Sustainable Development Goal bidang 13 (SDG 13) mengenai perubahan iklim menekankan pentingnya peningkatan literasi perubahan iklim secara komprehensif. Seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk sekolah dan siswa, memiliki tanggung jawab terhadap perubahan iklim yang terjadi secara global. Untuk memperkuat tanggung jawab tersebut, diperlukan pembelajaran yang sistematis dan komprehensif melalui model EMKONTAN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 dan SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kota Batu, dengan serangkaian tahapan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, workshop, pendampingan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui ceramah mengenai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan mengimplementasikan model EMKONTAN. Selanjutnya, workshop diselenggarakan untuk merancang implementasi model ini, diikuti dengan pendampingan dalam proses penerapan di kelas. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai efektivitas implementasi, yang kemudian diakhiri dengan refleksi mengenai hasil pembelajaran EMKONTAN serta peningkatan literasi perubahan iklim pada siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru partisipan telah menguasai model EMKONTAN dan mampu menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran secara efektif. Model EMKONTAN melalui implementasi sintaksnya secara konsisten mampu berkontribusi pada peningkatan literasi perubahan iklim, karena meningkatnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan literasi perubahan iklim pada siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam program ini, menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran EMKONTAN dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai perubahan iklim. Mentoring the Implementation of EMKONTAN Learning to Strengthen Climate Change Literacy at Muhammadiyah Middle School, Batu City Abstract Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) on climate change emphasizes the importance of comprehensively improving climate change literacy. All levels of society, including schools and students, have a responsibility towards climate change that is occurring globally. To strengthen this responsibility, systematic and comprehensive learning is needed through the EMKONTAN model. This community service activity was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 and SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu City, with a series of stages including socialization, training, workshops, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. Socialization was carried out through lectures on improving the quality of learning by implementing the EMKONTAN model. Furthermore, a workshop was held to design the implementation of this model, followed by mentoring in the implementation process in the classroom. Monitoring and evaluation were carried out to assess the effectiveness of the implementation, which then ended with a reflection on the results of EMKONTAN learning and improving climate change literacy in students. The results of the community service showed that participating teachers had mastered the EMKONTAN model and were able to apply it in learning effectively. The EMKONTAN model through its consistent syntax implementation is able to contribute to increasing climate change literacy, due to increased student learning activities. In addition, there was an increase in climate change literacy among students participating in this program, indicating that the EMKONTAN learning model can be an effective strategy in increasing students' awareness and understanding of climate change.
