Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia:Adanya  ta‘zi>r di pesantren merupakan  sanksi  yang  diterapkan  sebagai  ganjaran untuk santri yang melanggar aturan,  dalam  upanya  pencegahan  agar tidak terjadi pelanggaran yang sama. Penerapan ta‘zi>r tentunya merupakan akibat dari perilaku santri yang tidak patuh terhadap apa yang ditetapkan di pesantren. Tulisan ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui adanya sejauh mana tindakan kekerasan anak dalam pendidikan di lembaga pesantren, dalam hal ini melalui ta‘zi>r. Di samping itu, hal ini dapat menjadi pintu masuk terhadap penelitian-penelitian yang lain yang akan membidik cara solutif dalam mengurangi dan dapat dimungkinkan secara jangka panjang dapat menghilangkan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam pondok pesantren. Hal demikian dapat dilakukan apabila sejumlah kalangan baik pengelola pesantren, orang tua, pemerintah dan tokoh pesantren memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang hak anak (santri) untuk mendapatkan hak pendidikannya dengan cara yang humanis. Hal itu tidak terlepas dari filosofi pendidikan yang menempatkan anak didik (dalam hal ini santri) sebagai subjek pendidikan. English:Ta‘zi>r is a sanction imposed as a punishment for students who violate the rules which are stipulated in the pesantren. It aims to discourage students from doing the violation. This paper investigates the violence committed or so-called ta‘zi>r in the process of education at Islamic boarding institutions. Furthermore, it can be a fruitful area of conducting further researches on revealing the appropriate ways to reduce violence in education and to eliminate any forms of violence in the boarding school. However, to ameliorate the practice of violence in the boarding school can be achieved by supports from a number of people, including the boarding school managers, parents, the government, and Islamic scholars who have sufficient understanding of the students’ rights to gain the right education which adheres to humanistic principles. This definitely goes hand in hand with the education philosophy which regards students i.e. Islamic students as the education target.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia:Pengembangan kapasitas institusi dan sumber daya manusia di madrasah merupakan misi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam dewasa ini. Namun, manajerial kelembagaan madrasah masih belum memenuhi ekspektasi yang diharapkan jika dilihat dari kreativitas dan inovasinya. Melihat fenomena tersebut, kiranya upaya untuk menciptakan kondisi yang kondusif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan adalah mutlak membutuhkan budaya manajemen yang kualitas melalui Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah salah satu alternatif. Dengan manajemen tersebut, diharapkan efektifitas pola kerja di madrasah akan dapat terwujud secara menyeluruh. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang peran kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan kapasitas institusi dan sumberdaya manusia melalui pendekatan TQM. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan penerapan TQM  dengan library research melalui analisis deskriptif non-statistik sebagai penyajian datanya.  Sebagai kesimpulan, kepemimpinan dan manajerial kepala madrasah berperan penting dalam menentukan  kebutuhan lembaga dan menyusun visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga. Di sisi lain, efektifitas TQM ditentukan oleh kemampuan kepala madrasah dalam hal manajerial, gagasan pembaharuan, efektifitas proses pembelajaran, pengelolaan tenaga kependidikan yang baik, partisipasi warga madrasah dan masyarakat, akuntabilitas dan motivasi untuk mewujudkan tim kerja yang solid.English:Institutional and human capacity development in madrasah is central in developing islamic education quality nowadays. However, the institutional management in madrasah has not yet meet the expectation from its creativity and innovation. Based upon the phenomenon, this paper offers   Total Quality Management (TQM) as an alternative to create conducive atmosphere in madrasah for achieving educational purposes. The management expects holistic-effective workflow in madrasah. This article focuses on the role of madrasah principal in developing institutional and human capacity through the TQM. With library research, this article describes the TQM implementation and provides descriptive non-statistical analysis in providing the data. As a conclusion, the madrasah principal’s leadership and managerial role are the very important factors to decide intitutional needs and constructing institutional visions-missions-aims. In addition, the TQM effectiveness depends on the principal’s ability in managing, offering innovation, creating effective learning activities, managing staffs, involving stakeholders, promoting accountability, and motivating people for a solid teamwork.

Abstract

The harmony of multi-ethnic and religious communities in an area is always interesting to discuss because it can provide solutions to conflict-affected areas. This phenomenological study aims to analyze the adaptation process of multicultural values carried out by Pesantren Miftahul Qulub in building social harmony in multi-ethnic and religious village of Polagan, Pamekasan, Madura. This phenomenological research demonstrates that multicultural adaptation goes through local culture, moderate school of thoughts, outreach, and social capital. Some of these approaches are the actualization and dissemination of Islamic values and Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) spirit that makes pesantren so easily accepted and mingles within multicultural communities. Seen from a pedagogical perspective, Pesantren Miftahul Qulub emphasizes the community-based learning process. Therefore, this concept can be a reflection for other pesantren, that the curriculum and academic culture must be adapted to the needs of a diverse, dynamic and developing society.

