Abstract

Penyakit busuk batang (Erwinia sp.) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang cepat menyebar diantara penyakit lainnya pada tanaman buah naga. Penyebarannya sangat mudah terutama pada kondisi kelembaban yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya serang penyakit busuk batang (Erwinia sp.) pada tanaman buah naga (Hylocereus costaricensis). Penelitian ini dilakukan di kebun tanaman buah naga UPTD BBHTPP Distanbun Aceh dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 5 blok dengan berbentuk pola “Z” terhadap kejadian dan kemampuan daya serang penyakit terhadap tanaman naga. Frekwensi pengamatan dilakukan sebanyak 7 kali setiap 2 minggu sekali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya serang penyakit busuk batang ini tergolong ringan yaitu 3,47%-23,75%, demikian pula halnya dengan kejadian penyakit yaitu 17,36-61,45%. Produktivitas buah naga di UPTD BBHTPP Distanbun Aceh yaitu 1,16-1,61 ton/ha.

Abstract

The low nutritional intake of the community is one of the factors causing stunting in infants and toddlers. Kampong Tanah Bara is one of the villages in the Gunung Meriah sub-district that has the highest stunting rate. In an effort to meet the nutritional needs of the Kampong Tanah Bara community, it is necessary to empower household yards. ladder to meet the nutritional needs of the family, so it is hoped that the stunting rate can be reduced. Community service activities in Kampong Tanah Bara aim to empower household yards so that they provide benefits in meeting the nutritional needs of families which are expected to have an impact on reducing stunting. The steps or methods implemented in the activities of using yard land are Focus Group Discussion (FGD), counseling, demonstration of nursery houses, verticulture and hydroponic demonstrations, and evaluation monitoring. The implementation of the service went well and according to plan, although there were also obstacles in the implementation of service activities, namely the lack of citizen participation and the condition of the soil in the sandy yard.

Abstract

Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai banyaknya manfaat yang terkandung pada tanaman kelor menyebabkan perkembangan tanaman kelor di Kampong Tanah Bara masih rendah. Mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan usaha untuk memperbanyak produksi tumbuhan kelor. Untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman dan mempercepat keberhasilan teknik pembibitan melalui pembiakan secara vegetatif di Kampong Tanah Bara, maka perlu penggunaan jenis pupuk kandang  dan ukuran diameter stek yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis pupuk kandang dan diameter stek batang terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelor. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah bibit Kampong Tanah Bara Kecamatan Gunung Meriah Kabupaten Aceh Singkil, pada Bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 2 faktor yaitu jenis pupuk kandang yang terdiri atas tigaperlakuan yaitu pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang ayam, dan pupuk kandang kambing. Faktor kedua adalah diameter stek yang terdiri atas tiga  ukuran, yaitu 2,1-3 cm, 3,1-4 cm, dan 4,1-5 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diameter stek berpengaruh terhadap panjang tunas umur 2,3,4 dan 5 MST, terhadap diameter tunas umur 2,4 dan 5 MST, diameter stek  tidak berpengaruh terhadap panjang tunas 3 MST.Perlakuan terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan diameter 4,1-5 cm. Diameter stek tidak  berpengaruh terhadap jumlah tangkai daun dan terhadap jumlah tunas. Jenis pupuk kandang berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua peubah pengamatan. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara jenis pupuk kandang dan diameter stek terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelor.

