Abstract

Pembelajaran yang lebih ditekankan pada prosedur dan hasil dalam penyelesaian masalah tidak akan mengaktifkan strukur kognitif (berpikir) siswa dan tidak meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis. Siswa hanya akan meniru prosedur yang dilakukan guru. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV sekolah dasar pada materi pembagian bilangan bulat. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan struktur kognitif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian menggunakan metode kombinasi (kualitatif-kuantitatif) dengan desain concurrent embedded. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara trianggulasi yaitu observasi partisipan, wawancara yang mendalam, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur kognitif Siswa A memiliki struktur kognitif komparatif dan siswa B memiliki struktur kognitif penalaran logis. Siswa menggunakan struktur kognitif untuk memproses informasi dan menciptakan makna dengan cara (1) membuat koneksi, (2) menemukan pola, (3) mengidentifikasi aturan, dan (4) mengabstraksikan prinsip-prinsip. Kata kunci: struktur kognitif, berpikir matematis, bilangan bulat. ABSTRACT Learning that is more emphasized on procedures and results in solving problems will not activate the cognitive structure (thinking) of students and does not improve the ability to mathematical thinking. Students will only imitate the procedures performed by the teacher. This research is a case study of mathematics learning in the fourth grade of elementary school in integer division material. The research objective is to describe the cognitive structure of students in solving problems. The study uses a combination method (qualitative - quantitative) with concurrent embedded design. The data collection technique is done in triangulation, namely participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the cognitive structure of class IV students reached the level of comparative cognitive structure (group A) and cognitive structure of logical reasoning (group B). Students use cognitive structures to process information and create meaning by (1) making connections, (2) finding patterns, (3) identifying rules, and (4) abstracting principles Keywords: cognitive structure, mathematical thinking, integers.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis dan sikap kerjasama membuat proses belajar kurang maksimal. Penelitian berfokus pada penerapan model scramble terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis dan sikap kerjasama pada materi bangun datar. Penelitian kuantitatif ini mengunakan metode Pre Experimental Design dengan bentuk One - Group Pretest – Posttest. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Kerangkulon 02 dengan jumlah 28 siswa dan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji coba instrumen, uji data awal dan uji data akhir. Adapun uji coba instrumen meliputi tes dan angket, sedangkan uji data awal menggunakan uji normalitas data, dan yang terakhir uji data akhir menggunakan uji normalitas data, uji hipotesis I, dan uji hipotesis II. Untuk kemampuan pembuktian matematis, berdasarkan data diperoleh thitung = 9,368 dan diperoleh ttabel = t(α)(dk=n-1)=t(0,05)(29-1) = 2,051. Dari hasil tersebut maka diperoleh thitung >- ttabel, sehingga hipotesis Ho diterima, artinya rata – rata nilai kemampuan pembuktian matematis lebih dari 70. Kemampuan pembuktian matematis melalui model scramble dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat memenuhi ketuntasan KKM. Sedangkan untuk sikap kerjasama, berdasarkan data diperoleh thitung = 11,01 dan diperoleh ttabel = t(α)(dk=n-1)=t(0,05)(29-1) = 2,051. Dari hasil tersebut maka diperoleh thitung >- ttabel, sehingga hipotesis Ho diterima, artinya rata – rata nilai kemampuan pembuktian matematis lebih dari 70. Sikap kerjasama melalui model scramble dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat memenuhi ketuntasan KKM.

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia is caused by the weak literacy of students, which is further exacerbated by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to explore the strategies applied by teachers in building a literacy culture with a culturally responsive teaching approach at SDN Sayung 1 and identify the challenges faced in improving students' reading skills. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that strategies such as reading habituation Asmaul Husna, reading 15 minutes before learning, and the Duta Baca award program have proven to be effective in increasing students' interest and literacy skills. In addition, the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach also plays a role in linking learning with students' cultural backgrounds, thereby increasing their involvement in literacy activities. Although the challenges found include limited access to diverse reading materials and differences in students' literacy environment at home. Thus, continuous support from schools, teachers, and parents is needed to enrich literacy resources and create a more conducive environment for the development of students' reading skills. With the implementation of the right strategy and good collaboration, a strong literacy culture can be formed and contribute to improving the quality of education in primary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to find out Improving students' digital literacy skills Through making advertisements in the Canva application, participants can express their creative and innovative ideas in designing products, one of which is advertising which can later be used as a forum for information for a wide audience such as school residents of SDN Karangroto 02 Semarang which will later be published through social media and students from participating in activities This can increase digital literacy and with coordination with schools through this can improve the ability to design not only in the form of posters but also design attractive images that will later have marketability in the community. So that students not only improve digital literacy skills but also improve financial literacy skillsDigital literacy in this era is no longer limited to the ability to operate software or understand technical terminology, but includes the ability to recognize, evaluate, and apply information wisely in various contexts.