Abstract

Initially, the application of ta'zir was considered normal among pesantren and the community. But lately, not a few who argue that ta'zir applied in pesantren is synonymous with violence. This study aims to analyze the problem of applying Ta'zir in Al Ibrohimy Galis Bangkalan Islamic boarding school along with alternative solutions that rely on Human Rights in Indonesia. The author uses descriptive qualitative research, with primary data sources Al Ibrohimy boarding school and board chair, as well as relevant secondary sources. Meanwhile, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The findings of this study reveal that ta'zir in Al Ibrohimy Islamic boarding school is a way of disciplining troubled students to obey the rules of Islamic boarding schools. The application of ta'zir is also understood as a means of educating students to have a deterrent effect and not to repeat it. However, ta'zir sometimes makes students become depressed, traumatized and even physically and psychologically ill. Therefore, there must be aware of the pesantren that excessive ta'zir is an act that cannot be fully justified. Thus, all elements of pesantren must have ta'zir options that do not conflict with human rights. Besides, to minimize excessive ta'zir, a reconstruction of the system is needed that provides an alternative punishment for education. Abstract

Now a day there is a tendency someone see science as a product, less attention to the process. They have no attempt to find formulas, propositions, or new theories and try to control and forecast, just simply accept. In the context of seeking the truth, the true truth is done through the Apocalypse Approach. The truth based on revelation is absolute truth, because it is based on belief and belief. Then Discovery of the Truth Through a Non-Scientific Approach. Knowledge-carrying knowledge does not always go through scientific procedures and processes, this tends to be intuitive. Discovery of truth through a common sense approach This approach is usually less acceptable as a scientific truth. Then Discovery of truth through accidental approach The discovery of truth through accidental approach is not a scientifically-acquired truth, Discovery of truth through trial and error approach. The discovery of truth through an intuitive approach, The discovery of truth through an intuitive approach is obtained through an unconscious process without the use of reasoning and the process of scientific thinking. And the discovery of truth through the approach of authority. The discovery of truth through the Scientific Approach. That is the method of seeking the truth done by the philosophers. Research is very important in order to find the truth about science and science, History proves the excitement of research practice so that the impact on the fertile of science discoveries. Just how these sari lessons become our best teachers to get the spirit to do research, researching to find the truth, and increase the piety to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Nowadays, the phenomenon of the full day school program is quite attractive to the public. Full day school seems to answer all the concerns of parents who are no longer able to protect their children from negative behavior such as juvenile delinquency, drugs, brawls, and gadget addiction. This study aims to analyze the application of full day school in shaping the religious character of students at Raudhatul Jannah Pepelegi Junior High School, Waru Sidoarjo. This qualitative research found that the full day school program at the institution not only offers a system that combines general science and religious knowledge, but also includes additional study hours. Full day school tries to shape the religious character of students both in their devotion to God Almighty and in the practice of their social life. Full Day School is in line with the Islamic epistemology of Bayani, Irfani, and Burhani about the combination of intellectual and spiritual intelligence. Raudhatul Jannah Junior High School as an institution that implements a full day school program so far has been able to shape the religious character of its students through habituation activities as well as in religious activities held in schools. This success is due to the role of teachers as good role models and the cooperation of parents.

Abstract

The government is currently promoting a program to strengthen religious moderation through the Ministry of Religion. However, the program is not optimal if it is not supported by all parties, especially from the education sector. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools can become supporting partners in line with the Islamic boarding school culture which prioritizes togetherness in religion. This qualitative research seeks to analyze in depth how the culture of the pesantren is sublimated to multicultural values, which lead to an attitude of religious moderation. The Pesanten Al-Ibrohimy that located in Galis village, Galis sub-district, Bangkalan district is the object of this research. The results of the study show that Islamic boarding schools with their multicultural character educate their students to become moderate religionists, so that they can cope with cultivating inclusive thinking and attitudes. Therefore, the values ​​of multicultural education must continue to be produced in a sustainable manner, as a concrete form of pesantren's contribution to the development of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kitab kuning adalah warisan Ulama’ atau intelektual muslim yang harus dilestarikan secara aktif melalui praksis pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini mendiskusikan bagaimana model pembelajaran berbasis kitab kuning dan bagaimana kitab kuning dapat diajarkan tidak hanya di pesantren. Dengan pendekatan penelitian kepustaakaan (library research) dan analisis isi (content analisys) dengan mengambil beberapa referensi dari beberapa jurnal ilmiyah. Hasil  kajian ini menemukan bahwa  Model pembelajaran berbasis kitab kuning sebenarnya dapat dilakukan dengan menjadikan kitab kuning sebagai sumber utama dalam pendidikan tidak hanya di pesantren, namun juga di lembaga pendidikan formal lainnya. Kitab kuning sebagai tradisi ulama terutama ulama’ nusantara yang telah banyak berkontribusi melalui karya kitab kuning sejatinya harus menjadi semangat dan motivasi para generasi berikutnya untuk menghidupkan kitab kuning sebagai sebuah karya yang harus dilestarikan dan dikembangkan. Saat ini kitab kuning sebagai sebuah karya warisan literasi dalam dunia pesantren menurut penulis mengalami krisis baik sebagai sumber belajar maupun sebagai sebuah karya. Model pembelajaran kitab kuning juga dapat dilakukan dengan strategi ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning. Abstract

