Abstract

To produce goods in industry, a controlled tool to improve production is required. Separation process has become a part of production process. Separation process is carried out based on certain criteria to get optimum result. By knowing the characteristics performance of a controlled tools in separation process the optimum results is also possible to be obtained. Clustering analysis is popular method for clustering data into smaller segments. Clustering analysis is useful to divide a group of object into a k-group in which the member value of the group is homogeny or similar. Similarity in the group is set based on certain criteria. The work in this paper based on K-Means method to conduct clustering of loading in the performance of a conveyor driven by a dc motor 12 volt eg-530-2f. This technique gives a complete clustering data for a prototype of conveyor driven by dc motor to separate goods in term of height. The parameters involved are voltage, current, time of travelling. These parameters give two clusters namely optimal cluster  with center of cluster  10.50  volt,  0.3  Ampere,  10.58  second,  and unoptimal cluster with center of cluster 10.88 volt, 0.28 Ampere and 40.43 second.

Abstract

Robotics vision is applying technology on the camera to view the environmental conditions as well as the function of the human eye. Colour object tracking system is one application of robotics vision technology with the ability to follow the object being detected. Several methods have been used to generate a good response position control, but most are still using conventional control approach. Fuzzy logic which includes several step of which is to determine  the  value  of  crisp  input  must  be  fuzzification.  The  output  of  fuzzification  is forwarded to the process of inference in which there are some fuzzy logic rules. The inference output forwarded to the process of defuzzification to be transformed into outputs (crisp output) to drive the servo motors on the X-axis and Y-axis. Fuzzy logic control is applied to the color- based object tracking system, the system is successful to follow a moving object with average speed of 7.35 cm/s in environments with 117 lux light intensity.

Abstract

This paper studies the design of business system model with System Modeling Approach on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of furniture. Methods used consists of five phases: phase of identification of business processes actual on SMEs of Furniture, phase of identification of deficiencies and improvement of business processes, phase of design algorithm and flowchart business processes, phase of analysis of the elements of the system, and phase of the design of data flow diagram (DFD), The results of the analysis of the elements of the system are: Products and quantities ordered product consumers and DP paid by consumers identified as elements of system inputs 1,2 and 3. The result of the calculation, payment slips and mail order (SO) are identified as elements of system output 1, 2 and 3. Acceptance of orders, stocks checking of raw materials at the warehouse, calculating raw material requirements, adequacy of raw materials, the price of the contract, and the due date, as well as the submission of the results of calculations to consumers were identified as elements of system components 1, 2, 3, and 4. Admin taking orders, Admin check stocks of raw materials at the warehouse, Admin making calculation, and Admin convey the results of calculations to consumers were identified as an element of interaction system 1, 2, 3, and 4. Consumers were identified as element of environmental systems. Moreover, the boundary between SMEs and consumers were identified as elements of the system boundary.

Abstract

There are some criteria on how an article is categorized as a good article for publications. It could depend on some aspect like formatting and clarity, but mainly it depends on how the content of the article is constructed. The consistency of the topic that the article was written could show us how the authors construct the main idea in the article content. One indication that shows this consistency is congruity in the article’s topic and the topic of literature or reference cited in the document listed in the bibliography. This works attempting to automate the topic detection on the article’s references then obtain the congruity to the article title’s topic through metadata extraction and text classification. This is done by extracting metadata of an article file to obtain all possible reference title using GROBID than classify the topic using a supervised classification model. We found that some refinements in the whole approach should be considered in the next step of this work.

Abstract

This study focuses on searching for teaching materials in order to obtain relevant teaching material information appropriately for further use as material for recommendation of course material to students using the Cosine Similarity method and calculating weighting using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. With the SAW method, 3 criteria and weight values are determined for each attribute, followed by a ranking process. So that in the end the search results that are ranked in the order of similarity and most relevant can be displayed and then selected and used as recommendations in the student's e-learning learning system. From the results of the study, the Cosine Similarity and SAW methods have provided a fairly good/effective recommendation with an average precision of 0.7867 and a recall of 0.766 so that this method is appropriate to be placed in campus e-Learning

Abstract

Indicators of good software development achievements are measured measurements on all aspects of software development, including the environment and systems of software. In this paper, indicators of the complexity of web-based software developed by the waterfall method with XML language-based entity database relations. This inventory information system functions as an integrated system with other systems in an integrated information system scope. Function point analysis (FPA) is used as a measuring device that can assess the complexity of components and functions of the software developed. The measurement results show that the overall value of the FPA is 180.83, which indicates that the application of inventory information systems is easy to use with low complexity. While the results of CFP and RCAF calculations also show that this application is quite simple so it is easy to use by various groups.

