Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the meanings of Pantun intraditional Malay wedding ceremony of Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. The research was a qualitative descriptive. The result showed that in Malay society of Karimun regency, pantun was a cultural art that has been used since long time ago in procession of wedding ceremony. There were special ritual stages in traditional Malay wedding ceremony and for each stage, pantun existed.Pantun is used as a communication way on wedding processions. They were namely as merisik, meminang, akad nikah and bersanding procession.Pantun arranged with the beautiful language, symbols and meanings expressed values, advices and lessons of life. The language that was used in the Pantun has a high aesthetic value.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of Community Service Activities is to carry out one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In addition, it is expected that by serving the community, the existence of higher education institutions can make a major contribution to the development and application of knowledge to the community. The method used in this Community Service is in the form of expository namely the delivery of material verbally and inquiry that is learning that emphasizes the critical and analytical thinking processes related to the awareness about health in their neighborhoods with a deep understanding of the material on how to determine the future. The result of this community service obtained is the increased knowledge for children in the Taman Bacaan Kolong Jembatan Ciputat, South Tangerang so that they have a good view of how to apply awareness of hygiene and health and can be an example for other children. The knowledge gained at Community Service this time is expected to be able to provide new enthusiasm for us in delivering material and motivation and contribute to the young generation in schools, campuses and families. Kata Kunci: expository; awareness; health; inquiry. Abstrak Tujuan dari Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah untuk melaksanakan salah satu Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Selain itu diharapkan dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut keberadaan perguruan tinggi dapat memberikan kontribusi besar kepada pengembangan dan penerapan keilmuan kepada masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan pada Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berupa ekspositori yaitu penyampaian materi secara verbal dan inquiry yaitu pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses berpikir kritis dan analitis terkait kesadaran mengenai kesehatan di dalam lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka dengan pemahaman mendalam terkait materi bagaimana menentukan masa depan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang diperoleh adalah bertambahnya keilmuan bagi anak-anak di Taman Baca Kolong Jembatan Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan agar mereka memiliki pandangan yang baik bagaimana cara menerapkan kesadaran akan kebersihan dan kesehatan dan dapat menjadi contoh bagi anak lainnya. Ilmu yang diperoleh pada Pengabdian Masyarakat kali ini diharapkan mampu memberikan semangat baru bagi kita dalam menyampaikan materi dan motivasi serta berkontribusi bagi generasi muda, baik dilingkungan sekolah, kampus dan keluarga. Abstract

Film Dilan 1990  adalah salah film Indonesia yang banyak ditonton dari kalangan remaja di tahun 2018. Film ini mengangkat cerita tentang kisah percintaan remaja pada masa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) di kota Bandung, tanpa disadari ternyata juga banyak terjadi hal negatif dalam film tersebut. Ada beberapa adegan yang cukup mengganggu dan kurang nyaman dilihat seperti kekerasan verbal dan non verbal. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana unsur kekerasan yang terdapat dalam film Dilan 1990 menurut semiotika Roland Barthes yang dilihat dari denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Penelitian ini memakai metode deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan dalam film Dilan 1990 terdapat adegan kekerasan verbal dan non verbal. Kekerasan verbal merupakan bentuk kekerasan yang ditandai dengan ucapan yang ada pada film ini, yang direpresentasikan dengan perkataan seperti genit, ganjen, gatal, pelacur, setan, anjing, brengsek, memble. Sedangkan kekerasan non verbal merupakan bentuk kekerasan fisik  yang di tandai dengan tindakan yang ada didalam film ini yang direpresentasikan dengan bentuk tindakan memukul, tawuran, menampar dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This research is aimed to get alternative fuel in the form of charcoal briquettes from raw material of wood waste of jabon and waste of palm fiber with adhesive resin and know characteristics of charcoal briquette from mixing waste wood of jabon and waste of palm fiber. The method used in this research is Completely Randomized Design (RAL), consisting of 5 treatments and 3 times replications.The results showed that biomass waste from wood jabon and palm fiber waste can be used as alternative fuel in the form of charcoal briquettes with adhesive resin.Characteristics of wood charcoal briquette of jabon wood and palm fiber waste have fulfilled the criteria of SNI 01-6235-2000 with the average value of water content of wood charcoal briquettes 2.33%, average of the calorific value of wood charcoal briquettes 6525,48 kal / gr ,While from burning process of P1 briquettes wood charcoal jabon takes the longest time compared with other treatment briquettes whose value of 0.256 gr / min. In this research it is found that the best charcoal briquettes are found on charcoal P1 briquettes with 100% composition of wood charcoal Jabon.The P1 briquette has the lowest water content, the highest calorific value and the longest burn time

