Abstract

Consumptive behavior among generation Z, especially vocational high school students, is becoming an increasingly worrying phenomenon along with technological advances and unlimited access to information. This study aims to determine the effect of information services using flipbook media in reducing consumptive behavior of generation Z at SMK Nur Azizi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all 120 grade XI students of SMK Nur Azizi, with a sample of 35 students selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a validated consumptive behavior questionnaire, both before and after the provision of information services using flipbook media. Data analysis used the t-test (paired sample t-test) with the help of SPSS. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value (sig.) 0.000 <0.05. This shows that information services with flipbook media are effective in reducing the level of student consumptive behavior. The conclusion of this study is that the use of flipbook media as a means of information services can be an innovative and educational alternative in guidance and counseling to help students control consumptive behavior. This study provides recommendations for BK teachers to be more creative in using attractive visual media to convey information related to personal financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance services with assertive trainingtechniques on social interactions of SMK Nur Azizi Tanjung Morawa students in the2024/2025 Academic Year. Group guidance services with an assertive training approachplay an important role in improving students' ability to interact socially in a healthy andpositive way in their social environment and in their surroundings. Through the applicationof this assertive training technique, students are expected to be able to overcome various obstacles in communicating and interacting with others such as shyness, lack of self-confidence, or fear of rejection. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design with the help of the SPSS version 23.00 for windows program. The population in this study was 72 students, and samples were takenby purposive sampling of 10 students who had low levels of social interaction. The resultsof data analysis in this study showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 and a t-test valueof 7.370, which indicates that group guidance services with assertive training techniqueshave a significant effect on improving students' social interactions at school. Thus, it can beconcluded that this intervention is effective in helping students develop better social skills.This finding is expected to be a reference for BK teachers in designing appropriate guidanceservices to improve students' social interactions at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas X-12 MAN 2 Deli Serdang Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pra eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Popolasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 2 Deli Serdang yang berjumlah 432 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 siswa yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket kemandirian belajar yang berjumlah 35 butir pernyataan yang telah valid dan reliabel. Angket diberikan sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh signifikan pemberian bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah terhadap belajar kemandirian siswa. Data hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan interpretasi indeks korelasi product moment maka hasil perhitungan tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara variabel kemandirian belajar sebelum diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah dengan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang berarti dari pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik pemecahan masalah terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa kelas X-12 MAN 2 Deli Serdang Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between social interaction and self-concept in understanding rules among students. Social interaction is a dynamic relationship that brings people together, groups with groups, and individuals with human groups. Whereas self-concept is an individual's perception of themselves based on what is actually happening and what they want to happen. The research method used in this study is quantitative research using a correlational research design. The population in this study consists of all 200 students in class XI at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. The sample size is 35 students, selected using the simple random sampling technique, which involves random selection. The instruments used were a social interaction questionnaire and a self-concept questionnaire, using a likert scale with a checklist format. The Cronbach's Alpha value for the social interaction questionnaire is 0.925, and for the self-concept questionnaire, it is 0.871, indicating reliability. The results of the hypothesis testing yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.529, which falls within the coefficient interval of 0.40-0.599, indicating a moderate level of relationship. The significance (p) was 0.000 < 0.05, meaning the two variables have a positive relationship. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the calculated value of R Square is 0.280, which means that 28% of self-concept is influenced by social interaction. Meanwhile, 72% of self-concept is influenced by several factors, namely competence, physical, feelings, self-actualization, virtue, and parents.
