Abstract

Gold mining activities in Aceh Jaya District could lead to mercury contamination of the environment.This research was conducted to assess the status of mercury in Krueng Sabee river as impacted bygold processing waste dumped into the river in the District of Aceh Jaya. Water, sediment, andaquatic animal (biota) samples were taken at three locations along the river, i.e. downstream, half-waycenter, and upstream. Mercury concentrations in the samples were analyzed by using SNI 02-0086-2005 method for sediment and biota, and SNI 01-3554-2006 method for water, and measured usingAtomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results were then compared to water qualitystandards for mercury Indonesian Govermental Regulation (KepMenLH No.02/ MenKLH/ 2002, PP.No. 18 Tahun 1999, dan BPOM No. 3725/ B/ SK/ VII/ 1989). The results showed that mercury levelsin Krueng Sabee river at all locations sampled during wet and dry seasons were below that of thewater quality standards, whereas mercury concentrations in sediment and biota samples at allsampling locations in Krueng Sabee river were above the maximum contaminant level. High levelsof mercury in the aquatic environment may pose a health concern for the community living in thecontaminated area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas dosis pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) dan npk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai  (Glycine max (L.) Merill.)”, yang dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Teuku Umar, Oktober 2019 sampai dengan Januari 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan   acak   kelompok   faktorial (RAKF) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis monosodium glutmat meliputi dosis 0 gram/polybag (M0), dosis 3 gram/polybag (M1), dosisi 6 gram/polybag (M2), dosisi 9 gram/polybag (M3) Faktor kedua adalah NPK meliputi dosis 0 kg/ha (N0), 125 kg/ha (N1), 250 kg/ha (N2). Hasil penelitian uji F pada analisis ragam menunjukkan Dosis monosodium glutamat berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 30 HST, dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman 45 HST, diameter batang 30 dan 45 HST, jumlah polong, berat 100 bji, namun tidak berbeda nyata pada tinggi tanaman 15 HST dan diameter batang 15 HST. Dosis 6 gram/polybag (M2) merupakan dosis terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Dosis NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman pada 15, 30, 45 HST, diameter batang 15 dan 30 HST, dan berat 100 bji, namun berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter diameter batang 45 HST, jumlah polong. Interaksi dosis Monosodium Glutamat dan NPK berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 45 HST, dan jumlah polong pertanaman. Secara interaksi terbaik menunjukan dosis Monosodium glutamat 6 gram/polybag dengan pemberian dosis NPK 250 kg/ha dapat meningkatkan jumlah polong per tanaman.

Abstract

This research to know influence of some and concentration hormonal growth organic to the growth cutting of peppercorn real and whet her there is  interaction both of factor.  This research have been executed by in Garden Agriculture Faculity of Teuku  Umar University Meulaboh,  Aceh Barat  Started 14 August up to 27 October 2015. This research to used is a randomized  blokc desigh (RBD) with  3 x 4 and  3 with  there replications. The first factor consist of some hormonal growth organic of 3 level extract Shallot, young coconut water, and extract bean sprouts. Second factor consisting of 4 level that is concentration of some hormonal growth organic of  0% (contro), 15 %, 25% and 35%. The result showed that the influence of some organic hormonal growth were affected to amount of shoot, long of shoot, root, and root wight. This research show that the concentration some hormonal growth affeected to amount of shoot, long of shoot, root, long of root and root wight. Abstract

