Abstract

This study aims to map the Prior Knowledge that is owned by prospective students of Natural Sciences TeacherTraining Faculty Unsri. The sample in this study were prospective science teachers who are students from theChemistry Education Study Program Unsri FKIP (n = 71). The instrument used in this study was a multiple choicequestion in the form of a three-tier test. Questions are developed based on learning objectives and the results of previousresearch studies on similar topics. The results of this study indicate that there is a tendency for FKIP Unsri IPAprospective students to still have misconceptions and high lack of knowledge. Questions that show a high misconceptionare found in the topic of menstruation and pregnancy. A high percentage of lack of knowledge is shown in the topic ofgametogenesis. While the highest understanding of concept can be seen in the topic of the reproductive organs. Thefindings of this study can be used as an illustration to determine the steps for planning learning activities so that theycan help minimize misconceptions that occur after the learning process takes place.

Abstract

The proper learning strategy, mainly in cellular respiration topic, can be determined as mapping teacher candidate?s prior knowledge was done. This study aimed to get the profile of prior knowledge of teacher candidates in cellular respiration topic. This survey research used four-tier diagnostic test as data collection instrument. The number of samples was 183 of teacher candidates from three study programs in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sriwijaya. The data was analyzed using percentage. The results showed that the best understanding of the concept was in the utilization of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats during cellular respiration process. The highest misconception tended to occur in general concept of cellular respiration. Thus, the studies which emphasize the undergirding reasons of the high misconception occurred.

Abstract

Laboratory activities can improve creative thinking skills. This study aims to develop an authentic assessment based on creative thinking skills. This research is development research with the Rowntree development model. The research stages consist of the planning stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage. Data were analyzed using CVR and test description. This study was conducted with 33 participants. This research has produced an authentic assessment instrument consisting of learning indicators, written tests, test rubrics, product rubrics and psychomotor assessment rubrics. An authentic assessment developed in the qualitative analysis of carbohydrates with a CVR value obtained is +0.70, which can be considered valid for all validated components. The authentic assessment reliability test resulted in an average score of 56.56, a standard deviation of 25.06, and test reliability of 0.82. from the analysis, it was determined that the authentic assessment based on creative thinking skills of qualitative analysis of carbohydrates with local material developed had met the valid and reliable criteria.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah tersusunnya Modul Pembelajaran Kimia pada Mata Kuliah KewirausahaanTerintegrasi STEM dan PBLuntuk berwirausaha yang valid,   praktis,    dan   efektif.   Manfaat   Penelitian,   berwirausaha   alternatif menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan membantu meningkatkan kesejahtaraan manusia. Hasil uji coba Modul Pembelajaran ini memenuhi kriteria efektif. Hal ini dikarenakan saat uji coba memecahkan masalah lapangan pekerjaan telah dapat menyusun desain pemecahan diantaranyaAgrobisnis di Belitang, Sumatera Selatan. Simpulan, Modul ini valid, praktis, dan efektif. Modul ini dinyatakan valid berdasarkan penilaian ketiga validator, validaasi pedagogi 4,00 (sangat valid), validasi content  3,88  (sangat  valid) dan validasi disain 3,83 (sangat logis/sistematis). Kepraktisan Modul ini didapat dari hasil wawancara pada tahap one-to-one  dan  small  group.  Nilai  yang  diperoleh  pada  tahap  one-to-one  4,0 (sangat praktis) dan tahap small group 4,0 (sangat praktis)

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan guru dalam penulisan karya ilmiah memalui pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penulisan artikel ini didasarkan pada kegiatan workshop daring yang dilakukan bagi guru kimia Kota Palembang, workshop pelatihan PTK dilakukan selama empat hari, dua hari virtual (daring) dan dua hari kerja mandiri. Hasil survey terhadap 33 orang guru kimia menunjukan bahwa 75,75% belum melakukan proses kenaikan pangkat, hal disebabkan kurangmya kemampuan gruru dalam penulisan karya ilmiah.  Kegiatan workshop daring menggunakan desain pembelajaran berbasis riset (PJBL), dengan langkah-langkah oriantasi dengan mengamati video penulisan karya ilmiah, diskusi, penugasan, dan penyimpulan, serta presentasi. Sebagai alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi yang dilakukan saat kelas virtual oleh observer dan test hasil kegiatan belajar. Kegiatan workshop penulisan karya ilmiah: laporan penelitian tindakan kelas secara daring dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru kimia dalam penulisan karya ilmiah (86,76% skor peserta workshop di atas rata-rata minimal), berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: penulisan karya ilmiah, kemampuan guru, penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan, yakni Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (penyampaian produk), Evaluation (evaluasi). Kuailitas produk dievaluasi dengan menggunakan metode evaluasi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri dari self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan expert review, dan angket.  Melalui tahap expert review dengan memperoleh skor kevalidan kevalidan materi sebesar 0,75 termasuk kriteria layak, kevalidan pedagogik sebesar 0,77 termasuk kriteria layak, kevalidan media sebesar 0,75 teramasuk kriteria layak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bahan ajar berbasis multimedia yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid. Berdasarkan ujicoba one to one diperoleh nilai sebesar 90,67% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan small group diperoleh nilai sebesar 90,67% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bahan ajar berbasis multimedia yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD interaktif yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Analisis Kebutuhan Buku Ajar Berbasis Kontekstual pada mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran” mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap buku ajar berbasis kontekstual pada mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen pengampuh mata kuliah Belajar dab Pembelajaran dan mahasiswa pendidikan kimia semester 5 yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan Belajar dan Pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara bahwa doesen pengampuh mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran hannya menggunakan buku umum belajar dan pembelajaran serta menggunakan power point. Sedangkan berdasarkan angket yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa pendidikan kimia, mereka membutuhkan bahan ajar berupa buku ajar berbasis kontekstual yang memuat contoh pembelajaran yang akan digunakan pada saat mereka menjadi pendidik nantinya.Kata Kunci:Penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif, Buku Ajar, Kontekstual, Belajar dan Pembelajaran

Abstract

This research is a descriptive survey research to analyze student needs for chemical literation integrated problem solving modules. The questionnaire was given to 89 active students of chemistry education at Sriwijaya University who were selected using a non-probability sampling technique. The results of the questionnaire were then analyzed using descriptive statistical tests. The results of this study indicate that students understand the qualifications needed as an undergraduate and are in the process of achieving this, and they agree to develop problem-solving integrated chemical literacy based basic chemistry modules as teaching materials that can help them to achieve the competences.Keywords: Chemical literation, Problem-Solving, Module, Chemistry
