This study aims to investigate the impact of lifting techniques in various haircut styles and how this affects the final outcome and appearance of the hair. This literature review analyzes various lifting methods, including vertical, horizontal, and diagonal elevation, as well as the implementation of each technique on different haircut styles such as bob, layers, pixie, and shag. The results of the research show that choosing the right lifting technique can significantly influence the texture, volume, and shape of the hair, as well as create a more accurate cut in line with desired hair fashion trends. Additionally, this study reveals the function of lifting techniques in creating a balance between control and freedom of hair movement, as well as their impact on long-term hair health. . This research offers an understanding for experts in the beauty sector to identify and apply lifting techniques that suit the client's needs, in order to achieve the best haircut that is in line with current trends.

Hair cutting is an essential skill in beauty education that requires understanding of techniques and repeated practice. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of video tutorials in improving hair cutting skills among beauty students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, as well as source triangulation to ensure data validity. The results showed that video tutorials can help students understand techniques visually and systematically, as well as improve their psychomotor skills. Students also showed a positive response to the use of videos because they can be accessed flexibly and facilitate independent learning. In conclusion, video tutorials are effective as a practical learning medium and are worthy of being integrated into the beauty education curriculum to improve the quality of skills learning.

Hair cutting using the graduation technique is an essential aspect in the professional world of hairdressing. This technique requires a high level of precision, a deep understanding of the structure of the head, the direction of hair growth, and skills in adjusting the cutting angle to create a natural and proportional hair length transition. This article aims to analyze the extent of mastery of graduated hair cutting skills among professional hairstylists and identify factors that influence the effectiveness of mastery of these techniques. In this research, a qualitative study method was used with a case study approach in several professional salons and beauty training institutions. The results of the analysis show that mastery of the graduation technique is greatly influenced by the quality of technical training, work experience, use of appropriate tools, and the ability to interpret the cut design according to the client's needs. This article emphasizes the importance of ongoing training and updating technical competencies as key to maintaining high standards of service in the professional hairdressing industry.

The development of digital technology has driven significant changes in learning strategies, particularly in vocational education that emphasizes practical skills. One of the most effective media is instructional video. This study aims to systematically examine the impact of video media on enhancing haircutting practice skills. The research design employed is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through the analysis of ten national and international journals discussing the implementation of video in hairdressing practice education. Data collection techniques involved scientific document searches, inclusion-based selection, content analysis, and thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that video media significantly contributes to improving students’ skills by providing clear visualizations of work procedures, learning time flexibility, and increased motivation. Videos allow learners to revisit materials, understand techniques in depth, and foster independent learning. Furthermore, videos serve as tools for self-evaluation in haircutting practice. However, challenges such as limited devices, internet access, and digital literacy remain issues of concern. Based on these findings, video is recognized as a highly potential learning medium to be implemented in practical skill education, especially in the field of hairdressing.

Hair problems such as dandruff and hair loss are often influenced by various factors, including the hairstyle chosen. This study aims to analyze the role of hairstyle in preventing or optimizing these conditions. The methods used were observational studies and questionnaires involving respondents with various hair styling habits. The results showed that overly tight hairstyles, excessive use of hot tools, and suboptimal scalp hygiene can increase the risk of dandruff and hair loss. Conversely, looser hairstyles, good scalp care, and the selection of appropriate products can help maintain healthy hair. These findings emphasize the importance of education regarding the selection of hairstyles that are not only aesthetic but also consider hair and scalp health. The implications of this study can be a reference for beauty practitioners and the public in choosing hairstyles that are safer for hair health.

Kebersihan alat pangkas rambut merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga kesehatan kulit kepala pelanggan. Alat yang tidak steril dapat menjadi media penyebaran bakteri, jamur, dan virus yang berpotensi menyebabkan berbagai infeksi dan iritasi kulit kepala, seperti hepatitis B dan HIV/AIDS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak alat pangkas rambut yang tidak higienis terhadap kesehatan kulit kepala sangat penting mengingat dampak yang ditimbulkannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan meninjau berbagai penelitian terdahulu mengenai prosedur sterilisasi alat pangkas rambut dan kaitannya dengan risiko infeksi kulit kepala. Kajian teoritis dalam penelitian ini melibatkan teori kebersihan, kesehatan kulit kepala, serta pencegahan penyakit untuk memahami hubungan antara variabel yang diteliti. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, kebersihan alat pangkas rambut memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan kulit kepala. Alat yang tidak disterilkan dengan baik dapat menjadi media penyebaran berbagai penyakit, termasuk infeksi bakteri, jamur, serta virus seperti hepatitis B dan HIV/AIDS. Berbagai metode sterilisasi, seperti sterilisasi kimiawi, fisik, dan mekanis, dapat digunakan untuk mencegah penyebaran infeksi.