Abstract

The aims the research were to know the influence of age and number of planting seed/hole towards the growth and yield of rice plants, as well as real whether the interaction of both of these factors. The research was arranged by Randomized Block Design (RBD) factorial with 3 replicates. Treatment of replanting are : 10, 15, 20 and 25 after germination. The number of seeds are: 1, 2, and 3 seeds/hole. The research was conducted in Gampong Blang Baro sub-district of Kuala District Nagan Raya from January 10-May 08 2014. The results showed the replanting gave significant effect of the planlet number at 15 and 45 day after planting (DAP), significant of long panicles. Not significant on high of plant at 15, 30and 45 DAP, number of plantlets per clump at 30 DAP, flowering age and the number of plantlets per clump, high productive plants when harvesting, the number of panicle, pithy grain percentage, the percentage of empty grain, weights 100 grain, dried grain per plot and production yield per acre. The amount of seed gave significant effect against number of planlets at 15 DAP, not significant against plant at 15, 30 and 45 DAP, number of plantlets per clump age 30 and 45 DAP, flowering age and the number of plantlets per clump, high productive plants when harvesting, the number of panicle productive, panicles, pithy and hollow grain percentage, weight of dried grain per plot and production per acre. There is a very real interaction between age and total seedling planting move per planting hole against number of planlets at 15 DAP 100 grain weight and grain. Keywords : replanting, count of seed, growth and production of rice plant

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of mulch and NPK dose towards growth and production of red ginger and the interaction of both factors. This research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications, the first factor is kinds of mulch that consist of three levels: without mulch, straw mulch, and spadix palm mulch. The second factor is dose of NPK fertilizer that consist of three levels: 75, 100 and 125kg/Ha. This research was conducted at experimental farm, Faculty of Agriculture Teuku Umar University, Meulaboh West Aceh, from 4 February until June 2013. The research showed that kind of mulch influenced significantly on plant height, aged 90 and 120 after planting. The number of tillers/plant aged of 30 after planting, significant effect on plant height, aged 60 after planting, heavy of  rhizomes and production per hectare, but the effect was not significant on high plant, aged 30 after planting and the number of tillers aged 60, 90 and 120 after planting. The best Growth and production of red ginger found in spadix palm mulching and straw mulching. Dose of NPK fertilizer significantly affected the rhizome weight per clump and production per hectare, but was not significant on high plant, number of tillers/plant aged 30, 60, 90 and 120 after planting. The best production of ginger found in NPK dose of 125 kg/Ha. There was no significant interaction between mulch and NPK treatment against any observed variables. Keywords: dose of NPK, growth, mulch, red ginger

Abstract

This research to know response organic materials and some varieties to cucumber to result and growth atultisol and whet herthere is interaction both of factor.This research have been executed by in Garden Agriculture Faculity of TeukuUmar University Meulaboh, Aceh Barat Started 3 July up to 7 September 2015.This research to used is a randomized blokc desigh (RBD) with 3 x 4 and 3 with there replications. The first factor is  varieties 3 level: Hercules, Mercy, and Wuku. The second factor is organic material; 4 level that is control (without treatmant),10 tons/hectare, 20 tons/hectare, and 30 tons / hectare set organic. The results showed that the varieties signifcantly affectted plant height 15, 20, and 25 days after plantiny length diameter fruit. Where as 15 and 20 days after planting, fruit weight and production tons/hectare. Showed no significant effect on dose organic plant heigh 15, 20, and 25 days after planting, fruit weigh, fruit length, fruit to diameter, and productions total tons/hectare. Abstract

Food security is the principal problem in most countries in the world. One of the efforts to build food security of families through land use lawns that are beneficial in supporting the family in addition to nutritional needs at once to beauty (aesthetics) when optimally managed and planned. Land can be developed as an area of the Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL). This activity is conducted in Gampong Ujong Tanoh darat and Gampong Pasi Aceh Baroh Sub-district Meureubo, Aceh Barat. The selection of the location based on the consideration that location most of the inhabitants are farmers. The second reason is expected to give direct benefits of the existence of the Agriculture Faculty Of Teuku Umar University in the middle of the community. The third reason is to expect the gampong can become Small-scale Agriculture Faculty Of Teuku Umar University. The outer achievedare KRPL product andnursery. The outer of services are the achievement of self-reliance and material management of the farming community. The implementation of the activities carried out have been completed, KRPL vertikultur model, nursery, outreach to the community, and technical guidance to the community gampong. The success rate of the program was can be known the desire ofcommunity especially the housewife, prevail in their house by making use of the potential of the existing yards, though not exactly the same as the model that is applied. Keyword: Food Security, KRPL, Land, Vertikultur