Abstract

The validation and accuracy of internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) performance using jumbo frames is still not perfect, due to peer-to-peer connections testing within the same operating system and between operating systems. Therefore, inaccurate data test results. To mitigated, testing with a wider platform is recommended, a medium-scale network connection is proposed such as metropolitan area networks. In this works, a connection between computer devices connected by three proxy routers are made, with different IPv6 segments on each port. Then each computer device sends traffic data to each other using a traffic-generator application. The first test through three routers without tunnel connection is carried out as the first scenario to compare performance with tunnel-based testing. Three parameters have been used in this test, such as maximum transfer unit (MTU) 1500 bytes, MTU 400 bytes and MTU 9000 bytes. The results of the tests conducted show that the use of jumbo frames using a proxy is less effective, even though it produces a larger throughput when using the MTU 4000, but there is fragmentation in the packet passing through the proxy because the packet passing through the proxy is split into 1500 byte sizes.

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi untuk bisa saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Dengan bahasa manusia dapat membuat sebuah karya, salah satunya dalam bentuk tulisan. Tulisan yang dibuat berupa penelitian yang dimuat dalam bahasa publikasi. Bahasa publikasi dibedakan menjadi dua macam diantaranya adalah bahasa publikasi nasional dan internasional. Publikasi nasional yaitu publikasi yang dibuat oleh penulis berdasarkan asal negara pembuat. Publikasi internasional adalah publikasi yang dibuat penulis dengan menggunakan bahasa yang banyak diakui oleh banyak negara. Dan ditulis dengan menggunakan bahasa resmi perserikatan bangsa-bangsa yaitu Arab, Inggris, Perancis, Rusia, Spanyol, dan Tiongkok. Oleh karena itu pentingnya sebuah dokumen untuk mengklasifikasikan kedalam bahasa publikasi nasional atau internasional.Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat membedakan bahasa. Salah satunya dengan membuat sebuah sistem Identifikasi bahasa publikasi jaringan syaraf tiruan berbasis unigram. sistem tersebut mampu membedakan bahasa penulisan. Bahasa penulisan akan di ekstract dengan menggunakan unigram, kemudian diterapkan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk mengambil sebuah keputusan. Jaringan syaraf tiruan merupakan salah satu metode kecerdasan buatan. Prosesnya terdiri dari preprocessing, training dan testing dan evaluasi hasil. Sehingga hasilnya, sistem akan mampu mengenali bahasa penulisan tersebut. Dokumen berbahasa indonesia akan mengahasilkan angka diatas sama dengan 0.5 dan dokumen berbahasa inggris menghasilkan angka dibawah 0.5. Hasil evaluasi precision bahasa indonesia 98.4% dan bahasa inggris 98%. Untuk recall bahasa indonesia 98% dan bahasa inggris 98.4%.

Abstract

Presensi memegang peranan penting sebagai penunjang pengambilan keputusan untuk menilai kedisiplinan dan keaktifan pegawai oleh manajer. Proses presensi dosen yang diterapkan saat ini pada lingkup Universitas Islam Sultan Agung masih menggunakan mesin presensi fingerprint dengan proses sinkronisasi manual. Sehingga perlu dibuat sistem presensi yang mampu me-monitoring presensi secara realtime. Untuk memudahkan kegiatan presensi maka sistem yang dibuat adalah aplikasi mobile dengan memanfaatkan teknologi GPS dan validasi presensi menggunakan id perangkat serta sensor biometric. Metode geolocation digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi terkini dari smartphone dengan memanfaatkan teknologi GPS dan kegiatan presensi dapat tercatat apabila pengguna berada dalam area lokasi yang sudah diatur didalam sistem, karena ketika pengguna berada diluar area tersebut tidak dapat melakukan kegiatan presensi. Pengujian akurasi geolocation dilakukan sebanyak 132 kali dengan rincian 11 area gedung dengan 4 titik yaitu didalam gedung, pinggir dalam gedung, pinggir luar gedung, dan diluar gedung sebanyak 3 kali percobaan pada setiap titik. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil yang sesuai yaitu menampilkan nama gedung tersebut dengan tingkat akurasi 90,9 %, dan di pinggir dalam gedung memperoleh tingkat akurasi 78,7 %. ketika di luar gedung memperoleh hasil yang sesuai yaitu menampilkan nama “Unknown” dengan tingkat akurasi 100 % dan tidak dapat melakukan presensi karena lokasi diluar area. Pengujian di pinggir luar gedung memperoleh tingkat akurasi 66,7 %. Jadi kegiatan presensi supaya berjalan dengan lancar sebaiknya presensi dilakukan didalam gedung.
