Abstract

Munaqosah adalah penilaian kinerja untuk mengukur. proses dan produk. Munaqosah tahfidzul Qur’an merupakan pengukuran yang bertujuan untuk menguji kemampuan siswa dalam menghafal ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Kegiatan munaqosah tahfidzul Qur’an di MIM Kerten Banyudono Boyolali bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi tahfidz Al-Qur’an,  dan untuk mengetahui hasil capaian program pendampingan tahfidz Al-Qur’an, dan karakter siswa di MIM Kerten Banyudono melalui ujian munaqosah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dari 107 siswa setelah mengikuti Muraja’ah yang dibimbing guru. Hasil implementasi dan capaian program tahfidz Al-Qur’an terlihat saat ujian munaqosah yang dilaksanakan tanggal 11 Februari 2020 adalah Siswa yang mengikuti ujian munaqosah sebanyak 58%. 50 siswa tersaring untuk hafalan surah An-Naba dan 12 siswa untuk Surah Al-Mulk, serta dua orang tidak bersedia mengikuti ujian. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, simpulan yang dapat dikemukakan adalah 48 siswa dengan hafalan surah An-Naba dan 12 siswa dengan hafalan surah Al-Mulk dinyatakan lulus oleh TIM Munaqosah sehingga total keseluruhan sebanyak 60 siswa. Karakter yang muncul adalah Jujur, budaya antri, sabar, kreatif, tanggung jawab serta mandiri.

Abstract

SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Program Unggulan Colomadu (SMP MUTU) mencanangkan program unggulan berupa pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi. Namun, keterampilan guru dalam hal mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Information Communication and Technology (ICT) masih perlu ditingkatkan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Multimedia interaktif dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi Articulate Storyline versi 3.12. Kegiatan ini meliputi empat tahapan umum, yaitu (1) sosialisasi dan persiapan, (2) penyiapan modul pelatihan, (3) pelaksanaan, dan (4) evaluasi dan monitoring. Empat tahap tersebut dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dan virtual dan diikuti oleh 12 guru SMP MUTU. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai penguasaan materi pelatihan oleh guru berkisar antar 67,85 sampai dengan 100. Sedangkan kategori nilai individu guru tentang penguasaan materi pelatihan adalah baik dengan jumlah 3 orang dan sangat baik dengan jumlah 9 orang. Pada akhir kegiatan, lebih dari 83% guru merespon kegiatan ini dengan sangat baik dalam hal peningkatan kualitas multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Pelatihan meningkatkan kemampuan guru di SMP MUTU dalam mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis ICT. Training on Development of Interactive Learning Multimedia at SMP MUTU Using Articulate Storyline   Teachers' skills at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu (SMP MUTU) in developing technology-based interactive learning multimedia need to be improved. This program aims to provide a training to the teachers of SMP MUTU in developing interactive learning multimedia. Interactive multimedia was developed using the Articulate Storyline application version 3.12. This program includes four general stages, namely (1) socialization of activities, (2) preparation of training modules, (3) implementation, and (4) evaluation. The four stages were carried out by face-to-face and virtual methods. The results of the evaluation showed that the value of mastery of training materials by teachers ranged from 67.85 to 100 scores. In addition, three teachers belong to the category of good and nine teachers belong to the category of excellent in terms of mastery of training materials. Also, more than 83% of teachers responded very well to this program in terms of improving the quality of interactive learning multimedia. In summary, this program can provide significant understanding and experience to teachers at SMP MUTU in developing interactive learning multimedia

