Abstract

Pembelajaran desain interior dan eksterior di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 2 Kendal menggunakan media edukatif berbasis augmented reality (AR) dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan abstraksi siswa yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk media edukatif berbasis augmented reality untuk pembelajaran desain interior&eksterior siswa SMK, (2) mendeskripsikan karakteristik media AR yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksi siswa dan (3) mengevaluasi kelayakan (valid & praktis) kemudian menguji keefektifan media AR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan model Borg & Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media berbasis AR mampu meningkatkan daya abstraksi siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran desain interior dan eksterior. Media berbasis AR juga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan beberapa tahapan uji coba, media berbasis dikategorikan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Perolehan rata-rata hasil validasi pada aspek isi dan tampilan media skor rata-rata 4,2 dan 4,3 dalam kategori sangat baik dan baik, Hasil uji ketuntasan belajar menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (nilai gain = 0,51 > kelas kontrol = 0,39), dengan nilai ini artinya siswa dengan media edukatif AR lebih baik dari kelas kontrol yang menggunanakan media lama. Jadi, media edukatif ini efektif untuk pembelajaran. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah dapat menambah pengetahuan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi khususnya dengan media augmented reality untuk pembelajaran desain interior dan eksterior dalam upaya meningkatkan daya abstraksi siswa SMK.The learning of interior & exterior design at vocational High School 2 Kendal uses augmented reality-based educational media (AR) caused by low student abstraction ability. This study aims to: (1) produce augmented reality-based educational products for interior & exterior design students learning SMK, (2) to describe the characteristics of AR media that can improve students abstraction ability and (3) evaluate feasibility (valid & practical) and then test the effectiveness of AR media. The research method used is research and development of Borg & Gall model. The results showed that AR-based media able to increase the abstraction of students in understanding the learning of interior and exterior design. AR-based media is also worthy of use in learning. Based on several stages of testing, media-based categorized as valid, practical, and effective use in learning. The average result of the validation results on the content and media display aspect of the average score of 4.2 and 4.3 in the category is very good and good, The result of learning completeness test shows the learning result of the experimental class (value of gain = 0,51 > the control class = 0.39), with this value means that students with AR educational media are better than control classes that use old media. So, this educative media is effective for learning. The benefits of this research is to increase knowledge in the utilization of information and communication technology especially with augmented reality media for interior and exterior design learning in an effort to increase abstraction power of vocational students.

Abstract

Three main resources of school financial management problem in Indonesia are (a) the low transparency and accountability (b) the inappropriate standard operating procedures (SOP), and (c) the inappropriate operational fund calculating system. This research aims to develop the school financial management system. This is a research and development (R&D) which implemented three main steps, i.e. (a) describing the school financial management system, (b) developing a model, and (c) validating the model. The subjects of the study were two state senior high schools in Pemalang regency. There are three main results of this research. They are the real description of the school financial management system, the model or SOP for financial management, and the model for calculating the school operational fund. After being validated, the models were proven effective.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that the teachers have not carried out any independent action research to improve the learning quality and promotion. The purpose of this research is to analyze the actual model of classroom action research training for senior high school (SMA) teachers that have been carried out for years, to analyze the hypothetical model of an E-Module-based classroom action research training for high school teachers, and to analyze the final model of the E-Module-based classroom action research (CAR) training for SMA teachers. The method used in this study was research and development. The data were collected using interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaire, and test. The research results indicate that the final model of the E-Module-based classroom action research training is highly effective. The results of the extended trial show that the E-Module-based classroom action research training is able to properly facilitate teachers to implement and write a CAR research report independently and easily. E-Module-based CAR training assists teachers in understanding the CAR. This is understandable because E-Module-based CAR can be accessed anywhere and anytime through the Internet. The conclusion of this research is that E-Module-based CAR training makes it easy for teachers to conduct classroom action research because participants can access the E-Module via the browser.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to find the final model of Civil Servant (PNS) entrepreneurship education and training (DIKLAT) management based on Achievement Motivation Training (PMB) which is suitable to be applied in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. This research employed a research and development (R & D) method. The ten (10) steps contained in the method were modified into three, namely the preliminary stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The data source was civil servants who were attending the education and training program in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. Data were drawn from the respondents through interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observations, as well as pre and post test. The data were validated using validity and reliability tests. The effectiveness of the model was assessed using pre and post tests. The result of this research shows that the civil servant entrepreneurship education and training management model based on achievement motivation training is feasible to be applied in Regional Human Resources Development Board of Central Java Province. The effectiveness of the model is proven by the pre and post test results showing that it improves the need for achievement/n-Ach) from 5.27 to 8.10, the need for affiliation/n-Aff from 1.80 to 2.00, and the need for power/n-Pow motive from 4.63 to 5.27; there is an increase of  each from medium to high category.

