Abstract

The community service activity is intended to improve the ability of high school science teachers in Magetan districts to compile scientific papers. The number of teachers involved in this activity was 25 people consisting of chemistry, physics and biology teachers. The activity was conducted at SMAN 1 Magetan, on Saturday, July 27, 2019. The approach used in the community service activity was a participatory approach, while the method applied in mentoring was the adult learning method (andragogy). The community service activity was begun with the presentation of training materials by the team, followed by mentoring to make scientific papers, and end with reflection and questionnaires. The results of the activity showed that the trainees had the knowledge and skills in developing scientific papers. The trainees showed a positive response to the training activities carried out by the PKM Team. The ability of trainees in compiling scientific papers were quite good with an average score 3.1 (scale 4).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komparasi sosial dengan citra tubuh pada perempuan dewasa awal. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non eksperimen. Metode penelitian kuantitatif non eksperimen bertujuan untuk meneliti korelasi antar variabel. Teknik sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan populasi 120 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan skala yang terdiri atas skala komparasi sosial dan citra tubuh. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji korelasi poduct moment dengan bantuan dari SPSS 26.0 for windows. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara komparasi sosial dengan citra tubuh. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05) dengan skor koefisien korelasi sebanyak 0.381. Berdasarkan analisa dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan positif antara komparasi sosial dengan citra tubuh pada perempuan dewasa awal. Hal ini menunjukkan jika semakin tinggi komparasi sosial yang dilakukan oleh perempuan, maka semakin tinggi citra tubuh. Hal ini juga berlaku sebaliknya, apabila komparasi sosial yang dilakukan rendah, maka semakin tinggi citra tubuh.

Abstract

Telah ditemukan fakta bahwa guru-guru di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) belum terlatih dalam mengembangkan LKPD berbasis proyek dan belum mendapatkan pelatihan pengembangan LKPD berbasis proyek. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu program yang diwajibkan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Oleh karena itu dirasa sangat penting untuk melakukan pelatihan pengembangan LKPD berbasis proyek untuk guru-guru di SIKL. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk melatih guru-guru dan relawan dibawah naungan SIKL dalam pengembangan LKPD berbasis proyek dan menerapkan LKPD tersebut dalam pembelajaran di SIKL serta mengetahui respon peserta terhadap kegiatan PKM. Kegiatan dilakukan mulai dari koordinasi awal dengan pihak SIKL, persiapan, pelatihan dan monitoring evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru SIKL telah memahami tentang pembuatan LKPD dan melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Hasil respon peserta menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta menyatakan setuju dengan kegiatan pelatihan ini dan mengharapkan kegiatan yang sama di lain waktu. Selanjutnya diharapkan guru-guru di SIKL terus melanjutkan pengembangan dan pengimplementasian pembelajaran berbasis proyek sebagai bentuk pengembangan kreatifitas siswa Indonesia yang ada di Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an E-LKPD based on a problem-solving model to train students’ metacognitive skills in the topic of buffer solutions. The metacognitive skills targeted for development are planning, monitoring, and evaluating. The developed E-LKPD was assessed as feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study adopted the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but its application was limited to the development stage. The research results indicate the following: (1) The validity results obtained a mode of 4, classified as valid; (2) The average percentage of student responses and activities in sessions 1 and 2 were 95% and 97.75%, respectively, and the activity rates for sessions 1 and 2 were 97.75% and 98.33%, respectively, and were classified as very good; (3) The average N-gain score on the metacognitive skills test was 0.74, classified as high. Furthermore, the results of the paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.000; therefore, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. From the results described above, it can be concluded that the developed E-LKPD is valid in training students’ metacognitive skills

