Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the extent to which the influence of farmer age, citrus farming experience, number of dependents, citrus capital, and total area of ​​citrus land on the conversion of citrus land to oil palm in Sumber Bakti Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency. This study took 31 samples from a total of 31 populations with consideration of farmers converting citrus land to oil palm. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study simultaneously show that the variables of farmer's age, citrus farming experience, number of dependents, citrus capital, and the total area of ​​citrus land influences the farmer's decision to change land functions. Although partially only the variables of farmer's age, citrus capital, and total area of ​​citrus land that influence farmers' decisions to convert citrus land to oil palm.

Abstract

Marketing is considered efficient if it is able to convey results from producers to consumers and is able to make a fair distribution. The aim of the study was to determine the marketing channel and the amount of marketing margin by marketing agencies involved in shrimp marketing that occurred at TPI Alue Ambang Village, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency. This research was conducted in Alue Ambang Village, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency. There are two data used, namely primary data and secondary data. Data was collected from survey results with field observations. Snowball sampling sample method for a sample of fishermen with a total of 60 people. 7 collectors, 2 wholesalers. The results of this study are that there are two marketing channels that occur, namely from fishermen, then to collectors, then to wholesalers until it finally reaches consumers, and from fishermen, then to collectors, then to retailers until finally it reaches consumers. Meanwhile, the shrimp marketing margin at TPI Alue Ambang Village, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency was IDR 45,000 in the first marketing channel. And IDR. 20,000 occurred in the second marketing channel.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence farmers in implementing an integrated agricultural system in Langkak village, Kuala Coast sub-district, Nagan Raya regency. This research was carried out from October to December 2022. The analytical method used in this research was the logistic regression analysis method and to determine the Y value using dummy variable data, namely 1 = decision to implement integrated agriculture, 0 = decision not to implement integrated agriculture. This research took 30 farmers as samples using a saturated method based on consideration of who took part in the socialization in the 2022 PPK Ormawa program in Langkak village. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews and observation. Based on data processing, it shows that the variables age, education, land area, length of farming, and income have a big impact on farmers' decisions to implement an integrated farming system. Although simultaneously only the variables age and length of farming have a significant effect, apart from that they do not have a significant effect on farmers' decisions to implement an integrated farming system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of the Padang Village Community, Manggeng District, Aceh Barat Daya District towards the Sustainable Food Home Area (KRPL). This research was conducted in Padang Village, Manggeng District, Southwest Aceh District. This research was conducted in January 2023 until completion. The sampling model in this study used simple random sampling, namely sampling regardless of strata in one population. the study population was 310 heads of households, the sampling approach from the population used the Slovin formula with a leeway of 15% (e = 15%). Then a sample of 39 heads of households can be drawn. The data sources to be used in this study consist of primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method in this study used a Likert Scale by looking at the comparison index of the total score of certain criteria, the perception index in this study was calculated. From the results of research on people's perceptionstowards the implementation of Sustainable Food Home Areas (KRPL) where each indicator can be categorized as very suitable for each indicator which inBenefit indicator with a grade point index of 87.30%, Ease of implementation indicator with a grade point index of 89.74%, Conformity indicator in application with a grade point index of 91.03% and KRPL Sustainability Indicators with a grade point index of 91.03%.
