Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out whether the application of the Gallery Walk learning model to the Respiratory System material could improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPA 3 UPT SMA Negeri 7 Wajo. While the results of the study showed that the results of the first cycle test in table 1. 22 students had completeness with a proportion of 62.90% while those who were still under the minimum completeness criteria were 13 students with a proportion of 37.1%. Students who complete the first cycle are in the 62.90% category while the results of the second cycle test are in table 2. It can be seen that as many as 30 students with a proportion of 85.70% experienced completeness, while the other 5 students with a proportion of 14.30% individually still below the minimum completeness criteria value. Students who complete learning in cycle II are in the high category with a proportion of 85.7. Thus the results of the second cycle test have been successful and in table 3. it can be seen the completeness of student learning in cycles I and II. Based on the results of the research that has been described, it can be concluded that the application of the Gallery Walk learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPA 3 UPT SMAN 7 Wajo in Biology subject.

Abstract

This research is a case study research using qualitative descriptive research methods. The purpose of this study is to describe the phenomenon of the Bat population in Watansoppeng City and describe the benefits of research results from the Bat population phenomenon in Watansoppeng City to be used as a source for learning Ecosystem Biology. This research was conducted at the Environmental Service of Soppeng Regency and in Botto Village, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. The informants of this research were 7 people, namely the Head of the Soppeng Regency Environmental Service, the Secretary of the Soppeng Regency Environmental Service and 5 people from the community. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation by using two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from interviews and direct observations at the research site, while secondary data comes from literature review. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. Test the validity of the data used is triangulation. The results obtained are the phenomenon of the Bat population in Soppeng Regency which has existed for a long time due to several factors such as habitat suitability, adequate food sources, protected and preserved so that bats can live and be well preserved. Thus, the phenomenon of the Bat population as a characteristic of the city of Watansoppeng can be used as a source of learning ecosystem material biology.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pemberdayaan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) IPA Kabupaten Wajo dengan memanfaatkan Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah kebutuhan guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dan pedagogis dalam menghadapi dinamika kurikulum baru yang berorientasi pada pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, profil pelajar Pancasila, serta teknologi digital. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan intensif, pendampingan praktik, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 30 guru anggota MGMP IPA dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis kebutuhan nyata guru berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka serta keterampilan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur pada Platform Merdeka Mengajar, seperti perencanaan pembelajaran, asesmen diagnostik, dan referensi pembelajaran. Selain itu, implementasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek berhasil diaplikasikan di beberapa sekolah mitra, dengan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, program ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam membekali guru dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang relevan untuk menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat peran MGMP sebagai wadah kolaborasi guru dalam mengembangkan praktik pembelajaran inovatif. Hasil ini penting untuk direplikasi dan dikembangkan guna mendukung transformasi pendidikan yang lebih luas di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the applicability, efficacy, and validity of Macca Biology Learning Media, which is based on Andromo Android Software, for environmental pollution content in Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Sengkang. The research methodology employed is research and development, also known as define, design, and development (3D model research and development). This study involved 32 students in class VII and was conducted during the even semester of the 2022–2023 academic year, which began in February–March 2023. The teacher and student practicality questionnaire, student learning outcomes, and validator results provided the research data. A % quantitative descriptive method was used to process the study's results. Macca Biology Learning Media received 90.5% from the media and material validators, 91.6% from the teacher's practical responses and 90.5% from the students' practical responses, and 96.8% of the students received a perfect score from the learning outcomes, according to the study's findings. The study's findings indicate that the Macca Biology Learning Media, which utilizes the Andromo Android platform, is a reliable, useful, and efficient resource for biology education.
