learning videos, online quizzes, and algorithm simulations also contributed to the high level of student satisfaction, with an average score of 4.1. Overall, the implementation of PjBL in MOOC content is effective in improving student engagement, understanding, and satisfaction, as well as providing a relevant and efficient online learning model for algorithm analysis and design courses.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has accelerated the integration of gamification as an interactive and motivational learning strategy. This study presents a systematic literature review following the SPAR 4 SLR protocol, based on the analysis of 25 empirical research articles published between 2020 and 2025. The objective is to explore the distribution and impact of various gamification elements on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning domains. Elements that provide rewards, such as points (88%), badges (80%), and leaderboards (72%), were the most commonly applied in learning environments. In contrast, reflective features such as storytelling (20%), learner autonomy (24%), and role-playing activities (16%) were especially effective in increasing emotional involvement, self-directed learning, and practical abilities. Through thematic analysis using NVivo 12, the study found that external rewards often encourage only temporary motivation, whereas reflective components support more lasting and meaningful learning processes. The study concludes by recommending a balanced and goal-oriented approach to gamification design, which can strengthen its role as a transformative educational strategy in the digital learning era.

Abstract

This research aims to design and test a solar power generation system (PLTS) as an alternative energy solution for agricultural irrigation in Kemulan Village, Turen District, Malang Regency. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The define stage shows that farmers experience limited access to energy and high irrigation costs, with an average daily energy requirement of 1,500 Wh and operational costs of Rp 300,000-500,000 per season. Based on this data, a solar PV system was designed using two 100 Wp solar panels, a 12V DC pump, and an MPPT controller. Simulation through PVsyst showed an energy output of 1,620 Wh/day, while field testing produced 1,560 Wh/day with a water discharge of 70 liters/minute. Expert validation results show the system has high efficiency (86-88%), is easy to operate, and has the potential to be replicated. End-user evaluations showed positive scores on the aspects of convenience, usefulness, and re-adoption intention. The findings prove that a local needs-based approach and active involvement of farmers in the design to evaluation process can produce renewable technology systems that are applicable, efficient, and socially acceptable in the rural agricultural sector.

Abstract

The increasing population growth every year results in a number of social problems, one of which is waste management. If permitted, this issue can lead to various problems related to aesthetics, sanitation, health, and the environment. Mojokerto City is one of the cities experiencing an annual increase in waste volume, indicating that the community in Mojokerto has limited knowledge about waste sorting. Therefore, the aim of this research is to design a 3D animated Public Service Advertisement for community service that introduces waste sorting to the people of Mojokerto City, and then to test the results of the design. The Public Service Advertisement is created using 3D animation with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which includes several stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. This 3D animated Public Service Advertisement has a duration of 2 minutes and 40 seconds, in mp4 format, with a resolution of 1280x720. It is distributed through social media platforms, specifically YouTube. The Public Service Advertisement. has been tested with media experts resulting in 79.44%, Then, it was tested with content experts resulting in 85.67%, and finally, media testing was conducted with the audience, yielding a result of 84.55%. So that this 3D animated Public Service Advertisement can be utilized as an introduction to waste management for the people of Mojokerto City. It is hoped that the presence of this 3D animated community service advertisement will be beneficial to the entire community of Mojokerto City and help reduce improper waste disposal.
