Abstract

Penghambat dalam peningkatan produksi susu salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh manajemen pemeliharaan yang kurang baik terutama pada manajemen kesehatan. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya produksi dan kualitas susu sapi perah dari aspek kesehatan adalah adanya penyakit mastitis. Mastitis merupakan peradangan jaringan internal pada kelenjar ambing akibat infiltrasi mikroba dalam puting atau adanya luka yang dapat menimbulkan infeksi akut, sub akut dan kronis. Mastitis subklinis hanya dapat dideteksi melalui pemeriksaan mikrobiologi dan penghitungan jumlah sel somatik terhadap contoh susu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rataan produksi susu puting depan 7,23 ± 4,59 kg/ekor/hari, produksi susu putting belakang 11,05 ± 8,42 kg/ekor/hari. Hal ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa produksi susu putting depan dan belakang pada 36 sapi PFH tersebut memiliki perbedaan yang sangat nyata terhadap kuantitas produksi susu. Rataan skor mastitis puting depan 0,33 ± 0,68, skor mastitis puting belakang 0,94 ± 1,04. Hal ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa skor mastitis puting depan dan belakang pada 36 ekor sapi perah PFH tersebut memiliki perbedaat sangat nyata terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya mastitis.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the dairy farming in Dairy Cattle Cooperation Setia Kawan Wonosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regancy. The objective of this research was to analyze the correlation between colostrum age and lactation period with colostrum production on Friesian Holstein. The material used is 30 Friesian Holstein which are lactation, both the first lactation period to the third lactation period. The method used was the case study method and the data was collected data by direct observation of dairy cows. Data analyzed using regression analysis and correlation. The results show that the correlation between colostrum age and colostrum production has a regression the equation is Y = 9.8+0.75X, where r = 0.516 and R2 = 0.266 and the lactation period with colostrum production has a regression equation that is Y = 11.35+0.16X with r = 0.086 and R2 = 0.007. The average highest colostrum production in dairy cows was on the fourth day (12.61 ± 1.29 liters/head/day) and the highest colostrum production was in the third lactation (11.80 ± 1.68 liters/head/day). Based on these results it can be concluded that colostrum ages with colostrum production has a moderate positive correlation, while the lactation period with colostrum production has a very low positive correlation. Keywords : Lactation period, colostrum production, pregnant cow, friesian Holstein