Kelor merupakan tanaman tropis yang sudah tumbuh dan berkembang di Indonesia memiliki banyak manfaat dan bernilai gizi tinggi sehingga banyak diminati. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pembibitan untuk memperbanyak tanaman kelor. Upaya perbanyakan tanaman kelor secara vegetatif stek dengan penambahan zat pengatur tumbuh dan pemilihan bagian stek yang tepat agar diperoleh hasil yang cepat dan jumlah yang banyak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis ZPT dan jenis bagian stek yang tepat agar di peroleh pertumbuhan stek tanaman kelor yang optimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2021 di Desa Padang kecamatan Manggeng kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya, menggunakan rancangan faktorial 4 x 3. Faktor pertama jenis ZPT yaitu kontrol, ekstrak bawang merah, Growtone 3.75 SP, Atonik, serta faktor kedua jenis bagian stek yaitu bagian pangkal, bagian tengah, bagian pucuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis ZPT berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang tunas umur 4 MST, berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tangkai daun umur 2 dan 4 MST. Namun, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap panjang tunas umur 2 MST, jumlah tunas umur 2 dan 4 MST. Jenis ZPT terbaik dijumpai pada jenis ZPT ekstrak bawang merah. Bagian stek berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang tunas umur 2 dan 4 MST serta jumlah tangkai daun umur 2 MST. Namun, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah tunas umur 2 dan  4 MST serta jumlah tangkai daun umur 4 MST. Bagian stek terbaik dijumpai pada bagian pangkal dan tengah batang. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara jenis ZPT dan bagian stek terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman kelor yang diamati.

Abstract

Peremajaan sawit rakyat (PSR) merupakan salah satu kegiatan strategi nasional yang masuk ke dalam kegiatan sarana dan prasarana. Program ini merupakan program pemerintah dalam membantu masyarakat yang berkecimpung di dalam perkebunan sawit agar perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat lebih berkualitas serta mengurangi resiko pembukaan lahan illegal. Namun, di dalam pelaksanaannya, masih banyak ditemukan proses verifikasi dana untuk peremajaan sawit tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, selain itu terdapatnya tumpang tindih atas hak lahan para pengusul ataupun penerima manfaat pada kegiatan ini. Agar terhindar dari terjadinya tumpang tindih atas hak lahan maka perlu dilakukan pemetaan atas lokasi yang diusulkan. Pemanfaatan sistem informasi geografis memudahkan dalam pelakukan kegiatan pemetaan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan kunjungan lapangan untuk melakukan perekaman titik koordinat pada lokasi yang menjadi usulan calon lahan kegiatan peremajaan sawit rakyat. Hasil penelitian berupa peta lokasi calon lahan, sehingga diharapkan kegiatan peremajaan sawit rakyat (PSR) di Kabupaten Nagan Raya dapat berlangsung dengan optimal.

Abstract

The study aimed to look at the effect of solid decanter and EM4 applications on the growth and production of melon plants (Cucumis melo L.) on Alluvial. Solid decanter is a raw organic matter and requires decomposition with EM4 so that nutrients can be utilized properly by melon plants. This research was carried out December-April 2022 at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar University, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province.  This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) factorial pattern of 4 x 4 with 3 repeats. The first factor is Solid Decanter (S) which consists of S0 (control), S1 (90 gr), S2(180 gr), S3(270 gr) and the second factor is EM4 (E) which consists of E0 (control), E1 (10ml), E2 (20ml), E3 (30ml). The results showed an interaction between solid decanter and EM4 against the diameter of the stem of melon plants at 14 HST.  This best treatment was found in the combination of S2E1 treatment, where the solid decanter dose of S2(180 gr) and EM4 E1 (10 ml) differed markedly from other treatment combinations.

Abstract

Research on the analysis of the suitability of the durian agrotourism area will have a positive impact on the long-term plans of the local government and the community who are planning the Sarah Raya village area as the durian center of Aceh Jaya. This research was carried out in Sarah Raya Village, Pasie Raya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, aimed at describing findings and measurement data in the field systematically, factually and comprehensively. This research examines the feasibility and suitability of land in Sarah Raya Village for cultivating durian plants as well as the potential and support for developing durian agrotourism areas in Sarah Raya Village. Indicators and field observation results show an annual average temperature of 26.1 °C in 2021-2022, relative humidity of 80% in 2022, Andosol soil type, altitude of 200-600 m above sea level, and rainfall of 3175.9 mm in 2021-2022, while Ph is in a neutral position of 5-7, the results of these measurements show that Sarah Raya Village is very suitable as a durian agro-tourism area, apart from that the potential and community support for the development of agro-tourism in Sarah Raya Village is very positive. This can be seen from the average response of 71% of respondents who gave a positive response to the development of agro-tourism areas.

