Abstract

One model that aims to accelerate the learning process is the accelerated learning model. This learning model, with its unique principles, aims to achieve better learning outcomes in a shorter period of time. However, it turns out that the accelerated learning model does not work well. The education system in Indonesia allows for large class sizes, with about forty students per class. With the varying conditions of the students, the accelerated learning model will have different consequences, both positive and negative. Therefore, in order to understand the psychological impact of this model on students during the learning process, this research needs to be conducted. This study is a qualitative research that uses a critical analytical approach and aims to critique the accelerated learning model. The data used consists of open-ended questionnaires and relevant literature. This study focuses on the psychological implications of the accelerated learning model on students. Based on the research findings, it is known that the positive impact of the model is that students will feel motivated and confident in completing additional tasks. However, the negative impact is that it can lead academically high-achieving students to not appreciate their lower-performing peers and create jealousy among them. Abstrak Salah satu model yang bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses pembelajaran adalah model accelerated learning. Model pembelajaran ini dengan prinsip-prinsipnya yang unik bertujuan untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik dalam waktu yang lebih singkat. Ternyata model accelerated learning tidak berjalan dengan baik. Sistem pembelajaran di Indonesia memungkinkan rombongan belajar, atau jumlah siswa per kelas, sekitar empat puluh siswa. Dengan kondisi siswa yang bervariatif, model accelerated learning akan memiliki konsekuensi yang berbeda, baik positif maupun negatif. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui dampak psikologis model tersebut terhadap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, penelitian ini harus dilakukan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan analitis kritis dan bertujuan untuk mengkritik model accelerated learning. Data yang digunakan adalah angket terbuka dan literatur terkait. Penelitian ini berfokus pada implikasi psikologis model accelerated learning terhadap siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa dampak positif model tersebut adalah siswa akan merasa termotivasi dan percaya diri untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas tambahan. Namun, dampak negatifnya adalah membuat siswa yang kemampuan akademisnya tinggi tidak menghargai teman yang lebih rendah dan menimbulkan kecemburuan di antara mereka.

Abstract

The Quran is one of Allah's miracles revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, in which its authenticity is maintained until the end of time. One way to maintain the Quran’s purity is to memorize it. Recently, the interest in memorizing the Quran has been significantly high among children and adults, evidenced by the establishment of tahfiz (Quran memorizing) institutions by the government, society, and private educational institutions. The high interest in memorizing the Quran is a form of God's guidance to maintain the purity of His words. Parents have a significant role in determining their children’s interest in memorizing the Quran. This unique phenomenon occurred in Aceh Besar Regency, the provincial capital and the busiest city in Aceh province. While busy with their career and roles as household heads or homemakers, Aceh Besar parents have successfully made their children hafiz and hafizah (Quran memorizers). This condition is undoubtedly interesting to be studied. This qualitative research observed four hafiz families in Aceh Besar Regency. The data were collected via observation and interviews. The result indicates that Aceh Besar families used talaqqī,  tasmī’, tikrāri, and muraja'ah as tahfiz learning methods, while they used individual (ifrādi), tsawāb wa iqāb, and uswah, as the techniques. It is concluded that the effective tahfiz learning model applied in Aceh Besar families is the طريقة تكاملية  (integrated method).

Abstract

Active student learning with the principle that students must be actively involved in every learning process, one of which is the Learning Media in the form of the Mystery Wheel. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, utilization and advantages and disadvantages of using the Mystery Wheel media in learning Jurisprudence at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that planning Fikih lessons using the Mystery Wheel media at MIN 9 Banda Aceh is planned by including the Mystery Wheel media in the core part of the lesson plan. The use of the Mystery Wheel media in learning Jurisprudence at MIN 9 Banda Aceh the Mystery Wheel media is carried out by the teacher preparing lesson plans using the Mystery Wheel media, preparing the material to be taught using the Mystery Wheel media, preparing cards containing the material to be taught and the teacher attaches the material in the first layer on the Mystery Wheel. Then students take the card with the same content as shown by the needle and students express their opinions in front of the class. The advantages of the Mystery Wheel media can increase student enthusiasm in learning and also make learning not boring, so students can easily understand learning, while the drawback is that the Mystery Wheel media is still used manually so it cannot be used for digital classes.

Abstract

Salah satu aliran filsafat pendidikan yang berpaham pengetahuan dan kebenaran adalah idealisme. Paham ini menggunakan metode dialektik, syarat dengan pemikiran, perenungan dialog dan lain-lain. Paham idealisme ini dicetuskan oleh plato murid dari Socrates. Adapun jenis-jenis dan konsep idealisme adalah subyektif, idealisme obyektif, idealisme personal. Dalam hubungannya dengan pendidikan, idealisme memberikan sumbangan yang besar terhadap teori perkembangan pendidikan khususnya filsafat pendidikan, filsafat idealism yang diturunkan dari filsafat metafisik yang menekankan pertumbuhan rohani sehingga kaum idealis percaya bahwa anak merupakan bagian dari alam spiritual, yang memiliki alam spiritual sesuai dengan potensialitasnya. Guru yang menganut paham idealisme biasanya berkeyakinan bahwa spiritual merupakan suatu kenyataan karena mereka tidak melihat murid sebagai apa adanya. Karena tanpa adanya spiritual pola pengajaran aliaran idealisme tidak sepenuhnya berpusat dari anak atau materi pelajaran dan juga bukan dari masyarakat akan tetapi idealisme. Dan kurikulum yang digunakan dalam pendidikan yang beraliran idealisme harus lebih terfokus pada isi yang obyektif atau terbaik.