Abstract

Kelapa sawit ( Elaeis guineensis jacq)  merupakan tanaman penghasil minyak tertinggi di indonesia. Luas areal, produksi dan ekspor komoditas kelapa sawit di Indonesia terus meningkat.    Budidaya kelapa sawit tidak terlepas dari gangguan penyakit tanaman termasuk penyakit karat daun (Cephaleuros vircens yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas dan hasil  TBS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intensitas serangan penyakit karat daun (Cephaleuros vircens) terhadap tanaman kelapa sawit telah dilakukan di Perkebunan PT.Agro Sinergi Nusantara Kebun Jaya Seujahtra Afdeling III. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling  dengan pola zigzag yang dari 5 titik sampel tiap blok. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa penyakit karat daun (Cephaleuros vircens) setiap minggunya mengalami peningkatan yang bervariasi dengan kejadian penyakit 71%-79%, namun demikian keparahan penyakit masih tergolong kategori sedang dengan persentase keparahan 33% - 36%. laju infeksi setiap minggu berada pada kisaran 0,045-0,056.

Abstract

Peremajaan sawit rakyat (PSR) merupakan salah satu kegiatan strategi nasional yang masuk ke dalam kegiatan sarana dan prasarana. Program ini merupakan program pemerintah dalam membantu masyarakat yang berkecimpung di dalam perkebunan sawit agar perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat lebih berkualitas serta mengurangi resiko pembukaan lahan illegal. Namun, di dalam pelaksanaannya, masih banyak ditemukan proses verifikasi dana untuk peremajaan sawit tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, selain itu terdapatnya tumpang tindih atas hak lahan para pengusul ataupun penerima manfaat pada kegiatan ini. Agar terhindar dari terjadinya tumpang tindih atas hak lahan maka perlu dilakukan pemetaan atas lokasi yang diusulkan. Pemanfaatan sistem informasi geografis memudahkan dalam pelakukan kegiatan pemetaan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan kunjungan lapangan untuk melakukan perekaman titik koordinat pada lokasi yang menjadi usulan calon lahan kegiatan peremajaan sawit rakyat. Hasil penelitian berupa peta lokasi calon lahan, sehingga diharapkan kegiatan peremajaan sawit rakyat (PSR) di Kabupaten Nagan Raya dapat berlangsung dengan optimal.

Abstract

Nutmeg is one of the most popular export commodities in the world. Starting from seeds, mace, and nutmeg oil, they are targeted in the pharmaceutical, perfume and cosmetic industries as well as the food and beverage industry. However, it is still rare for nutmeg skin to be used and processed into a product of economic value. In society, a lot of nutmeg meat is thrown away and becomes waste. The IKM empowerment program at the Nutmeg IKM center aims to develop the knowledge and skills of nutmeg business actors in the South Aceh IKM Center to process nutmeg waste into value-added food products. This program promotes the manufacture of dodol made from nutmeg or called Dodol Pala. The program implementation method is divided into three stages: (1) Preparation, designing activities and coordinating with the South Aceh Nutmeg IKM Sentra UPTD; (2) Implementation of guidance, namely developing the knowledge of business actors about processed products made from nutmeg and (3) Training and mentoring, training activities with direct practice of making nutmeg dodol. Assistance is focused on making product packaging and marketing. This training involved various parties, including members of the Teuku Umar University Higher Education, South Aceh Nutmeg IKM Sentra UPTD, nutmeg business actors (IKM), and students. The achievement of this activity, the participants succeeded in developing knowledge about the benefits of nutmeg assessed from their participation during the three days following the activity. In addition, the participants also succeeded in making good quality nutmeg dodol. This activity is expected to be a motivation for nutmeg business actors in South Aceh district to implement their knowledge after this activity.