Abstrak Paper ini akan mendiskusikan bagaimana pesantren memberikan warna pokok dalam berbangsa, K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari menyebutkan ada lima ajaran pokok Pesantren dalam membangun nilai Nusantara melalui pendiidan Pesantren. Pertama, Pesantren dengan system pendidikannya telah mengajak bangsa ini untuk mandiri secara ekonomi, politik dan budaya dan dalam kerja pengetahuan. Kedua, Pendidikan Pesantren telah mengajak dan memberikan pesan persatuan bangsa se-Nusantara, bhineka tunggal ika. Ketiga, Pengetahuan diabdikan untuk kepentingan nusa dan bangsa, itu sebabnya pesantren mengajarkan berbagai jenis kebudayaan Nusantara. Keempat, Karena dalam sejarah pergaulan muslim sangat rapat dengan bangsa lain, maka pesantren mengajarkan cara bersiasah dan bergaul dengan bangsa lain, Kelima, Pesantren mengajarkan kepada semua bangsa untuk memaksimalkan potensi ekonomi dan sumber daya negri ini, itu sebabnya pesantren hadir di tempat-tempat mata air dan suber kekayaan alam. Pendidikan Kemaslahatan yang diajarkan di Pesantren akan berpengaruh kepada sikap inklusifitas dan keterbukaan bangsa dalam menyikapi keberagaman nusantara. Abstract This paper will discuss how Pesantren gives the main color of Nusantara, K.H. Hasyim Ash'ari mentioned there are five basic teachings of Pesantren in building the value of Islam Nusantara through the Islamic boarding school. First, Pesantren with its education system has invited this nation to be independent economically, politically and culturally and in working knowledge. Secondly, Pesantren’s Education has invited and gave the message of unity of the nation, “bhineka tunggal ika”. Third, Knowledge is devoted to the interests of the nation and the nation, that's why Pesantren teaches various types of Nusantara culture. Fourth, because in the history of the Muslim community is very close to other nations, the Pesantren teaches how to deal with and associate with other nations, Fifth, Pesantren teaches all nations to maximize the economic potential and resources of this country, that is why pesantren present in the places of the eye water and natural resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka untuk menjawab suatu masalah mengenai bagaimana dimensi sosiokultural pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan Agma Islam menekankan pada pentingnya interaksi sosial bagi perkembangan belajar seseorang, pengembangnnya terjadi di lingkungan di mana individu tersebut berada, dan akan berlangsung seumur hidup seiring dengan perubahan-perubahan yang ada di lingkungannya tersebut sehingga akan membentuk kepribadian dan pola pikir seseorang. Pendidikan Islam memandang bahwa interaksi sosial hanya merupakan sebagian dari pendekatan-pendekatan yang haus diperhatikan dalam proses pembelajaran, lebih dari itu pendidikan Islam mengutamakan pembinaan semangat dan sikap keagamaan, yaitu berusaha mengembangkan semua daya dan aspek yang ada pada manusia demi tercapainya tujuan akhir pendidikan yaitu membentuk manusia seutuhnya (insan kamil). Pendidikan Islam dalam proses pembelajaran memandang bahwa interaksi sosial dan budaya merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam proses pembelajaran, karena hal itu dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan kepribadian dan pola pikir individu dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan Islam menekankan pada keseimbangan antara duniwi dan ukhrawi, artinya disamping memperhatikan subjek-subjek kebudayaan, latihan-latihan praktis dan pemikiran, pendidikan Islam mengutamakan pembinaan semangat dan sikap keagamaan, dan proses pengembangan kependidikannya ada tujuan akhirnya yaitu penghambaan diri kepada Allah, yakni sebagai insan kamil.