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the viability of using problem solving worksheets to teach students how to think critically about acid-base material. In assessing the viability of the student worksheets that have been developed, there are three factors that are taken into consideration, namely validity, practicality, and efficacy. In this study, 22 students from class XI MIPA 13 SMAN 1 Sidoarjo participated in a limited trial stage of the Research and Development (R&D) technique from Borg and Gall. The findings of this research indicate that validity, which comprises construct and content validity, each received a mode value of four using appropriate standards. Based on student reaction surveys, practicality reached 92.80% with extremely practical standards, and relevant student activities in the first and second meetings respectively obtained a percentage of 95 55% and 96.12%. The N-gain test yielded medium and high criteria for efficacy. The research's findings indicate that problem solving focused student worksheets are a workable way to support students in strengthening their capacity for critical thought when studying acid-base content.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century must be in harmony with technological developments where students are expected to be able to master useful skills to be responsive to changes and developments over time and to have in-depth knowledge and understanding to become lifelong learners. Based on these problems, the researcher aims to produce e-learning based PBL-STEM learning tools that are valid, practical and effective. This research procedure follows the Borg and Gall research and development method. Where the research method is pre-experimental, researchers use the One Group Pretest - Posttest Design approach. The results of this research are: the teaching tools were declared valid in terms of validation results of 95%, the practicality of the teaching tools seen from the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 95% and the student activity observation sheet as supporting data obtained a value of 98%, and the effectiveness of interactive e-modules can be seen from the average N-Gain value of the science process skills test obtained an average N-Gain value of 0.73 and in the critical thinking ability test obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.70 so it can be concluded that the teaching tools developed are suitable use in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework to enhance students’ creative thinking skills in the topic of reaction rates. The designed LKPD is intended to provide a challenging and meaningful learning experience, fostering students’ critical and creative problem-solving abilities in the context of reaction rate concepts. The PBL approach facilitates active student engagement, while the TPACK framework ensures the integration of technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge in the learning process. The research employed the 4D development model, focusing on the Define, Design, and Develop (expert validation) stages. Data for the Define stage were collected from a Chemistry teacher and Grade XI students at SMA Ta’miriyah Surabaya to conduct a needs analysis. Descriptive qualitative analysis was applied to examine the needs analysis outcomes and the LKPD design blueprint. The results indicate that the developed LKPD possesses a clear structure and is highly relevant for fostering students’ creative thinking skills. Expert validators classified the LKPD as “Highly Valid.” In conclusion, the developed LKPD is feasible as a contextual learning resource and has strong potential to enhance students’ creative thinking skills in integrated science learning.Keywords: student worksheet, problem based learning, TPACK, creative thinking

Abstract

The aims of this study are to train students' critical thinking abilities on buffer solution material by creating an E-Worksheet focused on problem-solving using the Canva tool. The method used was the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model up to the limited pilot test stage with students in grade XI at SMAN 22 Surabaya in the 2025/2026 academic year as subjects. According to the study's findings, the E-Worksheet has a mode of ≥4 and is valid in terms of both content and construct validity. The practicality of the E-Worksheet is demonstrated through student responses of 98.15% and observations of relevant activities ranging from 91.54% to 94.89%. Effectiveness was demonstrated through the N-gain test, in which 61.11% of students met the high criteria and 38.89% met the moderate criteria. The problem-solving-oriented E-Worksheet proven to be valid, practical, and effective in training students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The challenges of 21st century skills are in line with the objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum, one of which is to grow the ability to analyse various scientific issues and evaluate various phenomena in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to produce contextual teaching and learning-oriented student worksheets that can improve science literacy skills on chemical equilibrium material. The method used in this research refers to the Borg and Gall development model, but is limited to the product trial stage. This research design uses One Group Pretest Post-test. The feasibility of the student worksheet related to the validity aspect is measured based on the results of the assessment of 3 validators, the practicality aspect is reviewed from the results of the response questionnaire and observation of student activities, while the effectiveness aspect is seen from the N-gain value of the pretest - post-test of science literacy. The results of this study showed that the content validity was 87.88% and construct validity was 90.79% with a very valid category, the practicality value was 96.1% positive response and 94.43% based on student activity, and the average N-gain was 0.8853 in the high category. In conclusion, the contextual teaching and learning oriented student worksheet is valid, practical, and effective to improve students' science literacy on chemical equilibrium material.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan abad 21 menuntut individu untuk menjadi sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, diantaranya mampu mengelola, menggunakan, dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi kesetimbangan kimia melalui model pembelajaran Remap NHT ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan subyek penelitian peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 MAN 2 Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan metode pengamatan dengan instrumen berupa lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas peserta didik, serta metode tes dengan instrumen lembar tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) model pembelajaran Remap NHT terlaksana sangat baik selama 2 pertemuan dengan rata-rata persentase keterlaksanaan fase 1 sampai 6 berturut-turut sebesar 98,44 %, 100 %, 100 %, 96,02 %, 100 %, 99,11 % dan peserta didik terlibat aktif selama kegiatan belajar-mengajar, serta 2) keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat ditinjau dari rentang n-gain 0,75-1 dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Remap NHT dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Remap NHT efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.