Abstract

Students at Dar Maryam Binti Ibrahim Aceh Besar Islamic Boarding School study a variety of subjects, including speaking Arabic. This subject aims to make students able to speak Arabic correctly and fluently. However, the reality is that female students face some problems in learning to speak. Among them is the lack of vocabulary mastered by female students. Some of them are unable to use the vocabulary in speaking, and some of them are afraid of making mistakes when speaking Arabic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the game "man ana?" with the book al-arabiyyah baina yadaik to develop students' ability to speak and their response to this application. The method used by researchers in this study is the pre-experimental design experimental method. The population in this study were all 242 students at the Dar Maryam Binti Ibrahim Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Besar, while the research sample was class II (B) students, totaling 32 students. The instruments that the researchers used in this research are pre-test post-test and questionnaire. The result of the research is that the application of the game "man ana?" with the book al-arabiyyah baina yadaik to develop students' ability to speak proved to be effective based on the T-test greater than the T-table (2,45 <12,21 > 1,69. While the response of students to this learning is positive with an average value of 96.42%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the professional competence of teachers of the Public Islamic Senior High School ((known as Madrasah Aliyah Negeri or MAN) in welcoming the industrial revolution 4.0 era in Aceh. This qualitative research involve three principals and 60 teachers from three schools in Aceh who were selected purposively. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive approach. The results showed that the professionalism of MAN teachers in Aceh in welcoming the industrial 4.0 era was good. It was indicated by teachers' skills in planning learning implementation plans, utilizing web-based media, using various teaching methods, using a student-centered approach, using cooperative learning models, and developing learning interactions. The professionalism of  MAN teachers in Aceh has implications for improving the quality of learning, indicated by an increase in learning motivation and an increase in student participation in learning. Teachers' strategy in developing teacher professionalism in welcoming the industrial 4.0 era was carried out by pursuing a master's degree and a teacher professional development training program.

Abstract

This study uses three-language thematic dictionaries (English, Arabic, and Indonesian) to examine how early childhood language development recognizes foreign vocabulary. Classroom Action Research is applied in this study and is conducted in three cycles, with two sessions per cycle. The study focuses on the child's ability to identify words in the themed dictionary. Fourteen kindergarten students become the subject of the study. Documentation and observation are used in the data-gathering process for this study. Thematic dictionaries are used in the learning process to introduce vocabulary while focusing on each theme through various learning strategies. The study's findings were 33% for cycle I presentations, 75% for cycle II, and 94% for cycle III. Thus, three-language thematic dictionaries (English, Arabic, and Indonesian) can help young children enhance their language skills..

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about menstruation at menarche can lead to unpreparedness, fear, anxiety, as well as physical problems such as dizziness, nausea, dysmenorrhea, and irregular periods. Therefore, proper health education is essential to help adolescent girls face menarche without fear or anxiety. This study aims to evaluate the effect of health education about menstruation on adolescents' knowledge in facing menarche at UPT SMP N 15 Medan in 2024. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design, conducted from January to July 2024 with a population of 162 people and a sample of 35 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that before being given health education, the majority of respondents (42.9%) had poor knowledge. After the intervention, there was a significant increase with the majority of respondents (62.9%) having good knowledge. Analysis with the Wilcoxon test gave a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating that health education about menstruation had a significant effect on the knowledge of adolescents at UPT SMP N 15 Medan in 2024. In conclusion, health education has a positive influence in improving adolescents' knowledge about menarche. It is recommended that UPT SMP N 15 Medan routinely conducts counseling on reproductive health for adolescents every year to support their readiness in facing the first menstrual experience. Abstrak Pengetahuan tentang menstruasi saat menarche dapat menyebabkan ketidaksiapan, ketakutan, kecemasan, serta masalah fisik seperti pusing, mual, dismenore, dan menstruasi tidak teratur. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan kesehatan yang tepat sangat penting untuk membantu remaja putri menghadapi menarche tanpa rasa takut atau cemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang menstruasi terhadap pengetahuan remaja dalam menghadapi menarche di UPT SMP N 15 Medan pada tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest, dengan populasi sebanyak 162 orang dan sampel sebanyak 35 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan, mayoritas responden (42.9%) memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang. Setelah intervensi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dengan mayoritas responden (62.9%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik. Analisis dengan uji Wilcoxon memberikan nilai p-value 0.000 < 0.05, menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan tentang menstruasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengetahuan remaja di UPT SMP N 15 Medan tahun 2024. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan kesehatan memiliki pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja mengenai menarche. Disarankan agar UPT SMP N 15 Medan secara rutin mengadakan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja setiap tahunnya untuk mendukung kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi pengalaman menstruasi pertama.

Abstract

Emesis gravidarum occurs in pregnant women during the first trimester of pregnancy. This condition is called emesis gravidarum, or layman calls emesis gravidarum in the morning called morning sickness, but this condition experienced by mothers not only occurs in the morning, but can also occur in the afternoon, evening and night. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of acupressure on emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women at Hj. Hemawati Clinic, Southeast Aceh Regency in 2023. This research design is a pre-experimental method with one-group pretest- posttest design. The population in this study was all the first timester pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum, with accidental sampling techniques and obtained samples of 20 respondents. The research time starts from March- August 2023, which is carried out August 14-27, 2023. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that before acupressure was carried out on emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women, the frequency distribution was known to be moderate, while after acupressure was carried out on emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women, the frequency distribution was known to be light, it can be concluded that there is an effect of acupressure on emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women before and after acupressure because it obtained value = 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion There is an influence before and after acupressure on emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy. Southeast Aceh should inform the importance of acupressure to reduce emesis gravidarum.
