Abstract

Technology has provided new methods of presenting the information. Information can be easily accessed anywhere and anytime. One of the Regional Governments of Indonesia takes this advantage by creating an information system called InfoLoker Kab. Karawang to make it easier for citizens to find job vacancies. Of this importance, it interests researchers to conduct a study to evaluate the website’s quality based on the dimensions of the WebQual 4.0 method. WebQual is a method for measuring a website's quality based on the end user's point of view. The data source is taken from InfoLoker Kab. Karawang website users through a survey method with a sample of 118 respondents and data analysis using SmartPLS. According to the discussion results, the quality of the InfoLoker Kab. Karawang’s website was good, with ratings of 73.3%, 74.3%, and 62.2% for the dimensions of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality, accordingly. Overall user satisfaction is significantly impacted by the quality of the information and service interactions, but not by usability because usability’s t-value is under 0.96. However, the website's quality can still be improved, particularly in the service interaction dimension, by improving the security of the user's personal information because even though the service interaction quality dimension significantly influences user satisfaction, it has the lowest quality score

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the very rapid development of information technology cannot be avoided, one of which is in the world of education. Global demands require the education sector to constantly adjust technological developments with efforts to improve the quality of education, adjust the use of information and communication technology. STMIK Rosma is a university that uses computer technology. However, there are still deficiencies, namely the absence of a student complaint handling application so that there is no time efficiency in submitting student complaints, no data on student complaints, and staff cannot document complaints that have been resolved, and the university leadership of the campus cannot monitor student complaints. STMIK Rosma has difficulties in handling student complaints because there is no computational process in the complaint handling process. This resulted in poor handling and decreased performance because the handling was still manual so that it was no longer effective in handling complaints. This study aims to analyze the functional requirements of the application for handling complaints of STMIK Rosma students. The method used in this study uses PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Service). The results of this study, based on the problems that the root of the problem has been identified, are based on the input and output processes and their solutions, which are the basis for producing an analysis of functional requirements needed in building student complaint handling applications.

Abstract

Abstrak: Business Process Management Sistem Pendaftaran Pasien Rawat Inap RS Dewi Sri Menggunakan Metode Root Cause Analysis. Efektivitas dan efisiensi proses bisnis menjadi tujuan bagi manajemen, RS Dewi Sri sebagai organisasi yang bergerak dibidang pelayanan kesehatan, memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang berdampak pada kepuasan pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis business process management (BPM) untuk peningkatan proses bisnis di RS Dewi Sri dengan ruang lingkup pendaftaran pasien rawat inap. Metode root cause analysis diusulkan untuk dapat memotret masalah dan memberikan solusi peningkatan proses bisnis pendaftaran di RS Dewi Sri. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap masalah terkait efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis serta usulan ide peningkatan proses bisnis yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk menginisiasi pengembangan aplikasi RS Dewi Sri, dengan outcome peningkatan kepuasan layanan kepada pasien serta peningkatan performance dari bagian pendaftaran. Kata kunci: problem analysis; root cause analysis; business process management; proses bisnis; efisiensi, efektivitas. Abstract: Business Process Management Inpatient Registration System for Inpatient Dewi Sri Hospital Using Root Cause Analysis Method. The effectiveness and efficiency of business processes is a goal for management, Dewi Sri Hospital as an organization engaged in health services, has a goal to improve service quality which has an impact on service satisfaction. This study aims to carry out a business process management analysis to improve business processes at Dewi Sri Hospital with the scope of inpatient registration. The root cause analysis method is proposed to be able to photograph the problem and provide solutions to improve the registration business process at Dewi Sri Hospital. The results of this study reveal problems related to the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes as well as proposed business process improvement ideas that can be implemented to initiate the development of the Dewi Sri Hospital application, with the outcome of increasing patient service satisfaction and improving performance from the registration department. Abstract