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and motivation on the performance of madrasah teachersAliyah Negeri 1 Malang.ThisresearchisExplanatory Research research. Emotional intelligence research data, spiritual intelligence and work motivation on the performance of madrasah teachers of thepoorcountry. Population in this research is all teacher of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Malang. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation.Data analysis using testinstrument, normalitytest, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption, hypothesis test. Based on theresults of this study can beconcluded that moral intelligencedoes not affectthe performance of teachers, spiritual intelligence significantly affec tthe performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Malang teachers. Keywords:Emotional Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence And Motivation.

Abstract

Reconstruction means returning to the way it was or rearranging (depicting) again. Reconstruction of the role of parents and teachers in Islamic education refers to the best human beings and the best generation, namely: the Prophet Muhammad SAW, companions and afterwards by understanding the concept of Islamic Education, especially the role of parents and teachers in educating children/students from various Islamic reference sources. Islamic education is only one aspect of Islamic teachings as a whole. Therefore, the purpose of Islamic education is inseparable from the purpose of human life in Islam, namely to create personal servants of Allah who always fear Him and can achieve a happy life in this world and the hereafter. The reconstruction of the role of parents in Islamic education refers back to the concept of Islam in children's education (Tarbiyyatul Aulad fil Islam), namely understanding and practice related to marriage, the laws surrounding birth, the causes of delinquency and its management, the responsibility of educators (in faith education, moral, reason, psychology, social and sex), methods and means, basic rules in children's education as well as effective educational facilities. Reconstructing the teacher's role in Islamic Education by carrying out a role for their students, namely the role of the teacher as a facilitator and as a spiritual father must be able to provide breakfast for the soul with knowledge, moral education and justify it based on a sense of responsibility and compassion. Then the process of teaching and educating a teacher should be a thorough and comprehensive education in all aspects of child development (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) that is not one-sided and strives for a variety of methods, means, media, an understanding of the character of students and an understanding that every child is special and every child is unique. Teachers must be able to be role models, provide guidance and encouragement to their students.

Abstract

Raudatul Athfal (RA) is an Islamic-based early childhood education unit under the guidance of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Al Ghazali's conservative Islamic education is conceptually in accordance with the concept of implementing learning in raudhatul Athfal: First, the Principles of RA Curriculum Development, namely the formation of spiritual and social attitudes, namely behavior that reflects an attitude of faith and piety, development of the nature of faith (religious and moral values), learning that holistic and integrative. Second, in accordance with the characteristics and used as a characteristic of education and learning in RA, which is based on Islamic values ​​based on the Al Quran and Hadith in accordance with Q.S. Annahl/16: 64. These principles and characters are contained in the concept and implementation of learning at RA TAUD SAQU Cahaya Hati South Halmahera as an early childhood education madrasa that uses Al-Quran-based learning. Conservative learning methods used in learning at RA TAUD SAQU Cahaya Hati South Halmahera are a) the model or uswatun hasanah; b) custom or practice; c) Uswatun hasanah/ good example; d) self-reflection or muhasabah and e). Stories and qishah. In the implementation of learning at RA TAUD SAQU Cahaya Hati, it was found that the five methods were applied in the learning process. Consistent application of Islamic values ​​from the time they come to the madrasa to go home. Especially for the Al-Qur'an Thafifz method, the conservative talaqqi, Tasmi, Muraja'ah methods are used and giving prizes to students as a form of encouragement and motivation to enjoy learning and memorizing the Koran

