Abstract

Blended learning is a flexible learning environment that could enhance learning. However, its implementation has not been entirely successful, as many students still face difficulties in learning and adapting to this learning environment. This research aims to understand why students experience learning difficulties in blended learning. The research approach used is qualitative research with a case study design. The results of the study show that the learning difficulties experienced by accounting students in blended learning environment are caused by low self-regulated learning, inadequate family support, poor internet connectivity, lack of immediate feedback, communication barriers, and students dissatisfaction with online learning session.

Abstract

Edukasi HOTS bagi guru dalam pembelajaran bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berorientasi pada ketrampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Dalam kegiatan ini, edukasi HOTS dilakukan khususnya melalui pengenalan case method, sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi analisis situasi, edukasi, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS melalui case method. Luaran kegiatan meliputi publikasi di media massa, artikel jurnal nasional terindeks Sinta, MOU dan perjanjian kerjasama, poster, serta HKI.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad-21 menuntut guru untuk mampu menciptakan pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu membentuk keterampilan abad-21 peserta didik. Pembelajaran abad-21 mengharapkan guru pada proses pembelajaran menerapkan model-model pembelajaran inovatif, tidak lagi menggunakan model pembelajaran tradisional. Terdapat empat jenis model pembelajaran inovatif yang merefleksikan pembelajaran abad-21 yaitu inquiry learning, discovery learning, problem based learning (PBL) dan project based learning (PjBL). Hasil survey awal juga menunjukan bahwa beberapa guru sudah ada yang mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif seperti PBL, tetapi masih terdapat kesalahan dalam menerapkan model PBL. Sintak PBL belum diterapkan dengan sebenarnya oleh guru akuntansi. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan tentang bagaimana yang seharusnya menurut konsep dan pedagogy dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif, terutama pada sintaks orientasi peserta didik pada masalah (problem).

Abstract

Technology has become a more significant component of internal and external audits, and rapid changes are occurring in auditing procedures to reflect developments in the business world. This study aims to review existing literature on Data Analytics in Internal Auditing. The research utilizes the scoping review method, which follows the protocol established by Arksey and O'Malley (2005). The investigation has 20 years of observation, from 2003 to 2023. Thirty-nine articles were selected from electronic databases: Sage Journals, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Emerald Publish, and Science Direct. The mapping research demonstrates the growth of data analytics in internal auditing. Key findings indicate that data analytics offers numerous advantages for internal auditing, including improved risk identification, enhanced fraud detection, increased operational efficiency, and better decision-making support. However, significant challenges persist, including issues related to data quality, skills gaps, organizational resistance, and technological constraints, emphasizing its crucial role in improving internal audit effectiveness and efficiency and indicating which skills internal auditors need to gain knowledge about internal auditing technology. The Review concludes by identifying gaps in the literature and suggesting future research directions to further advance our understanding of data analytics in internal audits and its implications for organizational performance and compliance.

Abstract

Pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran interaktif melalui konten Learning Management System (LMS) yang transformatif serta desain buku audio visual berbasis hyper content untuk mahasiswa PPG Seni Budaya bertujuan meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman mahasiswa melalui penggunaan teknologi modern dan metode pembelajaran yang adaptif. Proses pengembangan ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan konten, serta evaluasi efektivitas melalui uji coba kepada mahasiswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LMS transformatif dan buku audio visual berbasis hyper content mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, pemahaman materi, dan keterampilan teknis mahasiswa secara signifikan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang nyata dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran, termasuk peningkatan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dengan hasil yang positif ini, inovasi pembelajaran ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi secara luas untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di bidang seni budaya. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi canggih dalam pembelajaran diyakini dapat membuat materi pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan dinamis, serta mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa yang beragam dan terus berkembang. Implementasi ini menunjukkan potensi besar dalam mengubah cara pengajaran seni budaya menjadi lebih interaktif dan efektif, sekaligus mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan dengan keterampilan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study focuses on what strategies are used to reduce the negative impact of using heuristics in decision making. This study aims to examine in depth the relevant strategies that can be used to reduce heuristic bias in investment decision making, especially among individual investors. Qualitative research method with a case study approach, research data was collected using purposive sampling technique on individual investors who actively invest in the capital market, either through stocks or digital platforms such as online mutual funds and trading applications. The research findings consist of one main theme that is in accordance with the focus of the research, namely strategies to overcome heuristic bias, which includes four sub-themes consisting of systematic evaluation and planning, application of practical strategies and self-discipline, use of guidelines for consistency and objectivity, and training to increase awareness and self-control. The findings contribute to the literature in behavioral finance and financial psychology, especially by expanding the understanding of the self-control mechanisms used by investors in responding to cognitive biases. These findings also support and strengthen prospect theory by adding dimensions of contextual and individual control strategies in responding to investment risk and uncertainty.

Abstract

Sustainability awareness is students' continuous awareness to protect and respect the environment and life surroundings. Awareness of environmental sustainability is one of the prerequisites for environmental attitudes and behavioral changes in caring for the natural environment in the face of climate change and global warming. Higher education holds the responsibility to form students with environmental awareness and change the attitudes of future generations towards the importance of preserving the natural environment. Sustainability awareness is influenced by critical thinking. Critical thinking is the process of making judgments based on the processes of analysis, interpretation, evaluation, inference, explanation and reflection. This research uses simple regression analysis techniques. The research results prove that critical thinking influence on sustainability awareness.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Collaborative Artistic Platforms learning model that is integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, in order to optimize the abilities of PPG (Professional Teacher Education) students at partner schools. This model is designed to improve collaborative skills, creativity and understanding of Pancasila values through interactive artistic activities. Research methods include model development, implementation in the field, and evaluation of effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research results show that this learning model is effective in increasing student involvement, their understanding of Pancasila values, as well as more creative and collaborative teaching abilities. It is hoped that this model can become a reference in developing a PPG curriculum that is more innovative and relevant to educational needs in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the mandatory requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree is completing a bachelor's thesis. The current COVID-19 pandemic, on the other hand, creates several pressures that cause students to fall behind on their thesis completion. This study aimed to determine how hardiness and social support affect students' ability to cope with academic stress while writing their bachelor’s thesis during a pandemic. A 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was used to collect the data. The total research sample consisted of 207 students from a public university in Indonesia working on their thesis during the pandemic. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. This study found that hardiness and social support all significantly negatively impact academic stress. The greater the students' hardiness and social support, the less academic stress they will experience. The findings also show that the primary source of stress for students writing their thesis is a lack of academic support, which has implications for the need to design a suitable support system mechanism so that thesis writing can be completed on time.