Purpose:  Arabica coffee beans have been widely cultivated in various parts of the world. The need for coffee beans is estimated to increase every year. This was followed by the rapid growth of franchised coffee shops and cafes, therefore Arabica coffee beans have been traded legally in the world, thus making the price of these Arabica coffee beans a public concern. This prediction of the price of Arabica coffee beans can be input for business actors in the coffee shop, café franchises, and farmers in the decision-making process. This study aims to predict the price of Arabica coffee beans in 2023 and 2024 using the long short-term memory (LSTM) Algorithm.Methods:  The research procedure is carried out by collecting data, data analysis, and preprocessing, and building a forecasting model using the Long Short-Term Memory Network (LSTM) algorithm. Arabica coffee bean price datasets in this study were taken from The Pink Sheet World Bank Commodity Price Data, which presents Arabica coffee bean prices from 1960 to February 2023.Results:  The results of this study indicate the predicted price of Arabica coffee beans in 2023 and 2024 with Error (MAE), which is the average absolute difference between the actual value and the predicted value.Novelty:  What is most important and what differentiates it from previous research is in the preprocessing using two algorithms namely MinMaxScaler and Sliding Window. Meanwhile, for the training model, GridSearchCV is used. The model is evaluated using the lost function using Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) thereby making it easy to evaluate the performance of the model.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan perkembangan ekosistem digital menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki kompetensi praktis dalam merancang solusi berbasis teknologi informasi. Namun, siswa tingkat SMA/SMK sering kali mengalami kesenjangan antara pembelajaran teoretis di sekolah dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia industri dan startup. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan praktis melalui workshop bertema “Optimizing Business Efficiency: Practical Approaches to Business Process Management and Web Solutions” kepada siswa SMAN 1 Telagasari dan SMK Wirasaba di Kabupaten Karawang. Upskill difokuskan pada tiga kompetensi utama: pemetaan proses bisnis menggunakan pendekatan Business Process Management (BPM), perancangan solusi web berbasis CMS (Wix/WordPress), serta pengenalan teknik analisis sistem yang sederhana. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis proyek (project-based learning) dengan kegiatan yang mencakup penyampaian materi, studi kasus, praktik langsung, dan presentasi hasil kerja kelompok. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi partisipatif, kuesioner umpan balik, serta wawancara guru pendamping. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta secara signifikan di semua aspek: skor rata-rata pemahaman BPM meningkat dari 56,2 menjadi 78,5; desain web dari 48,6 menjadi 80,1; dan analisis sistem dari 51,3 menjadi 75,0. Selain itu, lebih dari 85% peserta menyatakan pelatihan sangat relevan dengan minat dan kebutuhan mereka untuk mempersiapkan karir berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif tidak hanya pada penguatan literasi digital siswa, tetapi juga mendukung integrasi pembelajaran praktis di sekolah mitra. Luaran kegiatan berupa artikel ilmiah ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam mengembangkan model pelatihan teknologi terapan yang kontekstual, replikatif, dan sesuai kebutuhan lokal. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini turut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesiapan siswa menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja dan mendorong semangat technopreneurship sejak dini.

Abstract

Mobile Health (mHealth) applications are increasingly used to support intermittent fasting, fitness training, and nutrition tracking. However, existing solutions remain fragmented, focusing on isolated domains without addressing users’ holistic health needs. This study aimed to explore user needs and preferences for an integrated mobile health application that combines fasting, training, and muscle development, emphasizing feature importance, usability expectations, and privacy concerns. A mixed-methods approach was used: a survey (n = 50) captured demographic profiles, feature prioritization, and usability expectations, while interviews (n = 10) explored user experiences and challenges. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative interview responses were grouped into key themes through manual coding and interpretation. Results from both approaches were triangulated to strengthen the validity and reliability of findings. Users prioritized workout progression tracking (M = 4.94, SD = 0.18, 95% CI [4.89, 4.99]) and protein/macro monitoring (M = 4.20, SD = 0.42) over fasting timers (M = 2.92/5) or motivational features (M = 2.88). Usability expectations were high (Ease of Use = 6.06/7; System Capability Fit = 6.36/7), and privacy was a non-negotiable factor (M = 5.00/5). Themes revealed frustrations with incomplete exercise libraries, fragmented features, and lack of personalization. The study highlights the need for integrated, user-centered mHealth applications that unify fasting, training, and nutrition while embedding privacy-by-design principles. Future work will advance this study through prototype development and usability testing using SUS and UMUX-Lite metrics.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently very rapid and unavoidable, especially in the world of education. Global demands require the education sector to constantly adjust technological developments with efforts to improve the quality of education, adjust the use of information and communication technology. STMIK Rosma is a university that utilizes computer technology. However, there are still shortcomings, namely the absence of a student complaint application so that the process of submitting student complaints is still running manually. This results in not recording student complaints, student complaint data not well documented, so that the college leadership of the campus cannot monitor the complaints submitted by students. This study aims to analyze the functional requirements of the STMIK Rosma student complaint application. The method used in this research is Design Thinking. The result of this research is the UI / UX design of the student complaint handling application (mobile application) at STMIK Rosma Karawang which is designed using the classic mockuplus tools. This research is expected to provide suggestions to universities to improve the process of handling student complaints.