Abstract

Colostrum is the secretion of the udder glands after the cow gives birth and is given to the calf for 3-5 days. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the lactation period and colostrum age on the colostrum protein content of FH dairy cows. This research was conducted at KPSP Setia Kawan, Pasuruan. The research was conducted in August-November 2022. The research materials were FH dairy cows with lactation periods 1,2,3, and cow colostrum which were analyzed with the Lactoscan Milk Analyzer. The research method uses case study method and purposive sampling. Research using simple linear regression analysis and correlation. The results of the regression equation study the relationship between the lactation period and colostrum protein content, namely Y =5.22+0.46X with a correlation value (r)=0.158 and a coefficient of determination (R2)=0.025. The results of the regression equation for the relationship between colostrum age and colosrum protein content are Y=10.79-1.55X with a correlation value (r)=0.88 and a coefficient of determination (R2)=0.77. The conclusion of the study is that there is a positive relationship between the lactation period and colostrum protein and there is a negative relationship between colostrum age and colostrum protein. Keywords : FH dairy cattle, colostrum, lactation period, colostrum protein.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Galur kambing Senduro ditetapkan melalui Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Nomor 1055/Kpts/SR.120/10/2014. Kambing Senduro sebagai kekayaan sumber daya genetik ternak lokal Indonesia memiliki fenotip yang dapat diukur berdasarkan sifat kuantitatifnya. Penelitian pertama bertujuan untuk mengkaji fenotip kambing Senduro betina berdasarkan pada tinggi pundak, panjang badan, lingkar dada, bobot badan, dan panjang telinga. Penelitian kedua bertujuan menghubungkan sifat kuantitatif dengan umur ternak. Penelitian pertama menggunakan metode observasi, sedangkan penelitian kedua menggunakan metode korelasi. Data penelitian ditabulasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2010 dan SPSS 26.0. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 102 ekor kambing Senduro betina. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kambing Senduro betina memiliki tinggi pundak 70-80 cm (55,88%), panjang badan 70-80 cm (53,92%), lingkar dada 80-90 cm (59,80%), bobot badan 50-60 kg (32,35%), dan panjang telinga 30-40 cm (69,61%). Panjang badan, lingkar dada, dan bobot badan memiliki korelasi positif yang sangat kuat dengan umur ternak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa perlu adanya upaya pembaharuan data dan informasi terkait fenotip kambing Senduro yang berkaitan dengan sifat kuantitatif ternak yang mengacu pada Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Nomor 1055/Kpts/SR.120/10/2014.(Phenotype study of Senduro goats as wealth of Indonesian local livestock genetic resources)ABSTRAK. The Senduro goat breed was determined through the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1055/Kpts/SR.120/10/2014. The Senduro goat as a wealth of genetic resources for local Indonesian livestock has a phenotype that can be measured based on its quantitative characteristics. The first study aimed to examine the phenotype of female Senduro goats based on shoulder height, body length, chest circumference, body weight, and ear length. The second study aimed to evaluate quantitative characteristics with the age of Senduro goat. The first research uses the observation method, while the second research uses the correlation method. Observations were made on 102 female Senduro goats. The results showed that female Senduro goats had a shoulder height of 70-80 cm (55.88%), body length 70-80 cm (53.92%), chest circumference 80-90 cm (59.80%), body weight 50 -60 kg (32.35%), and ear length 30-40 cm (69.61%). Body length, chest circumference, and body weight have a very strong positive correlation with the age of Senduro goat. This study recommends that efforts to update data and information related to the phenotype of the Senduro goat related to the quantitative characteristics of Senduro goat are needed which refers to the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1055/Kpts/SR.120/10/2014.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui kadar lemak kolostrum sapi FH pada umur kolostrum yang berbeda yang dipelihara secara intensif di Peternakan Rakyat Koperasi Peternakan Sapi Perah (KPSP) yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Tutur, Nongkojajar, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Provinsi Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Materi yang digunakana dalam penelitian ini adalah kolostrum dari induk 37 sapi perah FH yang laktasi, sampel yang diambil meliputi hari pemerahan ke 1, ke 2, ke 3 dan ke 4 dengan waktu pemerahan pagi dan sore. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kadar lemak kolostrum sapi perah FH pada periode laktasi 1,2,3 dan 4 hasil pemerahan pagi berkisar antara 6,49 - 8,56%, sedangkan rataan kadar lemak hasil pemerahann sore berkisar antara 6,43 – 9,35%. Hubungan antara hari pemerahan dengan kadar lemak kolostrum pagi sapi perah dari persamaan regresi Y= 9,217 + (-0,719)X dan persamaan regresi Y= 10,287 + (-0,822)X pada sore hari yang artinya setiap peningkatan 1 hari pemerahan, maka nilai kadar lemak menurun sebesar 0,719 pada pagi hari dan nilai kadar lemak menurun sebesar 0,822 pada sore hari. Sedangkan nilai koefisien relasi (r) pagi diperoleh 0,267 dan nilai koefisien relasi (r) sore diperoleh 0.325, menunjukan adanya hubungan positif yang rendah antara hari pemerahan dengan kadar lemak kolostrum pada pagi dan sore hari. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) pada pagi hari sebesar 7,1% dan 10,6% pada sore hari, artinya hari pemerahan berpengaruh hanya 7,1% (pagi) dan 10,6% (sore) terhadap kadar lemak kolostrum serta 92,9% (pagi) dan 89,4 % (sore) ditentukan oleh faktor lain.