Abstract

The relatively low achievement of students in the IPAS subject remains an issue that needs to be addressed through the implementation of effective teaching approaches. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of differentiated instruction based on learning styles in improving the academic performance of third-grade students at SDN Karangroto 02. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Two classes participated in the study: the experimental group, which received differentiated instruction, and the control group, which was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that the experimental class demonstrated a more substantial improvement in learning outcomes compared to the control class. The N-Gain score for the experimental group was 0.32, categorized as moderate, while the control group only achieved a score of 0.12, which falls under the low category. Furthermore, t-test results revealed a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that differentiated instruction is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the flipbook-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning to read and comprehend story texts in grade V students of SDN Karangroto 02 Semarang. The method used is quantitative research with a pseudo-experimental design. The results of the study showed that the application of the flipbook-assisted PBL model can improve students' reading comprehension of story texts. Students showed a significant improvement in reading comprehension ability after using this model. Therefore, the flipbook-assisted PBL model can be used as an effective learning alternative in improving the understanding of story texts in elementary school students. The application of the flipbook-assisted problem-based learning model in learning to read and comprehend story texts. This is evidenced by the student score of reaching the KKTP as many as 31 complete students with an average score of student learning outcomes. The research data showed that the score of the application of the flipbook-assisted problem-based learning model in learning to read and comprehend the story text. before receiving treatment, namely with an average score of 77, consisting of 15% completed and 85% incomplete. And student learning outcomes after receiving treatment using the application of the flipbook-assisted problem-based learning model in learning to read and comprehend story texts with an average of 88 consisting of a percentage of students who completed 100%, and students who did not complete 0%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Pancasila values in developing students’ hard and soft skills at SDN Jetaksari 01 Sayung Demak in response to the challenges of 21st-century education. The 21st century demands that students possess critical thinking skills, digital literacy, collaboration abilities, and strong character to adapt to a rapidly changing world. Pancasila, as Indonesia’s national ideology and foundational philosophy, holds great potential as a basis for shaping students’ character and competencies. This research employs a literature review method based on the perspectives of Ali (2010) and Zed (2004), using a descriptive-qualitative approach to analyze relevant literature and document best practices from the school. The findings reveal that hard skills are strengthened through contextual and technology-based learning infused with Pancasila values, while soft skills are cultivated through daily routines, teacher role modeling, and extracurricular activities that promote values such as cooperation, responsibility, and empathy. Thus, integrating Pancasila values not only enhances students’ character but also supports the holistic development of 21st-century competencies. The study implies the importance of value-based education in primary schools to produce academically competent and morally grounded future generations. Recommendations are made for educators and policymakers to consistently incorporate Pancasila values as an integral part of both the curriculum and school culture.

Abstract

Civic Education in elementary schools plays a crucial role in shaping students' character and understanding of national values. However, the application of digital media in Civic Education learning remains limited compared to other subjects. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of digital-based learning tools, specifically Augmented Reality, in enhancing students' understanding and engagement, while also providing recommendations for curriculum development and teacher training. The study employs a quantitative approach with an experimental design, comparing the learning outcomes of students using Augmented Reality media to those using conventional media. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and observations, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings reveal that Augmented Reality significantly boosts students' motivation and comprehension, making learning more interactive and engaging, and aiding in the understanding of complex concepts through visualization. The research concludes that integrating digital media, particularly Augmented Reality, into Civic Education holds substantial potential to elevate educational quality in elementary schools. However, successful implementation hinges on teacher preparedness and adequate technological infrastructure, underscoring the importance of training and technical support for sustaining this innovation.