Abstract

Efforts to prepare better future generations through local character education based on local wisdom should be done since early childhood. The purpose of this research is to explain (1) the implementation of character education based on local wisdom, (2) character education management based on local wisdom, and (3) factors that influence the management of character education based on local wisdom. Data were drawn using (1) interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation techniques. The data were analyzed by means of an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and inference. The results show that (1) the character values taught in PAUD KB Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyah Cirebon City adopt the kinship system which is one of the local cultural centers in Cirebon City. The local wisdom of the communities in Cirebon is derived from SGJ, especially the sayings of SGJ which imply piety, belief, discipline, wisdom, policy, decency, manners and social life; (2) the character education management that is based on the local wisdom includes planning, implementation, and supervision; (3) the supporting factors in the implementaton of the character education management include the government support, human resources, facilities, programmed activities, support of school residents, parents, and surrounding communities. The inhibiting factors include limited control of the school after the students are off school and the influence of the media. The local wisdom based character education is planned with reference to the school vision, i.e. "Forming a smart, good, skilled, and noble learner”. Character education can be integrated into every subject and linked to the context of everyday life. As a supervisor, the principal has supervised and guided the teacher periodically during each turn of the school year. The learning method that is based on local wisdom is in accordance with the reference of the Directorate of Early Childhood Education. The results of this study can be used as a reference for preparing and planning the management of local-based character education in early childhood education, and providing input for PAUD managers in developing and implementing the model of planning, implementation, and supervision of character education that is based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan minat belajar siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division berbantu media animasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen non-equivalent control group design. Data yang diperoleh berupa skor pretest-posttest hasil belajar dan angket yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji N-gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif dan minat belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Selain itu analisis uji gain menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,404 dengan kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,285 dengan kategori rendah. Sedangkan peningkatan minat belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,387 dengan kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,256 dengan kategori rendah. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantu media animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan minat siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran fisika berbasis scratch dan mengetahui kelayakan media tersebut. Proses pengembangan media ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 4D Models (define, design, development, dissemination). Subjek penelitian ini adalah validator materi, validator media, siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pekalongan, dan guru mata pelajaran fisika. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk multimedia pembelajaran fisika berbasis scratch berupa simulasi hukum Oersted dan video pembelajaran yang dikemas dalam website. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh validator materi dan media terhadap multimedia pembelajaran fisika menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran fisika ini sangat layak digunakan. Hasil uji coba multimedia pada siswa dan guru menunjukkan tanggapan yang positif terhadap penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran.   The purposes of this study are to know how physics learning multimedia based on scratch is developed and to know the feasibility of the multimedia. The procedure in developing this media is using 4D Models (define, design, development, dissemination). The subjects of this study are validator for the material and the media, students of XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pekalongan, and he physics teachers. The result of the study is multimedia products based on scratch, they are Oersted’s law simulation and learning video which are collected in website. The result of the of multimedia from validator for material and media to the phisycs learning multimedia shows that this media is very feasible to be used. The result for the response of the students and teachers show a very good response to the usage of this media in learning process.