Abstract

Abstrak Produksi mentimun secara nasional pada tahun 2012 sebanyak 511.485 ton, tahun 2013 sebanyak 491.636 ton, tahun 2014 sebanyak 477.976 ton, tahun 2016 sebanyak 430.218 ton, tahun 2017 sebanyak 424.917 ton, tahun 2018 sebanyak 447.677 ton, tahun 2019 sebanyak 430.201 ton. Salah satu pupuk cair yang digunakan adalah pupuk organik cair walet yang dapat dipergunakan untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah serta mudah diserap oleh tanaman apabila diberikan melalui daun. POC ini mengandung unsur hara makro, yaitu 0,011 % N; 6,26 mg per 200 ml P; 72,15 mg per 200 ml K, serta mengandung ZPT, yaitu 0,210 g l-1Asam Gibberelin;0,130 g l-1 Asam Indol Asetat; 0,130 g l-1, 0,105 g l-1Kinetin; dan 0,100 g l-1 Zeatin. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh Aceh Barat, dimulai dari bulan Febuari 2023 sampai dengan bulan April 2023. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non pola faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pupuk organic cair walet berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman mentimun umur 20 dan, 25 HST, diameter buah umur 25 HST, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 HST, diameter pangkal batang umur 25 dan 20 HST, diameter pangkal buah, berat buah dan panjang buah. Perlakuan terbaik dijumpai pada kosentrasi 6 ml -1 air (P2). Kata kunci : Mentimun (Cucumis sativus), pupuk organik cair walet, Pertumbuhan Abstract National cucumber production in 2012 was 511,485 tons, in 2013 was 491,636 tons, in 2014 was 477,976 tons, in 2016 was 430,218 tons, in 2017 was 424,917 tons, in 2018 was 447,677 tons, in 2019 was 430,201 tons. One of the liquid fertilizers used is swallow liquid organic fertilizer which can be used to increase soil fertility and is easily absorbed by plants when given through the leaves. This POC contains macro nutrients, namely 0.011% N; 6.26 mg per 200 ml P; 72.15 mg per 200 ml K, and contains ZPT, namely 0.210 g l-1 Gibberellin Acid; 0.130 g l-1 Indole Acetic Acid; 0.130 g l-1, 0.105 g l-1 Kinetin; and 0.100 g l-1 Zeatin. This research was carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar University, Meulaboh, West Aceh, starting from February 2023 to April 2023. The experimental design used in this study was a non-factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 3 replications. The results showed that swallow liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on cucumber plant height at 20 and 25 HST, fruit diameter at 25 HST, had no significant effect on plant height at 15 HST, stem base diameter at 25 and 20 HST, fruit base diameter, fruit weight and fruit length. Abstract

The cultivated method for some commodity of plant is one of the keys for optimum production. Shallot is one of main commodity of horticulture that has not been widely cultivated in Aceh Province especially in Gampong Ladang village West Aceh. The introduction of TSS (True Shallot Seed) is one of main idea to promote botany seed of shallot as planting material on shallot cultivation with more benefit compared of shallot bulb. The activities of public service were held in Gampong Ladang West Aceh. The methode of this activity include of: socialization, technical guidance of shallot cultivation, technic of land preparation, technic of seed germination, plantation in field, and evaluated with questioner method. The results obtained by the community are able to cultivated of shallot using TSS. The introduction and implementation of TSS on shallot cultivated is expected as information and made farmers interested to planted shallot in large area and make Gampong Ladang as centra of shallot production especially in West Aceh.