Beauty trends, including hairstyles, continue to evolve with the times. One hairstyle that remains popular and relevant today is the layered haircut, which gives dimension, volume, and a more vibrant and modern look. This article aims to provide inspiration and an in-depth understanding of layered hair from an aesthetic and functional perspective. The method used is a literature review by analyzing scientific literature and beauty trends in the last five years The findings show that layer cuts not only enhance the visual appearance of the hair, but can also be adapted to various face shapes and hair types, supporting the modern concept of beauty that prioritizes simplicity and functionality. Various layer variations such as short, medium, long, and shaggy layers, as well as combinations with styling techniques such as flat iron, curling iron, blow in, and blow out, further enrich the versatility of the look. The implication of this article is that layer cuts can be an adaptive solution in the modern beauty world, offering a fresh, practical, and elegant look, as well as boosting individual confidence through proportional visual aesthetic adjustments.

Kehidupan masyarakat Jawa tidak dapat dilepaskan dari tradisi, adat istiadat, serta praktik-praktik kepercayaan yang bersifat mistis. Unsur-unsur tersebut membentuk identitas kultural masyarakat Jawa dan diwariskan secara turun-temurun melalui berbagai ritual dan simbol budaya. Islam sebagai agama mayoritas di tanah Jawa memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk nilai, norma, serta sistem hukum yang berlaku dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Interaksi antara ajaran Islam dan budaya lokal ini telah melahirkan sebuah dinamika sosial-religius yang unik, di mana keduanya saling memengaruhi dan membentuk konfigurasi Islam khas Jawa. Hukum Islam dan tradisi adat Jawa merupakan dua sistem normatif yang memiliki pengaruh kuat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Jawa. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana hukum Islam diperkenalkan, diterima, dan diintegrasikan dalam kerangka adat Jawa. Melalui metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode kajian pustaka dan analisis historis-antropologis, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa proses interaksi antara hukum Islam dan adat Jawa berlangsung secara dinamis dan akomodatif. Nilai-nilai hukum Islam mengalami transformasi melalui lokalitas budaya, tanpa kehilangan esensi ajarannya. Fenomena ini mencerminkan model Islam Nusantara yang kontekstual dan kultural.

Muhammad Syahrur, seorang pemikir Suriah, memperkenalkan paradigma baru dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan qira’ah mu’asirah (pembacaan kontemporer) dalam karya monumentalnya, Al-Kitab wa al-Qur’an: Qira’ah Mu’asirah (1990). Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan inovasi pemikiran Syahrur, khususnya dalam konsep wahyu dan teori hudud, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari karya-karya Syahrur dan sumber sekunder seperti jurnal, buku, dan artikel melalui penelitian kepustakaan. Syahrur membedakan istilah Al-Kitab (teks wahyu holistik), Al-Dzikr (pengingat spiritual), dan Al-Furqan (pembeda hak-batil), menolak sinonimitas untuk menggali makna spesifik melalui analisis linguistik. Berdasarkan Surah Ali Imran ayat 7, ia membagi Al-Qur’an menjadi ayat muhkamat (hukum universal) dan mutasyabihat (metafisik), menegaskan bahwa Al-Qur’an bebas dari keterikatan asbab an-nuzul historis, memungkinkan interpretasi fleksibel sesuai konteks modern. Teori hududnya menawarkan kerangka matematis dengan batas bawah (al-hadd al-adna) dan atas (al-hadd al-a’la), memungkinkan ijtihad dalam hukum seperti warisan, zina, dan transaksi keuangan tanpa melanggar ketentuan ilahi. Meskipun kontroversial karena menantang tafsir klasik, pendekatan Syahrur memperkaya diskursus tafsir kontemporer dengan menjaga relevansi Al-Qur’an di era modern.