Abstract

Proses pembuktian dan pemahaman suatu teori membutuhkan suatu gambaran yang jelas mengenai kasus yang dikaji. Untuk membantu proses tersebut, diperlukan penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk animasi ataupun alat peraga seperti komputer, proyektor, smartphone, ataupun web dalam pembelajaran sesuai dengan materi dan perkembangan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran BARy (Board’s Augmented Reality) pada pokok bahasan elektrostatika sebagai tambahan atau pelengkap pembelajaran materi elektrostatika, menguji validitas dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini mengikuti model 4D ( Four-D Models ) yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develope (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan media meliputi aspek desain pembelajaran, aspek pengembangan perangkat lunak, dan aspek komunikasi visual. Nilai pengujian akan ditentukan oleh para pengguna aplikasi ini yaitu mahasiswa jurusan fisika angkatan 2014. Media pembelajaran BARy (Board’s Augmented Reality) pada pokok bahasan elektrostatika memiliki filtur seperti tampilan augmented reality, terdapat buku panduan, video penggunaan serta dapat menampilkan pemodelan, simulai dan interaksi pada muatan listik. Hasil validasi yang mencangkup aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak, aspek substansi materi, dan aspek desain komunikasi menghasilkan nilai 4,60 (92%), 4,57 (91%), dan 4.17 (83%). Secara keseluruhan menghasilkan nilai rata – rata 4,45 atau 89% yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi BARy ini layak digunakan. Sedangkan hasil dari pengujian aplikasi dengan mahasiswa menghasilkan nilai 3,92 atau 78% yang menunjukkan aplikasi BARy ini termasuk baik atau layak untuk digunakan.   The process of proof and understanding of a theory requires a clear picture of the case of study. To help the process, it is necessary to use learning media in the form of animation or teaching aids such as computers, projectors, smartphones, or the web in learning in accordance with the material and technological developments. The purpose of this study is to develop BARY (Board's Augmented Reality) learning media on the subject of electrostatics in addition to or complementary electrostatic material learning, testing its validity and effectiveness. This study follows the 4D (Four-D Models) model, which is define (define), design (design), develope (development), and disseminate (spread). Validation is carried out by material experts and media including aspects of learning design, aspects of software development, and aspects of visual communication. The value of the test will be determined by the users of this application, namely students of the 2014 physics department. BARy's learning media (Board's Augmented Reality) on the subject of electrostatics has a filtur such as augmented reality display, a guidebook, video usage and can display modeling, simulations and interactions on electric charge. Validation results that included aspects of software engineering, material substance aspects, and communication design aspects resulted in values ​​of 4.60 (92%), 4.57 (91%), and 4.17 (83%). Overall it produces an average value of 4.45 or 89% which indicates that the BARy application is worthy of use. While the results of testing applications with students produce a value of 3.92 or 78% which indicates that the BARy application is good or feasible to use.

Abstract

Interesting learning methods and media can support the learning process being fun and improve students' skills. This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry methods assisted by video practicum tutorials on science process skills, cooperative skills and student responses. The study was conducted in Jepara Middle School 5 2018/2019 school year. The population of the study was  9th grade students. Determination of the sample with a cluster random sampling system so that two classes are obtained to be sampled. The experimental class received treatment using guided inquiry methods assisted by practical tutorial video and control classes using guided inquiry methods. Hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that: (1) There were differences results of significant scientific process skills between guided inquiry learning assisted by video practicum tutorials compared to guided inquiry learning; (2) The results of collaboration skills observation between guided inquiry learning assisted by practical video tutorials are better than guided inquiry learning; (3) Students show a very good respond (average score of all students 115). By using interesting and fun learning media, it can make students be motivated and interested in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of blended learning method based on quipper school media in order to improve students understanding of the concept and their independece learning in science learning. The research method used is quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The data collected using observation techniques and tests. The population in this research is all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Sumowono consists of 193 students. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Class VIII D is selected as the experimental class, while class VIII F is selected as the control class. The results showed that: (1) classical accomplishment of experimental class increased by 28.13% and control class increased by 15.62%. This suggests that there is an increase in the students' understanding of the concept of experimental class on the medium criterion, while the control class on low criterion; (2) Learning independence of experimental class is 76.78% and is in self-supporting category. The conclusion of this research is that the blend learning method based on Quipper School is effective to improve the students’ understanding of the concept and their learning independence of the students. Blend learning method based on Quipper School is expected to be a reference to be applied in learning