Abstract

That education is to prepare individuals or individuals to be able to face this life perfectly, happily, love the motherland, be strong in body, perfect in morals, orderly in thinking, have gentle feelings, proficient in science, help each other to others, improve pen and oral expression and improve his deeds. According to Abrasyi, the main foundation in Islamic character education is faith. Allah gives lessons in Q.S. Luqman/31: 12-19. The advice is explicit, clear and detailed about how Lukman Alhakim educates and directs the child's personality, and maintains his character so that he can face various tests and challenges in life in this world. Strengthening character education in an Islamic perspective is strengthening from the side of faith. The root of faith is the sentence of monotheism which is the basis of a good Islamic personality. Therefore. Strengthening character education is carried out by strengthening faith, namely with an attitude of istiqamah and understanding the dynamics of faith, having faith and being close to the Koran, always being obedient and obedient to Allah, making piety as clothing and carrying out Islam as a whole so that it can achieve degrees of glory with that piety. The challenges of character education in the 21st century are: a character crisis, the emergence of signs of the times that destroy character, mental illness, distortion of moral goodness, transactional culture, and lack of interest in moral and ethical lessons. Therefore strengthening character education is carried out based on religion, namely the Koran. Al-Quran contains many instructions in strengthening character education, namely: the character of worship in Q.S. Al Furqon/25: 63-77, the character of abid, ulil albab, caliph and insan kamil and the growth of work ethic. Efforts to strengthen character education in the family are to increase the role of fathers in children's education. Efforts in education are various efforts to improve the character education system in educational institutions in order to create a school culture and educational institutions that lead to the production of superior human beings and are based on the noble values ​​of Islamic teachings and national culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor sosiolinguistik dalam sebuah cerita pendek dari Selandia Baru yang berjudul “The Garden Party” dengan menggunakan pendekatan Holmes. Dalam analisis penelitian ini, ada tiga bagian penting yang ingin digaris bawahi oleh peneliti yaitu pendahuluan, hasil, dan yang terakhir adalah kesimpulan. , pendahuluan membahas tentang gambaran sosiolinguistik, rangkuman singkat “The Garden Party”. Pada bagian pembahasan, peneliti akan membahas tentang analisis faktor sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpen “The Garden Party”. Pada bagian terakhir, peneliti akan membahas tentang ringkasan analisis. Berdasarkan analisis data, terdapat 106 total frekuensi faktor sosial yang ditemukan dalam cerita yang terdiri dari 28 kali usia dan situasi sosial (26%), 25 kali posisi (23%), 15 kali jenis kelamin (14%), dan 9 kali kelas (8%).

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the Demonstration Method can improve Student Speaking Learning Outcomes, find out whether the use of the Demonstration Method can increase Student Learning Interest, find out how learning activities during learning activities use the Demonstration Method. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research method, which is a study conducted in the classroom, in which researchers study and reflect collaboratively on a learning approach with the aim of improving the process and results of teaching in the classroom through improvement. The results of the research and discussion draw the conclusion that the application of the demonstration method can increase students' learning interest. The results showed that the demonstration method created a pleasant learning atmosphere so that student learning outcomes increased, namely from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and to cycle 3 there was an increase, cycle 1 the average student learning outcomes were 35%, student activity was 37.5% and student learning interest 64%. In Cycle 2 there was an increase but it was not satisfactory, increasing to 65%, student activity 59% and learning interest to 78.7%. Cycle 3 is the end of the research, the average value of students has reached the expected value, the acquisition value is 85%, learning activities are 86% and learning interest has increased to 81%. It was concluded that the demonstration method can improve the learning outcomes of speaking English because with this method students learn as if they are faced with daily activities, students learn and practice.