Abstract

Blood glucose levels that remain high over a prolonged period can increase the risk of diseases such as diabetes. Astaxanthin and chitosan from whiteleg shrimp shells and flavonoids from soursop leaves have the potential to lower blood sugar by enhancing insulin sensitivity and inhibiting glucose absorption. This study aimed to assess the potential of shrimp shell extract (SSE) and soursop leaf extract (SLE) as antidiabetic agents in mice. A completely randomized design (CRD) experiment was conducted using 24 male mice (body weight 20-30 g, aged 3-4 months). Twenty mice were induced with hyperglycemia using alloxan at 150 mg/kg body weight, while four mice served as the control. Mice were divided into 6 groups (4 mice each): K1 (control), K2 (Alloxan induction), K3 (SSE 37.5 mg/kg BW), K4 (SSE 42.5 mg/kg BW), K5 (SLE 350 mg/kg BW), K6 (SLE 450 mg/kg BW). Treatments were administered for 14 days, and blood glucose levels were measured on Day 0 and Day 14 using a glucometer strip test. Results showed the highest blood glucose reduction in group K4 (83.81%). Normality and homogeneity tests indicated the data were normal and homogeneous (P>0.05). One-way ANOVA analysis (Fhit α=0.01 > Ftab, 9.53 > 4.25, P<0.01) revealed that SSE and SLE had a very significant effect as antidiabetic agents in lowering mice blood glucose levels. Duncan's post-hoc test confirmed K4 and K6 as the most significant groups. It can be concluded that SSE (42.5 mg/kg BW) and SLE (450 mg/kg BW) are effective in lowering blood glucose levels in mice and hold potential to be developed as antidiabetic agents for managing diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Indonesia's multicultural landscape presents both opportunities and challenges for educational institutions in fostering inclusive learning environments. This mixed-method case study explores the experiences of Biology Education pre-service teachers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), particularly within a Project-Based Practicum (PBP) in a Histology course. The research involved 43 students as participants. Data were collected using two instruments: a modified short-form Multicultural Personality Questionnaire (MPQ) and a semi-structured interview guide. Quantitative data from the MPQ were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative interview data were examined through thematic analysis. The findings reveal that UMS students demonstrate high levels of tolerance, cultural empathy, and collaboration skills, essential for navigating diverse educational settings. However, challenges such as language barriers and cultural nuances were observed, particularly among minority groups from various Javanese regions. The implementation of PBP proved effective in enhancing students' interaction, communication, and adaptability. These results underscore the importance of inclusive, project-based learning models in developing cross-cultural competence, emotional resilience, and open-mindedness in multicultural classrooms

Abstract

Typically, biology students pursue natural sciences. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected and reliant on digital technologies and platforms, it is essential to evaluate their technological preparedness. This study aims to validate a mapping instrument of the digital competence of pre-service Biology teachers in a leading private university in Indonesia. The analysis used the Rasch model to measure the validity and reliability of questionnaire instrument utilizing the Logit Value of Item (LVI). The Digital competency (Digcom) questionnaire contains 36 statements in the Indonesian language (Bahasa). This questionnaire aims to record respondents' answers to digital skills for preservice teachers. The statement is adapted from the digital competence area for EU citizens combined with the Digital Literacy guidelines of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information. The result of the retranslation has been validated to remove the ambiguity of each item of the statement by English language experts. The pilot research was conducted on preservice teachers from different backgrounds (gender, department, and year of study) in a private University (n=261). The findings indicated that all the items were deemed acceptable as they met the criteria for the PTMEA-CORR range, MNSQ outfit, and ZSTD outfit. This study is among the few that have explored the digital competency framework of preservice teacher students in Indonesia, specifically in relation to the difficulty level of each competency area.

Abstract

Minuman instan yang dikemas dalam kantong plastik dapat dijual dan ditemukan pada toko-toko, warung kecil, dan pedagang kaki lima dengan bebas. Masyarakat tidak menyadari bahwa mengkonsumsi minuman instan berlebihan dapat mengganggu kesehatan, karena dalam komposisi minuman instan tersebut terdapat bahan pemanis buatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi minuman instan dengan frekuensi berbeda terhadap kadar ureum darah mencit (Mus musculus). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen, yang mengguna-kan sampel 20 ekor mencit jantan, berumur 2-3 bulan dan berat 20-40 g yang terbagi ke dalam 4 kelompok, yaitu Placebo, kelompok 1, kelompok 2, dan kelompok 3. Bahwa pemberian minuman instan dengan volume 0,5 ml/20g BB selama 10 hari ada pengaruh terhadap kadar ureum darah mencit (Mus musculus). Kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan antara kelompok perlakuan placebo, perlakuan 1, dan perlakuan 2 tidak menunjukkan hasil yang bermakna, sedangkan ke-lompok perlakuan 3 yang menunjukkan perlakuan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kadar ureum darah mencit (Mus musculus). Sehingga dari hasil penelitian dan analisa data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian minuman instan merk Marimas rasa jeruk dengan volume 0,5ml/20 g BB berpengaruh terhadap kadar ureum darah mencit (Mus musculus), dan perlakuan yang paling berpengaruh yaitu kelompok perlakuan 3 dengan pemberian minuman sachet merk Marimas rasa jeruk tiga kali sehari diwaktu pagi, siang dan sore selama 10 hari dibandingkan dengan kelompok placebo, perlakuan 1 dan perlakuan 2.
